Ah! ‘Tis cool!
awww ! thanks Vixen. happy saint Pat’s to you too!
Welcome!
I suppose all the posts tommorrow will be in green?
That’s the first green bunny I’ve seen since I arrived on Earth. Reminds me of a species from back home.
5- I bred him myself. It’s gene variation AbBab.
i love the bunny!
7- He’s scheduled to breed on the twenty fourth if you would like a whelp from the litter.
Aww! It’s a NGB! Neon Green Bunny!
Happy St. Patrick’s Day everyone!
w00t! Thanks Vixen! That’s so nice of you! *Hands pies* *Key lime pies, of course

Red-tailed HAWK

Just a quick note that everyone who has postyed on this thread so far HAS been listed on the card, if you can read it.
happy pat’s day, Vixen!
Vixen, I had trouble reading it at first, but for some reason, when you click on the picture it is clearer.
Red-tailed HAWK

Ah! It’s so cool!
Happy St. Patty’s Day to you too!
13- It’s been scaled down.
Thank you! I love it… And the NGB looks rather charming in it’s hat.
Eek! I’m not on there!
Anyway, happy St. Pat’s Day to you too!
That bunny is SO cute!
Happy St.Patrick’s Day Everyone!
HAHA HAPPY ST PATRICKS DAY. too bad i ALREADY HAD IT!!! and it is now post – st patricks day for me!!!
16-*bashes self on head with various grammar books*
I refused to wear green again this year. Today always makes me feel grumpy…
Ahh! A bunny in my second favorite color! All it needs now is some black polka-dots…
Thanx, and Happy Patty’s day, everyone.
20- Why? i got over my fear of leprechauns and you can too.
I wore green…i made a bun in my hair, which i NEVER do, so everyone kept not recognizing me. The scrunchie had a frog head on it, so everyone kept asking, why is there an eyeball in your hair? it was cool.
Happy St. Patricks day!
Thanks, Vixen! And happy St. Patrick’s day!
Who was St. Patrick, anyhow?
25- One of the first missionaries to Ireland.
I’m wearing my Save Darfur bracelet. It’s green. I mean, sure, I wear it everyday, but today it’s also a Save Kai From Getting Pinched Because She’s Not Wearing Green bracelet.
Awww, thamks, Vixen!
I had to take off my hat in PE. *is mad*
I wore a green shirt today. And drew a shamrock on my hand. And ended up going home early anyways, so it didn’t really matter. Ah well.
Patrick had an interesting early career. A Roman citizen (real name: Patricius) born in Britain, he was captured and enslaved by Irish raiders, worked as a herdsman, escaped back to Britain, and later returned to Ireland as a missionary. You can read about him on Wikipedia at http:// en.wikipedia. org/wiki/Saint_Patrick
Mother always frowned upon St. Patrick’s Day, so I was sort of raised believing that St. Patrick sent all the poor snakes away. I have a rather fuzzy image I constructed at a young age, of a giant man wearing green walking into the water, with a host of snakes swimming before him.
Of course, he was a missionary, so I’m still sort of disapproving, but it’s nice to know that he didn’t cause the death of thousands of snakes.
That picture is funny, but I like it. I looked through the names and found ‘I, man-gator’ on it. :laughs to himself.
Hey did anyone ever read Time Cat? D: Cause there was a whole chapter on St Patrick and what Robert said made me think of it…ahh I loved that book.
On a more related note, for dinner we had corned beef and cabbage as is decreed by the Irish powers of the universe. XD I’m gonna go listen to some nice Celtic music, if only I could find my mom’s cd….
I wish I spoke Gaelic DDD: WHY ISN’T GAELIC OFFERED AT SCHOOL
33- Gaelic would be sweet. If anything, I want to speak it more than Welsh. *wishes she had a Gaelic name with lots of “dh”s*
33 – Gaelic? *is doubtful* Does anyone ELSE speak it nowadays?
I haven’t a drop of Irish blood, but I wore green. No pinches for me!
(31) No, Patricius wouldn’t even have seen any snakes in Ireland: glaciers had eradicated them tens of thousands of years before he arrived. As the glaciers melted, snakes recolonized Britain from mainland Europe, but rising seas kept them from reaching Ireland. And it wasn’t just snakes. In general, Ireland and other western islands have less biodiversity (fewer types of native plants and animals) than Europe does, and Britain is in between.
Speaking of which:
(Midnight Fiddler)
– Please stop.
37- Haheehohaheehahahaheeheeho!

(Me)
(Me)
(Me)
17- yes you are.
Hey, thanks!
So, what I did for St. Patrick’s day; we went to a concert of all glass instruments, and heard Danny Boy and Irish Washerwoman played on the Glass Armonica, then we got in the car and drove for several hours, to get home. During this time I slept and listened to the Bothy Band and Poisoned Dwarf.
When we got home I perused the mail, cut off a weeks worth of fingernail growth and played fiddle tunes untill after 11 PM, then went to bed.
All this was done, I might ad, with green hair.
No, don’t worry HAWK, I haven’t done anything rash, only four small streaks put in with a washable marker; they’re all gone now.
37~ I didn’t read that before, I was on a race with the timed library computer sessions…. Heh, I like it. Si Bheag Si Mohr is one of the most beatiful tunes ever, in my not-very-humble-opinion. It’s the Irish tune that made me want to play Celtic music in the first place, actually.
35~ Yes, Gaelic, or Irish, is spoken in Ireland. There are some towns that are only Irish speaking, to help preserve the language and keep it from totally dying out.
Ho do you do the pink bunny? Hey, even though St. Patty’s day was yesterday, to me it still counts. Who’s wearing green? *silence* Nobody? Well, then… *pinch* *pinch**pinch**pinch**pinch**pinch**pinch**pinch**pinch**pinch**pinch**pinch**pinch**pinch**pinch**pinch**pinch**pinch**pinch**pinch**pinch**pinch**pinch**pinch**pinch**pinch**pinch**pinch**pinch**pinch**pinch**pinch**pinch**pinch**pinch**pinch**pinch**pinch**pinch**pinch**pinch**pinch**pinch**pinch**pinch**pinch**pinch**pinch**pinch**pinch**pinch**pinch**pinch**pinch**pinch**pinch**pinch**pinch**pinch**pinch**pinch**pinch**pinch**pinch**pinch**pinch**pinch**pinch**pinch**pinch**pinch**pinch**pinch**pinch**pinch**pinch**pinch**pinch**pinch**pinch**pinch**pinch**pinch**pinch**pinch**pinch**pinch**pinch**pinch**pinch**pinch**pinch**pinch**pinch**pinch**pinch**pinch**pinch**pinch**pinch**pinch**pinch**pinch**pinch**pinch**pinch**pinch**pinch**pinch**pinch**pinch**pinch**pinch**pinch**pinch**pinch**pinch**pinch**pinch**pinch**pinch**pinch**pinch**pinch**pinch**pinch**pinch**pinch**pinch**pinch**pinch**pinch**pinch**pinch**pinch**pinch**pinch**pinch**pinch**pinch**pinch**pinch**pinch**pinch**pinch**pinch**pinch**pinch*
43` By typing : idea : without the spaces. It comes up when you submit the comment.
Ohm and I am wearing geen still, so don’t pinch me. Are you new? If so, have some pie! *pies agressively*
*pies I have a pie* *SPLAT SPLAT SPLAT SPLAT* That was key lime, apple, banana cream, and pumpkin (repectively).
Happy St. Patrick`s Day!!!!!!!!Now im glad im irish!!!! woot!
Yeah, I’m, like, one quarter Irish, one quarter British, forty-nine percent Scottish and one percent everything else in Europe.
Except, like, Ukrane or something.
I should make a shirt that says “Kiss me! I’m one quarter Irish!”
I’m half Irish, half Polish. My last name has 13 letters and ends with ‘ski’.
I was in DC during St Pattie’s. There was a honking parade and stuff.
*checks Dictionary of Saints*
Our esteemed GAPA is right, of course. Nothing about snakes in here. St. P. is ” enshrouded in myth and legend.” He did teach the Druids Latin, though.
No! I had gigantic post, and then the computer killed it. I’ll try to remmeber:
I think people on the Aran Islands, especially, speak Gaelic, though I’m not sure. Also, was Si Bheag Si Mohr composed by the “last bard” Carolan? Because I think I may have heard it, if so.
22-Tehehe. No, the people in my school are just annoying and stereotypical, and they make jokes about green beer and leprechauns and try to have funny accents. Meanwhile, I lived and went to school there for six months, and am almost totally Irish, and, well, yeah. It’s (obviously) not like that. And, I guess, deep down inside, that I think I shoudl get more attention about it, but nobody in school even remembered. So, I’m sut attention-seekin g, really.
*analyzes self* *fails*
lso, I was going to say that using the toolbar spellcheck makes the comment box temporarily un-shrink, but I think that was what may have caused my comment to die, before, si I’m not going to try it this time. lthough it may have bebeen a useful discovery. Therefore, pardon my spelling and grammar, and not-being-able-to see while I type./
50~ As far as we can tell, Si Bheag Si Mohr was the first song that Turlough O’Carolan wrote.
I love about every song of his that I’ve heard, they are some of the most beautiful pieces ever.
*block pinches* I’m wearing green; have been since 3/17. I’m wearing green right now.
I wore gratuitous amounts of green on the 17th. It was so much fun!
I’m half Irish, half Italian, but I’m full Irish in my mind.
And I think I’m going to try to learn Gaelic. Such a complicated language… so many rules… o.o But I’ll manage it somehow.
Right now, I am wearing all blue, but I did wear a green shirt on the 17th with a long, black skirt, because my mom was convinced that we had to dress up for the Navy Pier field trip never mind that everyone else wore jeans. Someone once said that I look Irish. Nothing could be farther from the truth. I’m 100% Jewish: 25% German and 75% assorted locations in Eastern Europe primarily present day Romania and Ukraine.
53- My first name is Gaelic; Sianna. It means Jane. (named after my grandmother).
55- That’s such a pretty name!
56- it is. possibly two of my favorit irish names are diarmid and kieran. they flow over the toung and stuff.
Mmm, Gaelic. Sounds like garlic.
Well, I don’t taste like garlic… but thanks Alice and Kagy for saying my name’s pretty!
55-You were in DC?! We could have had a kokonvention!
59-It is pretty!
41-Hahah! No, I’m not worrying about anybody anymore. *Chuckles*
Washable is certainly a good thing. But I’ve come to realize that I couldn’t do anything to stop anyone from doing anything to their hair anyway, so I might as well spend my effort on something useful
Red-tailed HAWK

59~ It’s a beautiful name. I agree with HAWK, why didn’t you say you were going to be in DC? We could have met you!!!
