WOW, I’m in awe of the almighty powers of the bunnies! Those are seriously hypnotic if you look at them long enough! This just made my Easter day very much more interesting.

*is put into a deep trance by the bunnies*
*is commanded to spraypaint bunnies all over house*
*a bit of drool escapes from mouth while bowing to supreme bunny ruler*
*becomes supreme bunny ruler’s human puppet*
Hmm, these were made on Photoshop/PSP, I presume? Very nice! That’s some quality rendering and editing.
Used to hate “pinkus bunnyloverus”, but now I’m 1 of them.
At least some of them are vector graphics made with Corel Draw. The sublime Ms. L. says she can blow them up to the size of a house without distortion. (A bunny as big as a house–it boggles the mind!)
Oooh, yeah, that makes sense.
*mind is boggled*

excuse me? i was a hpb and the queen of the hpbs, for a short while. it was a good career move. it was also ebeth’s fault, darn you, ebeth.
Gasp…no…at last I see we’ve lost all hope…
Does anyone even remember exactly WHY we HAVE those hideous pink rodents?
Hello, NG13. Welcome to the blog!
If Bo were around, she would undoubtedly tell you that rabbits aren’t rodents: they’re lagomorphs.
Yessir! I do sir! Lessee… februrary ’03. ‘k? muse mail. germ warefare. some idiot muser. named emma, or emily, or something.
Theresa D., page 6. The bunnies started on page 44.
Simply had to step out from the lurking mists to say how honored I am to have found favor with such an impressively insane group of people.
Also, I can attest first hand to the hypnotic power of hot pink bunnies. I really only meant to make the one to replace the sadly pixellated version Robert posted recently. Once the bunny force became activated, however, resistance was futile.
Can you put a big picture of Kokopelli on here too, so I can make a sticker of him? (Or can you tell me where to find a picture) – the one on the front page always turns upside-down whenever I click on him, attempting to copy & paste him…
Where, may I ask, is a bunny decorated with skulls? I see a distinct lack of a bunny-skull-bunny-skull-bunny-skull-bunny-skull pattern here. Hello?
Are these bunnies acceptable for use as stickers? One is on the MUSE flag outside my CIC.
HPBs should look where they’re going before they cross…

(X.X)
(===)======================
hello, NG13! we like the bunnies. they are most definately not hideous!
i made stickers….or, rather, printed hpbs out and taped them to stuff….
*drools more*
PP (42),
How’s this?
Thanks!!!
Bunnies bunnies bunnies! Wheee! I tip my hat (If I have one which I don’t) to Rebecca: the Bunny Master.
Awesome bunnies!
43, Queen J (if I may be so bold as to address Your Highness in such familiar fashion): thank you for calling my attention to this grievous oversight. Remedy must wait however until I have painted my way past current deadlines. Further corrections and/or suggestions always welcome.
To clear up any possible confusion, I hereby assign comprehensive sticker reproduction rights (not restricted as to variety of adhesive), along with all dartboard and landscaping rights to the above-posted Hot Pink Bunny designs to all Musers in perpetuity. (Signed and sealed and baked in a pie.)
Dahling Rebecca, these are simply exquisite. Spiffy. Froody. Shiny. Ooooooo…
(And OEAD: I’m on dial-up, and they loaded fine for me. Faster than a lot of stuff does, to tell you the troooooth.)
did anyone see the curse of the were-rabbit? did you see the hpb at the end?
YAY A BUNNY THREAD!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
we have bunnies in our yard and when u walk out there they run off. but they’re not cool cuz they’re not HOT PINK!!!!!!!!!!!
Oooh! Spin the bunny!
Poor bunny.
This is so creative! I love it! I’m creating a bunny wall in my bedroom. Mwahahahaha!
Wouldn’t that be more appropriate for a dungeon? (NO, NO, NOT THE BUNNY WALL…)
*dresses bunny up in new coture oufits it made me buy*
*stands in an utterly mystified state, drooling……….*
AAAAH!! Wow, glad that’s over! I’m free, free to do as I please! *bunny ruler shows me artwork again*
Yes, your Wonderful Pinkness. I will obey…
*bows down to lovely, sweet bunny, appauled at what the rebellious statements I made earlier*
*stares at the bunnies even more*
Brilliant! I always thought the pink bunnies were cute but then you looked at them and they seemed a little creepy… but now they’re hypnotic! Speaking of bunny art I did make a hot pink bunny egg. It was cool (:
Hey! The bunies are all messed up…And I was going to make stickers too…*sniffsob*
Huh. Now there not, I guess it jut took extra-long to load. But they were all overlaping before…whew.
hehehehehehehehehehehehehehehehe
bunnies have hypnotic effects
I shall frame them and send them to the Louvre in your name!
63, L’exposition Les lapins roses vifs au Louvre. Yes, I can see it now. Hordes of French people and tourists succumbing to the hypnotic powers, lining up behind Gwendolyn, following in lock step to a couturier . . . Otzi, you’re brilliant, I think you’re on to something. Next the Prado, the Tate, the Hermitage, and beyond. World domination in no time.
Oh, but think of the drool.
47- YAY!
SRetc. (62),
Yes. There’s more than one way to conquer the world.
w00t!!!!!
my bedroom walls are covered with horse posters… maybe i should put these bunnies up instead…
since i don’t celebrate my religion (what is my religion :-?) i will now worship hpb

68-I wouldn’t sleep at all in that room, with all the horses looking at me, all night, with their weird teeth…aaaaaaaahhhhhhhh! I’m afraid of horses.
i made stickers. they seriously scare my sister.
I have made my own modifications of bunnies. they arent as rad as reebecca’s, but they areOK. Can I PWEEEEEEEEEZZZZ have some way to post them?
Ok, tired of being bunny hypno victim. I wanna help take over the world!
o.0 the bunnies are cool. on the topic of bunnies, GAPA, your former HPB is demanding a friend. lock your bunnies up before the Insane One gets to ’em.
BUNNIES!!!!!
Those bunnies are all the awesomest things alive. Or… the awesomest virtual things in internet land. Something like that.
THAT IS TOTALLY WICKED!!!!!!!!!!!How did you create those bunnies? LiveStrong!
Kokopelli #13, all of them were created as vector graphics in Corel Draw. I drew the one plain bunny and from that point simply followed orders from the Great Pink Consciousness, using such tools as blend on a path, distort, contour, and image spray.
Image spray involved the most work to set up, especially since I’d never tried it before — it’s works like virtual spray paint. Pages and pages of bunnies. In a click or two. This is obviously a dangerous weapon and must be handled with care.
Last time I looked, bunnies occupied 143 MB of my hard drive.
Yikes. Amazing what you can do with a computer, isn’t it? Oh, and one more thing:
HELP! EVIL AND DERANGED (I don’t know what deranged means, but it doesn’t sound very good.) BUNNIES ARE TAKING OVER MUSEBLOG! FIRST IT WAS THE MAGAZINE, NOW IT’S THE MUSE BLOG, NEXT THE WORLD, AND THEN oooh, are those pancakes?
I like the next to last bunny best.
Woah, kokopelli #13, no Live Strong? Are you ill?
Freaky!!! That’s really cool.
shweet!!!!!
And yet we still can’t make a bunny like the smily faces. We ARE BACK IN TEH DARK AGES!!!!!!!!!!
Oh, we could. But it would take me all afternoon, and I don’t have that much spare time.
Come to think of it, that could be why people stayed in the Dark Ages so long. “Reinvent civilization, science, and culture? Good idea, but I’m too busy right now. Maybe after the harvest…”
(57.) Ha ha. I can see it now… the perfect torture room. The Comfy Chair, The Total Perspective Vortex and the Wall of Bunnies.
And then, at the end of it all, the chronosynclastic infundibulum. (Fifty bunny points to Ravenclaw for anyone who can identify it.)
i’m in griffindor
INFUNDIBULUM
A funnel-shaped cavity.
It’s the Latin word for a funnel, derived from infundere, “to pourâ€, plus the ending –bulum which formed the names of instruments. In English, it turns up in various anatomical contexts for something funnel-shaped. For example, in the human body it describes the outermost section of the fallopian tubes, a structure in the cochlea of the ear, and a formation in the brain close to the pituitary, among others. Science-fiction fans may have come across the splendid phrase chronosynclastic infundibulum that was invented by Kurt Vonnegut in The Sirens of Titan, which he explained, perhaps less than helpfully, as being “those places … where all the different kinds of truths fit togetherâ€. The plural is infundibula and the adjective these days is usually infundibular, but others such as infundibuliform and infundibulate have also been used from time to time.
okay, I admit. I googled it.
PotAV (88),
I think not.
Otzi (89),
Hm. Twenty-five bunny points to Ravenclaw, then. I like donating to Ravenclaw.
smart plan
i like the beardsly bunny.
squeeeeet!
I JUST GOT BUNNY STICKERS!!!!!!! THANK YOU SAMANTHA!!!!
79-Mentally unstable and insane. Like the eco-terrorist in the Hiaasen book I’m reading, Sick Puppy.
78-Ms. Lasley, would that be possible with the Adobe Illustrator program I have? I think I need to work on Phase 2 of the World Domination By Bunny Torture Project.
89-Fr00-d33. The chronosynclastic infundibulum is both a fun phrase to ‘what was THAT?!?’ your friends with. If I ever acquire a gerbil, I’ll name it Chronosynclastic Infundibulum. Chronin for everyday conversation, I think. I am writing this uber-froody phrase somewhere it is obvious to all in the immed
Yes, Your Royal Highness, I believe Illustrator can answer all your world-domination needs. The reference I consulted is for version 10.
The Blend tool seem to be essentially identical to what I used. It’s located both in the toolbox and in a submenu under Objects. If you want an effect like Spin the Bunny, draw the spiral separately then use Objects>Blend>Replace Spine. (StB consists of the two control bunnies plus 95 steps.)
To make something similar to Bunny by Numbers, create a Symbol, then shower the page with them using Symbol Sprayer. They can then be contained within a larger bunny shape by making a clipping mask (Layers palette).
Neon Bunny & Op Art 1 are the same image, one is filled, one is outlined. I couldn’t find an exact counterpart to the contour tool I used, but it draws concentric duplicates of the object
either inside or outside, and you can approximate the effect by stacking a smaller, lighter object and a larger, darker one, then blending them with lots of steps. You’ll have to tweak your shapes a bit.
The Liquefy tool (not included before Illustrator 10) seems to be made in the same spirit as the distortion effect I used for all the other bunny variations. To give you some ideas: Op Art
2 is simply the background of Pop Goes the Bunny. Beardsley Bunny contains at least half a dozen layers, each in turn consisting of one to twenty individual HPBs. (I made the swirly group of the “skirt” first. It reminded me of Beardsley’s graphics, so I just followed the lead. Even thought about doing a whole series in the styles of different artists but came to my senses in the nick of time.)
Hope this helps. At your service should you need further clarification.
Best of luck with your torture project! uh, wait, that didn’t sound quite right. Cheerio, then.
What program are you talking about?
I liked those bunnies so much, I put them on my Xanga.
I just realised: If you stick your finger in the middle of the bunny, it turns into a butterfly!
Very good…anybody else have an interesting fact, class?
I love bunnies!!! (especially when they’re make of Choklit!!)
I was going to ask gwen by the sea if i could join her in being hypnotized, but now I want to help with Mostly Harmless……….Mwa ha ha………will any one help me?Hellooooooooooo………anyone out there?Post something if you will be recruited.

whoa…
AAAAAAARGH!!!!!!!!!Otzi, did you mean to be on the dissing Mr.Joe thread?
BUNNIESSSSSS!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
yaaaaaaaaaaaaaaay!!!!!!!
coooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooolio.
Those ROCK to no end!! I’ve made Frank the Bunny (for those of you who have seen Donnie Darko) and Freddie the Flaming Bunny (meant with endless love) on the Easter eggs this year.
HAIL THE HOT-PINK BUNNIES!! They’re TOTALLY anti-discrimination, even if in the process represent WAR and RIVALRY between Musers and eat up entire letters. So in a way, they symbolise both war and peace.
Interesting, that is.
Also, I am LOVING my HPB stickers I recieved a while ago!! When I get a new amp, guitar case and IF I get a car they are going on them all. The rest I’m keeping on the paper just to worship the two-face symbol of the century.
I
I pu tone of my HotPinkBunny stickers on my computer, so whenever I sit down at it, I look at the bunnnnnnnnnnneeeeeeeeeeee…….
*is drawn towards pinkness*
“No- must re-ss-sisssssttttt b-uunnn”
*becomes zombie servant*
“Wha-at may I d-oo f-o-or yooooooooooooooooo, O-oh g-g-re-eat bb-unn-y mmmast-ter?????” *speaks slowly and jerkily with no pupil in her eyes like Krum in the maze in HP 4*
Does anyone remember my “How to make Hot Pink Bunny Stickers” post? I’ve decided to post it again now that you’ve revived interest.
Does anyone know where it is?!? I think it was on a random thread somewhere. But then I thought I might have put i ton the Muse How To’s thread, so I looked there and read the whole thing, but it wasn’t there. YAARRGGG!!!! Help me!!
OH! OH! OH! I found it! It was on the HTML And Other Computer Tricks thread! YAY!
What is a sticker?
A sticker is a little picture that had sticky glue-stuff on the back that causes it to stick to things.
How do I make them?
You just print out a pretty little picture and run it through your sticker machine. If you don’t have a machine, tough luck. Here’s a little recipe that works almost as well:
You need: 4 tbs hot water
2 tbs flavored gelatin powder
Pour the gelatin into a small glass bowl, add water and stir until blended.
Brush the mixture onto the back of your sticker.
Allow to set for 30-45 minutes or until dry.
When you’re ready, wet the back and stick it!
Okay, there you go!
Where do I get the pictures?
First, go to https://musefanpage.com/blog/?p=227, the Boosting Muse thread, and copy the hpb pictures that Bobby was so nice to post for us. Use them. And, find some images online of Kokopelli. It shouldn’t be hard. Collect other Muse-related pictures, such as the Muses, pie, and the Muse logo.
Note: You have lots of good HPB images here, but the Boosting Muse thread has the original sticker. It’s good to have.
What should I do with the images?
Leave the hpb ones as they are. With the Kokopelli picture, paste him into a writing document on your computer. Type Kokopelli 4 Prezzy! or Vote For Koko! underneath in a Muse-ish font. Make up some things to write with the others. If you find a picture of Pwt, make a Pwt Pwns sticker with her/him on it. If you don’t have a pic of Pwt, just do the words.
For stickers without images, just type in a text box. MUSE and MOSTLY HARMLESS are good ideas.
How did some Musers get hpb stickers?
They wrote in to Muse at:
Muse Magazine
Attention: Samantha Sordyl
140 S. Dearborn Street, Suite 1450
Chicago, IL 60603
Send a self-addressed and stamped envelope, and you’ll get some stickers!
That should be all. If you have any questions, raise your hand.
2 i agree my head rilly huuuurts…………….

WOWWOWWOW! Very nice bunnies! YAY!
Thanks, Red-tailed HAWK! That was my first appearance on MuseBlog — wow, almost a year ago — little did I know then . . . .
