The last dream that I can remember involved running away from something frightening in the backyard of my old house. A lot of my dreams are like this. They’re terrifying because there is nowhere to go to escape.

I had a dream that me and ChemicalExperimentation went to the Olympics tennis court, and it was empty, and then a couple people walked up and one of them was the lead singer of The Almost, wearing the all-white tennis attire.
And then Lizzy said “There’s the lead singer of The Almost. He’s in the Olympics this year.”
So then I went to my family to tell them who I saw. And then the dream ended.
    How exciting.

Hmmm….oh, yeah, last night I had a dream that these people came over to our house. They were like family friends. And so a kid who was my age who I think I knew from school came into my room and I really didn’t want him there. I think I had made that clear before, so I got mad at him and I think I started shrieking at him. Wow. I wonder if I would do that in real life….probably not. I don’t really shriek at anybody unless it’s really frivolous.

I don’t usually remember my dreams, but when I do they’re really bizarre. Often I’m trying to run away from some faceless thing that I don’t even know what it is and I can’t go forward. I always try to run and I get dizzy and fall down, or I turn around and end up running toward whatever I was trying to escape.
    It’s weird.

This dream I had when I was in kindergarten, I think.

It took place in my house, which for some reason had become a daycare center, and there was about 5 kids and me in my room.
Suddenly a big gorilla came in, smoking a cigar. It asked me if I wanted one but I said no (i was smart!). Then the 5 kids and I hid behind a big cardboard box. When I looked out again, the gorilla was taking off it’s hands and putting on new ones with surgical gloves on them. I offered the old hands to the gorilla but it sweetly declined. When I asked why, it said that it was gonna give me plastic cheeks. Then I woke up.

    Yes, weird I know.

The other day I dreamed that it was the first day at my new school, 3 weeks ago. It was exactly like my real first day, because in my dream, I was standing in the courtyard, alone, looking for a face I somewhat recognised from that morning. Then, in my dream, the 3 girls who are now my best friends, were like (and they did this in real life too) “Do you want to sit here?” It was actually frightening, because it was just like that horrible first day, where I was the girl no one knew, and where I had no friends to be with. Good thing I have now made tons of friends, almost more than I had when i was in New Jersey. Wow – maybe moving 8000 miles away was good for me…. *goes off and mulls over the disturbing thought of my move being a good thing*

That dream was so real though…..

  16. La Mort/And now for something completely different: 25 spdzk points says:

When I was younger, I had a couple of recurring dreams. The first one was that a witch lived in the woods right outside our house. Another was that our school bus managed to fly off the road and into a tree right outside my house, but nobody was hurt and we all went into my basement, except it wasn’t really my basement. That’s what a lot of my dreams are. Something weird happening in a place that I know but that is somehow different and supernatural.

I don’t usually remember dreams, but for some reason I can remember one that I had at least two years ago. It was basically a holocaust-like dream, where everybody I knew was herded into this building and we went through a set of glass doors and nobody came back out. Somehow I managed to escape by running out of the line and down a hallway with a white tile floor and out a fire exit. Then I was running up a hill, and I managed to make it back to my own house and hide in my closet. Of course, whoever the evil guys were followed me and managed to track me to my house, but then they left and then I woke up. I remember not being able to fall asleep for a few hours afterwards because I was so scared of returing to that dream.

And now I’m remembering part of another dream where I’m running down a road. Those are the dreams I can remember. The nightmares which make me scared to fall asleep again. I don’t remember happy dreams. I’m rambling.

Here’s a question for everyone: What’s the scariest dream you’ve ever had.

    16 – The ones when I died.
Last year, when I was getting over a terrible migraine, I had three dreams in which I was killed. After I woke up, each time I had a pounding headache.
    I don’t remember the first.
The second, I was eaten by a shark after people trying to save me to also eaten.
Last was the worst. I had a priceless bracelet and my mother had turned cruel and become obsessed with it and ran me over with her car in order to get it.
THAT was terrifying. After I was ran over everything went black and I was screaming and screaming.

I’ve never told anyone about those dreams before..

16- Either the one with living angel statue that chased me around this old castle, teleporting in front of me every time I thought I’d got away, or any of the drowning nightmares.
They aren’t recurring, because the circumstances are never the same, but somehow, I end up underwater and not able to reach the surface, and my lungs are about to burst from holding my breath, and then- I wake up, panting.

16 – Okay. The scariest dream I ever had was when I was younger…like, maybe 8 or so. I was sick and had a fever of 104 degrees Fahrenheit. Really really bad. I was sleeping (no duh) and I had this dream that there were all of these letters, some really big with really deep voices and some really small with really high-pitched voices. And they were all kind of moving around threateningly and saying things in their loud scary voices. I woke up because I was really scared. So I went to my parent’s room, but I had to pass the top of the staircase to do that. I was hallucinating, and I thought that there were lots of knights on charging horses at the bottom of the stairs who were coming to run me over. I was terrified.

16~ I used to have all sorts of nightmares that scared me to death. One of the worst though, was a reoccurring dream.
I was suppoed to be waiting in my Dad’s truck (a Volkswagen Rabbit, BTW) for him to come back. It was parked on this street in town, I don’t even know where, but there were houses on both sides and it seemed very closed in. Then the car starts rolling. Not even fast, but I don’t know which is the brake, cluch or gas, and I’m still sitting in this car, going down this street and I’m stuck in the passenger’s seat. It would get going faster and faster, and I’d usually end up really scared and unable to fall asleep again.

21~ One time I yelled “Get off my play blanket!” at the top of my lungs in my sleep. It was halarious too, because it was 5 AM and my parents were just staring at me like I was a monster of some sort. I didn’t know what had woken me up, so I just asked them, then they died laughing and explained that I’d been yelling, and what in the world did I mean?

My sister cries and has fistfights with the wall by her bed in her sleep. She is really overdramatic and says that devils are trying to kill her in her sleep. I can tell that she doesn’t believe it herself, but she’s an attention hog.

I have really weird dreams. I had one that I was waiting for my dad to come pick me up and when I went outside to get in the car there were tigers all over my yard. I told my dad to leave and went inside. My mom and sister were in the backyard surrounded by tigers and eventualy they got in the garage. I let them in and our neighbor’s dog was there too so I let it in. I called 911 because I didn’t know what to do, and they sent a cop car. There was a male and a female cop. They got out and the tigers all jumped out of the trees in my yard and ran at them. The cops started beating the tigers with their nightsticks, and one of them grabbed the female cop and dragged her down the road. It was dark and rainy, so it was very scary. There was a dramatic view of the male cop screaming and then I woke up.

Whenever I remember dreams there is a lot of detail, but it takes longer to explain than it does to happen.

I had a really strange dream once that didn’t make any sense and I was telling my Mom about it the next morning and she got this weird look on her face and said that she guessed that I had dreamed about being born. It all matched up, so I don’t know if that was realy a memory, because they say that we never forget anything, just how to recall it.
Other times I’ve had dreams that were actually events that I think happened but I’d forgotten. Strange.

The wirdest fream I’ve probably had was one that was half in cartoon, and involved pirates, alligators and my grandparents old driveway becoming an ocean. Or the one where I was rescued by Peter Pan and stuck on a cruse boat with these two old ladies in a green room. Or….. Yeah, I have a lot of weird dreams.

I have a pretty awesome one that I happen to have typed up – but please remember I was pretty young when I wrote this (I’ve decided not to edit it):

My Dream (or “The Touch bug”)

I was walking along after my hospital duties (some sort of camp my sister was in and my mom signed me up for) when some people invited me to play soccer. They were nice people, so they gave me to the team that was doing the worst because they thought that I would improve their chances of winning. We lost anyway. Then I was going past some guy doing tests on kelp and how it would hep medicines when suddenly (did I mention a lake just suddenly appeared after the big game?) the man turned into Hagrid and the hospital half-turned into a seaside village. Hagrid invited me to go on a boat ride to his “special place” and we got into the boat. But Hagrid was too big, so we fell into the ocean. A big black thing came soaring toward us (in the water) and suddenly I was Harry Potter. I climbed out but couldn’t remember which spell to use. Then Hagrid climbed out and we got into the boat again. This time Hagrid got in on the other side and with me directing my weight over the front, we stayed in the boat. I asked how long it would take but then the boat rocketed forward and we were there. It was an island with rocks for a ground, just big enough to fend off an attack from a sea monster. Or so I thought. The rocks really were only big enough to stand on, with a little bridge that was actually in the water. I crossed it quickly before the sea monster got here and suddenly I was in a jungle. There was only one place you could stand without being crushed by the local flora. And that was too close for comfort to where the sea monster could get. I quickly went in further, and Hagrid was there along with a scientist. They were studying the plants and a weird little bug that looked like a cockroach and was irresistibly cute. I reached out to pick him up when for no reason I looked down at my feet. There were leeches all over them. I screamed, “How do I get them off How how how how how!!” and then Hagrid said, “This is the spell: Waddiwasi.” (editing now: if any of you remember this is the spell Remus Lupin uses to shoot chewing gum Peeves was stuffing up a keyhole back at him. HOW my subconscious dredged it up from that book I don’t know, but dreams will be dreams I suppose) I must have said it a hundred thousand times and every single leech went whizzing over to Hagrid’s feet. He said that I wasn’t doing it right and told me how to do it. Then the bug crawled toward me. The cute bug was so cute that I tried to pick him up again but Hagrid said NO! That bug is poisonous! and so I started screaming again but this time I figured it was kinda like the leech so I said Wasiwadi the right way this time at it and it keeled over dead. but then it got back up and began crawling towards me and I tried to kill it again. It did the same thing alot until it was right up in my face. Hagrid said that it cannot be killed if it has something to say. So I let it do it’s thing and it said pick me up and rub your knuckles on my back and then blow on them. I did it and some little butterflies came out. So then it said see? some thing aren’t that horrible. Then we all did it but to make a long story short we did it for a while but then I touched it in the wrong place and became really small (the poison’s effect, I suppose), added to my already small body this made me really small. I don’t know what must have happened after that but everybody was sorry and somebody gave me a couple fish and a tank. I slept in the hospital that week and helped out during the day. One day I was playing in a shipment of green apple aspirin (editing now: what the heck?!) when suddenly I was changed back to my normal form. I started doing everything normally and was playing soccer when I got up next to Morgan (a good friend of mine). I suddenly realized that I was a couple inches shorter than before. I then found out that the only cure for the touch bug was an herb called maya. I took It but felt sorry for the little kids and played soccer with both them and the kids my size. Then I asked for some guy’s Gameboy and he said no.

    The End

I hate dreams that end abruptly, don’t you? Anyway, this shows just how much my writing skills have progressed.

This is the only dream I’ve ever written down (I can tell you about another, incidentally called “The Pig Sniper”, but I’m losing the details because it’s not on paper) Care to guess at it’s meaning?

A really strange dream I once had was:
    (well, two)

I was in a boring gray building, and Voldemort was holding people captive or something, so I try and save them. I see Samantha Parkington (yes, from American Girl) in a room (like a police interrogation room with a one-way window) being tortured on the rack. Then I run into Luna Lovegood, who rose from the dead, and I say, “How was being dead? Did you see your mother?” very quietly. And she says, “Yes. I also saw J. R. Bloomsbury.” Then I woke up, but I never found out who that guy was. Can someone Google it for me, please?

Another one. I entered a room with trees painted on the wall, and who do I see but Ryan and Sharpay Evans from High School Musical. What are they doing? Oh. They’re playing Pokemon. Ryan sends out a Turtwig (or Pikachu, I can’t remember), and Sharpay sends out a Piplup.
Confused, I run into the next room, and I’m in the Millennium Falcon. I see Holly Short (from Artemis Fowl) attempting to fix something. She’s very frustrated, banging a wrench on a lever. Then, I see Anakin (as a boy) coaching her, and Hermione’s there too, patiently waiting for her to fix it.
Then, Han Solo comes up behind me and pushes me overboard (at this point the door is open), I fall, see Pluto, and wake up.

    Weird, huh?

The other night I had a dream that I was sitting in the auditorium with a bunch of people, and I was on the edge of the stage and some people were in the house, and I can’t remember why but I was staring at them very calmly and evenly, and then a girl to my right started giggling and talking about stuff moving and when I looked over there were worms in my dress. And I was freaking out and pulling handfuls of worms out of my dress and I didn’t know if there were more and I was freaking out, like screaming almost, because they were so cold and they moved and they were in my clothes, and I couldn’t take off my dress because there were people watching. And then I woke up, naturally extremely hot and sweaty, and when I went back to sleep I was right back in the same place, but a different situation. I can’t remember what it was.

  34. A Mouse Named Alice says:

21- Whenever I talk in my dreams I wake up. “Help!” and it comes out all small and scratchy and not like a cry for help should sound at all so I wake up. And when I cry in dreams (last year I had a dream with sandwiches and I woke up crying – I often cry when I’m hungry), it’s more a dry little sob and so I wake up because it isn’t helping.
Last night I dreamed a lot, and it was all sort of connected too.

I can’t remember where it started, but I remember the cast of characters. There were several people who are in the play, as well as some who aren’t, and a few completely made-up people, like someone I kept saying that I thought was Kim. (I don’t know anyone named Kim.) But anyway, there was a large snake thing, it was orange and blue, and it was pretty evil too, and someone was trying to tame it without much success. And eventually we got it to eat some M&Ms which helped a little but we still needed to keep an eye on it. I was new to this adventure thing, and everyone was being terribly nice about it and not getting mad at me for making mistakes. I have a feeling I’m skipping a large part, but eventually some of my friends and I went through a white door between two Roman columns that had big pieces of tape holding them together and they were flaking off. So we opened the door and we were in this jungle. I looked like once it had been a city but it had fallen apart and been covered with vines. And now there was a sense of urgency, because we were being chased by someone. But I thought that if we kept going through these rooms (the jungle was the second one, I can’t remember the first), eventually we would come full circle and get back to our friends and the snake. And so we kept going through the rooms and one of them looked sort of like our town only empty and the houses were purple and a girl gave me a ride on her bike, and it was getting more and more urgent and my Mother was calling me, and then I woke up. And Mother wasn’t really calling me, but I went back to sleep and something happened with the snake, I wish I could remember what it was, because it was exciting and epic and colorful, and then the whole thing kind of turned into a sequel to Terraformed and I woke up.

Actually I just noticed that a lot of my dreams contribute to my unrealistic fear of my parents abusing me. Mostly the reason I don’t act up is because I have a subconscious fear that my parents will snap and become violent. That doesn’t even make sense though because I know they wouldn’t do that.

One by one, my family members drop off until they form a sort of chain, hanging on with just their hands. I’m left now, so I grab my dad’s hand, fall off the bridge, and now I’m hanging on by two sweaty fingers (remember, it;s still on fire). I let go.
    And then I wake up.

I have this other dream involving The Mummy and Indiana Jones and a static electricity remover, but I won’t get into that right now.

i once had a rather boring dream that a had a little black scottie dog. yay. BUT THEN…about two years later, long after i had completely forgotten about this dream, i had another dream with the scottie dog in it and i remembered him!! and it was so connected to reality, there was even an explanation for why i hadn’t seen him for two years, he was locked in the basement (doesn’t really make sense, but…it’s an explanation nonetheless)!!

maybe it was because i remembered the dog from two years ago and it was connected to reality, the dream seemed so real. when i woke up, it took me a while to convince myself that it was only a dream, and i didn’t have a dog.

I hold my breath in my sleep a lot, but I never remember if I’m dreaming about it.

I had a dream once where I was in a clothes store and I went to go in the dressing rooms and I had to take my shoes off at the end of the hall first. Every room I opened had a different thing happening in it, and they were all really big rooms. There was a baseball game going on inside one.

Wow. I had a dream that I was googling videos about Ron and Hermione last night. It was very odd. I found this one that was very innapropriate. I remember stopping it because I didn’t want my mom checking my history. And all of this was while I was playing kickball with some guys at school. Queer. [love that word.]

Once when I was in 1st grade, I had this really weird dream. I can still picture it in my mind.

I was outside a mall near my house, but instead of having a parking lot there was a big medow-field thing. And on the field there were giant rabbits. They were as big as lions, but they were really calm and just ate grass. Then my sister needed to go to the bathroom, so we went into the mall, but instead of having stores and stuff, it was this small hallway made of metal. We saw that the line was to long and left. We went back outside and my family (including my grandparents) jumped up from behind a rabbit and gave my sister and I a bag of cookies with different colored icing.
    Weird.

Last night I had a bizarre dream that for the French final, all the girls had to get pregnant and deliver their babies in class. On the day of the final, two other girls had big round stomachs like beach balls. But I hadn’t been able to get pregnant. The French teacher was fussing over me and telling me to lean from side to side so she could see if there was a baby in there. I told her that I probably couldn’t have one because I was a runner. I was relieved that I wouldn’t have to give birth on the table during class, but I also felt sort of left out from the other girls.

Last night I had a strange dream. I can only remember the end. Pan and THF and I were on the wrong side of the river, and we had to cross the bridge to get back to *******, but the only way we could cross the bridge was to walk. And walking on the bridge wasn’t allowed. But a bunch of other people were walking across the boat, and so one of us said, “We’ll just pretend it’s a tourist boat,” and we started inconspicuously walking across the bridge and I woke up.

I had a really scary dream last night. I dreamt that I was pregnant, and I didn’t know how I was because I didn’t do anything that would lead to me getting pregnant. I kept on coming to school with this huge belly and my classmates would look at me weird and I couldn’t get an abortion because Bush banned it. It was so scary. Then my music teacher became counselor [my EVIL music teacher] and she was the only one I had to talk to. It was scary, because I was in SEVENTH GRADE, people. If you didn’t catch this, it was really scary. I woke up crying.

I had a dream last night that Beavo sent Rebecca Lasley a letter, but the mailman must have messed up, and the letter ended up in the kitchen of my house (side note–the envelope was addressed with blue gel pen). I opened it, and then realized that I shouldn’t have, so I decided to say that my parents had opened it because they thought it was addressed to them…? And then I woke up. And I never actually read the letter…

I usually never lie, and I’ve never read anybody’s letters or anything without their permission. I was thinking maybe it was inspired by my feeling as though

64- Read Harry Potter (or a book that you are OBsessed with) right before falling asleep. Then think about the book while you are trying to fall asleep. It’s a great way to get ideas for new fanfictions. If you don’t read, then there’s no help for you. If the squid dreams don’t go away, ummmmm… ask someone elso on MB.

62- I can only think of one MB-related dream. I was posting something, I think it was a story I was working on, and I was really roud, because it was like 60 pages long or something on Word. Anyway, my comment didn’t wait for moderation (i know, right?) and Beavo posted saying that it was complete crap. I started crying. Then Alice and RTHawk started reprimanding him, and he said that he couldn’t help it because he was a sea monkey and it wasn’t too pleasant not having krill to eat and he was hungry.

It’s strange. All of my MB dreams are realistic, and involve Beavo.

I had a dream that I was standing in line at the circus. The background was the typical spongebob setting, with the flowers in the sky and such. when I got in, the background was newsprint. Then Ron Weasley came out in a thong.

One of my recent dreams was that I was in line to get into a movie theater, and next to the line was my pet rabbit’s cage. And someone was standing in it. To get into the movie theater you had to dig holes in pots of dirt to help the gardeners. And the movie was based on a Beatles song that never existed.
