Just for fun, we punched the Fan Page (and MuseBlog’s) URL into SaferPage, a site that tests websites and rates how safe they are for kids. The result: we’re safe, all right.
We’re sugar-free marshmallows, fluffy non-allergenic pillows, scratchless, biteless kittens and puppies. We don’t tag you or track you or run invisible scripts or feed you cookies. And our only signpost on the big, scary Internet is one external link on Wikipedia.
The best part of the report, though, is the list of keywords. Take a look:

That about says it all, doesn’t it?
‘Gratz, Jade. xD
tober? Really?
*steeples fingers*
Everything is coming together quite nicely.
Mostly harmless? We’re completely harmless. Release the Slightly Dangerous Squid! Engage Peril Procedure!
On a completely, totally unrelated note, who’s up for a game of Paker?
Yeah actually okay how did “tober”
beat meget in there? It’s the second half of the name of this month’s random thread. Maybe big letters get a heavier weighting.
There’s a link to it on the Musery Loves Company page and also one on the official Muse website.
Interesting. Maybe the safety-tester just looks at major sites.
I’d like to know why plaints ranks higher than rants
Does anyone feel inspired to write a poem about tobers? Slithy ones, perhaps?
‘Twas Museblog, and the slithy tobers
did think and comment through the threads.
All random was the craziness…
Like the Fiddler’s wild dreads.
Errata- I was thinking the exact same thing. I think it’s time to release the Zombie Squirrel Overlords. They aren’t the most dangerous creatures, certainly not as dangerous as the hot pink lagomorphs, but they still aren’t completely harmless… Or maybe we could somehow make pie wars more perilous. Paker sounds excellent, and it may not be completely unrelated at all. Wasn’t there a certain game of Paker at one point that started eating holes in reality?
Was there really? What a coincidence.
“Floote, there’s no such thing as coincidence, there’s just vampires.”
-The Parasol Protectorate
I can’t remember which book that’s from, and I actually may have misquoted it.
The lesson to take away from this is: Don’t use sarcasm on the internet.
Because now I’m just confused.
Wait, you were being sarcastic?
Yep. Sarcasm the whole way through. I was afraid it wasn’t coming through, but I didn’t know how to stop that without that post. Hence that post.
Actually, it wasn’t sarcasm the whole way through. I actually do want to play Paker.
I think that she loves the quote, so she says it whenever people mention coincidence.
“or it is an adult site”
Robert, what haven’t you been telling us about what’s on the MuseBlog servers?
I probably registered the site anonymously to make it harder for “search-engine optimization” services to bother me. I don’t remember, but it sounds like something I would have done.
That means the blog is still unGoogleable?
That’s right, and it’s probably why Saferpage thought we might be an adult site.
(It turns out it’s not anonymous. I checked with WHOIS, and my name and home address are right on it.)
So maybe that’s the slight harm?
SCRATCHLESS? BITELESS?
if we are then i am not a warrior cat! MREOOOW!
sorry, i just wanted to be loyal to my clan
