Hmm… Mine is no where near finished, and I have no plans to finish it soon – should I still send it?
I’ve been reading Kiki’s. At first I was put off a little bit by how half a dozen seemingly unrelated characters were introduced in the first couple of chapters, but now I can see how they’re beginning to come together. I think I can see a group dynamic forming… Kerynne is obviously in awe of Benevolence, who’s an incredibly bad role model (an angel anarchist? From what I remember, that description fit Lucifer quite well). I doubt Max is going to be very happy with this…
I’ll send mine. When it’s done. (never, probably)
As far as I can tell, Cradleflame has several unique and interesting concepts and characters. Quite good, for a NaNo. Mine’s probably worse, but others can be the judge of that. (Hint, hint.)
Eeee thanks for reading it, POSOC! I’m currently doing a buttload of editing/revising so the story on my computer now is a bit different from what you’re reading.
I only read about half of it so far… studying for midterms, uggghh. But I’ll do my best to finish it this weekend.
Only five posts since this thread went up? I was expecting a few more. Last year’s had… *alt+tab* *checks* 59 posts on the first day. I suppose the novelty’s worn off by now, but really… have we lost sight of what’s important?
Aw CAKE. My wung-buttoning NaNo got cut off somehow. Just a minute, how can I fix this…
OK, just to make it clear, everything between the landing in Sydney and the Cast of Characters vanished somehow during the copy-past process. Here’s the rest of it, with a little bit added on each end, for context. Warning: LONG. Also warning: CONTAINS MASSIVE SPOILERS. GAPAs, if you could somehow use your awesome HTML-fu skills to get this into the actual Google Doc, I would greatly appreciate it.

[Done. Check to be sure it’s okay. –Admin.]
Oh, thanks. It’s perfect.
I have no time to read them now, but I promise I will, sometime this week.
9- Thank you. I’m looking forward to feedback.
-sigh- I don’t know if I can handle this, honestly. I mean, I managed to get through November by not even thinking about it, but reading the novels might be too much…
By this time last year, the NaNoNovels thread had 83 comments. Funny.
Anyway. Perhaps we’d attract more people to this thread if more people sent in their novels.
Hint, hint.
12- Last year there were like four NaNo threads of about 500 comments each and half the MB was participating.
I started Cradleflame. So far, so good.
Now I’ve got to go clean up and find dry clothes so I can go risk my neck walking on the icy streets! (Yes, I do this voluntarily. Why do you ask?)
13- Exactly! What happened?
14- Since last November a lot of people have vanished and a lot of new people have come on. Maybe the new people just aren’t as interested. I think that the average age of active Musers has gone down, or seemed to go down, which might have something to do with it.
I fully intend to read them…..but right now, I am much to busy cramming for finals, and don’t really have time to read them. Perchance I will have time over break, or else I will read them in January after school starts back up…..It’s just, I know once I start, I won’t be able to stop, and I don’t have time for that now.
(14, 15) Maybe last year’s NaNo was the unusual one. Or it could be cyclical. This year was more like 2006. More MBers signed up in 2008 than 2007, but fewer of them posted a word count.
Here’s a list of known MBers who crossed the 50,000-word threshold. Let me know if I left anyone out.

well once i find my flash drive i will send mine in…but i kind of lost it
*meep*
Eheheh… mine’s a continuation of last years. I don’t have time to read/send anything till friday at the least. Finals this week x_x
So, should I send mine, albeit unfinished, anyway?
12-Haha, was like “wow, he should add ‘hint, hint’ at the end of that” and then I noticed that you did.
Yeah, no developments on the novel. I’m not really doing anything with it.
Should I edit the cussing out before sending it, or are we mature enough?
20- Yuss, please do.
20- Yes, do! *wants to read*
20-mine is always unfinished, it’s ok
it’s actually a good strategy-leave us in suspense and we’ll keep getting on you to finish it. so you don’t forget.
i didn’t participate in NaNo but it inspired me to write a novel myself. i am working on the prologue. currently, caper lindstom is in thhe cockit of an airplane that is being shot down by some german dude for no apparent reason
i started reading cradleflame
Ok. I’ll send it as soon as my dad gets the wifi up so that I can get internet from my laptop where the nano is stored.
Yayyayyay! -runs off to read Windhenge-
I’ll read Cradleflame after that, Kiki.
I just finished Chapter 6. It’s good so far.
Hey guys! POST YOUR NANO NOVELS SO I CAN PUT THEM ON MY KINDLE BEFORE THURSDAY! PLEASE!
Cradleflame and Windhenge are both really good, by the way. I haven’t read more than two chapters of either though, as I am saving them for my relatively bookless three months of winter. Expect to hear comments from me when I come back.
POSOC? I’m very confused. In… chapter seven, Merlinus is saying something, but it gets cut off, and then there’s a lowercase i on the line below it, and then a bunch of spaces and then the story picks up and there’re a bunch of characters I’d never heard about.
And then the next chapter heading is chapter fourteen.
GAH! I’m so confused!
