MuseBlog Novel Writing Month has to end sometime, and that time is one minute after 11:59 p.m. tonight (Tuesday, March 2). Be warned! (And by the way, how’s it going?)
Patience, Please
This site is under reconstruction and will look strange for a while. We regret the inconvenience.
*has already finished running, but gave up writing after her computer crashed and she lost everything*
Who else is still doing it?
I completely gave up after like, two days, when I discovered I had absolutely no enthusiasm.
And I didn’t do much editing on my NaNo, either.
*sigh* I started the month with such great hopes, and then they all… Died.
I should have skipped ahead to a different part, tried to work on that. I feel sad now.
And I suddenly miss the story. Maybe I’ll go back and work on it more today. See how much less miserably I can fail.
Wow. You just wrote my post for me!
Glad I could be of service!
Having gotten back to work, I discover myself to have large amounts of enthusiasm, and have already gotten from 1,900 words, (Pathetic, I know.) to 2,300 words. Not too terrible, especially considering I’ve also walked the dog and gone to Drama club.
I didn’t get very far.. my problem with these kinds of things is I don’t remember until it’s started, and then have to throw together a plot.. st least I already signed up for Screnzy, though my plot is somewhat weird and incomplete.
3000 words now.
I’m setting my goal for this evening at 5000, Which is an ambitious goal. And I’m probably not going to make it. But I’m enjoying myself anyway.
I did not make 50,000 (not even close), but I did write some things I liked. The “fragments” idea has been harder to pull off than I’d expected, but I am enjoying the challenge. I’ll see where it takes me I suppose!
I need to go to bed now, and only made it to 3,700. Still not bad, almost two thousand in one afternoon. Nearly par with my best days during NaNo, after one day. This is a positive sign for next NaNo.
So who’s planning on doing Screnzy? I’m considering whether or not to. I might just skip it, or else do something fun and relaxing. (Wait, something connected with NaNo fun and relaxing? Right.) I’m not sure.
I’m doing Screnzy, and I’m going to keep up training running for this summer.
Winners, report here!
If you think about it, I technically finished the goal I set later of finishing the first edit of my NaNo. So maybe I did win?
Yes you did!!! *hugs* Congradulations
