Oh man. Digimon. Brings back memories (not the cartoon anime, but the pocket pet Digimons which I imagine were related to the anime?). I had a Digimon as a kid. Back when gigapets and nanopets and all that were all the rage in the 90s (scary to think that’s actually before some of y’all were born.), my sister and I desperately wanted a gigapet/nanopet, but my parents (especially dad, I imagine), refused. And then one year, for Christmas, a relative got both my sister and I a Digimon. And we fed them and cleaned up their poop, and took care of them religiously, and it ws always such a huge achievement when they made it out of babyhood and didn’t have to be fed as frequently, and it was always so sad each time they died and we started over again……
