Woot, go speller! Invitation appreciated, but I am not very conveneintly located! ; )
Aw… I want to go… but I can’t…
I would love to come, but alas, I have to stay on NH.
Maybe someone could bring a laptop and say hi those of us not in DC?
i would love to, but i can’t-wrong side of continent.
sounds cool, but a little far
I second the laptop notion!
Hmmmm… lets see if I skipped the last day of school tomorrow and changed my ticket to an indirect flight to Massachusetts
(I’m flying there after school tomorrow) through D.C. then I could make it to lunch with Robert, I’ll go ask my dad! NOT! ! ! ! ! ! ! ! ! !
Can’t come. But when you see Discovery take off at 5:02 Eastern, think of me.
I’d love to come, but I’m much too far north. And I’ve got a massive orchestra concert… Great to hear you’ve gotten so far, Speller!
aaahhh…I’m on the other side of the country so I don’t think i can come, but good luck Speller!
Sorry, I would absolutely LOVE to go, but, I’m all the way in the mid west.
Alas, I will be in Las Vegas, which is slightly closer to D.C. than I normally am, but still not nearly close enough. Where are you having lunch? Maybe someone can bring the picture from my lunch with Robert last year, and you guys could just pretend that I’m there? Or something? Or not.
4-yes. I’m completely on the other side I’m afraid. California coastline… about…
I’m in Mass., so I don’t think I could come. Have fun!
Best of luck, speller! I would go if I could, but I’m trapped in no-musers’ land, KY.
May 31st?
*runs off to check calender*
Yay! Nothing’s happening that day!
13- You, me and La Mort shou;d schedule a Kokon sometime. And anyone else in that area.
You know what sucks wicked bad??? The private school I’m going to next year is going to DC this weekend for a field trip. And if I went there this year, I would be a ble to come. You know how devestating this is to me?????
16-Kai is near here too! Let’s do one this summer!
17- On the Spokane Thread we were talking about the American Museum of Natural History (In NYC) sometime in July.
18- I can work around that! There’s nothing interesting in July except for the Fourth and a Paramore concert coming to Rhode Island. Though, praps it coul be somewhere closer? Like, Boston would be fabulous. And I could bring my friend Olivia, she’s been wanting to be a MBer for a while… *plans ‘n plots*
Boston or New York works for me! Around here are: Myself (Bookworm), Kai, MissSwann, La Mort, and possibly Hypatia!
20- And a friend of mine who went on here once and plans to again. I would prefer Boston; my parents aren’t really willing to drive to NYC.
Where does Hypatia live?
20/21-Hypatia ain’t planning on telling just yet, ’cause Hypatia is internet paranoid as can be. Hypatia feels bad that she is so hoardy with her whereabouts, but this is Hypatia’s first venture into the world of internet communication, hence her wariness.
Somewhere in the NorthEast…
Hello everyone!
I am here at the National Press Club, which is pretty cool. I’m very happy, because I still can’t believe that I came in 4th!
23-Correct! Once I turn 14 (on August 15) I will consider disclosing something a pinch (mind, a pinch) more accurate. But, ’til then…
That means you wouldn’t consider coming to a July Kokonvention…
That would be awesome! But, alas, the only time I have ever been in DC was in 5th grade for a field trip. The rest of the time, I am on the waaaaaayyy other side of the continent. (SF bay area.)
And it’s today, isn’t it?
27 – They already had it, I think.
26-Probably not, sorry! Anyway, I am in camp for all of July (this was a purely hypothetical statement relying solely on the assumption that I actually could come to New York, which may or may not be true!
)
(27) Yes, all done now. Great fun it was.
30 – *is jealous*
It was a historic occasion, too. I’m sure nobody else had ever eaten lunch at the National Press Club wearing a MuseBlog Signature Edition “Fear Me” Bunny T-shirt.
32- what was it?
25- *double take* WHOAH! You’re 13????? Holy… wow. Didn’t expect that, to be frank.
32- Roooobert, you’re advertising to us again… *snort* giggle* OMG LOL ROFL I’M LAUGHING REALLY HARD IMAGINING THAT!!!!!!!!!
29- Awww. That sucks.
34-*very slowly* Did you think I was older or younger? (Naw, just kidding…I am genuinely curious, though, because mostly I get something along the lines of
You’re thirteen! Um…no, of course I didn’t think you were an extremely tall 8 year old. This is of course due to my immaturity, which I unabashedly parade in public)!
32-*vehemently protests the lack of pictures* What are we poor photo and kokon deprived bloggers supposed to think?
35- I get that too, except it’s “OMG your 10? I thought you were 13,” *pretends is friend and has sarcasm in voice* “Your actually 10? I thought you were 5!” *sniggers* when people ask which one is older, me or my twin, when I say I am they are like, “really? I thought she was,” even though I am like 5 inches taller than she is. She says it’s because I act so weird. I am like a freakishly tall first grader.
36- Why does this always happen to ME!?
32-But she was NOT the first to wear a Musery Loves Company shirt to the National Press Club. i wore my PWT PWNS one last year
When I turned twelve, EVERY SINGLE MOM AT DANCE CLASS thought I had turned eleven. I felt extremely depressed.
35- I actually thought you were a wickedly smart and mature 10 year old.
Please don’t pie me!!! I don’t really know where I got that!
39- NAWT as bad as every mom on the soccer team asking if you were turning 14 when you were turning 11. *crys* Curse you, God of bra sizes!!!!!!!!! (and height) (and voice changingness) (and everything else that makes you look 16 when you’re really 12)
40-Well, I personally think that it’s better for people to think you’re older than you really are than for people to be surprised when they find you’re older than they thought. After all, it may not just be bra sizes, they may have thought me younger because I act kind of…weird.
So I guess no one is surprised I’m 10? Ok than, I am surprised. YEAH! I’m happy too, very happy! Very, VERY happy! I actually got on Museblog when I was 9. Just to say.
I came here at age 9.
Not many people attempt to guess my age. Or gender. Kokonilly is rather gender-neutral, but I shall throw this out:
I am an eleven-year-old girl.
I came here at age………… 10. I think…. *checks Who’s Here* Yup, 10.
I am a 12 year old girl. I have a horse, 2 goats, 3 cats, 1 dog, and 2 hermit crabs.
42- You’re a very mature 10 year old, though. GO BANANAS!!!!!!!!! was a little (a lot) newbish 24/7 (no offense) and there are a LOT of 5th graders in my school that act like kindergarteners.
44-
I’m in 4th grade
I’m going into 7th Grade, aged 12 3/4!
45- And you are very mature. And awesome. You like the beatles. (can’t say that for ANY of the fourth graders in my school…)
46- Me too! Only I’m not 12 3/4. I’m more like… 12 1/12.
My brother’s in 4th Grade, and he likes the Beatles! However, he isn’t mature…
48- Please tell your brother he is so flipping awesome I just can’t even stand it.
I’m in 8th grade. And turning 12 in July!!!
49-Fine, I will…
