Scariest Thing We’ve Seen All Year

Cat’s Eye sent it with the note:

I was recently surfing the Internet and I happened to stumble upon this photo. Shortly afterwards, I found out that it was taken in my area; the statue/mural in question is in San Francisco. In light of this, I thought I would send it in to be observed and recorded by the general MuseBlog community, and perhaps ask for a small prayer on my behalf.

It’s Pantone 219! Run!!!

Remember the pink Easter bunny coin banks (to raise funds for their takeover)? Remember the chillingly named “soul candy”? Remember how once upon a time the HPBs were somewhat subtle about their takeover?
There are two conclusions I can draw from this; the first is that they know we’re onto them and no longer feel the need to demean themselves by trying to be cute and avoid suspicion, the second is that they’ve gotten to the point in their takeover where secrecy is being willfully abandoned in order to subdue the public by surprise.

Either way, something must be done. Remember to keep playing/singing/humming waltzes wherever you go. Blast them loudly from your computer or sound system in your car.

    ONWARD, MUSEBLOG!

It’s actually a real rune*, but I think it wasn’t originally written in English, and translations can be very different. The ‘at Tara’ gave away that you were thinking of the version from A Swiftly Tilting Planet, though.
*I think. I read something in a book by Nancy Farmer (maybe The Land of Silver Apples?) that was so similar I’m almost positive it was a different version of the same thing, and I don’t think she’d stoop to copying L’engle so blatantly and get away with it, so I’m going to assume it wasn’t made up.

Incidentally, most of Einstein’s teachers probably didn’t find him very sharp at all. He had no interest (and therefore did not try) in any classes that involved lots of rote memorization; he did horribly at foreign languages and even failed a math class at one point. He also couldn’t talk for his first few years of school, and he had echolalia, which means he repeated everything said to him to make sure he heard it correctly. So all in all, I doubt that the average teacher would have picked up on his sharpness, although he obviously had plenty of it. Also, I’m remembering reading at one point that at least one of his teachers found him very rude, so even if that teacher did find him sharp, he probably wouldn’t have admitted it.

the scariest thing i ever seen was this show i watch sometimes called “Thriller” and one night someone was painting a picture and when his wife went into his room he had hung himself and he had just finished painting a picture of the grim reaper. then a few years later this guy had killed his grandmother and his brother so he could inherit all of thier wealth. but his grandmother owned the grim reaper picture! and after he killed his brother he looked at the painting… and the grim reaper wasn’t still in the picture!!!! and then there was a swooping sound effect the the man’s girlfriend came into the room and she said something about his throat being sliced to pieces. then she looked at the painting, and the reapers’ staff was covered with blood

7.1- I know that I myself was pretending to be semi-bunnified on the Triangular Sentences thread, but I really believe that at this point all who are not really bunnified at all should stop pretending to be so, in order to make it easier to find out the people who are. In other words, if you continue to act bunnified, I shall assume that you are and react accordingly. I’m giving you this warning because being shot with depigmentizer darts when one is not actually bunnified is presumably not very pleasant.

    7.1.2- I agree.

7.2- Now six. We have to stop this madness!

8- THEY’RE EVERYWHERE. I seem to recalls seeing two threads in the past, one implying that Japan had been taken, and another implying that Italy had. I don’t remember the names of the threads, but… THE NON-BUNNIFIED MUST BAND TOGETHER! WE SHALL PERSEVERE AGAINST THIS MENACE!

How do you explain Postcards from the Kokonspiracy, then? You can find it in the Recent Comments bar. (Most of the pictures show places that, even if they show traces of HPBs, also show signs of Kokonspirators who are presumably doing whatever they can to stop them from taking over entirely. Russia, on the other hand, is just overwhelmed with pink).
