If the Muses enrolled at Hogwarts, where would the Sorting Hat assign them?
This is for a Fan Page project, to be unveiled in the fullness of time. For now, you know the Muses (in alphabetical order: Aeiou, Bo, Chad, Crraw, Feather, Kokopelli, Mimi, Pwt, and Urania). You know the houses (Gryffindor, Hufflepuff, Ravenclaw, and Slytherin). Who goes where? Opinions, please.
(MuseBloggers are all Ravenclaws, of course.)

Chad is Ravenclaw, Bo is Hufflepuff or Griffindor.
Aeiou is another Ravenclaw, Pwt si Hufflepuff, Mimi is Griffindor, maybe Ravenclaw or Hufflepuff, Crraw is Slytherin (He probably loves “Weasley Is Our King”).
Seems strange to split up Pwt and Crraw. But maybe they could wind up on opposing Quidditch teams.
YES! Pwt will be a Beater, and he/she will chase Crraw around with a beater club….Muahahahhaha…
Pwt’s hard to categorize, but I don’t think he’s a Hufflepuff. Pwt has charactaristic of both Slytherin and Gryffindor… but I’m leaning toward the second seeing as he has a lot of spirit and determination. He’s been after Craaw for such along time.
I don’t really feel like a Ravenclaw myself, but Luna Lovegood is a Ravenclaw, and she reminds me of myself in all the worst ways.

Mimi is really hard to place, but I’d probably put her in Hufflepuff.
I’m not sure about Kokopelli’s house for at times he plays the hero and at other times, the villain. Anyone know of a house for the split personalities?
I’m guessing Gryffindor for Koko, because I don’t think he’s really malicious , just.. nasty. or something. and Gryffindor does seem to have it’s share of tricksters, like Gred and Forge…
And Bo is definently Hufflepuff.

Slytherin is just a house for crafty, tricky people, not nessesarily mean ones. Four houses isn’t enough! I am brave, pretty smart, and never tell lies if I can help it. I don’t have good social skills, idealistic, and overzealous about fantasy. Sometimes I have a bit of a hard time seperating reality from fantasy (I’m not, like, crazy or anything, I just use fantastical ways to calm myself down, figure out if Polgara could generate a force field, work out the genetic makeup of dragons {they are possible, you know}, stuff like that) I am good with languages, bad with dates and mental math, bad at making conclusions but good at analysis. I dont hold grudges if an apology is made, and I have a hard time admitting to be wrong. I am headstrong, talkative, can be willfully stupid, and I am stubburn. WHat house am I in? rating people is not so easy.

I don’t think JKR meant Hufflepuffs to be stupid, though the house certainly seems to be a grab bag. I’d say Feather is a Hufflepuff because he’s the nicest Muse. Mimi may be good at getting along with people, but she’s a little calculating. I suspect her of Slytherin tendencies.

31 – Hufflepuffs aren’t dumb. They’re loyal, friendly, hard-working, good-natured people, and that fits Feather just about perfectly. Hufflepuff took all of the witches and wizards that the other three didn’t want. Also, Feather is muse of plants, and the head of house is the Herbology teacher, so that would fit, wouldn’t it?
According to the sorting hat, Slytherin is for those with great ambition. And of course, it would never say, “Slytherin is for the mean people,” but Kokopelli, well, sometimes he is mean. AND he has great ambition. But he’s also very brave. So he should be in Slytherdor.
