I never figured that the guy who wrote about the smartest man ever in literature was such an idiot in real life.

    Muselover–yeah… Sherlock Holmes is awesome.

    Such a good issue. :)

The info about the whole ‘switching senses’ thing was my favorite part, I think. So interesting.

I thoroughly enjoyed “Ghosts and Gumshoes.” I liked the “Fakespeare” article Doug Stewart wrote recently, too, so I’d like to see more from him, please.

    Swapping senses was fascinating.

“The Death of Balder”: It’s a Muse Mini-myth! A Norse one! Whee! It was a story I didn’t already know–always fun. (I’m still puzzling over one part of the myth: Hermod was going to Queen Hel to fetch Balder’s soul back. So, why did the other gods burn Balder’s corpse? Had Hermod been successful, Balder wouldn’t have had a body to return to.) Not related: like the orange mushrooms on page 21 very much.

“Bad News Bugs”: Yes! Finally I understand the difference between grasshoppers and locusts!

“The Science of Screech” was interesting, and “Flies on the Wall” was beautiful in a slightly creepy way.

Overall: A smashing issue. Thanks for the mental stimulation!
