I would like my name added in the font that people see me as on the blog. Standard Times New Roman- whatever point. I just want to be in there. Is that possible?
(11) Actually, the blog uses a sans serif font, not Times New Roman. But as to your question, sure, I can just type it and make the text whatever size it needs to be. Do you object to color or do you want to keep it black?
I guess I can make Leafygreen one. I’ll do that when I have the chance.

Oh good, so you have mine. Rebecca, if by any chance you find the first signature I gave you (ages ago) just disregard it, I was quite pleased with the one I sent you last, and it’s darker and larger too. You can keep it black, or add a very dark blue or green if you want, it’s up to you.

The signatures are just basically the signatures of MBers, and they get put together into a collection and sold as a design in Muse-ry Loves Company.
I really want to do one, but I really don’t know how to do it on the computer and I’m a crappy artist with real media, and I’m not sure I have time to do it anyway….. I might do one, but nobody count on it.
(38) It doesn’t have to be artistic. You can just write the name with a thick Sharpie. Or type it and select a fancy font if you prefer.

46- OK. How big should I make the actual pic?
(47) Follow the link at the top of this page to the previous thread where you will find probably more information than you want.
Basically, make it big, make the lines thick. Unless you’re very familiar with pixel counts and resolution, the likelihood is that the graphic is smaller than you think it is. What I said before still holds true: no one has ever sent an image that was too large.
46–ok, I see both of my sigs there (the old and the new). You probably know this, but the one I would like used is the one with the bigger letters (with Ultimate and Pottermaniac not both on the same line). I think it’s number 10 in your album. Thanks!

42-Thanks. Mow all I need to do is decide whether I’m using a computer font or a colored pencil signature….. I’m thinking colored pencil, but we’ll have to see. I just hope I can decide before the 21st……

Okay, Lady B, would you mind helping me with this? I created my signature (on the computer), and I tried to email it to the GAPAs as an attachment, but the computer wouldn’t let me. I’m not sure exactly why, but it won’t. I tried c+ping, but that didn’t work either, because my email thing is really old and doesn’t allow anything other than plain text in the email. At this point, I’m not sure whether I should print out my signature and mail it to you or what….. Help, please!
(56) If your email won’t handle attachments, you can certainly send a print out by snail mail, and I can scan it. For best results, make sure it’s at least a couple of inches across. Larger is good. If the colors don’t print as you’d like, add a note as to how you’d like it to come out.

46~ I tried to use that link, but it is asking me for a password! I don’t have a PhotoBucket account, but I never had any trouble seeing the pictures you gave linkage to before using that site……has it changed?
53~ Of course what you do will be good enough! Just sign your name, that’s all there is to it. If you want to draw a little picture to go with it that’s fine, but by no means necessary.
(59) Midnight Fiddler, as I mentioned, the password is “woodnesse” (without quotations, of course). This difference is that this is a private album, and the others are public.

(62) The signatures on Photobucket are only those that were sent by email, and then only those which were in formats Photobucket accepts. I didn’t need to upload the others because I’ll be doing all the editing in Photoshop.

Well. I cannot send my signature because I am unable to locate the envelopes and we are not sure if pur american stamps are outdated or something. I cannot send it because the scanner is not working. so both methods are out. too bad. It was really good (please excuse my vanity but I worked really hard on it). mabe I’ll do something on paint right now and send it in.

91-Thanks. I didn’t have a problem with finding HPBs, I just had a problem with finding HPBs of the right size….. But I’ll use the image in the album for future sigs, if I make a new one.
69-(IBCF) I know this is kinda late, but that’s what I meant. I liked the stickman and bunny. But whatever, I’m not anyone to decide what people should do to their sigs…..

93-I tried, and couldn’t. The program I used is really basic (I think that’s why I couldn’t email my signature to you), and I don’t think it even has a ‘resize’ function. I’ll go check, though……

94- Try Inkscape, or GIMP!
95-Do you have to buy them, or are they downloads? I’m really clueless at this kind of stuff, though I hope to get better….
96- Both are open-source downloads, which means that they are free, and if you know how to program, you are invited to make changes and improvements. OS isn’t always as good as the commercial alternative, but they’re free, so you have something. GIMP stands for GNU Image Manipulation Tool, it’s for editing photos, like Photoshop. Inkscape is for drawing vector images, like Illustrator. It sounds like you need GIMP, but you should look into both. Osalt is a good website for finding opensource software. Does that help?

At an ungodly hour last night, my signature was sent. (I lost my flash drive, but the calligraphic version seems pretty good.)
Well, the deadline has come and gone. I hope everyone was able to get ens in on time.
I can’t wait to see the finished product! It’ll be a good thing to ask for for my birthday, since I don’t know what to ask for, apart from a tablet.
