Wow, I got mine 2 days ago when I wasn’t expecting it…
What exactly is the purpose of this thread? I mean, it usually turns out to be people just complaining abut how incredibly long it takes for their beloved Muse to reach their mailbox, or just saying that they will be waiting at their mailboxes day and night until that dratted postman comes with their much desired magazine.
((That took me an incredibly long time to type, because I’m on my Dad’s laptop and his keyboard is weird.))
We GAPAs are curious about whether people in any part of the country regularly get their issues earlier or later than others do. And if your issue is misdelivered, it’s easier to find out if you know that others have already received theirs.
Ever since I’ve got other mags. from carus pub. I have been getting them earlier…. I got my issue of muse yesterday…

Grrrrrrrr. I don’t even have my February yet. Must ask parents if they’ve gotten it and just haven’t sent it on yet, or if it is not even arrived at home yet. Because if it is the latter, that is late, even compared to normal (normal is it doesn’t arrive at home until the 13th or 14th, or thereabouts).
Of course, come to think of it, I haven’t even finished my January issue…….oops. I blame school.

(14) Not necessarily. The magazine is edited in Chicago, but it isn’t printed there, and it isn’t mailed from the printing plant. And some mail routes may be more efficient than others. That’s what we’re curious about.
15–well, mine are ALWAYS late. I think the earliest they’ve ever come is the 10th of the month, more often closer to the 20th. Is that helpful?

16- Somehow, I get the feeling that living outside of the 48 contiguous states has something to do with that.
19–Possible. Although, it really doesn’t take that much longer for mail to get there. I mean, when my mom mails me packages, except for the (all-too-common) occasions when the PO is being unusually slow/brutal to my packages, they usually get down here in 3-4 days, which I wouldn’t think would explain why my Muse is two weeks late. But it could, certainly, contribute to the delay…..
20- Hm, that’s interesting. I suppose it has something to do with the mailing system, and personal items vs. commercial and whatnot… *falters* … *wrings hands around in uncertain motion*
Mine came today.
Dad held it up to my window and said, “Hey, this came in the mail. I think I’ll just take it in the house and read it if you don’t mind……you’re busy doing homework anyway!”
My reply was a hoarse screech and violent protestations, along the lines of “Oh no you don’t, gimme it NOW!!!!!”
I know what happens when he steal my magazines before I get to them……I don’t get them back!
I guess it’s a good thing that my parents like Muse, but it’s annoying when I can’t find my issues because they’ve taken them to read.

Grrr. Mine probably came, because I got my Odyssey already. Yes, my mom got me Odyssey, even though I showed no intention of wanting another magazine. She’s crazy sometimes.
I’ll get it back on Tuesday!
Anyway, mom probably took my Muse becasue I have a ton of homework this week.

I got my FEBRUARY Muse! Of course, that probably arrived a week or two ago, and mom just didn’t get to sending it to me until now, but……Must finish the January one, so I can start this one.

I got my March Muse on friday. That was a HUGE suprise. I generally don’t get it until about the middle of the month, so getting it before the month even began was great!
