Attention, 13-year-old Musers!
The cover story on this week’s Time magazine (August 8, 2005) is a Special Report called “Being 13,” described as “a close look inside the mysterious and often confounding world of the 13-year-old.” Guess what: you’re fascinating. Enjoy your week of fame.
Well, ok, Im kinda cheating, cuz my bday’s on the 27th, and I’ll be 14. But I because I am 13 and 11 months, plus whatever no. of days, I HAVE THE EXPERIENCE.
I just want to say that being 13 is HARD. But look at me, I’ve made it through with my sanity. Sort of.
I was 13… but now I’m not. But I made it through quite sanely! At the age of thirteen I: went to Costa Rica, finished The Lord of the Rings, had been getting Muse for 4 years and many other things
By the way I started getting Muse in 1999 so if you do the math then you know how old I am now.
This is the last day I qualify.
Morbid —
Some people manage to stay mysterious and confounding to age 14 and beyond. I wouldn’t worry too much.
Thanks for making the headers, by the way. I rushed ahead on my own when I thought the magazine was about to send legions of newcomers our way. I’d still love to see them.
I don’t quite qualify as my b-day is in October and I’m still 12.
hey i read that…it was right about the teenagers needing ipods *sigh* I love the nanos!! but the shuffles are still my favs. ok yes i have issues…I’m still 13. AAAAAAALMOST 14. whee!!!! wow this hasn’t been posted on in a while huh? yes i’m randomly looking around at what I missed all those sad days before the discovery of the museblog…*sigh*
So right!
