Even Lady Bunniful isn’t sure what’s hatching here — just as nobody knows what will happen on the March random thread during its second ten-day stretch.
as this was put on the old thread and noone will read it there
in september i found a black spot on my arm and it kept growing. then when it was the size of your pinky fingernail, i went to the dermatologist and they had to remove it. it was on my arm so i could see it and they only were abla to put 1 stitch in because i was close to throwing up. The diagnosis was that it had been by a brown reckluse and the skin that was black was dead and that it was a good thing they had gotten it out becasue it could have spread alot more. creepy eh? especially because brown reckcluse spiders dont live in NJ…
So i had try outs for the Senoir A basketball team today and i pretty much sucked and 1 of the girls who was trying out had a concussion and then she slipped and it got worse and she had to be wheeled out. It kind of ruined the fun of try outs and i think i did really badly
Daylight savings time is next week for me – HAHA
So I was going to take a bus home from school today and the bus (which hasnt come to our school since the headmistress decided to make our day go 1/2 an hour later than the other schools ) was going to stop for me because I am private boarding and it is the only way for the school to get me out to where i live so i get to laeve school early. Of course the bus forgot to come along to my school so one of the people in the Public Transport office had to pick me up and he drove me out to almost where I live and then I caught the bus about 5 streets from where i live. FIGURES!!!!
Now noone is home and I want my parents to sell our freaking house so thay can move over here to NZ and i dont have to private board – I wont board at the school because it is too strict and i dont do rules , so i am living in the middle of nowhere with my dads friend and his family and while they are nice – I really want my parents to move out, because it is kind of awkward
Does anyone here want to buy a 72 acre farm in NJ 6 bedroom 6 bathroom 2 kitchen house with a movie theater? It is only 1.75 million – we have underpriced it so it will sell!!!!
ooooh I ♥ the new picture it is soo scary im glad im over in New Zealand because it is VERY hard to get to but just to be safe i might dig a deep hole to hide in *gooes to find a shovel*
i was just looking back at the threads from april 2006 – there are 2 threads that mean so much to me – theres my special first post thread which makes me probably the only MBer who has had their own first post thread and then there was the thread that was made when my mom had surgery for her cancer. Good times.
I think we should have another Boys Power and Girl Power thread they were so much fun….
*revives* I’ve been gone for a long time because I started a blog!!! I don’t think I can put a link, but here is the web address: [Sorry, Kokonilly. Addresses of personal Web spaces count as contact information and are not allowed under MuseBlog rules. –Robert]
My english teacher today was sooooo far off! I wanted to correct her, but I didn’t dare. She said (something like this),
“You wouldn’t really put anything pink … on the cover of a scary book, would you?”
Mine actually said, today, that Galileo dug up dead bodies to do experiments on. I didn’t think that was true… *looks up* He also said, once, that people who didn’t know what date the civil war started on shouldn’t be able to vote (or shouldn’t even have an opinion). Unfortunately, none of us did… (*hangs head in shame*) Oh well, with any luck the (eep) thing in the egg will take over, and then all will be… Well. Bunnies. Bunnies. Obey. Bunnies. *zombie walk*
I can’t stand my computer teacher. (A rant may be coming up.) She never does anything and yells at people for even starting to ask if she could repeat what she said. She’s never in a good mood. She’s an awful teacher.
Okay, that wasn’t much of a rant, but maybe I’ll post when I really am in a loathing sort of mood..
I have just discovered that chic flicks, two bags of potato chips, rum filled chocolates, a lap dog, a computer, and a soda is a sure cure for depression.
I love the week before spring break. No one wants to do anything, so we just sat and watched movies in half my classes.
Oh, and I had an arguement with my english teacher on which was more relevant to modern American culture: Shakespeare or To Kill a Mockingbird. I said that the areas in which they were each vastly influential were basically irrelevant to each other so it didn’t matter.
(16) Thanks, Purple Panda. I’m so happy you like them!
Often, as in this instance, ideas develop through email conversations with Robert, either directly or by some train of thought set off by a chance remark. Sometimes comments on the blog set me to thinking. Once I start trying things out, the graphics tend to develop a will of their own — rather like characters do when you’re writing fiction.
I had only the vaguest notion of what I was after when I sat down on the kitchen floor and started photographing eggs. Then as I experimented, certain directions began to suggest themselves. That’s pretty much the way I do all my art work, come to think of it.
It’s especially fun to do a continuing series like this one, because I can let it play around in the back of my mind for days and pick up new possibilities. In fact, I just thought of a new plot twist today, if I can make it work….
EGAD!!! It resembleth an image from a tale of horror!
Today was slightly boring, with sprinklings of good and bad emotions thrown in.
PE was fun for once.
Math was boring.
English was OK, nothing remarkable, although we did finish watching Jakob the Liar and I cried and was sad until…
TUTORIAL!!! Elijah had me take notes for the improv troupe meeting since Helen wasn’t there, and I may or may not have the position of general secretary. Which would be fun, and I really hope I get to keep it.
Good night everyone! I am signing off a bit early because I have to massage the dog. Yes, that sounds odd, but otherwise she’ll jump off the couch and get sprains and stuff. ;D~
I was looking through old threads today, and I noticed that there was some discussion of Twelfth Night on the January neophytes thread, which I find funny considering that I’m performing Twelfth Night tomorrow. And I think I’ve found the one person in the world who likes the hiding behind the bush scene. Actually, I think our Malvolio doesn’t mind it, but he doesn’t have to hide behind the bush, which is rather painful, because the audience has to still see our faces when were behind the bush.
21~ Goodnight! It seems funny saying that, since it’s only quarter to eight here, but oh well.
19~ A top secret, I imagine? It gets scarier by the day. Is there a place I can see all the pictures (once you’re done of course)?
I’m leaving tomorrow and I’d hate to miss out on seeing what was in the egg…..
I got an ancient violin case today that I’m hoping to fix up on the inside and use for living history events. Dragging around my big old modern case is okay at night, but really hard to hide under the apron in the daylight. So, we’ll see how that goes, although at rendezvous is where I actually need more protection that my modern case offers. Gah.
24- you think? it an HPB egg and you describe it as “scary” get some adjectives….
20- I like the idea of giving n overveiw of our day
Latin- gaaaaaaaaahh!!!! NLE in 2 days!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! on the plus side we get out of school….
1-3 periods- Math Exam assigned by the state. It was insultingly (sp?) easy. I’m a wee bitt offened. Can’t talk about it in case you folks have yet to take it. Part threee tomorrow… dun dun dun.
Creative Writing- Usually my favorite class. Today because of the exams she let us have a study hall so we played Balderdash.
5- Algebra- the day of the math exams my teacher takes a day off…AND LEAVES US WITH TWO WORKSHEETS THAT WERE HARDER THAN THE EXAM ITSELF!!!!
5b- Lunch
Free Reading! Yay!
7th GYM!!!- the only good thing about gym is that it lets out at approximatly the same time as Chorus. And who is in chorus but…..you guessed it, my crush. I waited for that partiular class to let out.
Social Studies- I printed out 22 pages on the Nuremburg trials and now i must highlight allthe good facts and condense it into a 5 minute news broadcast… urg.
As you can see, as you as i got home i fell asleep….zzzzz and then woke up for museblog
I’ve thought about doing that, but I never have. Might as well.
Computers – Bleh. Evil Mrs. ——-.
PE – We have basketball tournaments. Ech. Torture. I was shaking, too. It’s pretty scary to have someone dribbling a basketball and going behind you really fast, did you know that?
Art – Bleh. Headache.
Math – Headache. The algebra itself was easy, thankfully.
Geography – Someone was sitting in my seat, so I sat somewhere else. It was hard to see the board because of someone’s head in my way.
Lunch – Okay. Nothing eventful.
English – Headache, ugh.
Science – By this point the headache starts to go away…
And then I came home onto ze computah!
And tomorrow I’m having Battle of the Books tournament! Yay! So, I miss school. But, this is also bad, because 1. I leave a couple friends alone and miss some people 2. We have to go to Wendy’s, nooo!! I hate Wendy’s.
I guess that’s that. Nothing interesting to report.
Boredom…
I played ‘[Drama Club’s name] opoly in theatre today. We’d found it in the back room and decided to play it. It was quite entertaining though only the other senior and I understood some of the jokes given as it was written by a class who’d graduated five years ago but they’d mentioned people who’d graduated while my class was also in high school.
(5) By the way, Zoe, did you know that today is your second blogiversary? That’s right: two years of MuseBloggery. Of course, it’s already tomorrow in New Zealand…
Today. I took a math unit test. And died on the part where we had to say how many of each kind of face the great rhombicosidodecahedron has. BASED ON ITS NAME!!! meh. Stupid math teacher.
In English after our free reading time we played 7-up and this game where people walked around with books on their heads, and then we wrote sonnets. And after that I started thinking in iambic pentameter. Which reminded me of that xkcd comic about iambic pentameter…xD
Lunch…nothing interesting happened.
Gym…we started playing softball. And our teacher implemented the popsicle-stick method of making sure we all run 4 laps. Sigh.
Chorus — We. Are. Going. To. Die. At. Festival. We have three more class periods left, and we finished learning one of our songs today. xD It’s so pathetic it’s funny.
Home. Uhhh…I can’t even remember. It involved doing homework and writing a platonic solids essay and chatting with people. And now it’s — HOLY CRAP, IT’S 9:30!!! HOW’D THAT HAPPEN!??! *sigh* must go take shower…Good night, MuseBlog.
Midnight Fiddler will not be on the blog untill March 18th.
I’m going to Jamestown, so I’ll be away from the computer (and thus, MB) untill we get home.
Untill then, pies, choklit and peace to all!
30 – OMG i forgot!!!!!!! YAY ITS MY BLOGGERVERSARY!!!!!!!!!!
33- thats really cool
34 – yep that was me I’ve changed so much…. i was a huge brat back then…..
I just printed two copies of that poster out. They’ll look great… when I have copied and pasted them to all my folders at school!!! Muhahaha!! Oh, um, is it ok that I printed? Or is that a no-no?
That’s one comment most people wouldn’t have expected out of me. But it’s time to unveil my darkest secret. I LOVE Valentino. And high fashion. I get it from my mom. (For those who don’t know, she earns extra money by designing and selling clothes for feminine forms.=) Ok.She does tuxedos and vests too. But mostly skirts and dresses. And an invention of hers, a cross between pants and skirts. They are very comfy.) Of course, I can’t afford Valentino, so I get cheaper things that are his kind of style. So, shopping it is.
52-I love fashion too, but you wouldn’t really know looking at what I wear most days.
Hmm. my day was ok. After school I walked to the library with my friends and we had a snowball fight outside. One of my best friends is leaving next week to live with her dad for the summer. He lives in California.
The egg is hatching. Be afraid, very afraid. Speaking of which, what happened to the random thread names that had names of months in them?
Our one and only performance for Twelfth Night is tonight. Our Sir Toby was missing this morning, which is slightly concerning since I play Maria, but he came in before lunch. I just hope that, unlike last night’s cast, we remember all our lines. (The show is completely double cast, including minor roles and student directors.)
44- Not really. I just erased ALIEN and replaced it with BUNNY, then erased the original slogan and put in a new one. The only really tricky part was turning the green light pink… I eventually did a foreground-to-background gradient and left it at that.
45 through 47- Thank you.
48- Yeah, that would be awesome.
49- Sure, go ahead.
50, 51, 53- Thank you again!
55-Ooh that was really cool though. I can’t do photoshop to save my life.
I can’t wait for summer vacation.
I’m a freshman and I’m already burned out. I feel like dropping down to all transition classes and moseying my way through high school. Of course I won’t do that, but it would be nice not to have such hard work. *is a lazy no good dirty rotten future destroying teenager*
My first thought when I heard my alarm go off was, “We don’t have school today, I can go back to sleep.” Luckily for me I woke up completely before I turned off the clock, because I did have school.
Before school I read Hamlet. In fact, all day I read Hamlet. It’s a really good play.
In Acting we did headshots, and mine turned out really good, but we have to redo them since a lot of people were wearing black on black. Which is sad because I wasn’t.
In Frosh Trans we had our test, and I think I died a little. I couldn’t remember . . . something important, not fit to be discussed on the blog, so I’m a little worried. But my grade can afford it.
In Spanish I gushed about Hamlet. When we had to draw a picture of someone in the class, Brenda drew me. Reading Hamlet. And then we played Bingo and I got candy.
So that;s my day. And now I want to read more Shakespeare. Even though I can’t tell what they’re saying a lot of the time unless I think hard about it. Luckily, Mr. H teaches Shakespeare (a class) and so when I was utterly baffled I just asked him.
And I’m also kind of sad, because Hamlet is mad and killing people.
57-That’s good that you didn’t miss school. Usually when I think that I continue to think that until the bus is outside.
Today I thought it was Thursday until 3rd period, when I asked my friend what day it was and she said Wednesday.
I am going to explode and I hope I’m in my school when I do.
*explodes* Darn I was at the computer. Now I have a school and I don’t have a computer.
Not really.
I talk too much.
My day included skipping school, because I’m at my gran’s again. Yes. I skipped school. Since yesterday. iI had aminor breakdown and needed to get away.
MuseBloggers:
I don’t know if many of you recognize me, cus most of the people who I talk to here have moved on, but I’ve been here for about 2 years. These good-bye messages have become more popular, which I find somewhat disappointing, but not at all surprising. The MuseBlog was (and to some, it still is) a great place for quite a while. It seems, to me at least, too chaotic and fast-paced (guess I am an oldie). This is my second attempt at this letter, and I can see why the GAPAs snipped it (GAPAs: I hope this is diluted and vague enough to pass). I haven’t been posting much anymore, anyways. I have been keeping busy though- new school, musical theater, and online projects. [snip] Anyways, best of luck to all of you.
Cheers.
Fortune Cell
I ♥ Shakespeare. Really. I just finished reading Hamlet and it was SO good. Even though everyone died. And guess what! One of my monologues is going to be Ophelia being mad and singing ballads and everything.
Just had parent-teacher conferences. English makes me sad; I only have a 90%. But everything else is good. Science is great. As usual.
68 – Another Shakespeare lover! I was in Twelfth Night last night. The play went pretty well, except that Olivia tripped over her dress/Sir Andrew’s foot and fell at one point.
68/72- I was in Love’s Labours’ Lost. It was so much fun. Except- I really don’t like modern versions of Shakespeare. So the director had the intelectuals (us) suddenly break into hip hop. *roils eyes*
I’m goiumg to watch some episodes of sex and the city and give the blog a rest. I love series where you can point and laugh at materialistic rich people. I shall be back.
-43 Wwwhhhhoooooooaaaaahhh!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! i want a poster like that one!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
Something very strange seems to happen when the blog is updated. The GAPA’s names aren’t green, and the second of the three smiley guys at the ends of my posts turns back to text.
Bye Fortune Cell! It’s too bad you had to leave after such a bad time on the romance thread. Of course, no time is a good time to leave… I’m really not sure why everyone is leaving, TMFA, it’s really mind-boggling to me… Or mind-bloggolinging. whatever
Hey museblog, remember me?
So it’s my spring break now and I’m sending an email to the GAPAs with clips of me playing this long and pretentious piece that I recorded in January when I said I would send something in and then forgot to load onto my computer and send in. So yeah. I’m not sure if that made any sense at all.
Glad to see the blog is back up and running again, though, even though I haven’t really been following it all that closely.
(the email address is gapa [at] musefanpage [dot] com , right?)
(78, 81) I don’t think there are any more people leaving now than have left in the past. Nowadays more of them are likely to announce the fact, which makes their departure more noticeable than when they simply disappear.
(82) Good to see you, Lizzie! Yes, the address is correct.
Lizzie – Welcome back! (And yes, the email is correct)
Rebecca – it seems like a lot to me, probably because the people leaving are the people I’ve made really good friends with and gotten to know really well, etc.
Hi Purple Panda! Nice to see you, I don’t think I’ve seen you a lot on the blog (I think also because it is so obvious people are leaving, whenever I see someone who I think I might not have seen recently I want to make sure they feel welcome so they don’t leave!! )
83 (Rebecca)- That’s true, usually people would just drop off But now we are having people who were really involved with the blog leaving! I mean, Glassboro had somehow contacted Fortune Cell on another site I believe, because he often seemed to be saying he had email contact with her or something, and now they have both left the blog! It’s really odd! You think somebody’s really attached to the blog, and then they leave! In fact, I had mentioned Glassboro on a thread recently, I’ll have to find that
Yay! Break!!! I just got a haircut today And we went on a woodcock walk this evening, and saw them!!
Hey Beavo! I’m on spring break too! *Excited* I’m tired because it’s a bit late, but I’m oddly full of energy at the same time
I found out today that I got a Gold Key award in the National Scholastic Writing Awards! Now it gets to move onto a more difficult level award, I guess — I’m not really sure how it works. But that’s really cool, because I’ve never won anything before for writing!
I wandered off to my math teacher from eighth grade’s room (he always has pie and he now teaches at the high school I attend) I didn’t get any pie though, blasphemy!
And the play is kinda falling apart, because no one will practice and the understudy for the main part can’t take the time to SIT DOWN AND READ HIS SCRIPT.
*to the tune of Nobody’s Perfect, Hannah Montana*
If you don’t practice
I’m gonna stab you
Again and again
Till you bleed and die!
If you don’t practice
I’ll come and find you
And you won’t have very long
So you better practice!
(107) Beavo, I’m so sorry about Belle. Losing a pet really hurts. Animals touch us in such inexplicable ways. All I can say is try to make the most out of the time you have to say good-bye.
Beavo! That’s horrid! But at least you can be comforted by the fact that she has lived her life surrounded by people who love her very much, unlike some unfortunate animals. I’m sure her life has been happy. Pets are our friends, and the beautiful way in which they touch our lives is- to quote Madeline L’engle- “A deep and dazzeling darkness.” We can not expect that our pets will outlive us, and therefore all pets have a dark and sad edge to them. There time with us, however short, is one of the most magical times of our lives. Although I am not religous, the best way I can describe our relationship with animals is that animals leave hoofprints and pawprints across your soul. The animals have to walk all over you to imprint them.
I speak for all of us when I say that we will be with you and Belle.
107- Oh. I’m so sorry, Beavo. Rebecca and Vixen are better at giving virtual speeches, but I’m very, very, sorry. Give Belle my love, even though I’ve never met her. I hope her last three months are good ones.
107-Im so sorry! that must be horrible, when I lived in Botwsana there was aboy who lived down the street from me who had seven, flea ridden, undernourished dogs, I loved them so musch and then, my favourite…a white spotty one, died, I reached my hand into the kennel..and…oh its horrible, at least Belle will have had a good life and be surrounded by people who love and care for her….I hate death…it spooks me out…as does sleep…
(116) You’re just fine at this, TMFA. And so is everyone who has written. No one ever has the right words, because words can’t make the situation right. But you’re never wrong to speak from your heart when you’re sad for someone.
103-Of course not. My teacher is only boring because he drones on forever. If you’ve ever seen Napoleon Dynamite imagine an older Kip teaching your tech class, and he doesn’t even pretend to be gangster.
127- Wow. I saw a white page, black text, blue links, and then later there was an orange and grey one, which I like a lot. I can’t find either of them on WP, and I didn’t know how to take screenshots at that point, so I guess I’ll never see them again.
Well, I like the blog now, it looks more official, even though it’s, well, blue. And grey. And white.
Belle was a rescue, we got her when she was four. She had been left outside tied to a tree, and by the time the neighbor called the police she was so weak that she had maggots in her ears.
Beavo – I’m so sorry. My dog isn’t dead but she might as well be because we cant bring her to New Zealand with us. Its reall;y upsetting because it isn’t the first time she will have been abandoned – we rescued her after she was found on the streets. At least we know the people who we are giving her to love her and she loves them…
So today was our school fair and I won a Cadbury Egg the size of my head in the tombola!!!! wheeeee.
Ugh stage challenge practice tommorow – ON A FREAKING SUNDAY!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
Zoe-yea…i did….I had a bit of a OMG I WANNA GO BACK!!!!!! today seeing as I was homeschooled, and life was so simple….its not fair, I hate New Zealand mostly, its so boring…at least in america there is a lot of stuff…NZ is an ISLAND!!!ISOLATED!!!!it costs alot just to go to another country like Australia….there is nothing here but sheep….end of rant…
search hot pink bunny on Youtube and there is something caled the hot pink bunny hunters…who catch bunnys….TO LOVE AND CARE FOR!?!?!?!?! wow…NOT normal…also something called a pink rabbit (its a pink rabbit…duh!)
by the way ZOe, later in the year we have to do a horror movie poster….I wanna steal POSOCs pic…hahaha its great!
but no….I think Mrs R would catch on…but its a good idea hahaha….
OH Im soooooo excited!!!! IN April I am going to spend my $100 NZD pocket money on a Bunny Fear Me Tshirt and badge mwahahaha…and possibly a Kokopelli for President ‘button’ and wear it on my blazer to annoy the incredibly insane and strict: Miss Wilson, our principal…
and I AM GOING TO CHINA IN 27 DAYS AAAAAAAH!!!! EXCITED!!!!! OMGOMGOMG!!!!CHINA!!!!!AAAAAAH!!!!AND ILL TAKE A PICTURE OF A TERRACOTTA WARRIOR READING MUSE!!!!AND ILL SEND IT IN TO THE MAGAZINE AND IT WILL (i hope) GET PUBLISED!!!!!!WOOOOOOOO!!!!!
by the way…many purple bunnies are being sold in stores…are the HPBs interbreeding??? uhoh…..
the museblog signatures on tshirts are pretty cool…I wish mine was on it^^ I doubt anyone( except Zoe) would get it though! at my school!
I just realised…I have never posted this much on MB before usually I post like…inJanuary and thats it for 6 months…The HPBs have obviously infected my brain so I cannot live without it hahaha, my mum asked before…”what’s a Hot PinkBunny?” I replied in shock “only the most evil and feared creature known to man kind and the musiverse!!!” she looked at me,puzzled, and went off shaking her head…what larks..
happy palm sunday for tomorrow everyone! (is it sunday tomorrow in the US?) but I have to go to SAILING!!! in the harbour! tomorrow morning…horrible…
At the fair I brought a MASSIVE do toy for a dollar…I have no idea WHAT to do with it…it truly is big!!!
ah well
goodnight/goodmorning (depending on timezones etc.) all
Ssm the madly insane
Beavo – I’m so, so sorry.
Before Christmas, our dog was put to sleep. She was very, very old and had trouble moving around. I know it is not nearly the same as it is for you; she was barely even there anymore when she was around.
142 – China? You’re going to China? COOL!
I need to put things on my guitar case so I don’t mix it up with other people’s. I have a Green Day patch. What else…?
142-You can’t touch the real terra cotta warriors, so you’d have to go to a shop that makes replicas for decoration and such. (I was there last summer and read Muse in the Forbidden City) I hope you have a lot of fun in China!!
THIS IS AN EMERGENCY ANNOUNCEMENT~~ATTENTION TO ALL MUSEBLOGGERS EVERYWHERE
A letter has just been sent out by one member of the kokonspiracy to Muse to be published, and this letter is signed by “The Kokonspirators” aka everyone here. This letter was pushed through with very little attention because it was posted on the mostly-abandoned kokonspiracy thread. I have just discovered this and feel I must get this incredibly urgent message to all musebloggers everywhere. A letter has just been sent off, indicating you agree with and hold true to all of its content, without your approval or even knowing it existed. This is very bad, and I’m sure many will be unhappy. I cannot believe this has happened, but it has, and I don’t even know where to begin.
148- I don’t really agree with the letter–it sounds as though we think that if we’re in charge, everything will be better, which I feel is not the case. But whatever. It’s not a big deal.
Sam – OMG i I know what you mean. New Zealand is a (snip) . It truley is horribal. There is NOTHING to do and the shopping SUCKS at least the people afr nice – as well as the 100000000000000000000000000000000000000000000000000000000000000000000000000000000000000000000000000000000000000000000000000000000000000000000000000000000000000000000000000000000000000000000000000000000000000000000 freaking sheep!! haha. But you have to admit – school has gotten ALOT more interesting now that I’m there – they just need to ditch the uniforms and make it co-ed then I’ll be happy. That horror poster does sound like fun
maybeyy if we can work in pairs we can have a orror poster about the evil HPB easter bunny – or something like that. OK this is really creepy – the box where you type has gotten really thin – it keeps shrinkin and even though you cacnat see what you type you can type. JUst a heds up foor any spelling fanatics who might get mad at the errors here – the box haas SHRUNK!!!! AAAAAAAAAAAAAAHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHH
Sam- 142 haha good idea on putting the badge on your blazer – btw I actually saw Miss Wilson WALK across the street to her house – she didn’t drive!!!!!!! It was a miricale…
I would buy a shirt but those types of shirts tend to be shapeless and I refuse to wear shapeless clothes – I’m rather picky bout what I wear and I only wear brands – wow I’m materialistic. hehe.
Ugh – its only 9am and I’m already awake and I have stage challenge practice at 11… I’ll just say i’m sick and get out of it!! wheeeeeeeeeeeee!!!
urg the box is shrinking again!!
I don’t know that the box is smaller, but when you try to make it larger by pulling it, it grows but to read one half of your comment you have to use the arrow keys to move to the beginning of the line. And then you can’t see the other half! GAPAs, do you know what is causing this?
(152, 153, 156) What browsers are you all using? For me, the box behaves in perfectly normal fashion in Firefox but becomes the Incredible Shrinking Box in Internet Explorer 7.
I’m not sure what you mean, RtH. The only thing that happens for me is that as my comment grows to a certain length, a scroll bar appears on the side.
(154) Actually, zoe means life, CafePress offers a pretty wide selection of fitted shirts as well as the standard shapeless T. And the site gives you a fair amount of brand, material, and fitting information if you click through to the deeper layers.
(163) Yes, sorry, got distracted and forgot I hadn’t answered your question earlier. Haven’t had a chance to post it yet. Will have to do that when I get home.
154/162-The shirts with the different colored sleeves fit me pretty well. I got the Koko for President one with red sleeves and I like it, but I wouldn’t reccommend it if you’re curvy because then the logo looks a bit funny. I had my friend try it too.
Hmm… Tonight I am going to the hockey game with a bunch of people from ATA. I love hockey. I think that the world leaders should have regular hockey games, and that way they can all get their frustrations out and not have to get in any warrs. I love hockey fights even though I’m normally very peaceful. The comment box is getting smaller here too, but I’ll go check it on my Firefox.
141- Eh, I would love to live in NZ personally, or even just visit. From what I’ve heard it’s amazingly beautiful… I’m antisocial enough to not mind the whole island thing though.
155- I need to work on that too. Letting people get closer to me. Except for the 3-4 friends I’ve known for years (one of them when I was in pre-school), I don’t really let others close…
165- w00t hockey. I just got back from the first practice in a over a week… longest break from it since august XD Though on the thursday skate I couldn’t go to apparently someone shot a puck, and it got stuck in one girl’s helmet and cut her ear somehow and she had to get stitches O.o
168- Yeah, it’s like, all my school friends already have their own connections, and I don’t really know or want to know their other friends. And so we drift apart really easily, and because I’m sort of weird in this respect, I don’t try to get any closer, so there’s always sort of that perilous edge to the relationship. Brenda’s been playing Magic a lot lately, and so we don’t really hang out much anymore. Most of my other friends were never close, except Lauren, and we still hang out some, although we stopped eating lunch together about two weeks into the school year. Or less. I dunno.
Recently, the comment box changed for me, allowing me to pull the corner to make it larger. It would become wider and longer when you pulled the corner, like making any window larger… But now, it can get longer, but if you go wider, it looks the same width. You can then fit more text into the width, but you can’t see it, it goes behind the page somehow, and you have to use the arrow keys to move along the line of text to get to the end to read what’s at the end. Ha, that didn’t make any sense, did it? Sorry about that…
Hmmmm… I wonder why the comment box is suddenly acting up? That’s what it was doing earlier too. And then it stopped, and now it’s doing it all the time. That is so not spiffing.
Hmmmm. It’s a very good vampire movie that I’m watching. Anne Rice did the screenplay. I don’t know what it is called.
169- I have the oposite problem. No one let’s me in, and so I’m an unusually open person. It’s only lately that I’ve stopped wearing my heart on my sleave, so to speak. I have one close friend, but as she lives in the US, we haven’t even e-mailed each other for weeks. Or, rather, I e-mail her,, and she doesn’t answer.
We love MuseBlog. MuseBloggers are some people you alway s can count on.
(170) Actually, your comments make more sense to me now. I suddenly remembered I still had Safari for Windows, so I took a look at how it handled comments. Unlike my other browsers, it has a resizable box. It behaves normally until I drag it wider than the column, then that part disappears. I can retrieve it until I let go of the corner at which point it’s stuck, and I can’t even reach the hidden text with arrow keys. All these browser variations!
Speaking of which, have you noticed we lost our question marks/little boxes beside people’s names?
(173, 176) The question marks originally popped up back in the early history of the blog when Robert removed the URL field from the comments box. We quickly grew fond of them, so he never tried to remove them. I guess the current edition of the software doesn’t mind losing the URL. *wishes the question marks well wherever they may be*
Cara Marie (the girl who plays the Genie in Aladdin) called today, and said that we scheduled a play practice at Jessica’s house over Spring Break, because we need practice badly and Spring Break is the time where everyone forgets everything. It was origionally at the mall, but it got moved.
The comment box just got really small. I can’t see what I’m typing.
oh my goodness! I was typing and the leave a comment box completely dissapeared!
*wishes she had the time to read all the posts*
first, I want to appolagize for not reading everyone’s comments (except for the one about POSOC’s poster, which is freakin’ awesome by the way) and also that this post will probably be self centered.
arrrrgh!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! this is so frustrating. (in no way do I blame this on the GAPAs) my second post didn’t post. *stops ranting so she can type*
continued from above:
I went to Qebec for March break. supposedly to ski. but I was sick for most of the week and am still sick now. *bleh* so yeah. my post is way shorter than it wuld have been. *is frustrated at the internet*
For those of you who want to write longer posts on IE7 without getting cut off by the Incredible Shrinking Comments Box, you can copy and paste text from elsewhere. Somehow this bypasses the shrinking trigger.
Also if you refresh the page, the box will reappear, though your text will be erased.
At least that’s how it works for me. Let us know if you get different results.
EEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHH!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! the new picture just apeared on my screen and scared me outa my wits. speaking of scary pink bunnies…. I know several MBers are scarygoround readers and the only reason i’m bringing it up is that the current storyline features a really scary pinkish rabit with fangs. go check it out @ scarygoround.com
185 – ooh, I love scarygoround. Except that I often have no idea what’s going on in the storyline. It is awesomeness indeed, though. I really want to get the death has a bunny shirt.
190 – Did you get my email, by the way? I just want to make sure I didn’t do something stupid like quit firefox before it was finished sending – I don’t expect you to post it when you don’t have time / inclination / haven’t solved the problem of the Mysterious Shrinking Comment Boxes /etc.
I have had no problem with anything shrinking or scrolling on me.
(190) Yes, we got the email, and the attachments appear to be in order. We will get them posted when the dust settles a little. In the meantime, we appreciate the kind words, are glad you’re here, and hope we haven’t corrupted you too much.
That is weird about the spelling of “Rebecca.” Makes you wonder how many other words spell-check gets wrong.
I am ever so sorry for not being here! My head has been full of stage crew and RPGing and my fave author coming in April and spring break and homework and etc. It seemed, though, that I have missed the software troubles. And I like the “currently weirder than usual” thing.
I have discovered a fellow Muser at the elementary school. He’s in the play I’m crew on (King & I, he plays Lun Tha) and I’m trying to convince him to go on the MB. Hope it works! We could always use more recruits.
YAYAYAY CASEY & ANDY IS BACK UP! That comic is pure <3.
43- ZOMGGGGG I LUV IT *runs off to make a copy*
Holy HPB it’s late. Well, see you guys around, and hope there’s no more blog troubles!
Me: “Oh. My. GAWD. Are you having fun?”
Her: ?
Me: That is, omg. That is disgusting. Get off. Now.
Her: What are you talking about?
Me: You know exactly what I’m talking about. Get off and go to your room, young lady.
Her: What?
Me: *scoff* Just, just go.
Her: ?
Me: *prentends to punch wall* I SAID NOW!!!
everything has just been deleted off my ipod and the library with all my songs is still in New Jersey on my normal computer. I have no songs and i rely on my ipod for EVERYTHING.
Erp, changed it again. I’m sorry for the second post….
To make this not pointless, I’ll talk about the weather:
Ah, well, folks, it’s cool and rainy out this morning! I thought it’d be moved through nice this morning. It’s s’pposed to move out and be right pretty out in a bit, but I can’t see it comin’ yet.
OK, enough with the accent. I’m sure you’d have been happier had I sent this in without the stuff about the weather. Anyway, good day! *Tips hat*

Zemtee is not fighting in any pie wars right now. Zemtee is a good nation helping protect the muse world from evil. Your coming to Zemtee would be most welcome, whoever you are, and you have your choice of your position.
Those already in Zemtee, if you haven’t checked up on the thread for any reason, please do. TMFA is bringing something up that I want you to have your say in.
Sorry to take up space on the random thread, but I want to make sure everybody gets this message!
I might be absent from MuseBog for the next few days
I’m going to the moon to calm down, relax, and escape
from the fires (Mostly Harmless post #41)
and the incredible shrinking comment box
*gasp* yes, its got me too. toodles MBers! ! ! ! ! ! ! ! ! ! ! ! ! ! ! !
I’m going to go work on monologues now, until I feel confident that I can present them tomorrow if need be. Rosey’s (The Cinderella Waltz) is easy to act out, but hard to remember. Ophelia’s (Hamlet) is easy to remember, but really hard to act out, because Rosey’s excited and happy, and Ophelia is gently insane. And I’m terrified I won’t wake the time limit, because when I get up there I’ll rattle through it without even acting. I would record them on Garageband and listen to the, which would help a great deal, but I *hate* hearing my voice recorded. I have a really bad lisp.
(209) Alice, I didn’t like hearing my speaking voice either, but when I did some acting a couple of years ago, I decided it was more urgent to feel completely at ease in performance than to endure the discomfort of listening to myself. (Parts of the show involved improv with audience participation, which terrified me, thus I was determined to know everything else cold.)
I recorded all my lines and their cues in order to be able to run lines without having to depend on someone else. The side benefit was, after hearing endless repetitions, I became desensitized to my voice and it no longer bothers me.
My voice is bad. And my danish accent is atrocious. everyone keeps saying I sound like I’m speaking a mix between spanish, swedish, and japanese. (?) Maybe because I snarl at anyone who thinks that I have an american accent. At least swedish/spanish/japanese accents are excotic. No offense, but when danes hear american accents, they think of tourists. I am not a tourist in my motherland. But also, my voice is deeper and higher depending on who I talk to. For men, it suddenly get’s pitch high, which different people have had different theories about.
According to other people I speak very softly. I guess I just don’t talk loud because I assume that if I can hear myself everyone else must be able to hear me, which is incredibly conceited to think. I loathe speaking loudly though. I’m always afraid that I’ll scream without realizing it.
*comes back from having recorded and listened to her own voice*
Eh, could be worse. Could be a lot worse. My lisp has already improved a great deal from when I last recorded myself (I’ve been working on it) and my accent is pretty cool. I shudder to think what my voice’ll sound like on the MuseCast.
Anyway. I sometimes speak very softly, often when I’m a little unsure. But sometimes I end up hiding all of this by talking really loudly, and startling myself really badly by the sheer volume! Sometimes I wonder if this is noticeable on the outside, and if it’s an absolute riot, or if I’m just getting excited about nothing
I haven’t heard my recorded voice in a while, hopefully it’s closer to what I hear than it used to be… it sounded so high and squeaky compared to my real voice… though it was from 8th grade… but to me my voice is kinda low.
218-Hahah, yeah, that’s right I can’t wait to hear what people have to say now. My voice is even deeper, and I will have a lot to say…
219-Is your spelling voice your speaking voice? Because sometimes people have a voice for normal speaking and one for speaking in public (like on a stage, or whenever you’re speaking to a lot of people…)
Hi people.
I’m so glad that everyone on here uses complete sentences and words. It’s really very nice.
My dad is so hard to talk to on the internet because he uses txtspk and writes sentences in more than one message, so I never know when he’s done talking or what he’s talking about. I’m trying to ask him if i can have a spring break party and I still don’t know because I don’t get what he;s trying to say.
168-sure, NZ SOUNDS nice….but seriously
Zoe-with regards to the ipod….dang…that.is.horrible. my friend gave me a $40 itunes voucher for no particular reason…which is quite cool, and I got a KitKat bar with a free song–do you want it?do you have a mac? get Acquisition, or a Windows? get Limewire like itunes, but free.
Vixen in the eyes of the Moon-Denmark? awesome!!!….do you eat lots of Danish Pastries (my knowledge ((or lack of)) of east europe ashames me…)
do you guys think my teacher would get mad if I started using Parentheses instead of ‘brackets’ ~parentheses is a MUCH cooler word…hmmmmmm…
Thats a scary picture…curioser and curioser…Im so excited! I am wondering what the outcome will be!!! you know HPB shaped pink marshmallows would be awesome hahahaha…yea….
big science test tomorrow! SCARY! im terrible at stupid equations….are they really necessary??? I hope my friend (thats Aimee, Zoe) does alright, otherwise Miss Sharma will get mad at her and then she (Aimee) will get mad at me although according to Caroline she doesnt like me anyway…but I dont know who likes me anymore…even Aru (Alison, all my Japanese friends call her Aruson…)and Laura arent talking to me that much…life is so confusing…
we are going tramping this easter so thats nearly 5 days of MB deprivation…I was looking forward to it…but now, its kinda like…I cant be bothered…and then if I dont get to see the final easter egg picture…I might cry…
does anyone ever read all of these long posts….Id say not….
oh well…
So funny story –
(we set the scene. Zoe is sitting on the bus feeling sorry for herself because no one else from her school is on because she has to leave school early just so she can catch the bus that goes to where she lives. As she has just moved and knows NO ONE, no one is talking to her We have just picked up students from 3 of the other schools and we get to the last school. An assortment of people come on including 2 boys who take the two seats behind Zoe. Zoe is texting when she feels a bump on her arm)
Boy 1 – (whispering) – Hey apologize
Boy 2- (whispering) – For what?
Boy 1 – (whispering) – For hitting her arm
Boy 2 – (leans head around corner) – Sorry
Zoe – OK?
(minutes later)
Boy 2 – Hey can I see your phone?
Zoe – Um, OK
(passes phone over, gets it back in 2 seconds) (a minute later)
Boy 1 – So whats your background?
Zoe – oh, its just my friend being silly – See (looks at phone realize its not hers, they switched it with theirs) HEY!!!
(gets phone back)
Boy 2 – (points at Zoe’s curly hair that is thrown up in a messy bun) So is that a scrunchy that you put in your hair to make it look like that?
Zoe – No, its natural, I have very curly hair
Boy 2 – oh. (points to Zoe’s school bag that is sitting on the empty seat) Hey move your bag onto your lap
Zoe – Why?
Boy 2 – Its a magic trick
Boy 1 – Really it is – just do it
Zoe – Um, OK (puts her bag on her lap and starts texting again. A minute later, Boy 1, does a Tyler and flips into the empty seat)
Boy 1 – See told you it was a magic trick!!
Zoe – (laughing) – Haha I expected that – my friend Tyler does it all the time.
Boy 1 – (defensively) Who’s Tyler and where does he live?
Zoe – America
(they keep talking about this useless small talk that isn’t funny)
(end scene)
And now I have the pleasure of going on the bus tomorrow and getting tricked again. Oh Goody!!
As for that science test Sam – oops I need to study or Aimee will be getting a better grade than me!!!! Why do you put up with her if you know she doesn’t like you – not to sound like your mom here but I was in a situation when I stayed “friends†with someone who didn’t like me and, well I lost most of my friends because of her…
As for your other friends – I must say that that kind of drama is unnecessary – I had WAY to much of it in NJ and if I get into it here I will transfer schools.
I have a Dell and my parents said my laptop will be taken away if I download Limewire – *insert a horribly long and boring speech about how it is illegal and therefore wrong* Ha too bad I know about some of the things my dad did as a med student and that downloading illegal music is nothing compared to that.
Oh and I use the word parenthesis in class – then Mrs. McNeil screams at me for always talking like a brat and that I need to stop using my whiney negativity in her class. Excuse me – its called an AMERICAN accent. Haha
I’m going to Christchurch this Easter – to see family that I haven’t seen since 2005 – ooh that could be a big bowl of awkward!!!!
The kokon is coming up!!!!!!! YAY!!!!! On Saturday!!!!
And yesterday I went to Powell’s (and left at eleven, oof) and got The Ladies of Grace Adeiu, three Shakespeare plays in easier format than my several-thousand-page Complete Works with minuscule print (Macbeth, The Tempest, and Two Gentlemen of Verona, in case you were wondering), and a book of poems by Walter de la Mare.
And I still have a gift card for twenty dollars. Whee!
241- Welcome! *Pies* I hope you enjoy Museblog, and stay here always. I don’t think that HPBs can climb trees, but this thread may be able to help you…
somewhat exciting news
I’m going to a hat making class today at 6:00. yay. *is kinda nervouse because her friend who said she would do it isn’t gonna do it*
I saw Step Up! The first one. It was great. Although the main guy (Tyler? Something like that.) had a horribly gangsta accent that wasn’t his, and you could tell from a mile away.
I loved the opening dance sequence, because it had all these guys break dancing to Show Me the Money by Petey Pablo, and every once in a while it would show these guys dancing ballet to the same song, and it strangely worked. Who would have thought? Rap + Ballet= interesting combination for the beginning of a movie.
222 – I think my spelling voice is my natural speaking voice. I do have different voices I use when I act. For example, my Mrs. Greer voice was incredibly enunciated with a bit of a British accent. My Maria voice was somewhat hesitant and subdued to provide a contrast to Sir Toby and Sir Andrew’s boisterous speech and Malvolio’s pompous speech. It also helped me slow down my lines.
Today we got to go on a field trip to Navy Pier. We got to hang out for an hour and then go and watch the short Shakespeare (Romeo and Juliet) at the Shakespeare theater. It was really fun. Queen Francois the First and I had some lunch and then browsed the stores, spending a lot of time in the games store. Oh, and we bought some fudge. Then we went to see the show, which was really good. Then we were reading Queen Francois’s copy of Enthusiasm on the way home. It was kind of odd, but one guy wore a kilt to Navy Pier (this is the guy in a kilt who stalked us on Halloween also known as Malvolio).
240- ooh, fun! Powell’s is my favorite store I’ve never been to but have purchased things from! I was even in Portland this summer though only for a day or two and we had to visit colleges and then drive back to Seattle to catch our flight home and my parents didn’t let me go to Powell’s. Sigh.
Please note: RtH will not be on the blog until Wednesday (the 18th) evening or Thursday (the 19th). Please don’t do anything important that I would have been taking part in. This includes Zemtee business, museica/muserland business, kokonspiracy business, Seahawk business, etc. I’ll miss you guys! Stay safe! *Pies*
Oh, about the voices — sometimes when I’m surprised, like when someone says Hi to me that I wasn’t expecting, my voice will come out high. I don’t really know what it’s like normally, except sometimes people ask me if I’m British because they think I have an accent. What the heck?!? Maybe I have a slight accent and I don’t know where it came from, but it’s not really that noticeable and plus it doesn’t sound British. *shakes head* People are weird.
I have a hypothesis. Perhaps whatever is in that egg and behind that curtain will reveal themselves on… THE DAY. You know what I’m talking about, MBers. Hot Pink Bunny Day. The Day That Must Not be Named. *shudders* But that’s what’s going to happen, yes it is… *is wracked by spasms of divination*
ackgakjdfhalsjh PROPHECY TIME
THEY WILL EMERGE ON THE DAY OF HORRORS
AND WREAK HAVOC LIKE NEVER BEFORE
BEWARE, BEWARE!
THEY ARE COMING; THEY ARE ARRIVING.
SHADES OF MAGENTA AND ROSE!
Let me tell you it is hard to type with a splinter on the back of your right thumb. I am making finger puppets made of chiefly paper, markers, glue, and staples. One is named Bailey and the other one is named Tracy. Tracy has a purple skirt and a pink long sleeved tshirt with a red flower on it. She has brown hair in pigtails that stick straight up and tied with purple hairbands. Bailey has red frizzy hair that sticks straight up and has a green tshirt and aqua pants. Scary, no? We read Christmas Carol (God, some sixth graders are dumb) and I think Scrooge is a phsycopath. He has red eyes and wants to drown people in PUDDING!
I AM SO EXCITED!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!.
THE KOKONVENTION IS ON SATURDAY!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
AAHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHH!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
I am joyous! I am gleeful! I am jubilant! And I can think of nothing else!!!!!!! It will be so much FUN! And Opal’s not coming so I won’t have an annoying child clinging to me while I talk to my friends! YAY!!!!!
I will have Daddy bring his camera and take tons of pictures and I will send them here!!! Wheeee!!!!!
I. CANNOT. THINK.
!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
Re: Voices- Mine just went and DROPPED last April, and stayed that way. Not even the whole crackly thing. Although I still can’t sing as high as I used to, I can do SOME things that I used to with my voice.
My power just went off. Weird. And then went back on.
*shiver* THE BUNNIES ARE ARRIVING AND EFFECTING THE EVENTS OF THIS WORLD AS WE SPEAK.
263-ah, yes-weird, eh? makes singing different, though thanks to it I can sing a lot more songs…
just to put this since this page now includes ‘Life, the universe, pies, hot-pink bunnies, world domination, and everything’ I will give some virtual choklit(since I have no points) to whoever identifies what this should be.
newbies always assumed that they were the smartest creatures on the blog. They were wrong. They are the third. The second was the oldbies. The oldbies frequently tried to warn the newbies of the new coming forum, but the newbies only interpreted them as confusing posts. The last message given to the newbies right before the oldbies left was interpreted as an extremely long rant post, which actually meant, ‘so long, and thanks for all the pie.’
249 – OMG Step Up is my favorite movie – I watch it at least once a week!! I am going to see the second this weekend – I hope its as good. I love the dancing in the opening scene, the dance at the end that Nora and Tyler choreographed and the dance in the middle at the club where Lucy is singing. The songs are really good and the dancing is even better.
In my stage challenge dance, I get to dance with a giant candy cane!!!
271-*squee!* My favorite scene is the opening dance scene, but the showcase and Lucy’s song was awesome too. The song that they played for the showcase (by YoungBloodz, methinks) ain’t that bad either. I’m currently listening to Show Me Tha Money… the one from the opening scene.
I just like it because it shows ballet and break-dancing, which are two completely different worlds. But both dance to the same song, which is like saying that these two worlds are about to merge.
269- Humans always assumed that they were the smartest creatures in the world. They were wrong. They are the third. The second was the dolphins. The dolphins frequently tried to warn the humans of the coming danger, but the humans only interpreted them as clever tricks. The last message given to the humans right before the dolphins left was interpreted as an attempt to do a double back flip through a hoop whilst whistling ‘The star spangled banner’, which actually meant, ’So long, and thanks for all the fish.’
Well, tomorrow is a half day, and then SPRING BREAK! What’s not fair is that the past couple days the 5th and 6th graders have had this “royal court” thing instead of normal school. Some 7th graders are in production class, and had to help with it and miss class. No fair…
ONE WEEK UNTIL PRETTY.ODD! On MTV’s website you can listen to the whole album already, but I think that this is not fair. So. I will wait for it to come out, and hopefully be able to get it.
Spring break goes on until we come back on the 31st. I might be going to the beach.
Okay, so I haven’t been here in a while. Colleges are really starting to cut into my time, with visits and scholarships and such.
Here’s a summary of my life in recent times:
a) I’m now a book reviewer for my city newspaper. This is the first time they’ve had someone write for them who’s never had training, so we’ll see how it goes. If they decide to pay me, it’ll be $70 per review.
and my comment box just disappeared, so let’s see who many typos I make.
b) I started composing a cello quartet that has a definite heavy metal tate to it. It’s in for movements and sounds awesome.
c) okay. I give up. Let’s pucsh submit and see how badly I’ve done.
Hi everyone!! I’m back, after a week at Jamestown Settlement. This was Military through the Ages weekend, a great event where re-enactors from all different time periods come and do their thing at Jamestown Settlement. If Musers were there and saw a girl in a pink skirt, and blue bodice on the ships and didn’t talk to me I will never forgive them.
Anyway, I’m back now, and plan to catch up on all the GAZZILIONS of posts that have appeared in my absence. At the moment though I have pressig matters that require attention, viz.,, other threads to check, getting used to the blog’s new look and posting elsewhere….
Picky Shakespearean English question:
When do you use you and when do you use thee or thou? In Twelfth Night, Maria seems to use them interchangeably.
Examples:
“By my troth Sir Toby, you must come in earlier o’nights.” (to Sir Toby)
“Fare you well, gentlemen” (to Sir Toby and Sir Andrew)
“What a caterwauling do you keep here” (to Sir Toby, Sir Andrew, and Feste)
“Lie thou there!” (to Sir Toby, Sir Andrew, and Fabian)
RE: Shakespere fans (quite a lot of posts back, mind you)
I’m a fan too, I’m going to see Macbeth in a few days.
Heh, one day I was on the Disco. with Josh and we were quoting Shakespere at each other….fun.
288 – Fellow bardolaters unite! I am so glad my parents got a subscription to the Chicago Shakespeare Theater. And I’ve started quoting Twelfth Night randomly.
290~ Yup. I’m excited, it looks very dark, scary and weird. *shivers* and Kate Eastwood Norris (the actress playing Lady Macbeth) is really amazing, I saw her in Much Ado About Nothing. I’ll tell all about it though!
I think I will go sit in a corner and cry while pretending to be practicing my sing-song voice.
I hate monologues. Anything else is fine, but this is just . . . GOD. I HATE being on stage by myself. I’m going to fumble the whole thing, and I really, REALLY hope that they do the thing where just the directors and the teacher watches, because if I have the entire class watching me I’m going to die, while if only four people are watching (three of which I know fairly well), I think I can do it.
292 – We all had to do monologues as auditions for Twelfth Night (even the people who didn’t want parts). Mine didn’t go so badly, because I did the “Malvolio’s in yellow stockings” speech, so I was basically laughing the entire time.
294- Ooh. During Marvin’s Room some people were talking on the headsets about “the Scottish play” and so I said, being ignorant of that particular superstition, or at least not thinking about it at the moment, “What, Macbeth?”
Oh, yay, I’ve seen the Folger Theater before! I have one of those acid-free bookmarks that they have, although I’m not really sure where it went…
We’re reading Romeo and Juliet (actually, just finished) in English, and I’ve decided I want to read more of the Bard’s works (One day I’ll find and finish The Tempest…).
yes, my room is a mess…
279-Tehehe.
Unintended Pun is speaking in the third person today.
She can’t wait for spring break, and can’t wait even more for the day after the last day of her senior year.
Unintended Pun must go to the stress relief thread now.
*dies a zillion times in 5 seconds* *exaggerates*
Uuh, not much to say, really. I’m done practicing, and I had fun with that….I missed my violin so much last week. *sniff* it’s good to be reunited. I’m tired, but I’ll post a little bit more, since I didn’t get a whole lot done a the library, since I was wading through a weeks worth of emails at the time…..
278-that’s exactly what I wanted. I hope people enjoyed the parody(though that is not at all my true thoughts on newbies/oldbies). You get the choklit, cinamoon.
(287) I can help you sort out Maria’s use of “thou” and “you.”
You say you when you’re talking either
– to more than one person, or
– to one person and being polite (addressing someone you don’t know well, a respected equal, or someone who outranks you).
You say thou when you’re talking to one person and being friendly, superior (addressing someone socially beneath you), and/or contemptuous (“thou varlet!”).
Now for your examples:
“By my troth Sir Toby, you must come in earlier o’nights.†(to Sir Toby)
Sir Toby is a knight (hence the “Sir”); Maria is a chambermaid or lady-in-waiting. He outranks her, but the social distinction isn’t enormous. At the outset, they call each other “you” because they aren’t friends yet (whereas Sir Toby and Sir Andrew call each other “thou”). Later in the play, though, after they’ve been conspiring for a while, they switch to “thou” (Sir Toby first) — and, of course, at the very end they decide to get married.
“Fare you well, gentlemen†(to Sir Toby and Sir Andrew)
Plural.
“What a caterwauling do you keep here†(to Sir Toby, Sir Andrew, and Feste)
Plural.
“Lie thou there!†(to Sir Toby, Sir Andrew, and Fabian)
Here she’s talking not to the men but to the letter she is dropping for for Malvolio to find.
306 – So I was talking to the letter? Interesting. I didn’t really interpret it that way when I performed it, because I was facing the bush and hadn’t dropped the letter yet. And incidentally my teacher cut the part where Sir Toby marries Maria in our abridged version of the play.
It’s spring break! Or should I say it’s winter break the second. It won’t be spring here for another month at least.
308- *gasp* They ABRIDGED IT?????? *is horror-struck*
Well, I think my audition went fairly well, although I will have to do it again in front of my teacher because she wasn’t there today. I wonder what sort of part I’ll get. My Ophelia one was sort of “meh” because I felt weirder saying that one out loud (not sure why). And I’d blocked Rosey’s assuming there would be a table, which there wasn’t. Originally I’d done it sitting in the chair, and Ophelia’s on the floor (I really wanted Rosey’s to start standing, then just get lower and lower, but I forgot), but then Elijah had me stand up and do Rosey’s again, and it turned out much better. I actually did stuff with my hands.
One of the director’s wasn’t there, and so she’ll probably get the actors that the other two don’t cast, and I’ll probably be one of them (there are some very good actors in this class, and I’m not too great, just enthusiastic), and since she’s rarely there, I guess I won’t have much to do…. *sigh*
309 – Yes, she abridged it. You see, trying to get random eighth graders some of whom have had no experience with acting whatsoever to do a full length Shakespeare play is a terrifying prospect. Also, she decided that we had to cut the drinking references so that it would be appropriate.
I worked on the rose for Beauty and the Beast today… it looks spiffeh. We added a few extra petals with fishing wire on them so we can make them fall off the rose… and Amy got us mini lights so I was arranging those inside of it so now it glows and is so pretty ^^
But yes, haven’t been on much lately… tech till 5 every day then a lot of hw and stuff… but spring break is here w00t! We’re going to go skiing in Colorado, whee. So I probably won’t be on all that much then either…
Hmm. Now what happened today that was even mildly interesting?
PE- We played soccer and out team won about half the games. Which is good. And then I went skidding across the floor because my shoes don’t have treads anymore (they just kind of wore off), and I fell almost on my face and skinned my knee. But I like soccer. I put effort into it.
And then we played Ultimate Frisbee and O! the injustice! First of all, in the very first game, our team won. The game only took about twenty seconds, and so our teacher, for some reason, said, “No! You’re cheating! Start over!” (Which is sad, because I’d always liked him. And that was just mean.) So we started over and lost. And lost. And lost. And lost. In fact, we lost every single game we played after that. And then we concocted a lovely strategy that wasn’t entirely fair, but that was OK because it disintegrated after a few second anyway. The strategy was to simply stand in a line and hand the Frisbee across the gym, as it was not in the rules that one couldn’t hand the Frisbee to another person. But of course it was, we just didn’t know. And so after that failed, we all went up to the teacher rather grumpily and he informed us that we couldn’t hand the ball. Which made me very angry, because the yellow team had been handing the Frisbee to each other for the entire duration of the class! And I pointed that out to him, and the next time they did that he told them they couldn’t, but I was still mad. I don’t mind losing; I’ll lose very happily as long as I have fun, but I cannot stand injustice.
Grr. At least I didn’t make a scene. Our team of six had dwindled to a team of four by the end because people kept quitting. I just acted like I didn’t care. I’m good at that.
Math- Boring.
Lunch- Boring.
English- Pretty boring.
Tutorial- I went to the library because there was supposed to be an Improv meeting, and no one showed up. I learned later it had been canceled. And technically I should have been writing my Honors application. That made me grumpy. A waste of a perfectly good half-hour.
But there was chocolate cake when I got home, and the kokon in two days, so everything would be good if our living-room window would just CLOSE!!! The wind is blowing right through, and believe me, it’s not warm.
321- WHAT? Are you leaving?
I can’t stop you, but the blog won’t be the same. *sniff* Fare thee well, friend.
May your larder always be stocked with pies,
May your aim always be true.
May your days be free of those lagomorphs pink,
And full of of lagomorphs blue.
aw man. i’m so tired I can’t even think. I spent 3 hours reading the entire gunnerkrigg court archives which is like reading two and a halfsubsantially sized graphic novels. i feel like ice cream and tea. i need to go to sleep because i have a big day tomorrow. i can’t think straight right now.
I had a violin lesson earlier. We worked on Tchaikovsky and Bach. It was fun. I am tired. Three day weekend, yay. I got my SAT results today, and I’m pretty sure that I skipped like a page of teh math questions or something… oops. I’m going to take it again – my scores were good enough that colleges probably wouldn’t care, but _I_ care, and I can do better than I did. Yay?
Violin is fun. So are English class discussions.
I had a bad day today, but now it’s spring break, so that helps a bit, even though i have 7 book summaries to write. *dies 7 times*
Oooo!!! I got that program called Rosetta stone, the language one. It’s Latin American Spanish, and its really fun. The only English is in the main menu. It has really pretty pictures and it will either say or write something, and you have to match the picture, and sometimes it makes you say it, and it knows if you say it wrong! It actually does work like it says on the commercials.
330-i have never seen it and honestly never want to
i’m leaving for florida today. i actually really don’t want to go. 8 days of either rain or ridiculously warm weather (which i hate) with my family, including a wedding of some cousin i don’t know which i have to get all dressed up for, i’ll actually have to shave unless i want to die of heat in long pants (a definite no on my list), none of my friends will be there and honestly, i think i’ve seen about all there is to see in florida, or at least sarasota. we’re even staying in the same place we did last time.
if you haven’t noticed, i’m really not excited.
plus this is going to take up my entire break. and i really just want to hang out with people without worrying about homework for once.
321~ Aww, bye Kagy, I’ll miss you. It was really nice to get to know you some, good luck always!! *pies*
Last night was AMAZING!!! I went to see Macbeth at the Folger Shakespere library in D.C., and it was fabulous. There were lots of effects, but it wasn’t overdone in the least. Wow. Wow. Wow. It was scary, but thoroughly enjoyable. Off to the theatere thread!!
I hope this comment goes through, because I can;’t see what I’m typing at all–comment box shrinkage, and such…
Wow. I haven’t been coming to this thread a lot lately. I think it’s just that there are a ton of posts every day and I’m too lazy to read them all. *determined look* I’m gonna come back officially!
337) green man? Whoah………
338) Macbeth? Awesome! I love Shakespear!
Today is wonderful! It’s the first day of my spring break! *sigh of relief* And, starting Sunday, I can eat chocolate again! (I gave up chocolate for lent) I LOVE chocolate!
I always have the same exact conversation with this kid on aim. It always goes:
him: yo
me: hi
him: sup
me: nm
me: u
him: same
And thats it. Every single time.
Gaaaa! What it it?
as this was put on the old thread and noone will read it there
in september i found a black spot on my arm and it kept growing. then when it was the size of your pinky fingernail, i went to the dermatologist and they had to remove it. it was on my arm so i could see it and they only were abla to put 1 stitch in because i was close to throwing up.
It is only 1.75 million – we have underpriced it so it will sell!!!!
first post here and last post on the old thread
ooooh I ♥ the new picture it is soo scary im glad im over in New Zealand because it is VERY hard to get to but just to be safe i might dig a deep hole to hide in *gooes to find a shovel*
This is the sweetest picture ever.
i was just looking back at the threads from april 2006 – there are 2 threads that mean so much to me – theres my special first post thread which makes me probably the only MBer who has had their own first post thread and then there was the thread that was made when my mom had surgery for her cancer. Good times.
I think we should have another Boys Power and Girl Power thread they were so much fun….
Endeavour had a perfect launch at 2:28 AM EDT!
They’re carrying Canada’s Dextre robotic arm and the Kibo Japanese science lab.
Go Endeavour!
Eep! Scary picture! *faints*
*revives* I’ve been gone for a long time because I started a blog!!! I don’t think I can put a link, but here is the web address: [Sorry, Kokonilly. Addresses of personal Web spaces count as contact information and are not allowed under MuseBlog rules. –Robert]
Hoo boy. *hands out bunnyproof suits with the new depigmentizer guns in the fingers*
My english teacher today was sooooo far off! I wanted to correct her, but I didn’t dare. She said (something like this),
“You wouldn’t really put anything pink … on the cover of a scary book, would you?”
Can you believe it?
9-*sigh* English teachers these days… XD
Mine actually said, today, that Galileo dug up dead bodies to do experiments on. I didn’t think that was true… *looks up* He also said, once, that people who didn’t know what date the civil war started on shouldn’t be able to vote (or shouldn’t even have an opinion). Unfortunately, none of us did… (*hangs head in shame*) Oh well, with any luck the (eep) thing in the egg will take over, and then all will be… Well. Bunnies. Bunnies. Obey. Bunnies. *zombie walk*
Oh gosh the egg is almost hatched. *Whips out HPB repellent spray and sprays the whole blog*.
AAAAAAAAAAAAHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHH!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
Okay, so I just got home from my violin lesson, and when I turn on the computer there is this terrible sight to greet me!
the blog looks much better than it did two days ago, you must have gotten the “stickies” to work again? *hopes*
Anyway, I’m off to check the other threads!
*shudders* The picture…
Talent Show this week! Huzzah!
*Quarantines the eggs*
I have just discovered that chic flicks, two bags of potato chips, rum filled chocolates, a lap dog, a computer, and a soda is a sure cure for depression.
I really like the random thread picture, Rebecca. How do you get these brilliantly clever ideas?
Yeah. How??? Is it just me, or does the crack in the egg get bigger and bigger?
Runs awaaaaaaaaaaay….
So that was my day.
Gah! *hides*
I has nothing to say. Bye.
whoa, its hatching……..scary, isn’t it?
The yolk-type stuff is spilling out…
I’ve thought about doing that, but I never have.
I’m going off for the night. And, a notice:
Midnight Fiddler will not be on the blog untill March 18th.
I’m going to Jamestown, so I’ll be away from the computer (and thus, MB) untill we get home.
Untill then, pies, choklit and peace to all!
(Oh! AndHappy St. Patrick’s day in advance! That’s the day I’m coming home, but I might not get on before, so I’ll put in this post.)
Zoe, I didn’t know you came one day after me! Cool! *flings happy congratulatory pies*
5- AIT you were yayforhotpinkbunnies?
…grr name changes.
Also the meds wore off and now my stitches itchhhhhhhh… and kind of hurt when I stretch it (I try not to though or it’ll scar). *twitches in chair*
Also Happy Birthday DA you amazing frood. *throws towel-and-banana cream pies*
Foodfoodfoodfood. I’m making soup!
And I was going to type the Soup Song for you but I forgot it.
Although maybe it’s better that way.
36-Well I do like almost all types of soup.
35-hey, you sass that guy, DA? There’s a frood who knows where his towel is.
30 – OMG i forgot!!!!!!! YAY ITS MY BLOGGERVERSARY!!!!!!!!!!
33- thats really cool
34 – yep that was me I’ve changed so much…. i was a huge brat back then…..
39-never really knew you… don’t now. Hope to, though.
my parents are my saviors – they just sent me over a large package of swedish fish – something New Zealand does not have!!!!!!!! SO HAPPY!!!!!
40 – oh well i have been here for two years and im not really a brat now
POSOC sent us this lovely poster. He wrote, “Inspired by the Hare-Athon picture, here is something guaranteed to freak everyone out.” Works for me.
43- WOAH that is REALLY cool….
wow POSOC you must have worked reakky hard on that – it is amazing
43 – *laughs head off* That is awesome!
43- *screams*
43-Whoa!
Yup, here I am, in the middle of the day! Well, this might be the only chance I have to be on the computer, so I will visit a few threads now…
Oh, and bye MF!
Red-tailed HAWK

43- I WANT A POSTER LIKE THAT!!! Can’t we get something going with copies of that on the online store?
I just printed two copies of that poster out.
They’ll look great… when I have copied and pasted them to all my folders at school!!! Muhahaha!! Oh, um, is it ok that I printed? Or is that a no-no?
43 – COOOOL!!!!!
So awesome. Wowie.
43-Aaah! It’s amazing. *hides in bomb shelter*
As for Thursday–Exercise? Studying??
I’ll have to think about that…
51- No museblog. oh. Welcome, shopping!

AHH look at the egg! *is eaten by *
43-AHHHHH!!!!
52-I love fashion too, but you wouldn’t really know looking at what I wear most days.
Hmm. my day was ok. After school I walked to the library with my friends and we had a snowball fight outside. One of my best friends is leaving next week to live with her dad for the summer. He lives in California.
A lot of my posts have been getting eaten.
Hmm. My day was as follows:
My first thought when I heard my alarm go off was, “We don’t have school today, I can go back to sleep.” Luckily for me I woke up completely before I turned off the clock, because I did have school.
Before school I read Hamlet. In fact, all day I read Hamlet. It’s a really good play.
And then we played Bingo and I got candy.
55- Ooh kewl!
ME WANT SPRING BREAK NOW!!!!!!!!!!!
It starts for us in a week but I don’t like to wait!
58-Hello. If you are new have a pie *pies*.
That’s slick, POSOC.
My day included skipping school, because I’m at my gran’s again. Yes. I skipped school. Since yesterday. iI had aminor breakdown and needed to get away.
I’ll make a St. Patrick’s day card, since I didn’t make one for Valentine’s.
Could The Animals Thread be opened up again please?
Red-tailed HAWK

BEWARE THE IDES OF MARCH! THE BUNNY HATCHITH!
64-Hmm? I can see the last part
*Gasp*
*Waits for the thing to hatch*
Red-tailed HAWK

Yes, the poster is very cool…
65- Fare thee well.
As usual.
It’s so lovely and warm outside!
I’ve been singing all day!
I can’t wait for spring break!!!
Hmm. They say that it will be nice weather tomorrow. Sunny. Around ten degrees. I am looking forward to it!!!
isn’t ten degrees celsius arounf fifty-five degrees farenheit?
10 Celsius is 50 Fahrenheit.
Converting is easy: take Celsius, double it, subtract 10 percent, and add 32. “Ten times two is 20, minus 2 is 18, plus 32 is 50.”
68 – Another Shakespeare lover! I was in Twelfth Night last night. The play went pretty well, except that Olivia tripped over her dress/Sir Andrew’s foot and fell at one point.
The recent comments bar is back! Hallelujah!
71- *ooohhs*
Mmmmm. On my first chocolate ice cream cone.
Hmmm.i eat a lot of junk. And I don’t gain weight. I have a feeling that that’s not good. but, they say chocolate is good.
68/72- I was in Love’s Labours’ Lost. It was so much fun. Except- I really don’t like modern versions of Shakespeare. So the director had the intelectuals (us) suddenly break into hip hop. *roils eyes*
SPRING BRAKE! *breaks something*
Yeah, so I forgot all my lines.
Yeah, so I got a D+ in History.
Yeah, so I pretty much suck at life.
Get used to it.
I’ve taken to having four hour conversations with this girl named Clarissa who’s AWESOME. She thinks I’m pretty cool too.
I’m goiumg to watch some episodes of sex and the city and give the blog a rest. I love series where you can point and laugh at materialistic rich people.
I shall be back.
ohhh… Is fortune cell leaving…awww…
Bye, Fortune Cell, The blog with have yet another hole.
[/tears]
I don’t understand why so many people are leaving.
-43 Wwwhhhhoooooooaaaaahhh!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! i want a poster like that one!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
ahhh! I just realized that I passed by a great moment to say my word… I missed it… oh well. Groovy, POSOC. So there.
Something very strange seems to happen when the blog is updated. The GAPA’s names aren’t green, and the second of the three smiley guys at the ends of my posts turns back to text.
Bye Fortune Cell! It’s too bad you had to leave after such a bad time on the romance thread. Of course, no time is a good time to leave… I’m really not sure why everyone is leaving, TMFA, it’s really mind-boggling to me… Or mind-bloggolinging. whatever
Red-tailed HAWK

Where’s Grant, speaking of disappearances?
Hi Purple Panda! Nice to see you, I don’t think I’ve seen you a lot on the blog (I think also because it is so obvious people are leaving, whenever I see someone who I think I might not have seen recently I want to make sure they feel welcome so they don’t leave!!
)
In fact, I had mentioned Glassboro on a thread recently, I’ll have to find that
Yay! Break!!! I just got a haircut today
And we went on a woodcock walk this evening, and saw them!!
Hey Beavo! I’m on spring break too! *Excited* I’m tired because it’s a bit late, but I’m oddly full of energy at the same time
Red-tailed HAWK

Guess what guys?
I got a B- instead of D- on my third quarter math essay!
My teacher is finally being reasonable!
86- Are you leaving out periods on purpose, or is that just a freak of the keyboard?
87-Yay!
Everyone go check out Walter Lewin. He is a professor at MIT and he does stunts to teach science. It’s awesome!
Esquez me, but WE NEED MORE PEOPLE ON ROUND ROBIN SMILEYS!!!!
Seriously.
82- Hi Lizzie! Glad to see you again!
This thread seems to have disapparated from the main page
I’m working on poems that are due tomorrow … >_>; why do I always do this…
I haven’t been on a lot (again), but now I can’t tell you to go to my blog, because you don’t know where it is. Drat.
Anyway… the link has vanished from the main page and MB looks mysteriously blank!!! What happened??
Hey, guys! Endeavour’s crew completed their first spacewalk today, attaching part of the Kibo lab.
In the picture for the thread, is a second egg cracking as well? The really pretty one with the most white and the kind of flowery-looking bunny?
(95) Yup.
94- Our tech teacher talks about NASA all the time. He’s really boring though.
The blog seems to be slowing down more.
Happy Pi Day everybody!!!!!
3.1415926535897932364626………
Why is it Pi Day?
Because it’s 3/14!
PI DAY!
100- OOOOoooooohhhhhhhh. *does now understand*
Happy Pi Day!
Also I just realized I have the same little wicker basket the eggs are in. I’m not sure what’s in mine though.
97- I hope you don’t think the same thing about me because I talk about space so much!
I found out today that I got a Gold Key award in the National Scholastic Writing Awards!
Now it gets to move onto a more difficult level award, I guess — I’m not really sure how it works. But that’s really cool, because I’ve never won anything before for writing!
104- congratulations!
I wandered off to my math teacher from eighth grade’s room (he always has pie and he now teaches at the high school I attend) I didn’t get any pie though, blasphemy!
104- Congrats!
We got the biopsy results.
Belle has less than three months.
*dies again*
And the play is kinda falling apart, because no one will practice and the understudy for the main part can’t take the time to SIT DOWN AND READ HIS SCRIPT.
*to the tune of Nobody’s Perfect, Hannah Montana*
If you don’t practice
I’m gonna stab you
Again and again
Till you bleed and die!
If you don’t practice
I’ll come and find you
And you won’t have very long
So you better practice!
107- Who’s Belle?
Goodnight evryone!
(107) Beavo, I’m so sorry about Belle. Losing a pet really hurts. Animals touch us in such inexplicable ways. All I can say is try to make the most out of the time you have to say good-bye.
107- I can’t really put it any better than Rebecca did. My condolences.
107-
I’m sorry, Beavo… *sends virtual choklit, which doesn’t hurt dogs*
109- Oh
My most profound sympathies, Beavo.
Beavo- ah. I’m sorry. :cries: ;( ;(
You must be sad.
I’m bad at this…
(116) You’re just fine at this, TMFA. And so is everyone who has written. No one ever has the right words, because words can’t make the situation right. But you’re never wrong to speak from your heart when you’re sad for someone.
WHOA.
*wipes brow*
That was very strange. The blog went all blue and white and boring, and didn’t let me post. What in the name of all that is holy just happened?
And every time someone posts on the random thread it falls down the page.
119- The stickness feels more like a post-it than using tape.
Beavo – I’m so sorry that this is happening to you. At least you have time to say goodbye and everything. I don’t really know what to say.
103-Of course not. My teacher is only boring because he drones on forever. If you’ve ever seen Napoleon Dynamite imagine an older Kip teaching your tech class, and he doesn’t even pretend to be gangster.
It keeps changing!
…Although the last one was kind of cool.
I’m writing down all the themes MB goes through. I’d take pictures but I don’t have a camera.
I just figured out how to take screenshots! w00t!
I feel so incredibly ugly today.
It just became text for a minute. Plain black text. And now it’s normal.
127- Wow. I saw a white page, black text, blue links, and then later there was an orange and grey one, which I like a lot. I can’t find either of them on WP, and I didn’t know how to take screenshots at that point, so I guess I’ll never see them again.
Blue and white and boring! I’ll submit this, then hit refresh to see if the regular blog comes back. And if the GAPAs have any explanation…
Will I be able to post NOW?
HALLELUJAH!!!! It worketh!
uhoh…something wierd happened…..its all….blue black and white?!?!?!
something to cheer yurself up when your feeling horrible is The Beatles Here Comes The Sun….I feel happier now!…still ugly….*sigh*
what idid you do to make it work Alice—is it normal now???
Dearest GAPAs, please tell us what is happening! I am greatly confusèd and lost e’en in my native realm!
Thanks, you guys.
Well, I like the blog now, it looks more official, even though it’s, well, blue. And grey. And white.
Belle was a rescue, we got her when she was four. She had been left outside tied to a tree, and by the time the neighbor called the police she was so weak that she had maggots in her ears.
Beavo- Oh, that’s sad!
Sam- It’s very far from normal, but at least we can post!
There’s a recent comments bar now and everything! It’s starting to feel like home. *settles in*
I have an incredible ability to adapt.
Whoa! It’s all better!
Whoa.
It’s back.
Cool!
Sam – you lived in Botswana?? thats so cool!!!
Beavo – I’m so sorry. My dog isn’t dead but she might as well be because we cant bring her to New Zealand with us. Its reall;y upsetting because it isn’t the first time she will have been abandoned – we rescued her after she was found on the streets. At least we know the people who we are giving her to love her and she loves them…
So today was our school fair and I won a Cadbury Egg the size of my head in the tombola!!!! wheeeee.
Ugh stage challenge practice tommorow – ON A FREAKING SUNDAY!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
at least the recent comments bar is back up!
At the fair I brought a MASSIVE do toy for a dollar…I have no idea WHAT to do with it…it truly is big!!!
ah well
goodnight/goodmorning (depending on timezones etc.) all
Ssm the madly insane
wow…that was a long post
(POPO)
Beavo – I’m so, so sorry.
Before Christmas, our dog was put to sleep. She was very, very old and had trouble moving around. I know it is not nearly the same as it is for you; she was barely even there anymore when she was around.
142 – China? You’re going to China? COOL!
I need to put things on my guitar case so I don’t mix it up with other people’s. I have a Green Day patch. What else…?
114- Some badges/stickers from Musery Loves Kompany?
I’m sorry, Beavo.
My grandmother once went to Botswana, Sam!
Red-tailed HAWK

148- I don’t really agree with the letter–it sounds as though we think that if we’re in charge, everything will be better, which I feel is not the case. But whatever. It’s not a big deal.
What really irks me is the typo in the letter.
Kibo lab is fully installed, the astronauts entered it and had a dedication speech. Next up is adding to the Dextre robot.
so one of my friends is having a birthday party thingy. I wasn’t invited.
Yay?
152- isn’t it FREAKY??? the poor box…
Hey, GAPAs, have you gotten my e-mail about the St. Patrick’s day thingy`?
151- That sucks. I hate that.
152- I like sheep. Of course, I spent the past three years hanging out primarily with sheep, so maybe I’m a bit biased!
And unfriendly. My goal is to be more friendly in school, instead of cringing away from anyone who reaches out to start a conversation.
I don’t know that the box is smaller, but when you try to make it larger by pulling it, it grows but to read one half of your comment you have to use the arrow keys to move to the beginning of the line. And then you can’t see the other half! GAPAs, do you know what is causing this?
Red-tailed HAWK

My comment box is the same as ever.
158 – IE7 i don have Firefox
waaaaaaahhhhhhhhhhhhhhhh im stuck with a shrunken comment box FOREVER
My comment box is normal…I use Camino, which is like Firefox, except made for Macs.
160- Wait Firefox isn’t made for Macs? I have a Mac, and I use Firefox.
(154) Actually, zoe means life, CafePress offers a pretty wide selection of fitted shirts as well as the standard shapeless T. And the site gives you a fair amount of brand, material, and fitting information if you click through to the deeper layers.
Rebecca? Did you get my e-mail? About saint patrick’s day?
162 – interesting i will look into that this thread has dissapeared off the main page
164- Sure, no presure.
Sorry about that…
Red-tailed HAWK

170- Do you have OS 10.5 and/or Safari three?

Nope. I tried. I can not make the box bigger.
173- *gasp* O little question marks where hast thou gone?
Safari for Mac has the same size-adjustable box, but it had it before Hurricane Error too.
Alice (161): Firefox can run on Macs, but Camino is a Mozilla-made browser, designed specifically (and only) for Macs.
Rebecca – Wow, I didn’t notice that! Why are they gone?
NOOoooo! My question marks! *tries to replace them*.
(173, 176) The question marks originally popped up back in the early history of the blog when Robert removed the URL field from the comments box. We quickly grew fond of them, so he never tried to remove them. I guess the current edition of the software doesn’t mind losing the URL. *wishes the question marks well wherever they may be*
Thank gawd.
*clicks submit just to see what happened*
Um, yeah, GAPAs can zap the first one of the two, if they want to.
I certainly do, I hate double posting by accident.
oh my goodness!
True. But I am lazy, so I will write what I can’t see.
oh. does it still post if ya can’t see?
EEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHH!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! the new picture just apeared on my screen and scared me outa my wits. speaking of scary pink bunnies…. I know several MBers are scarygoround readers and the only reason i’m bringing it up is that the current storyline features a really scary pinkish rabit with fangs. go check it out @ scarygoround.com
It doesn’t seem like that egg is hatching. The one in the basket with a crack in it.
*goes to bed. * Sorry guys, but I am DEAD. *is so tired she finds this amusing. But then again, has just finished watching a vampire movie.*
Oh, Rebecca? Will you remember my St. Patrick’s day thingy?
When is Saint Patrick’s day, anyway?
185- Jeps.
I’ll see you guys tomorrow. Maybe. Wait, yeah, we will. If I can get up. It’s almost two. Should i go to bed or not? yes, I will.
Oh, and I have just discovered that Anne Rice is awesome.
(187) I won’t forget. St. Patrick’s is the 17th. Do you want to save it till then?
What, no Ides of March thread?
La Mort is in a very good mood right now, because La Mort went to a Dropkick Murphys concert earlier.
It was loud, and it was absolutely AMAZING.
(189) Well, I guess this ides has been sufficiently memorable without a commemorative thread.
OH GOD WHAT DID I MISS?
I just leaned over, and confronted my mom.
Me: “Oh. My.
194-Huh? *is confused*
I just remembered that the little sister of the HPB is on my bedspread. It is called My Melody, and it’s made by the company that makes Hello Kitty.
Oh. My. God.
everything has just been deleted off my ipod and the library with all my songs is still in New Jersey on my normal computer. I have no songs and i rely on my ipod for EVERYTHING.
I. Am. Dying
Rebecca? I would prefer if you posted it on the 16, as I may not be here on the 17 to enjoy it.
Oh. It’s a really pretty day outside.
Darnit. I am falling into another round of depression. /Must/have/sun/.
Naaaahhh. I’d rather stay here and read what you guys posted while I fell asleep.
189-Great! I’m so happy for you.
Sorry Beavo! Man, that’s got to be tough…
*Sorry pies*
It’s rather disturbing how frequently a few words have been used on this thread lately… *cough*
Come back my pretty question marks!!!
Heheh, wait a minute. I’ve fixed this!
Red-tailed HAWK

Erp, changed it again. I’m sorry for the second post….
To make this not pointless, I’ll talk about the weather:
Ah, well, folks, it’s cool and rainy out this morning! I thought it’d be moved through nice this morning. It’s s’pposed to move out and be right pretty out in a bit, but I can’t see it comin’ yet.
OK, enough with the accent. I’m sure you’d have been happier had I sent this in without the stuff about the weather. Anyway, good day! *Tips hat*
Red-tailed HAWK

YOUR ATTENTION PLEASE~~ agagabagabag, IBCF, TMFA, Cat’s Meow, Gimanator, VAXiDXVII, (if you’re still around, I don’t know if you’ve changed your name) Beavo, and KaiYves:
You all have positions in Zemtee and I don’t want you to forget. I’m not angry you haven’t been on The Zemtee thread but I want you to remember you have your place in Zemtee. Your opinion is very important, as in Zemtee everyone matters. I am emperor, but I want everyone to have a say. This can only happen if everyone is there…
Here are the current filled positions in Zemtee:
Red-tailed HAWK: Emperor.
agagabagabag: Great Commander of the Zemtee Army.
IBCF: Great Commander of the Zemtee Air Forces.

Gimanator: Great Chief of Exploration.
VAXiDXVII: Great Chief of Medicine.

If anybody on this random thread who doesn’t already have a position in Zemtee wants to come to Zemtee, you would be most welcome in any of these positions. It’s not complicated being in Zemtee, you just check on the thread and show your opinions. You have your virtual duties in your position too.
Red-tailed HAWK

Out of curiousity, what do the parentheses next to the “don’t forget these threads” mean?
ITS HATCHING! ! !,
who wants to bet its going
to be a HPB shaped
marshmellow peep! ! ! ! ! ! ! ! ! ! ! ! !
201- That’s who recommended the thread be put there. I haven’t been on one for ages…
Oh yes, I’m up early. For me. On a Sunday. Last night I dreamed about doing my monologues and they were very good, so I have to work on that.
(202) Now THAT’s scary.
202-EEK!
I could hear birds outside my window this morning. I wish I could have just stayed in bed and listened to the birds all day.
I love birds! *tries to fly* *fails*
The Dextre robot has succesfully been attached to the space station. (Insert Dexter’s Lab joke here)

I think it’s a hot pink chicken.
211- My voice gets a lot higher when I’m being polite, and pretty deep (for a girl) when I’m around my peers.
I have a tendency to mumble. My voice is pretty deep in general. High squeeky hyper voices annoy me.
211- Well, the higher my voice, the younger I sound, if you see where I’m going…
Hahah, voice volume… Well, my voice is increasingly becoming deeper, so I sometimes can startle myself by speaking:
Me: *Speaking*
Me again: *In head: wha-who?! Who’s talking?* *turning around* Nobody’s there!
Red-tailed HAWK

217- I remember there was quite the discussion of your voice when you were on the MuseCast. Everyone’s like, “WHOA! R-tH! You sound different!”
Good times.
It’s rather odd. My speaking voice is low, but my singing voice is rather high (2nd soprano probably).
I think I’ll go to bed now. Goodnight, sov godt!
I haven’t heard my recorded voice in a while, hopefully it’s closer to what I hear than it used to be… it sounded so high and squeaky compared to my real voice… though it was from 8th grade… but to me my voice is kinda low.
218-Hahah, yeah, that’s right
I can’t wait to hear what people have to say now. My voice is even deeper, and I will have a lot to say…
219-Is your spelling voice your speaking voice? Because sometimes people have a voice for normal speaking and one for speaking in public (like on a stage, or whenever you’re speaking to a lot of people…)
Red-tailed HAWK

I think my voice is low, but when I hear a recording, it’s really, really chirpy and high.
Weird!
43) Awesome…….
223) Hmmmm. When I record my voice, it sounds really annoying.
AH! The picture! Ah!
GHAAAAA!!!! What is that thing?

AHAHAHAHAAAAAAAAA!!!!!!!!!!!!

I think I recognize that engraving. It’s the White Rabbit from Alice in Wonderland. With a serious dye job.
(230) Oh, you are sooo close.
231- What? is it the same illustration?
230- March Hare! March Hare! mad hatter!!!!
233- March Hare! Mad Hatter!

(233, 234) ‘Tis indeed the March Hare of Tenniel’s illustrations — with a dye job, some shading, and a little eye surgery. (The fingers are mine.)
We have just picked up students from 3 of the other schools and we get to the last school. An assortment of people come on including 2 boys who take the two seats behind Zoe. Zoe is texting when she feels a bump on her arm)
(we set the scene. Zoe is sitting on the bus feeling sorry for herself because no one else from her school is on because she has to leave school early just so she can catch the bus that goes to where she lives. As she has just moved and knows NO ONE, no one is talking to her
Boy 1 – (whispering) – Hey apologize
Haha
I’m going to Christchurch this Easter – to see family that I haven’t seen since 2005 – ooh that could be a big bowl of awkward!!!!
wow long post…
oh and 168 – Sam is right. Its just NZ. it is a tiny island that is rather rainy and has crap shopping. I choose America
236 – i read long posts
SORRY FOR TRIPLE POSTING!!!
EGAD!!!!! Saints preserve us all! *faints*
Whee!
Can hpb’s climb trees?
240- Oh, so it IS on the 22!
*changes dates again*
224 – That explains a lot…
*sees picture* *gurgle* *rattle* *faints*
241- Welcome! *Pies* I hope you enjoy Museblog, and stay here always. I don’t think that HPBs can climb trees, but this thread may be able to help you…
I doubt that attempt at HTML worked. I’ll see…
*licks pie off face*
Thanks!
Yeah, I’m here.
Aaaaaaaa….
Very merry unbirthday
To me
To who?
To me
Oh, you!
Ah! *lightbulb above head*
I have an idea!
I have e-mailed the gapas with my idea.
GUESSS WHO’S LOVING THE PICTURE??????ME!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! *stops yelling* yeah, it’s awesome Rebecca.
somewhat exciting news
Yeah, I can’t see what I’m typing. Lo siento.
It was kind of odd, but one guy wore a kilt to Navy Pier (this is the guy in a kilt who stalked us on Halloween also known as Malvolio).
i agree, lurv the pic! *lurks*
240- ooh, fun! Powell’s is my favorite store I’ve never been to but have purchased things from! I was even in Portland this summer though only for a day or two and we had to visit colleges and then drive back to Seattle to catch our flight home and my parents didn’t let me go to Powell’s. Sigh.
250- yay, Polyhymnia’s book!
252- *splutters* You were in PORTLAND? Argh, we could have kokonvened!
253- only for two days! and I was busy with college visiting! sorry…
Hold Your Head Up High (reprise) from Honk is a great song.
254- You may have mentioned it actually. And if you couldn’t go to Powell’s, then you probably couldn’t have kokonvened either…
Ah well.
Stay safe! *Pies*
Oh, and Lady B.? I really like the picture now
Happy St. Patrick’s Day, and bye! *Waves* *pies*
Red-tailed HAWK

256- I’ll try!
Deimos and Phobos! That picture just keeps getting stranger and stranger.
*shakes head* People are weird.
ah… ah… GREAT STARCLAN!
I am now having a heart attack. THAT PICTURE.
Whew. *dizzy* What just happened?
MAXIMUM RIDE FOUR!!!m *huggles* It’s SO GOOD.
Aaawkwaaaaaaard.
But hey, it’d be a great way to go!
I AM SO EXCITED!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!.

THE KOKONVENTION IS ON SATURDAY!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
AAHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHH!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
I am joyous! I am gleeful! I am jubilant! And I can think of nothing else!!!!!!! It will be so much FUN! And Opal’s not coming so I won’t have an annoying child clinging to me while I talk to my friends! YAY!!!!!
I will have Daddy bring his camera and take tons of pictures and I will send them here!!! Wheeee!!!!!
I. CANNOT. THINK.
!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
Re: Voices- Mine just went and DROPPED last April, and stayed that way. Not even the whole crackly thing. Although I still can’t sing as high as I used to, I can do SOME things that I used to with my voice.
My power just went off. Weird. And then went back on.
*shiver* THE BUNNIES ARE ARRIVING AND EFFECTING THE EVENTS OF THIS WORLD AS WE SPEAK.
262 – Actually, my brother is planning to come, so…-hopes he doesn’t- -really, really hopes he doesn’t-
I’m also really hoping it doesn’t rain.
264- Ah, so there will be a child clinging to one of us while we try to talk. Glad to know we’ll never be lacking that.
265 – Well, possibly. My parents might make him stay home or drag him off to do something else for a while. Hopefully, since he’s incredibly annoying.
266- What are we going to do, anyhow? Any ideas, O-Girl-Who-Lives-Very-Or-Somewhat-Near-To-Spokane?
I’m going to bring my Muses.
267 – I really have no idea. We might be able to see a movie or something, but I’m not sure.
269- paraphrasing Douglas Adams, eh?
249 – OMG Step Up is my favorite movie – I watch it at least once a week!! I am going to see the second this weekend – I hope its as good. I love the dancing in the opening scene, the dance at the end that Nora and Tyler choreographed and the dance in the middle at the club where Lucy is singing. The songs are really good and the dancing is even better.
In my stage challenge dance, I get to dance with a giant candy cane!!!
EEEEEKKKK – i just noticed I have a peeling sunburn!!! when did i even GET sunburned is the question…
260 – Do you mean Easter, by any chance? *laughs evilly*
I might go to Las Vegas next week!!!
Dextre is now fully assembled and will be activated on flight day nine. Today marks one week of Endeavour in space!
273- She doesn’t mean Easter. *shudders* Let’s not have repeat that event, shall we?
On the bright side, if it does happen (AGAIN), I won’t have any distractions and I can work on my script.
But really, what are the odds that I’ll stay away?
*goes to “off with their heads!” thread* *brings back a load of HPB-proof suits*
Or there abouts.
278- Song Time!
*Hums*
So long and thanks for all the fish
So sad that it should come to this
We tried to warn you all but oh dear?
You may not share our intellect
Which might explain your disrespect
For all the natural wonders that
grow around you
So long, so long and thanks
for all the fish
The world’s about to be destroyed
There’s no point getting all annoyed
Lie back and let the planet dissolve
Despite those nets of tuna fleets
We thought that most of you were sweet
Especially tiny tots and your
pregnant women
So long, so long, so long, so long, so long
So long, so long, so long, so long, so long
So long, so long and thanks
for all the fish
(yeah)
So long and thanks for all the fish
So sad that it should come to this
We tried to warn you all but oh dear?
(oh dear)
Despite those nets of tuna fleets
We thought that most of you were sweet
Especially tiny tots and your
pregnant women
So long, so long, so long, so long, so long
So long, so long, so long, so long, so long
So long, so long and thanks
for all the fish…
The Principality of Sealand is a great place.
*jumps out of the water towards home planet*
Well, tomorrow is a half day, and then SPRING BREAK! What’s not fair is that the past couple days the 5th and 6th graders have had this “royal court” thing instead of normal school. Some 7th graders are in production class, and had to help with it and miss class. No fair…
ONE WEEK UNTIL PRETTY.ODD! On MTV’s website you can listen to the whole album already, but I think that this is not fair. So. I will wait for it to come out, and hopefully be able to get it.
Spring break goes on until we come back on the 31st. I might be going to the beach.
269 – Life, the Universe, and Everything?
Boo!
Hmm, so it’s the dolphins I should be studying and not the humans… Earth is stranger than I first anticipated.
So, PIES everyone, I’m glad to be back!!
Is it Teller’s Macbeth at the Folger? If so, lucky you. I couldn’t get tickets.
290~ Yup. I’m excited, it looks very dark, scary and weird. *shivers* and Kate Eastwood Norris (the actress playing Lady Macbeth) is really amazing, I saw her in Much Ado About Nothing. I’ll tell all about it though!
OH GOD. Tomorrow we have monologues.
290,291- I’m going to read Macbeth. But I haven’t seen a non-school play since October. Oh wait! The Ashland trip is coming up! HUZZAH!
290. 293- Shouldn’t you call it “the scottish play”?
Only if we’re superstitious, and acting in it. I’m neither.
Everything worked out fine, though.
Hey, I’m back, and on my own computer again, YAY.
I think I did something wrong. I tried to post a 100,000 digit pi on the pi day thread, and I got this message:
Fatal error: Maximum execution time of 30 seconds exceeded in /home/.helen/gapa/musefanpage.com/blog/wp-includes/formatting.php on line 33
Did I just destroy the thread?
Fortunately, our GAPA powers were equal to the challenge.
I was watching Happy Feet in class, but we had to leave just before the end! Phobos!
Beavo is supersticious.
Beavo’s friend set up a rehersal at someone’s house today, and Beavo plans to go. Beavo bettter blog it up, it starts at one.
306- that’s really interesting.
RE: monologues. I love monologues. probably because I like being in the spotlight (though I would never say that out loud.
*sigh*
Umm…
I just got on and found a thread with my name on it.
What Q & A question?
Me is slightly confused.
309 – Yes, she abridged it. You see, trying to get random eighth graders some of whom have had no experience with acting whatsoever to do a full length Shakespeare play is a terrifying prospect. Also, she decided that we had to cut the drinking references so that it would be appropriate.

First day of (Catholic) Easter Break!
I also have a headache. Meh.
*laughs maniacally for no apparent reason* (This is the random thread!)
314- It sounds pretty….. possibly a pic for Musers?
‘Ello, all!
I’ve been in Ohio for the past three days for a Model UN conference (representing Tanzania in the African Union). What have I missed?
317-COOL! ! ! ! ! ! ! ! !
317- Welcome back! *pies*
I don’t think you’ve missed anything, really.
I missed my name. We played mime dodge ball today which is one of the best games ever. it is 1000 times more intense than regular dodgeball.
good- bye. i don’t know if I want to post anymore.
321- WHAT? Are you leaving?
I can’t stop you, but the blog won’t be the same. *sniff* Fare thee well, friend.
May your larder always be stocked with pies,
May your aim always be true.
May your days be free of those lagomorphs pink,
And full of of lagomorphs blue.
probably.
aw man. i’m so tired I can’t even think. I spent 3 hours reading the entire gunnerkrigg court archives which is like reading two and a halfsubsantially sized graphic novels. i feel like ice cream and tea. i need to go to sleep because i have a big day tomorrow. i can’t think straight right now.
324 – Please don’t leave the blog Kagy. I’d miss you.
Aw, Kagz! You can’t leave! Well, you can, and I can’t stop you, but I’d be sad. Please, please don’t leave!
I saw Mean Girls today. It was really good.
Did I mention I”m really really tired?
I had a bad day today, but now it’s spring break, so that helps a bit, even though i have 7 book summaries to write. *dies 7 times*
Oooo!!! I got that program called Rosetta stone, the language one. It’s Latin American Spanish, and its really fun. The only English is in the main menu. It has really pretty pictures and it will either say or write something, and you have to match the picture, and sometimes it makes you say it, and it knows if you say it wrong! It actually does work like it says on the commercials.
321- I’ll miss you quite a bit if you choose to leave.
317- welcome back!
My friends and I had a board game night tonight and it was quite entertaining and hilarious. Even when the chair broke. We had fudge too!
326 – hahaa another one of my favorite movies – its one of those movies everyone sees at least once – wouldnt you agree?
330-i have never seen it and honestly never want to
i’m leaving for florida today. i actually really don’t want to go. 8 days of either rain or ridiculously warm weather (which i hate) with my family, including a wedding of some cousin i don’t know which i have to get all dressed up for, i’ll actually have to shave unless i want to die of heat in long pants (a definite no on my list), none of my friends will be there and honestly, i think i’ve seen about all there is to see in florida, or at least sarasota. we’re even staying in the same place we did last time.
if you haven’t noticed, i’m really not excited.
plus this is going to take up my entire break. and i really just want to hang out with people without worrying about homework for once.
>.<
Goodbye, Kagy. I’ll miss you
EASTERN WASHINGTON KOKON=TOMORROW!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
The crew of Atlantis tested a kind of goo gun to fix heat tiles that may be damaged.
334- I’m going bonkers. Atlantis was the last one. I meant “The crew of ENDEAVOUR” in that last post.
331- Yah! Sunday is when I’m going to Florida-land. It’s raining in Sarasota… nurrrrrrrr
I have rediscovered Tamagotchis! yay! And I think they’re even more fun than LASER POINTERS wow…
yay I have a mental health day today which means there’s school and I’m not sick and I still stay home. hehe… *sleeps*
I am making a green man mask. I’m kind of stuck now. The leaves don’t stick out as much as I’d wanted.
I hope this comment goes through, because I can;’t see what I’m typing at all–comment box shrinkage, and such…
333- And don’t you DARE forget where it is. Meow, you too (although you I’m less worried about ’cause Daddy has contact with your parents).
*is unbelievably excited*
I can’t wait!
I only hope I can find where we’re supposed to meet.
[A little snip to keep the location of the KOKON a secret from all but official attendees – Rosanne]
OK. I looked it up. Apparently it’s big. I can find it.
321) What?! Kag is leaving?!
321 – Aw.
Goodbye if you have to go..
339, 340 – I’m all hyper now.
Wait, that didn’t sound very excited.
I’M ALL HYPER NOW.
Oh, and if we can’t think of anything to do tomorrow, we could always decide to go see a movie or something. We’ll find something to do, I’m sure.
Are we getting a new on soon?
312) Bye Kagy~
I’m finally on spring break! This is nice.
335- What does it really matter? Nobody but me reads my updates about the shuttle anyway.
347 – I read them, but I don’t keep up well with this thread at all.
I always have the same exact conversation with this kid on aim. It always goes:
him: yo
me: hi
him: sup
me: nm
me: u
him: same
And thats it. Every single time.
I don’t think the picture has updated in the past few days. Has it?
