Or autumn, if you’re in the Southern Hemisphere. As you’ll know if you’d looked in the sidebar, the vernal equinox occurs at 2321 Universal Time (that’s 6:21 p.m. blogtime) on Sunday, March 20.
Patience, Please
This site is under reconstruction and will look strange for a while. We regret the inconvenience.
Happy Equinox, everybody!
And since I live in the Northern Hemisphere… YAY! More sun! More sun!
Same as Kai, more sun! It won’t be pitch-black when I get up to go to band practice anymore!
Good weather came right on schedule. All the snow has melted and it is nice and warm (or at least yesterday was. Today its a bit cold but supposed to warm up).
I like winter better. It’s colder.
Still, the start of a new season is always cause for celebration! It would be horrible if any season lasted forever. Anyway, I’ve now been on MuseBlog in all 4 seasons, or at least I will have been at 6:21. Happy new spring/autumn!
Yay Spring!! I think I’ll do my homework outside today.
Today my room was given a thorough cleaning. I didn’t realize it was spring today, but it serves adequately as spring cleaning.
In Jordan the weather has actually been close to what I associate with early spring for quite some time now. Now I think the weather is reaching May/early June temperatures. Living in a different climate is fascinating
I let the window open today and cool air blew in. It was nice. I think I might wear just a turtleneck and a light jacket tomorrow if the weather’s okay.
My brother informed me this morning that it was spring. He also insisted that wearing jeans was disallowed as soon as it was spring, so he made a point of wearing shorts today.
I pointed out that it had snowed on Saturday. He conceded that, but Saturday, of course, was still winter. The second day of spring is entirely different from the last day of winter.
Really, though, I’m glad that spring is here!
As a note… International Summer Day is February twelfth. Wear summer clothes no matter the weather. Win at life.
