Thank you, GAPAs! Unfortunately, I can not comment more than briefly because one thing that is required of me since going to school is that I leave for the bus rather early.

On the bright side, I’ve noticed that I really don’t need to get up at six if I don’t want to. I could get up at six-thirty and be perfectly fine, I think. As long as I didn’t spend those twenty minutes getting dressed.

Other then that, my school rocks.

Oh, and not really school related, but academics related, I find out tomorrow how I did in the eCyberMission competition. -nervous- If we win, I will be on here posting in all capital letters on every thread I can find. Seriously.

Please close your answer booklet and tests and put it in the corner of your desk if you have not already done so. I will come to collect all of you books. Thank you.” We can’t get out of our seats even! My favorite grade was 3rd. It was as easy (kind of) as pie, and fun!! For spring break, I went to Georgia, and my cousin told me that the older you get, the later school starts! Well, for us it’s in elementary it starts at 9:00. In Middle School, bus comes at 7:30. Actually, to be quite honest, I like school. Only I hate homework. I have so many wonderful thing that I would love to be doing with my life and homework makes them all vague dreams. WHich is really sad. My life would be boring without school I think. Plus school gives me an incentive to learn further and a chance to hang out with friends. Life without homework, par contra, would be divine. Superb. Magnificent. Godly. And no tests. Or any of that. Just interesting classes. Optional classes, I think. Ok, I have it. THe ideal school would be a series of lectures and forums which one could choose to go to. The only grade would be based on one’s attendance. That way, it would be possible to learn, be with friends, without foul and disgusting stress, cruel and heartless homework, and potently evil tests.

But other than that, school is pretty good. I’ve got a photo calls, learning to print your own photos from negatives you took with an old-fashioned camera. Unfortunately, the high school was built in 1938. Seventy years’ worth of students passing through that building has worn it out a bit.

But the town is coming up with a plan to remodel or rebuild the school. Let’s hope they choose to rebuild it entirely–although construction wouldn’t even start till I’ve graduated. *sigh*

If we didn’t have school, we could go more places. And learn more things in 1 day, than in 100 days of school, if we were out in the world. When I went on a trip to Australia I learned SO MANY THINGs in 1 day! We could hang out with our friends more. We could get something REAL to eat. And we wouldn’t stress. At school, they only teach you the stuff like good reading, and how to do math (which is kinda good, but if we didn’t have school, to be sucessful you would need to know just which is your right hand, and which is your left hand. but school raises the standards, like you need to know Algebra, you need to be a good writer, and math) but if we could go different places, we could learn so many cool, and awesome things about our world! Yes, I admit it. I am thankful for school. But we might need some longer vacation to go places we want to!!

Humanities: We just finished our Renaissance/Shakespeare unit. We are moving onto WWII and read When the Emperor was Divine.

8-Don’t be scared. It isn’t that bad. *famous last words*

But really, high school isn’t that bad with the peer pressure. In middle school the adults tried to make it seem like the worst possible thing that could happen in high school was someone asking you if you want a cigarette. I’ll have everyone here know that it is not bad at all. This is how it goes:

What middle school tells you it’s like=
Kid: Hey do you want a cigarette?
    You: Umm I don’t know…
Kid: Come onnnnnn it’s just one and anyway everyone cool is doing it!
    You: Well…
Kid: Fine if you won’t do it then I’ll make everyone hate you and my friends are going to beat you up and you’ll have to anyway.

That was what I thought it would be like. Here is what actually happens:
Kid: Hey do you want to come over and smoke with me sometime?
You: No. I don’t do that stuff.
    Kid: You sure?
    You: Yep.
    Kid: Ok that’s cool.

Spanish project, due the 25th/23rd, not started.
Health chapters, due April 30 for extra credit, one sixty-ninth done.

    This is my free time:
    Today.
    Tomorrow between 3:30 and 5:00.
    Many hours on a bus.
A few hours at the Shakespeare Festival when I won’t be thinking about homework.
    A few hours Sunday.

I’m dead meat. Particularly given that I’m not allowed to check my email at school, and Mrs. T requires the essay drafts to be typed…

The two smaller Spanish assignments are done, as is my science homework. The essay draft continues to pose a problem. Oh! I have an idea! *runs off*

HHHHHW. The first draft of my ten-page history paper is due tomorrow! Ahhhhhh. I have a first draft but my conclusion is abominable. *goes off to write conclusion* And my citations are missing page numbers. And my grammar is delinquent.
Then there’s the French test on Thursday. The math test on Friday. My dance to choreograph. English vocab quiz tomorrow. *discreetly dies*

I have a solution! *dances* I write the paper, format it, email it off to my dad, who prints it, sticks it in an envelope, and mails it to me to collect before – Oh, snap. All right, that settles it. I guess I’m walking back to my house after the Ashland trip. I hate sleeping in the house alone, though. Maybe I’ll find a solution. Email it to my teacher?

Yay! I did like, half of my homework last night, so now all I have is this:
Math homework, due Monday, not yet begun.
Lines, due next Wednesday, sort of done.
Spanish project, due the 25th/23rd, not started.
Health chapters, due April 30 for extra credit, one sixty-ninth done.

And only the math homework needs to be done soon enough that I’ll be doing it in Ashland/on the bus. And the lines, of course, but I’ll be running them on the bus.

Not really that much homework…except my research report (ugh) outline due Thursday. I’m glad it’s Friday, but in two hours, I will be at school again for the musical, either watching or filling in for my friend, depending on whether she’s better or not.
School kind of sucked today. My teacher was a little irritated at everyone today, which is never good. PE was actually a little bit fun! *gasp*
    That’s pretty much it.

Homework…today I was bored so I did my Science vocab. I have to write a rough draft for a Geography paper due on Wednesday, and I think it’s a freakishly long amount of pages or something. I’m not sure.

Anyway, I have the huge dilemma of whether or not I want to go to school again next year, or be homeschooled again. I’m going to have to do something drastic to decide. Maybe. Ugh.
