I know someone who works for Ask, Click, and Muse, so I get all my issues early. The company copies just came today, so the other ones should be going out in the mail soon.

Well. I got mine Wednesday. And that evening, yesterday, I was skimming through it. I was looking at the letters. Skimmed the first two, looked at the last one on the first letter-page. Thought, “hey, this Muser plays the violin too!” Read a bit more. Thought, “Hey, this looks familiar. I wonder where I saw it before.” Did a double-take. Thought to myself, “wait, did I write this?” Turned to page 45. Realized that I actually did write it. Did a little happy dance. Then realized I never sent the letter to the magazine; I posted here instead. If I’d realized it would have been printed, I’d have edited.
Happy. I feel special now.

I’m afraid I don’t remember how Lizzie’s post wound up in Muse Mail. I suspect that what happened was something like this: Lizzie submitted her note to the old Gaboomba message board but sent it to the general Fan Page e-mail address. I thought, “Hm, looks as if she meant to send this to the magazine” and forwarded it to Muse‘s e-mail address, muse@caruspub.com.
However it happened, I have no power over what appears in Muse Mail. That’s all up to She Who Must Not Be Named and her minions in Chicago. I hear they like chocolate, by the way.
