  3. I am not religious, but I think the books are cool, but I also haven’t seen the movie. In a recent National Geographic, there was an article about the different wardrobes that inspired the author. People actually paid to touch it.

  6. hey people my lb wants to say something. here goes…

CHRONICLES OF NARNIA IS A LOT LIKE LOTR!

why that is in all caps i have no idea…he just told me to do that.

oh he also has a random factoid. I’m guessing most of you know this but…

C.S. Lewis and J.R.R Tolkien were friends at skool.

this is ALL HIS POST so don’t kill me over it. I think Lotr and Narnia are way diff. I mean some stuff’s the same obviously, but it’s waaaaay different stories.

  9. I didn’t like the books of the movie. They were to annoyingly prim and proper. And dull. GOSH DARNIT, I DON’T CARE IF THE MAD SCIENTIST WAS SENDING GUINEA PIGS BACK IN TIME! RAHHH!

  13. As some of you may have noticed in the recent movie on Narnia,
Peter, I think his name was, make have a bit of explaining to do. Well at least for now. When Aslan came charging down the hill, you may have asked, “Why is he so amazed?” When Aslan slayed the White Witch?
I have found out the following,
    1. Well, he killed the White Witch.
    2. He came back when he was told he was dead.
    3. And do you remember the certain someone who was all amazed when another certain someone came charging down the hill in the second episode of LOTR? (Yes, my assumption, I found is correct, the allogories are too, Tolkien and Lewis hung out in the same pub and got some ideas. You may have noticed in the movie some similarities? Hrm?)

And please tell me you know what the allogory is? It’s SO clear!

The other movies were lame. This is the best one. Though I like the other most recent LWW’s White Witch better. Their probably doing this to get more popular movies on the run now that LOTR and Star Wars are done, and HP is almost over. (You do know she’s stopping at the 7th, right?)

And we took advantage of that extra scene where Lucy tries to go in the wardrobe and her uncle said she couldn’t now. Everybody stopped filing out and stared at the screen.

Okay, now I reveal the allogories.
the 1st, The story of Christ.
In the next book, it is King Arthur, or however you spell his name. Read it. You’ll see what I mean.
Oh yes, and there’s yet another tale interweaved in this epic plot. Anybody heard of the Snow Queen?

In the previous sequel to the series, Aslan is white, not brown. It’s kind of Vice Versa to Gandalf. He becomes white after being brown. Or I think, at least Aslan was white, it might have been some other lion. I haven’t read it in a while. Oh yes, and Aslan created Narnia, just to let you know.

Phew!!! Its hard to explain something!

  19. I am in 4th grade.I get Muse magazine too!! My teacher read us the book The Lion,The Witch, and The Wardrobe. It was awesome exept for the part that I read it already!!! It is a very good book so after we read it we went to a local play about the book. All the characters were played by 6 people and it was a musical so I guess it was pretty good,at least better than math class!!!!

  41. I hated The Last Battle. It was depressing, and dragged on, and didn’t really fit with the rest of the series that well, and the Christian dogma stuff got really overwhelming in that one. I mean, yeah, it’s there if you look for it in the others, but you can ignore it, while in TLB, it slaps you across the face and is simply overdone…

    Pie 0
    Squid 0
  42. TLB was not depressing. I liked it. I even cried at the end.

Horse and His Boy is my favorite! With Bree, who’s SO AWESOME, and even though I’m deathly afraid of horses I still loved and adored it.

Caspian is the zarking Arkleseizure. Hey, you sass Mr. Faun? He’s not all that bad either. I haven’t seen the movie yet (lynch me. Go on, do it.) but I plan to. I saw the Producers! It was hilarious!

  48. I SAW NARNIA LAST NIGHT!!! IT WAS SO GOOD! MR TUMNUS WASS SO GOOD! ASLAN WAS SO GOOD! PETER AND LUCY AND EDMUND AN SUSAN WERE SO GOOD! THE WITCH WAS SO GOOD! THEY ALL WERE SO GOOD! YYYYYEEEEEAAAA!!!!!!!!!!!!!

I loved that i was emotional and dramatic, but it wasn’t overly emotional an dramatic, or emotional and dramatic in a way that didn’t make sense. the directer wasn’t trying to make another lotr movie, and he didn’t make up a rift between edmund and his siblings, because thats not what happens in the book. it wasn’t one of those things where the rest of them say ” oh no, you betrayed us, you can’t ever come back now,” because directers tend to do that. they didn’t leave edmund standing there while they walked away with dramatic music playing. that would have driven me nuts! and the whole thing with aslan dying and coming back to life was done very well. and the mr tumnus scene. they whole thing was done very well. okay, im done now.
