MuseBlog’s host company, DreamHost, seems to have solved its server problems, so it looks safe to post here again.
Meanwhile, those of you who missed the overnight-and-morning excitement should know that we’ve instituted a “lifeboat blog” that MBers can move to whenever MuseBlog goes offline. Called “Muse Academy,” it’s at http://museacademy.wordpress.com. We just threw it together and made it up as we went, but it kept us all occupied and communicating when the chips were down. We’ll leave the threads open for a little while just in case.
Whew! Now let’s hope we just have ordinary MuseBlog weirdness for a while.

The blog doesn’t work if you type in the address of the blog. It only works (for me, anyway) if you go through the fan page and click the link from there.
Also, is this super secret special anti-chatroom type thing ever going to be unveiled? I know there have been many problems with the blog lately, but since the Ides and Spring have already passed…

Its debut has been slowed partially on account of The Weirdness on MuseBlog but also because March has turned out to be an unexpectedly weird month in general, leaving me very little spare time in which to complete the graphics that are a crucial aspect of the entity in progress. I am trying very hard to get it done this weekend — which for me is Sunday-Monday — although I have other obligations to fulfill on both days, so I’ll do my best.

Oaky, it’s nice to be back. I did like the little Muse Academy though, it was sort of cozy in a small way, but MB is such a sprawling place, but familiar.

It’s still a mystery, I’m afraid. Our host company’s status sites (status.dreamhost.com and www .dreamhoststatus. com) don’t say anything about problems with the three servers that most affect our account (alondra, spunky, and puss). We seem to be back to normal for the moment, but that’s all I can tell you.
