I hop off my horse and lead it through the pumpkin vines before tying it to a fence. Not quite a roof, is it, I think to myself. The sun is just setting, so the sky is a brilliant orange. There’s a slight chill in the air, and the fallen leaves swirl around in the breeze. I decide to enter the barn.
((This is where we place our jack-o-lanterns, correct?))
((I guess so.))
“Oh, hi. I just came up for fresh air, but I do have a pumpkins. Yes, a pumpkins. It’s a big one eating a little one.”
I place my jack-o-lantern with the others. It is small, perfectly round, and carved into an exact likeness of Jack Skellington’s head.
I find the pumpkin display and place a medium-sized pumpkin near the others. It is carved with a pattern of forked lightning bolts striking the ground.
