As a roll call, so far this thread has been 100 percent uninformative.
13- Is it ever informative? Knowing when other people got their magazine doesn’t really help unless they live really close to you.
14 – Except that it allows ranting and complaining until you get it. That’s always a plus. Oh, and you can rub it in other people’s faces if you get it before them.
Quite frankly, I hardly care anymore. I had my subscription continued in the faint hope that it’ll get better sometime before April 2010, but I no longer look forward with eager joy to the day when Muse will arrive.

I wish I could re-read the 2005 and earlier issues. Those are what I consider the vintage ones. Stupid library system.

Mine has arrived at my home–I just have to wait for my parents to forward it on to me here at college–although when I”m going to have time to read it, I dunno. Today was the first day of class, and my analytical geometry/calc teacher gave a homework assignment of 52 (give or take one or two) probeolms, and I only finisehd those a little while ago–I still have to read geography and biology…..And my geog teacher is some chinese guy who doesn’t speak engish, and my math teacher is some russian guy or soemthing, who speaks englihs, but his accent is going to take a lot of getting used to….Anyways…..
I’m going to be gone…..so I don’t know when I’ll get mine….maybe I can ask my dad to send it to me in Wisconsin, and maybe the Cicada too……..*hopes*

33: It’s really not that bad–I was just really stressed that day, first day of college and all. I’m sure having been homeschooled since second grade made it even more stressful for me, then if I had had the “benefit” of being in public school–it is just a huge change. But I think I’ve adjusted pretty well, I don’t feel near as overwhelmed anymore.

Mine isn’t here. Should I call Carus and see where it is? It’s never come this late! Maybe the library got it instead of me….once I got a huge package, containing my magazines (at that point I got a bunch more Carus magazines) as well as the local library’s subscription………Babybug included.
Maybe I will call them, it should have been here by now.
