Anyways, Musefanpage.com is so much better.
Oh, good. I was confuzzled about the Muserology submission rules, and now there’s a nice and handy form. YAY!
It is quite a lot better than the old caruspub site though. Especially if they keep it updated.
Anyone else played Match the Muses? I won in twelve tries.
I particularly like the ‘library’ and ‘muserology’ sections. I’ve already submitted a review! (I’m Sarah from the nebulous midwest. It probably hasn’t gotten there yet.)

It is still a pretty cool website, though! If I actually had time to explore it. Which I don’t right now. Maybe this weekend.

Even when it’s fixed, though, the comments (and reviews, and whatever else you post) will go through a moderator here before getting published on the website. That may be a little slow, especially right now, while the moderator is me.

Uhhh… no offense to the person that made it up, but i think it needs some work. But whatever. I probably will be staying here.
13 – The website has been a group effort. I helped plan the layout and organization of the website, and uploaded a lot of the content, but the technical stuff is (I’m happy to say) not my job.
14 – Well, it’s a work in progress, so if you have specific comments I’d be glad to hear them!
I think it’s a great website! Being overly critical, I find that a Flash based environment inside of a html based site can be confusing, because it’s hard to build a good map. Anyways, it’s a good job all around! The resources section that contains links to issue related books is a very good idea.
I like it…it’s pretty cool.

I love the website; it’s a big improvement over the previous one. The book reviews and Explorations page are a nice feature. One negative comment, though: the animation of the cards turning over on the matching game is excruciating. It takes soo long and then as soon as the second card turns over they flip again.
It’s pretty cool! Oh and E.P. can you tell Samantha Sordyl that Allegra says hi? I bet she’ll remember me.
Oh my gooderness, that is so cool!!!!!! I love the library. It took a while to load on my dad’s laptop, but it was totally worth it!!!!! Where’s the Match the Muses thing?
21–go to Research Lab then to Amusements, and then choose match the Muses from the column on the left…..
22- Ah. It’s fun!
Better than I expected. Quite a few glitches, although I’m sure those’ll be worked out soon. And I agree that the flash/HTML combo isn’t ideal. Too clunky.

I like the new website. The “Kokonino County” page (and pages that link from it) is my favorite. I like the book reviews, too.
I think the site will be a huge hit among the younger readers, it’s very kid freindly with the graphics and all…

I can’t seem to beat 13 tries on Match the Muses–that’s my best score…..That is, my best score w/o cheating–I haven’t tried it cheating yet–i’m trying to resist the temptation….
I like how the website wasn’t designed to really challenge MuseBlog. It sort of fills a different niche, maybe for the younger readers that seem more common every issue.
31- Yeah, like that 6 year old who wrote to the Q&A in the current issue.

30, 33 – Embarrassing confession: I have yet to complete the difficult-level sliding puzzle. Even though there seems to be a glitch in the program that makes the pieces not really random. That thing is NOT for 6-year-olds.
34–What?! You can’t beat it? I beat all three….Actually the easy one took me the longest, the hard one probably took me the least time, but it didn’t seem all that mixed, either…..
What program does it use?
I’ve done all of them. It’s really pretty straight-forward — the toughest part is just figuring out what the picture is, so you actually know where to move the pieces.
33- I am; just merely commenting on a fact.
34/35- There’s one of those puzzles (in the literal sense, not virtual) at my school and we al fight over who will use it next. We also have competitions on how to complete it the fastest. The record is 17 seconds. My best time is 32 seconds.
its ..nice.. i guess. i tried to play the games but i couldnt see the whole screeen so it didnt work.
Agree with Vendeval, TMFA, Piggy etc that the mix of flash and html isn’t the best (perhaps look into an html only version for dial-up users) but it does a good job and the website is very nice.

Wish it wasn’t so flashy. I like generic websites like Muse Fan Page.
It’s okay, I just hope that it’ll be maintained more than the old Carus website. i do have a few problems with it though, first, it doesn’t show up in FireFox, and in IE it takes a while to load, too long, in my opinion.
I’m trying to look around it now, and it seems like it’ll be good. Although, if it has on;y as much information as the other websites for the specific magazines it’ll be a little disappointing. I was hoping that the websites would have more information and behind the scenes stuff than they actually seem to have a this point. Maybe more is in the pipeline, so that would be good.
In any case, I’m glad it’s up and running.
Glitch Alert: The “Post Office” can be reached through the links at the bottom of the page. If you first visit Kokonino County, it’s there! However, it is not yet anything much.

I found another glitch. If you click on the “Sample Magazine” link, a page comes up which says “requested page not found.” Either a simple broken link or the page hasn’t been created yet. Either way, it’s broken.
Okay, I gotta say that only a select number of posts under the Muserologies are let through. I’ve posted a good dozen times, but only about four of the posts were allowed. Apparently they want to make sure that MB is the only place for open communication among Musers.
my best is 15. i hate sliding puzzles, but that’s just my opinion.
