   Generation correction puts me in Gen. 9. Hmmm, interesting.

   I’d like to ask this again, if it wouldn’t be too much trouble.
   Could the raw data be perhaps posted in google docs spreadsheet? That would allow any of us to access your work for future use, in case it does become a bit much.

    Wow! I went from Gen 10 to Gen 8. Doesn’t have quite the same ring, but I like it better. I think Pan deserves many gross of pies.

    I said this on the previous thread, but I’m not sure if everyone saw. The biggest week in MuseBlog history was Week 32 (Mar 6-12 06), which had 42 neophytes!

    Fiddler (15): You came during Week 58. FrigidSymphony came during Week 57.

    Nthanda (18): I’m not sure exactly how long, but many, many hours. I’m sure there was an easier way to put every blogger into the excel sheet in chronological order, but I couldn’t figure out how to do it, so I typed everyone in individually.

    Piggy (20): Some of the generations moved around a bit from the previous ones. I took a graph of the generations and grouped together the different waves and spikes, which is different from Alice’s method, which was (I think) just broken up by time.

    25: The gaboomba was a sort of extra fan page that still has a lot to offer if you poke around. Anyway, in the days before Museblog people made do with the Gaboomba message board, and that’s what people mean when they say Gaboomba. A more valid definition can be found in HGTM.

    Hmmm. I’m officially in Gen 13 but had been lurking since Gen 12… Yippee day! I still thought I was a neophyte until a couple of weeks ago when I looked in my journal entry from last year and it said: “I’ve been reading all of my Muse back issues and I really want to go to the blog!” Dated January 9, 2008, it was when I first began lurking. Ah, memories… I read the entire Sea Roc, all three threads of it and my eyes got really tired.

    Hooray! Haven’t seen one of these in a while. This made me look back at myself in the who’s here. I wonder, because of all the misspellings that I have look like name changes, will someone who is randomly browsing through there(I don’t know why) take the names as ones I wore for a while? I hope not. (sorry for being so random)

    I’m gen 16. THAT RECENT?!?

    For some reason I thought I was gen 15, maybe because I think I might have started lurking then. But my first post was December 21st, or possibly the 22nd, what with the whole time-zone thing. It just took me forever to find said post, so I can’t be bothered checking the time of it.

    Interesting how bookgirl, YodaShmoda, teseract, the mole, etc are only gen 15.

      Hm. Reading through the list, there are numerous people who I simply refuse to believe haven’t been on MB for all that long. Like, well, you and Tesseract, for example. And, of course, there are people who have been around a while who I refuse to believe haven’t been on here for more than a few months. Funny how that works.

      I don’t suppose Pan is keeping this list updated. Could I renew the request in post 3?

    73- I’m not on either. I came almost two months after this was written. Don’t worry, I’ll probably write the next few months up sometime when I’m bored.
    74- I count five, including you, actually. I guess Cat’s Eye isn’t on much, but I’m fairly sure I’ve seen en. The Mole isn’t on much either, but I think en posted a week or two ago. There’s also Cerulean Pyros, and Tesseract.

      I only counted those who posted in the last month or so… Strange, I didn’t see the mole this time around. That would probably account for it, since I didn’t count myself.

      74.1- Strange, when I first came on, I thought that you’d been on longer… Go generation 15! *repeats*

      21- The muse contest in march 2006 was to take an online test about biases, then post about it on MB. That’s why there were so many ‘phytes. It would be interesting to see how many stuck around. Looking at the names (the contest “winners” were shown in the September 2006 issue which I’m looking at right now), I can only recognize ebeth. (*is a proud muse subscriber since July/August 2003, with occasional breaks in between*) The magazine sure looked different back then…
