It arrived early Sunday morning, blog time. How do you like it so far?
Well, it was a nice temperature yesterday. All in the 70s. Whic was nice than thursday, which was really hot (90s) and last saturday, which was really cold (it was down to 38 when I left for tennis at 7, stayed around the 50s for the rest of the day).
Hmmm….
BIRTHDAY TIME W00TICLES!!! xD
I like it so far. Nice and cool outside, but not so cold that we can’t have th doors open, overcast, the air smells nice.
w00t autom. my birthday cometh. ‘early sunday morning’ is a dear america book about pearl harbour.
autum is my favrit season.
4-Ooh. I think I read that book a really long time ago…
It is very autumn-y so far. I re-filled the bird feeders, for the gazillionth time, and some trees are reddish. Fun!
question: why do we use autum and fall interchangeable but not spring and vernal?
Bah. Humbug. I don’t like fall. Me lurvie Summer.

6- No idea. That’s a good question, though. *ponders*
I love Autumn!
Yesterday, we went apple picking and picked a bushel of apples! THF is downstairs making apple pie as I type!
Fall is my favorite season.
9- We had an apple pie/crisp/tart at the housewarming party yesterday.
‘m gonna go see if I can balance an egg or something now. This is the supposed time, yes?
Oooh, I got it to stand! Whee!
…and now it won’t anymore. I managed it in a few seconds at first, but it won’t stay up now… I took a picture of it before though. Sorry for the tripple post…
Heh, tomarrow I’m going to wish everyone a happy atumnal equinox. I doubt they’ll know what I’m talking about.
4: I loved that book.
I absolutely adore Fall/Autumn/whatever you call it. It is by far my favorite season though each one has good things about it. I just wish there were more leaves around to jump in.
9: I associate Autumn with apple pie! w00t!
I love the Fall, its so pretty!!!! I am dancing at an apple orchard in october, and they always give us free cider, and they have delicious apples and sweets!!! We get to pick some afterwards, and it is never crowded!!!!
6 ~ They’re different parts of speech, aren’t they? Vernal is an adjective (vernal equinox) and autumn’s a noun (autumnal equinox). Vern isn’t a word, though, is it?
The only days it’s felt like fall were Monday and maybe Tuesday of last week. After that it’s mainly been in the eighties. According to inAccuWeather, it’ll be close to ninety on Tuesday!
Autumn is my favorite season! I love the swirling, falling leaves! And the colours, oh the colours…
I just saw the harvest moon. Autumn is the best season ever. Period.
Another really hot day. Blech. I want it to be cold so I can go apple picking and go to the Headless Horseman and stuff. Not that it’s impossible to do these things when it’s warm…it just would feel so wrong. >w<
6- Because (I think) Fall is the American term, and Autumn is the British term.
AN ODE TO AUTUMN
Autumn!
What light beyond the sky shall we not have
seen
by our eyes which glisten
Foliage mean
The leaves that fall upon your visage
red
The time of MEAP and SAT’s we
dread
Embrace the air throughout nostrils
crispily
And eat the apple core and all
To see!
O, the joy of yonder piles we
rake
And thus the only season without a real
break
But on we tread!
On we carry our
light
And when the night doth grow dim
we are flight
Flight that is of passage
gone
Into the south that the goose might
yawn
The timed hayfever wander through our
walls
Onto the soils, sickened we shall
Fall
But to awaken one the day of all this
past
We embrace the season but to
last
To last, O Autumn!
Might thy flee, and we shall wander
impassively
To search for you on another day
Till next the year you come our
way.
okkk that wuz long. But still yay Autumn!
Yay poemz!
It feels like fall. A front moved through last night, filling our big rain barrel, and it seems to have brought out the fall colors, with pretty leaves blowing around in the wind despite our drought. It feels great! I love fall.
URG. I hate it when the green everywhere startes to fade.
TMFA- Good question!
22-Moochas poems! yay
21, 25- Yup.
Sorry I’m not that appreciative, I’m not a fan of fall/ autumn.
Autumn’s my second-favorite season, after spring. Though right now I’m not exactly thrilled with the fluctuating weather: 80s and 90s one week and in the 50s the next. I like it better when it’s all cold and after the leaves have started turning, especially when I get to sit inside with my kitty and a cup of hot cocoa and watch the leaves fall to the ground.
I celebrated fall by falling on my behind in a creek on the first day of fall. Fall is ok. Summer is my favorite, and I can’t stand winter, even though my birthday is in winter. I want to have half-birthday parties but nooooo. Anyway I’m going to leave before I start rambling.
You celebrated fall by falling? That’s logical.
At last, I can go outside without being afraid I’ll faint on the tarmac and be cooked to death!
Wow! This is a really dead thread!!!
28-I did too! Well, relatively near the first day of fall. Monitoring a stream…
Red-tailed HAWK

and what aout winter?
