The Bookworm & Lurline (410 pp and 3 b-dp and 42 KAGp!)
in June 13th, 2009 @ 07:55It was great fun! We met at the Bostion Science Museum at “4:30,” although because of rush-hour we didn’t really get started until more like 5:30. Present were RoseQuartz, Armada, MissSwann, Sequoia, Electros, SudoRandom, and myself. We walked around the museum, saw exhibits, ate, etc. I’ll send some pics later once permission is taken.

Sequoia: And Armada found a model of a sequoia tree trunk, and we took pics that I’ll send once I’m home. It was lots of fun! Everyone looked a lot different than I thought they would be.

4- (Re:bunnies) True. They’re everywhere.
Gods, I had to endure a two-hour-long car ride with electros and my little sister doing improv skits about blowing up HPBs the whole time…. getting to the museum was such a relief.
(Re: people’s looks) Yeah, I know. Actually Bookworm was kind of how I imagined him, but a lot shorter. Electros thought for the whole kokon that he was the only boy there….
Poor guy.

And yes, I was supposed to get home tomorrow. I woke up with a stomach bug.
The “speen” picture deleted from my phone for some reason, but I do have… *runs to check* the plastic skeleton thingy that was under the screen with the animated stuff… you know, in X-rays, right by “touch at your own risk?” *sniggers* I did warn you, you know. I think. Or maybe I didn’t.
And I also have the lunchbox X-ray.My dad has some pix of us reading Muse by the sculpture– I think there was one that got all of us. There sure were a lot of us. He also has some of the dinner table.
Oh, and I have those videos… the one of everyone at the table, and the one of Electros that I actually managed to get. Before he put the popcorn bag over his face.

At the human body/ways to see inside exhibit, there was this display about cancer, and these blue rubber things you were supposed to feel to see if they had lumps in them. So SudoRandom did, and RoseQuartz neglected to tell him until afterwards that it was a display about breast cancer. ‘Twas hilarious.

If they are, you inform them that you’d like to go, then have one of your parental units email the GAPAs at gapa @ musefanpage . com (without the spaces, obviously). If no-one is doing one near you, then ask if anyone lives in [insert your state here] or anywhere else you’ll be sometime when you might be able to have a kokon. Then cross your fingers and wait.
Oh, and I forgot to tell you this, but when you email the GAPAs they hook you up with the parents of the other Kokonventioneers.

He’s been here almost as long as I have, only posting less and taking long breaks. I believe Armada introduced him to the blog, so he neglected to post on the ‘phytes thread, went straight to BA:TNG and stayed there.

in June 21st, 2009 @ 19:40Re: electros–He was introduced to the blog by me last November and has never, so far as I know, posted anywhere other than BA:TNG or the Mary Sue RPG–he claims all the other threads are too “boring”. He did take something like a five-month break, from February to just before the kokon, and hadn’t been posting all that much even before that. He posts as ‘electro’ on the Mary Sue thread, for reasons unknown.
And GAPAs, his mom did email you permission yesterday. Can you please post the pics?
Oh, BTW, does anyone here remember Widget45 and wizzy the wise guy? I’m thinking of bugging them back onto the blog, though I’m not sure if I’ll go through with it….

And the GAPAs have a really good privacy policy, so it’s unlikely that a non-participating stalker would choose this blog out of all the others where personal info is actually allowed to stalk people on.
