I hate going first, I’m never quite sure of what to do. Was that an okay move?
I think so!
Um, peary moppins? I believe it’s your turn? Sorry, I know I’m impatient.
Sorry Pseudo! I had rehearsal.
It’s totally fine! I’m just excessively impatient.
I’m a horrible chess player…you might have noticed. I don’t play much. The last game I played resulted in Keiffer stealing all the other player’s pieces…this illustrates my chess career pretty well.
Ha. Nice. Laughing out loud. Nice avatar, Pseudo.
Hahaha, you’re not bad. I tried this “chess club” thing last year and got defeated by a third grader
I think this is a check…i think the one with the spikes is a king. I hope its a king.
OH NO ITS A QUEEN.
Ugh.
[expletive]
Never mind about the check thingy…wAit. If thats a queen….you can…oh, cake.
peary,
I’ll erase your move this once. Mistaking a queen for a king is pretty fundamental.
Not only that, but a little….. umm…….. in nice terms………. special…….or not bright….
THANK YOU ROBERT!
Psuedo??
Sorry…I was kicked off the Internet for a while.
Do we announce it when the other person’s in check? (Which I don’t think you are, by the way.)
I think so.
augh. I have lost both of my knights.
peary: But you have both of your bishops. That’s good. Bishops are usually slightly stronger than knights, especially if two of them work together.
I just realized that I spent a lot of time chasing that bishop. Oh well.
(After 24. Ra2…)
peary is playing very aggressively. This is an exciting position!
*cackles evilly*
Oh noes.
I can’t seem to remember my battle plan!
*squints at chessboard*
I believe that’s a check…
I’m not sure if that was the right move, but all the other moves I thought of seemed to result in my bishops being killed/eaten/taken.
Hmm…are chess pieces cannibalistic?
*ponders*
Well, in Harry Potter I think they are smashed…
There’s an idea: edible chess sets! That could result in some extremely active games.
“Active games.” That probably has a different definition for Keiffer and me than most people.
Heehee…
*sneaks a chocolate pawn into her mouth*
It’s Pseudonym’s turn to move.
I somehow get the feeling that was a very, very bad move. *sigh*
No, it’s not bad…at least right now I can do nothing to your king.
Ahh, those pawns are bothering me.
If only a queen could jump like a knight.
That was check, wasn’t it?
If you’re talking about Black’s 28th move, Qb5+, yes, it was check. (The plus sign means check in this kind of chess notation.)
Ugh. This move requires some more thought….
Hm, I feel like that was a trap, but I don’t see how it could be….
Oh cake. I did not see that coming.
*thinks*.
OK, I believe thats a check.
GAAAAH!
Im not sure if I should really think about this or just eat everything in sight.
If you don’t think at least a little, you’re more likely to throw everything away.
Check?
Oh god. I have a bad feeling about this.
That’s weird…I could’ve sworn I’d just moved.
Check.
Hm….weird. I don’t recall having this few pieces. *bad memory*
Hahaha, same. My “army” has been reduced to a few pawns, a king and queen and rooks. Oh, and a lone bishop!
I find it kinda amusing how we’ve been playing for 4 months.
Four months?! Wow, that’s a long time.
34.1) Yup!
I think thats a wrap then. Good game, Pseudo!
You too. Good job!
