Pentatonkikk (#23) I organized all the MuseBloggers in order of when they first started posting, and then I graphed all the dates on a line graph. Like, if two new people came on one day, that date was graphed at two. So by looking at how the line went up and down, spiked, and things like that, I was able to see the distinct wave patterns in how people came. I divided up the waves into generations. Simple as that.

I was a lurker. Hence my name. Fortunately, i’ve been recently rehabilitated, although lately i’ve been having lapses…i read all those comments and then get Called Away before i can post (ok ok…put some down to sheer laziness then. If you must. But most of the time i get Called Away) Although i missed the first month of the blog, due to…um…i dunno i just didn’t get on for a while between them. Bad timing. *slap* Oh well.

When a new generation starts is not determined by a certain time period. When I graphed out the flux and flow of newbies, I was able to see wave patterns. Every wave was a new generation. So we can’t just sit here and say that a new generation has started, we have to watch the flow and see what happens over a period of time.

You could send it to them the old-fashioned way, to the Q&A address. If the address will send stuff to the GAPA. Then they could scan it in to their computer and put it on the blog. I don’t know how they get the questions anyway. Maybe the editors send them to them.

Of course, I’ve never written a letter to Muse either, although I had a letter that I wrote printed in there.

Figure that one out, everyone.

(see, what happened was after I got the mag about optical illusions, I wrote a long post about it to the Gaboomba, and I guess Robert fowarded it to the mag or something. If I’d known it would be printed, I’d have edited. And put in a few shameless plugs for this page. etc.)

Jadestone- you are gen 4, it is by first post. wait did you post on the Gamboomba ever? because then you would be a gen 0 who disapeared until gen 4. If you posted regularily on the gaboomba then came here at gen 4 then you are gen 0. If you posted once on the gaboomba then came her on gen 4 then you are gen 4.

IMPORTANT NOTICE:

It seems there are somewhere around 224 bloggers (not counting the adults) on the ‘Who’s here?’ section at the present moment.

I might be off by a few.

But that’s not the point.

The point, is that it’s given me a brilliant idea.

Larry Gonick told us on the ‘Muse movie?’ section, to keep sending letters, so let’s all send letters big time.

I counted on the calender, and it seems there are 40 Sundays left this year.

224 x 40 = 8,960.00

Just imagine it.

If we all pitch in, and each send one e-mail, begging for a Muse movie, each Sunday, till the end of 2006, the editors won’t know which way to turn.

NOW THAT’S POLITICS PEOPLE!

Haha. I’m part of the legendary FORTIETH generation, a small, otherwise unheard of group of MuseBlog fanaticsthat doesn’t even exist yet. Kind of like El Chupacabra (Mexican Bigfoot), or a movie where Jennifer Lopez is a good actress. Anywhozafizzle, the fortieth generation is comprised of a few manga-crazed jalapeno-devouring fantasy-writing loonies, and has drawn off all admissions until the REAL fortieth generation poofs into actual existence many years from now.
