Cool, my first MuseBlog chess game! ….
First blood!
No! No! No! Accident!!!
Sorry. I moved before I looked at your post. If the GAPAs can undo, please feel free, but otherwise I feel obliged to tell you that you can kill my queen with your bishop, then I kill your bishop with my king and in the end all you lost was a bishop.
Applause for the excellent pin!
(Not a pin — a fork.)
*Looks up what a fork is* *Looks up what a pin is*
Interesting! We always called them all pins in my chess club at school.
After White’s 8th move, the knight was pinned (because White couldn’t move it without losing the queen). But Black’s 12th move was a fork: a move that attacks two pieces at once, so that one of them can be captured on the next move. You can use “pin” and “fork” as verbs, too: Black’s knight forked the king and the rook.
Got it!
(Writing after Black’s 18th move.) Exciting game! Fast-paced, too.
This game is now the second on “currently popular”, seconded only by the random thread. I am amazed!
Because this game is going so fast! (yay!)
(I moved)
Awww, why did you resign? You still had a good chance of winning, all I had was a few more pawns than you did.
Anyway, good game. *shakes hand*
Good game, *shakes hand*.
TT:
If on your 31st move you had played Nc4 check, things might have turned out very differently.
