I have my towel! And I convinced my mom to keep a washcloth in her purse, and I think my dad has a smallish towel…I wonder what my brother will do. Hopefully he’ll carry a towel too.
On another rather nerdy website that I’m on, I started a poll asking if people were celebrating, and there are already 6 votes, all for “yes!” I am happy.

RIP Douglas Adams! There’s going to be bunches of people roaming my city today for a Beatles festival, so I’m hoping to see more people with towels in the crowds.

I am carrying around my towel with Winnie the Pooh on it. “‘P’ is for Pooh, the best kind of friend.” it was my favorite of the towels I could find. I haven’t gone outside yet, so its impact is limited. I may walk around the block (cul-de-sac to those of you who may be mislead to think I live in a city) later.
I can remember last year’s towel day thread. Will there be pictures at this one? Am I too old?
OMG! I hadn’t even realized what day it was. Unfortunately, my towel is going to have to be rather subtle, because I am going to someone’s house for dinner. But I suppose I can bring around a large turquoise one until then.
I’ve never read those books.

I was so busy thinking about Phoenix that I forgot! I can get one now, but I’m in the house, so I don’t know if it matters.
I carried a beach towel around all day. It was actually rather convenient, because it was a bit chilly so I wore it instead of a jacket. My mom had a washcloth in the strap of her purse, my dad had one in his pocket (so no one could see it, but at least we knew it was there), but I couldn’t get my brother to carry a towel of any sort. And he is very nerdy and likes h2g2, I think he just refuses to participate in things that I do, even if he would like them otherwise. Which is very annoying.
Anyway, today i met a friend for lunch and then math circle, and she wasn’t aware that it was towel day, but during lunch I convinced her that she needed a towel so she actually went and bought one (with dolphins on it!) before math circle.
Besides that, though, I saw no one with towels. That was terribly disappointing.
My mom washed all our towels today, so I couldn’t get to any. Well, I could have found one if I looked harder, but I was too lazy. Besides, I didn’t know that it was towel day. *sighs* Oh well, there’s always next year.
Oh yeah, had mine with me all day today ^^ Or at least the part I didn’t sleep throgh, was in bed till 12:18, yesss. But I took to to Iza’s birthday party, from 4-10, and wore it around
K and J even used it stretched between them to try to stop goals when we played soccer since they kept missing XD Good fun.
And it was windy, so it billowed beautifully when I was walking, whee.

i was going to bring it to the asianfest, but i accidentally left it at bill’s, where i think it is still (yes, embarrassing story of the year…i’m now not completely sure where my towel is. meep)
Oh yay, towel day!!!!!! I’m going to sun myself on a towel in a few minutes. Just couldn’t help checking in on MB first.
I didn’t realize it was towel day, but luckily I went swimming, so I did have a towel for a bit.
Towel Day Report: Fell asleep with my towel on the night of the 24th, woke up with it, carried it through a walking tour, despite people giving me wyrd looks. Brought it to my friends house, where he took a towel as well. Kept it until 12:00, May 25! Mission Accomplished: 12:00-12:00! I used my sushi towel!

Yesterday my mom bought me a purple towel. 2 days AFTER towel day! oh well, next year. It’s striped with dark and light purple. According to the label, the two colors are “polka purple” and “vibrant orchid.” This annoys me very much, because I don’t know which is which.

Hello ape descendants, I am back. Sadly i forgot towel day but i do have a question about hg2g. I have heard it was a satire, but sadly(i know) I cannot for the life of me figure out what the satire bit is about. Can someone please Help?
