{"id":625,"date":"2006-12-26T21:07:43","date_gmt":"2006-12-27T03:07:43","guid":{"rendered":"http:\/\/www.musefanpage.com\/blog\/?p=625"},"modified":"2008-09-05T18:19:34","modified_gmt":"2008-09-05T23:19:34","slug":"muse-pennsylvania","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/musefanpage.com\/blog\/?p=625","title":{"rendered":"Muse, Pennsylvania"},"content":{"rendered":"<div align=\"center\">\n<img decoding=\"async\" src=\"https:\/\/musefanpage.com\/Images\/penn_muse_po.jpg\"\/>\n<\/div>\n<p>Muse turned out to be a tiny place, one of those towns that people describe as &#8220;a wide spot in the road.&#8221; It&#8217;s not far off the beaten track, but you probably wouldn&#8217;t stumble across it if you weren&#8217;t looking for it. <\/p>\n<p>It has a smattering of wooden houses, <\/p>\n<div align=\"center\">\n<img decoding=\"async\" src=\"https:\/\/musefanpage.com\/Images\/penn_muse_street.jpg\"\/>\n<\/div>\n<p>two lodge halls (Kokonventioneers take note!), a church or two, a beauty salon, a day school that appears to double as a general store, a post office (see above), an elementary school,<\/p>\n<div align=\"center\">\n<img decoding=\"async\" src=\"https:\/\/musefanpage.com\/Images\/penn_muse_school.jpg\"\/>\n<\/div>\n<p>and not much else. <\/p>\n<p>Cell-phone photos taken on a gray, drizzly day in late December probably don&#8217;t do it justice. All the same, it&#8217;s probably never exactly picturesque.<\/p>\n<p>In other words, it&#8217;s absolutely <i>bursting<\/i> with potential.<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>Robert passed through it while driving home to Virginia after spending Christmas with his sister in Ohio.
