If any of you Virginians have been thinking about nagging your parents into getting PWT PWNS personalized license plates for the family car, I have bad news: you can’t. Because I just did.
That’s right. When my new tags arive about four weeks from now, I’ll be spreading awe and bewilderment every time I take to the road. Go thou and do likewise. And wave if you pass me on I-395.

Boss license plates, GAPA. Absolutely boss. You’ll have to post pictures somewhere on here when they come. I never really understood why there are more personalized plates in Virginia, but there’s probably one Muser or another who knows and will tell poor, ignorant me.

Personalized plates are popular in Virginia because they’re cheap: just $10 a pair. I think other states charge a lot more.

CY,
When I search for “Pwt pwns”, I put the whole phrase in quotation marks so Google will count only instances of that exact sequence of letters (“Pwt ” followed by “pwns”). Whole-phrase searches eliminate the random pages that have pwns somewhere and an unconnected pwt somewhere else.

64 – I second that request. Too bad I’m not in Virginia to see it in person! I’m in Kentucky and I think it’s around $25 for a custom license plate. My parents refuse to pay, but when I get my own car I’ll definitely look into getting a “PWT PWNS” license plate of my own.
