I was just wondering if the magazine is actually running out of Muserologies? Because this one was a “Classic Muserology?” If so, that’s a little bit saddening.
I’ve wanted to write a Muserology, but I could never think of anything that mattered so much to me that I could actually write about it.

We always need more Muserology submissions!

If anyone has an idea for a Muserology but isn’t sure whether it would work, I’d be happy to respond to it.

What about another band one? I know someone already did a marching band article, but, with my limited marching-band experience, I was hoping to provide a different perspective, on concert/jazz band?

I could probably write one on marching band, but there’s already been a band muserology (back in 09, I think) and I’ve already had a muserology published, so…

I’ve been thinking of writing one about my scuba & free diving (mis-)adventures, but since I nearly drowned once, it’s mostly about overcoming my hydrophobia and I’m afraid that it might be too disturbing.

I would love to read that story! And I’m currently looking for scary material for our October issue…

I have things I could write a Muserology about, but I feel a little odd about it since I’m definitely on the older end of the Muse-reading spectrum.

Agent LIghtning/Tesseract: If you want to submit a story about band, it would have to provide a different perspective from our last marching-band Muserology (http://www.musemagkids.com/muserology/confessions-a-bando) (no, I don’t know how to do links, it’s embarrassing).

Midnight Fiddler: As long as you’re a Muse reader, you’re eligible to write a Muserology!

So, my issue came, but my parents just put it together with a pile of mail, so I didn’t actually read it until yesterday. I loved this issue.

Bo’s Page was, as always, my favorite. *cough*DIDYOUSEETHESTORYABOUTFLYINGSQUID??THEY’REREAL!THEY’REREAL!*cough* Oh, excuse me. My allergies have been acting up the past three days.

I’d never heard of Lemuria before. Now I want to write a story that takes place in it!

I also really liked the “Bookscapes” article, and “Designing the Future”.

The article about Neandertals cleared up some misinformation for me, and it was really interesting.

About the Muserology conversation people have been having, though…
I went to a Berkley summer camp two years ago that I might like to write a Muserology about, but as it is a camp specifically for people in high school I’m not sure if it’s a good topic for one. Not that it would be inappropriate, but it might be less than applicable for some Muse readers. (I’m not sure if that made any sense, sorry.)
