Gimanator happened to be in town for a concert, so we got Chinese food and talked for a while about art and life. Unfortunately I didn’t remember the tradition until we were about to part, so this image is the only extant documentation of the event.

Annnnd finally here to verify as well! Glad to say that my first kokonvention (after… oof, eight and a half years?) was a wonderfully surreal experience. My 15 year old self would be ecstatic, to say the least. POSOC in person is just as intelligent, friendly, and pleasant a person as he is here, and twice as well spoken. Like, impressively, impressively eloquent.
Here’s toasting to the world of Museblog growing a bit closer together off the internet!
Also, ask him about the sci-fi novel he’s working on, which sounds really cool.
I’m glad I came across as eloquent. Gimanator is a very thoughtful and warm individual who asked me a lot of perceptive questions. I’m afraid I didn’t know enough about his areas of interest to hold up my end of the conversation, but I learned we had some themes and preoccupations in common! Unfortunately I was not able to show him the campus to its best effect, as it got dark very quickly.
People who know more about music and philosophy should definitely talk to him.
I never imagined you with long hair.
I’ve been growing it out for a few months. Gim’s is actually longer, just tied back in the photo.
