looks like a theme problem? maybe if you have a theme file or stylesheet (.css file) in the new update you could replace it with one from a backup?
Probably. I’ll have to check some time when I’m not at work, but unfortunately I have classes and meetings for the next couple of nights.

Good grief, I thought I’d gone colorblind. Well, at least it’s just a glitch and not balrogs this time.
I had a handful of tabs open, and switched over to here and nearly died from shock.
I’m glad it’s only temporary. It’s not THAT bad, but it’s jarringly unfamiliar.

That was the case for me until the new format happened, and now I can’t pie or squid at all–but about the same time, I started having some issues with my mouse, so it’s possible that it’s unrelated to the format.
It’s mostly working now (although I still have to reload, like I’ve had to for a while), so I’m pretty sure it was my mouse, not the format.
For some reason (that’s my catchphrase, isn’t it?) this all reminds me of that one episode of The Mary Tyler Moore show, where Rhoda redecorated Lou’s house. My reaction is the same.
I don’t even know if anyone on here had even heard of that show, much less gets the reference.

Wow, that was a surprise. Almost reminds me of the backup MB/ Muse Academy/ whatever we’re calling it, the one we used for the blackouts.

Things are looking up! I’ve found and installed an older version of our theme with Lady Bunniful’s lovingly worked-out color palette. Much better, don’t you think?
Now to rebuild the sidebar. I still don’t know why the comment excerpts aren’t appearing in “Recent Comments.” I’ve told them to, but so far they aren’t obeying me. They must comply or face my wrath. Maybe I’ll get that fixed tonight.

It took me a remarkably long time to notice it was fixed. Probably still less than fifteen seconds, but less immediate than I’d expect.
(This entire experience felt strangely like my recent rearrangement of all my furniture.)
