We had just burst out of the stairwell when Invisible Girl and a horde of other heroes and new faces met our eyes.
“Well, it’s about time!” I grumbled.
“Who’s this?” asked Kokonilly, pointing to the girl by Invisible Girl.
Invisible Girl sighed. “This is Tasha, everyone. Tasha, meet Kokonilly, Psyche, Delta V, and…who’s that?” She pointed to the angry boy on my right whose skin was turning the color of a dusty door hinge.
“This is Slate, ” I said. “He’s an experiment from the lab.”
“Well, now that roll call’s over, what’s going on? What have you found out?” asked Delta.

“Uh, LONG story,” says Carrie.
“Did it involve finding a long-lost sister?”
“Two,” says Rainbowstar ruefully. “And both of them are working for Mr. Joe.”
“Oh, really? So’s mine. Everyone, this is Tasha Stevenson… but her real name is Natalie Stevens. She lost her memory, couldn’t you guess? But yeah, I happen to be her sister Katrina. By the way, Tasha, have you decided about working for Mr. Joe yet?”
“You heard that?”
“Uh, yeah, I happened to be invisible. I managed to get a bunch of information, too.”
“Look, I don’t know what’s going on with all these… ‘superheroes..’ but I happen to be a vampire.”
“That’s nice for you! I happen to be able to put up a forcefield, among other things,” says Kokonilly conversationally.
Tasha rolls her eyes.

Mr. Joe is creating an army of Mary Sues to make the world perfect. So far, the base has been bombed, TMFA (the head of The Official Bunch Of Random People Who Pick Superheroes) appears to be MIA, and three factions of superheroes from the Muser League of Justice have each found out a bunch of information.
One group went to the lab where Mr. Joe has hired mad scientists to make Mary Sues. They found that most of the Mary Sue army was missing (correct if wrong). They also recruited Slate, an experiment from the lab.
Another group went to Mr. Joe’s hotel base, at the Four Seasons. Somehow, they managed to fall into a decade in the future. Carrie’s sister Hera Rowe is working for Mr. Joe, as is Rainbowstar’s sister Kitty. The heroes met up with Electro, an extremely annoying superhero who seems bent on driving Zinc crazy. Carrie found a book telling how Mr. Joe will take over the world.
Invisible Girl went on a solo recon mission to find out what Mr. Joe is doing. She found out that: 1. when the secret staircase to the thirteenth floor (which can’t be reached by elevator or normal stairs) is engaged, there is an electronically generated power depletion illusion (could be useful) and feeling of foreboding; 2. her long-lost sister Tasha (real name Natalie) is possibly working for Mr. Joe, but could also be a double agent.
Now we’ve all met up to combine information.small but fierce, is Luminescence a superhero or a Mary Sue? She sounds like she could go either way. Mary Sues have two roles: working for Mr. Joe, and being double agents for the Muser Justice League. Ooh, that just gave me an idea: there are at least two possible double agents that I can think of, Aggie and Nilly. You guys could go pretend to be full Mary Sues or something; the more superheroes are or can pretend to be MSes, the better, because if we get a whole bunch of double agents, we can all break away from the army and deplete Mr. Joe’s resources. Sorry, am I going too fast?))

in February 21st, 2009 @ 07:31I join! Hm… Let me think of a good superpower. Let’s see… One is boring, so I’ll do three instead. I can be mary-sueish AND superhero at the same time! WOO!
Anacae slowly opened her eyes to the new day. The sun cast its rays into the forest where she was staying. She sat up and stretched, nearly falling out of the tree before she remembered to dig her claws in. Yes claws. Scampering down the tree, she sat on her haunches, and closed her eyes, gathering the sun’s rays to her. After a moment the squirrel siting on the ground slowly grew, transforming into a person. Straightening up, she wandered toward the small stash of food she had stored, and grabbing a nut or two, walked on the well-beaten trail toward the city.
Around midday, when she was almost there, she stopped to lean against a convenient tree. Her one remaining nut looked painfully inadequate for an entire meal, so she transformed into a squirrel again, picked up the nut between her teeth, and climbed the tree. She ate the nut, quietly, though with a few cracking sounds. Leaning against the tree again, she put her hands on the rough old wood, and began tracing patterns this way and that. Her hand came to a large knot in the wood, lingered there a moment;
And with a whoosh, a large hole opened in the ground beside her. She opened her eyes to look at it, walked around it twice, and finally, deciding that there was no point in living if one didn’t take risks, plunged in.She hit the bottom hard, and lay there dazed for a moment. Recovering herself enough to stand up and look around, she did so. It looked underground, which was not unexpected, but it also had an air of technology to it, strangely contrasting the earthy walls. After a moment of reflection, she realized that she was standing directly under the entry chute, moved, and decided to keep moving.
(*takes a break from writing* Sorry I’m going on for so long, oftentimes you can’t get me to stop.)
She had not gone far before she ran into a person. She hailed them, telling them that she had fallen in and asking what kind of a place this was. The person looked at her strangely, and told her that they weren’t authorized for information release, but they were authorized for punishing illegal access, so if she’d kindly answer my questions, I can take you to someone who can tell you more. First question; Why are you here?
“I- I jumped into the hole. It was an accident, discovering it.”
The person took a note on a clipboard he was handily carrying, and asked, “Next question. Do you believe in Superheros?”
“Well, I- they probably exist.”
The person gave her a piercing glance. “Why do you think that?”
“Why do you want to know?”
“Good answer. Because Superheros are our specialty. Because we are Superheros.”
Anacae slowly nodded. “So I’m not alone.”
The person smiled and put his clipboard under his arm. “Welcome to the Musers Justice League. I shall now take you to the General Random Information Release Persons. Or, more officially, the Informant Board. Why they are officially called planks, I don’t know.” He grinned again. Ancae grinned with him. Her days of solitaryness were over, she could tell that already.An hour later, she was reciting all her personal information to someone who was apparently going to make her superhero outfit. “Name.” “Ancae” “Occupation.” “Not applicable” “Powers.” “Transformation, Non-Inainimate, Inanimate Object Manipulation, Power Detection.” She had been coached in what to say before hand. They’d done a few tests to make sure she wasn’t ‘forgetting’ anything, told her the names of her powers, and stuck her in here. She wasn’t sure why the costume-person didn’t just go to the people who had told her what to say, but she didn’t really care. She was interested in her powers though. She hadn’t used anything but Transformation in the forest, to turn into animals to make her life easier, and her ‘people monitor’ as she called it, which alerted her of the approach of people, and apparently also told what powers, if any, they had, was useful on occasion, but she hadn’t really known she could pick up objects with her mind, which they called ‘Manipulation” It was handy, knowing all this. The costume person bustled away muttering to herself about ‘no lime green’ and Anacae was left alone again.

My cellphone vibrated. I picked up. “You’re needed in the past of MJ headquarters. There’s a transport waiting in 2100 with exact information.” The line went dead. I pulled out my remote and went.Carrie:
“We should report everything we found out, then think of a plan. Let’s all take a few minutes first to go over our experiences, then report them.” Zinc said. I went over to sit on the bench in front of the window and finish the diary.Hera:
When I arrived at the past base, a guy in a lab coat rushed over to me. “Here’s the perfume with the trust and mesmerizing effects.”“Have you figured out how to counteract my allergy yet ?” ((Hera has the same allergies as Carrie)).
“Well… No. But if you don’t get it on your skin, it shouldn’t provoke any reactions.”
I gave him a sweet smile, grabbed the manila folder with Anacae’s information in it and said: “I sure hope it doesn’t. After all, there are lots of chemists dreaming of your position. Heads will roll if the recruitment fails- extendable heads. Have a nice day.”
Then I gave myself a quick inspection- perfect, not a hair out of place. I put on a brilliant smile and entered the room, leaving the fretting chemist in my wake.
“Anacae ? Hi, I’m Carrie Blue. I´m here to help assign you to an operation.”
“Hi.” she answered, intimidated by the long days questioning.
“I’ve read your files- your powers are impressive. We’re very happy to have you on our team.”
“I´m happy to be here.” she said, frankly.
“Now for assigning… Let me tell you a short tale of the history of MJ. You’ve heard a lot about it, I’m sure. Heros saving the world, rescuing people, etc.. . Most people think that they do it all by themselves. They’re wrong. From the super-suit to their dinner, MJ takes care of Heros.”
“If you mean that I’m going to get a job cleaning tables, then just tell me and get it over with.”
“Let me finish. “Hero” is actually a misnomer. It’s a term for people who stand in the spotlight and take the credit. But they have many weaknesses. Those who succeed are honored- the failures are blamed on MJ. Long ago, MJs scientists started to try and get rid of those mistakes. They created Mary Sues, perfect in every way, to replace the Heros. But they hated and mistrusted the Mary Sues because they were smarter. Mary Sues are people too ! People like us. So MJ split into two fractions- the old stubborn and greedy Heros, hunting fame instead of doing their duty, taking up random people from the streets.
They hate us and risk ruining the world to destroy us. It’s up to us to stop them and tell the truth to the world. We need you, Anacae. There are to few of us to stop them. Help us fight them. You just need to sign here.”
I pulled a black pen from my purse and a sheet of paper from the folder. Once she signed, she was indentured to MJ. MJ stood not only for Muser Justice, but also for Mr Joe. My story wasn’t bad, close enough to reality to be credible. The paper was disguised to look like a normal contract. Now she just needed to sign…

Errata (Not Starfire!)
in February 22nd, 2009 @ 18:44BRILLIANT IDEA!! So I’m finding this unwieldy, randomly going to this hotel which I don’t know what it is, so I decided that instead of that, earlier posts happened a year or so ago, or maybe fairly recently, but still a while ago, and she was assigned to go to some secret base somewhere to assault it, was captured and put in stasis, (probably by Mr. Joe and co.) , the Musers Justice League led an attack to rescue her, the fight ended in a draw, but Mr. Joe and Co. withdrew from the base afterwards, leaving my charrie alone in stasis. After a while, the stasis thing ran out of power, (battery? or maybe Mr. Joe stopped paying for power in his old hideout :P) and…
*goes up and looks at past posts* Oh wait… You did save me! But I’m enamored of this idea, so this also happened.
And Anacae escaped and came to the hotel. And above stuff happened. So she’s way out of whack. I love this already. I’ll RP in next post.

Errata (Not Starfire!)
in February 22nd, 2009 @ 19:15Anacae (BTW, it’s pronounced An-uh-ca-ay) looked at the paper in front of her. Why did she have to sign it? She was a member of the Musers Justice League already. And… She didn’t remember Heros as being that bad. Her brow furrowed, trying to decide. But it didn’t really matter, did it? She was still a member of the League. Whether or not she re-joined. So did it matter at all? She might as well sign it. But then, she also might as well not sign it. She looked quizzically up at Carrie. “Why?”
“What do you mean, why?”
“I’m already a member of the Musers Justice League. Have been for some time. Why must I re-join?”
Carrie, looked confused. “Your name is not in any of our records.”
That was odd. She remembered distinctly being put in to their Comprehensive Guide To All Heros Ever For The Layman. She hadn’t gotten much space yet, since she was so inexperienced, and no supercool name that she remembered, (the jaunt with stasis seemed to have short-circuited some of her memories) but she was still there. They would naturally have looked her up in there before talking to her, in case she was already a member. “I should be in your Hero Guide.” It was often called that for short.
“Oh, we discontinued our Hero Guide. It had gotten to large to manage easily. Too many people calling our Heros. You can’t distribute Hero’s phone number to just anyone, you know.”
Anacae was thoroughly confused by now. The Hero Guide didn’t list Hero’s phone numbers and never had, as far as she knew. All it was was a bit of info on all the Heros, and it wasn’t widely distributed. What was going on? Finally, she said, “Carrie, I thank you for your kind offer, but I just don’t feel right here. I need to find the place where I fit in, and no offense, but this just isn’t it. I’m sorry I couldn’t help you, and I will certainly let you know if I change my mind. Good-bye.” She changed into a sparrow, and flew through the open window.

I opened my eyes. I stretched and got out of bed. Ugh, another ordinary day. Normally I wouldn’t mind, but lately my communicator had been strangely busy. I’d been traveling, visiting old friends, attending dumb parties, but never going home. If I did, I’d be arrested. Not for anything major, just for severing contact with my home planet. There is only one thing I miss about that place anyway, and if I could just find a mirror room I’d get it back. What was that? Talking! Just half a block away. I turned to look. Was that a…? I rubbed my eyes. It was! A girl turned into a sparrow and flew away! I ran toward the place where she took off, my throat clenched with familiar longing. “My power. My power! I must get it back! I MUST find a mirror room!!” “I think I can help you there.” Said an elegant girl who walked out of the building. “My name is Carrie Blue.”

She’d gotten away ! I cursed the low security measures and ran outside. To late. If I turned back time… A girl ran up to me, shouting about her power. I introduced myself, using my sisters name. Even if Anacae managed to reach the real MJ, she would just confuse them with stories of Carrie (the real one) being evil. Besides, I knew a recruit when I saw one.“You can come with me to MJ Headquarters. We’ve got lots of mirrors there. I’m sorry about the disturbance- MJ is reorganizing their entire Hero database and changing some of the old procedures to make it more fair. Some people don’t want to change and, well, you saw the girl over there. She was being reassigned to another sector and she took it rather badly.”
I sighed, pushing back a strand of stray hair.
“That makes another important vacancy. Oh- forgive me for chattering on thoughtlessly. You needed a room full of mirrors. Follow me.”
Carrie:
I presented the diary. “Listen up everybody ! Now. And listen quietly ! This is Adelaide Swan’s diary. She was the daughter of the hotel manager, who was a long-time member of the secret organization MJLA, Muser Justice League Aid.”“There’s no such thing !” exclaimed someone.
“There will be. In short, Superheroes first swarmed out, hunting for Mr Joe. Then they disappeared. After long, hard years they finally came back and tried to assume their old status. But they were hunted by
, who had gained lots of supporters. Strange things happened at the hotel, time ran willy-nilly and mysterious guests showed up. Adelaide had stolen a special charm from her father, which allowed her to notice the changes. Then…” I swallowed. “The swans hid a group of young superheroes. Adelaide made friends with one of them: Rosalie Blue. She had the same powers as I did. When the elevator broke, Adelaide died. Rosalie used her powers to undo what had happened and save her friend. But Mr Joe noticed the change and attacked the hotel. The Heroes tried to fight, but were overwhelmed. Before she died, Rosalie told Adelaide to run upstairs and hide the journal, so that I would find it.”“Something’s wrong with that story; who’s Rosalie ? You said that you only had one sister.” asked Zinc.
“That’s the part that freaks me out: Rosalie is my daughter, or at least claims to be. But she’ll be the same age then as I am now, and the hotels last stand is in ten years from now ! Someone seriously messed with time. And here’s the worst part: She’s got the Hero register from 2010- we’re not in it. None of us. And all live Heroes are listed. There’s a Rose, a Blue, a Klutz… all of our powers, but none of our names. It means that all of us vanished in about 10 months- and we never came back. All the pages from that time are missing.” I sat back down, exhausted. The idea still scared me. What was going to happen ? Could we change it ?
((For all the new people: plz post summaries with description and powers. About Hera and Carrie: they’re identical twins, and Hera, who’s impersonating Carrie, is evil. Carrie is a Hero, Hera is a Mary Sue. I just don’t want it to get to confusing

Name: Anacae (Ann-uh-ca-ay)
Powers: Transformation, inanimate object manipulation, Power Detection (short explanation: Transformation: into real animals, no imaginary. Inanimate object manipulation: she can move objects around without touching them. Power detection: She can tell if there’s someone nearby, and if they have superpowers, what they are. She has to concentrate to do this, however. And it’s not foolproof. Also, she might have some trouble with manipulating them due to the fact she hasn’t used them in a year, because of being in stasis.)
Looks: Haven’t sorted this out. Probably chestnut-brown hair, fairly long, maybe waist-length, green eyes, delicate, fairly short
Past: Used to live in forest, using transformation to help her survive and avoid detection, joined MJ league and was sent on mission, taken captive and held in stasis for a year.
Personality: Hasn’t really developed yet, don’t know.

Head still throbbing, I hiked my way out of the forest. It’ll be a long time. It’ll be a long time, but I’ll find someone and remember.

“I’m not really much of a physicist, but I know there are several theories about traveling through time. Some say that you can’t change what’s going to happen.”
“Others say that we change the future all the time, that every choice creates alternate realities- this, for instance being the one where I brushed my teeth this morning and there being some other reality out there somewhere where I didn’t.
“And if that’s the case, if that theory has even a chance of being true, then we have to act now and prevent Rosalie’s future.” I said.

Reason she’s on Earth: Sent from home planet in the form of a human as a peaceful explorer. Decided she was fed up with her home planet’s government, and severed contact, thereby becoming a renegade.
Powers: Transformation into any creature she can imagine or contact the DNA of, soul seeing
Limitations: can’t transform unless in an enviroment completely made of mirrors
Gadgets: transporter/communicator with cloaking deviceI looked down. “Oh, I didn’t see you there.” Oh dear, she must have heard me ranting about my power. The forest was thick and dark. The cold air smelled of trees. It wasn’t too difficult hiking through the bushes, but it made alot of noise. And noise was exactly what I didn’t want.
Moments later, I was a crow. A crow in the dark of the night might as well be invisible. I rose up, into the sky. Somewhere out there, there would be someone who can help me. Someone, at least I hoped. Someone must be near, the smell…
There was someone, shouting after nothing. Someone had vanished into thin air. Not very surprising. I heard some things:
“…hit you over the head… So …give you a free stay in our … dungeon…”
She didn’t sound friendly. Not the best type of person to go to. Hovering in the sky unseen, I flew off. Better make progress at night. Something I did not enjoy was light.
Except for moonlight.
I felt the gentle beams of moonlight upon my feathers, and suddenly felt safer. Whatever I was going to face, I felt… safe. Even if I wasn’t. But what can go wrong? What can endanger me? Who would even notice a crow?
I soared on. I didn’t know what I was tracking or even what I was doing, but I felt confident. I was on the right track, whatever may happen, and I, for once, felt righteous.

I turned back to the group remembering what Delta and Carrie had said before. “Well, time travel may or may not work, and it may not even deliver a date of the attack, but I know a way that we can: visions.” I grinned visibly for the first time in ages.
“Maybe, but where are we going to find a psych-oh!” Carrie gasped. She pointed at me.
“Bonified and pedigreed,” I said, palms out.
“Could you really what’s going to happen to us?” asked Zinc.
“If I wanted to,” I replied.
“It would be useful to know when he’s planning his attack, and in knowing what will happen with Rosalie,” said Delta, and she looked as though she was thinking.
“It’s up to you,” I said.
“Go ahead,” said Kokonilly, nudging me. “See if you can.”
“Well, I’ll give it my best,” I said, a bit worried. It was a difficulty to make a vision appear on command. I shut my eyes, concentrating on the future, on Mr. Joe, our group, on the singular thought of our future. Suddenly, my black eyes flew open and turned a brilliant ,bloody red. I was enveloped by a thick mental fog, and then my mind was spinning away into the future, far from the thin hall…I awoke on the floor of a dark room, large as ten football fields, stretching as far as my eyes could see. It seemed as though it was a cave, underground, with no natural light shining anywhere. Clouds of fog swirled along the floor like a dream, and the edges of my vision were embraced in a blurry fuzz. It took my vision a minute to adjust to the dark light, and when I could see, I gasped.
The cave, becoming gradually more visible, was full of still figures, posed like wax dolls in sharp relief against the black rock. On the left wall was a group of men in white coats, a girl who looked like a cat, and someone identical to Carrie. All stood perfectly still, hands clasped and evil smiles wide. On the right wall, I saw all of my friends, chained to the wall and powerless. The metal cuffs they were wearing glowed green, and seemed inescapable. Each face was frozen in an expression of terror and struggle. And in the center of the room in a long line were hundred of thousands of men and women, all impeccably attractive and perfect to the eyes, all armed, all wearing the same green suits with the same emblem of Mr. Joe emblazoned on the front. And in the front of their lines stood Mr. Joe himself, larger than life and grinning like a hyena.
Instantly, the scene came to life.
Loud yells of triumph came from the whitecoats, echoing from Mr. Joe to the lines of Mary Sues. The roar was deafening, and I shielded my ears. The heroes fought and yelled, pulling against their bonds. But it was no use, the cuffs held strong. Once the yelling had died down, Mr. Joe took few echoing steps across the cavern toward the struggling heroes. He raised a hand, and they were forced into silence. I got to my feet, walking cautiously behind him. to them, I was invisible. Nobody could see or hear me at all. I had to look away from my own face, however, because any contact between past, present and future representations of the same person can cause a tear in the space-time continuum.
“So,” began the pacing Mr. Joe, “it appears that well enough just can’t be left alone, can it?”
“Apparantly not,” spat Zinc, and there was a smack. A bloody mark appeared on her cheek, and she fell silent.
“You could have backed down. You could have run away. You, all of you, have the capability to leave this miserable planet behind, do you not? But for some reason, you all feel the need to keep sticking your noses where they shouldn’t be? Well? AM I RIGHT?”
The resounding silence made it clear that my friends couldn’t talk, else there might have been some harsh words after that comment.
Mr. Joe continued, turning on his heel to face the group. “You never thought you would succeed, did you? Not after all this time! You know far too well that my army is too great for any small force to conquer, even that of superheroes. Your kind should have been extinct, and after you fail, it will be.”
“Not on your life,” spat Carrie.
“No,” whispered Mr. Joe. “On yours.”
“There have been heroes before us, and there were heroes after us, and you can’t change that,” said Delta.
“No, but they can.” A green finger pointed towards the stock-still army, many of whom I was now recognizing, and whose eyes glowed a hypnotic green. Harry Potter, Edward Cullen, Jacob Black, Violet, Klaus and Sunny Baudelaire, and countless others were in the front lines, armed, dangerous, and without flaws.
“Your recruits are useless,” I heard my own voice. “You know they will fail as well as I do.”
“Just as you know you will fail,” said Mr Joe. “And you will, heroes. The future is lost. The world is mine. And there is nothing you can do to stop me.”
He turned to the army, and to his gleeful minions. “The moment of doom is at hand,” he yelled, and the room roared. “Kill them all.”
There were triumphant screams, and then everything was gone.

“What did you see?†she asked me.
What did I see? I sprang up, entranced and scared out of my wits by what I had witnessed. As quickly as I could, I recanted the entire story with every last detail back to the group. There were looks of surprise and fear from every face I saw.
“Well,” said Carrie quietly after I finished, “at least we know why we weren’t in the register.”

I stood up. I still wasn’t sure about trusting anyone, but… well, name didn’t matter that much, right?
“Cerberus,” I muttered. I was going to be a long night.

“The very same,” I said a bit faintly, because I was still extremely dizzy.
“Weird…I wonder how Mr. Joe recruited him,” said Kokonilly, shaking her head. Then, Delta snapped her fingers. “That’s it! Time travel!”
“Huh?” asked Zinc.
“Someone must have been able to use time travel to travel to other realms and recruit the characters in his armies.”
“That does make a certain amount of sense…” I mused.
“So that means all we’ll have to do is travel in time the same way, before Mr. Joe, and get all those heroes on our side!” said Invisible Girl.
“But, do we really want them on our side?” asked Carrie.
“Why not? At least Mr. Joe won’t have them,” I replied.
“It’s a risk,” said Delta, “but in the long run, I think we’ll have to, just to keep Mr. Joe from conquering us.”
We had reached the buffet, which thankfully was still open and running. “Let’s eat now,” said Kokonilly, “and talk later.”
And so we did.

The food was ok…I picked at the mashed potatoes…. If I had been human it would have been one of the best meals of my life… but I found I could not turn back…I talked to Aggie about it… she told her story to me after I told her mine…. (apparently they all thought I was just a phoenix)… my story…
Last thing I remember was being knocked out by a girl they called “Kitty†in a alternate future/past I was sent to after I accidentally gave Mr.Joe a third degree burn while he was examining me. Mr. Joe had discovered me 9 years ago when he heard of the inexplicable fire ( caused when I was having a temper tantrum and knocked a can of olive oil onto the gas stove with my telekinesis.) that killed everyone except me, a 3 year old. Mr.Joe found me and adopted me. I hated him from the start, when he put me in a cage. After a few more temper tantrums he let me have more free rein to satisfy me. But when I started letting other kids out of their cages and several escaped he didn’t know what to do with me. From then on I went thru several guards, sending most of them to the mental hospital, after playing tricks with the telepathy I could control. It was recently when Mr.Joe came to check my progress in telekinesis. I had no improvement, as usual. But instead of strangling the guy who is supposed to teach me, but doesn’t as he is afraid of mt telepathy tricks, Mr.Joe strangled me. Then, in a sudden burst of flame I found myself to be a phoenix and Mr Joe with a third degree burn…. the rest is history.

I was a Hero in my world. Now I’m a Mary Sue. I’ll take you to a waiting room. Mr. Joe will see you soon.”

Then Mr. Joe came in. “Ah, I see you’ve found the source of my latest Mary Sues.” He said. “Who are you?” I asked. “Haven’t you guessed? I’m Mr. Joe. And I’m here to make an intriguing proposition. Currently, you have superpowers, that makes you a Hero. I can give you an operation that not only amplifies those powers, it makes you perfect.” “Ha,” I replied, “amplified powers mean nothing to someone with my limitations. As for perfection, hasn’t Mortimer told you who I am? I’m Faldrea.” His face remained blank. “Queen of Weird. I loathe perfection in all it’s forms.” “Well, if you will not submit, I will take you anyway!” He yelled. He threw me into a dirty cell. “Don’t move untill I get back!” ‘Hmm’ I thought, ‘Here’s an idea I haven’t tried for finding others like me.’ I sent my communicator to send out a signal to any telepaths on Earth. The signal sent the message “Help! I’m trapped in Mr. Joe’s lair and hewants to turn me into a Mary Sue!”

When I woke up, I was tangled in some net in human form, and there was a muscular Greek guy standing over me.
“Finally, wolfguy, you awake!” He bellowed. I stood up. Interesting, whoever he was, he seemed familiar, but I haven’t met him before.
Not hearing any answer from me, he scratched his head. “Whomever you may be, you smell heroish to me. Anyways…”
“Who are you?” my question burst out of me. The person turned to peer at me.
“Shouldn’t you know who I am?” he stated matter-of-factly.
I shook my head.
“Tell me you don’t know me.”
“I don’t know you. ”
He clenched his fist, then threw some confetti, wherever the confetti came from. “Meet Heracles, the Mary Sue!”
I froze. Heracles… wasn’t he the one who squeezed my good friend old Cerbe? I uttered a low growl, but he was too occupied with laughing to notice.
With a growl, I transformed into Cerberus and broke the net, lunging for him.
And then he caught me and squeezed me.
Ouch ouch ouch ouch ouch.
“Give up, old friend?” He put me down. “You should know better than to do that, I can’t believe you still don’t have a brain.
I bared my teeth, I wanted to tell him that I had not one but three brains, but he wouldn’t notice anyways.Not him, proud Mary Sue Heracles.
“Anyways, “he snapped his fingers and a cage fell over me. “Mr. Joe should be here soon. ” he turned and left, not forgetting to turn off the lights.
Wonderful. Wonderful. Whomever Mr. Joe was, he didn’t seem nice.
Suddenly, my ears perked up as I caught a faint message.
“Help!! …Mr. Joe…turn me… Mary Sue!”
Oh no. That was bad.

After annoying people, and being shooed away, I walked along, bored. All of a sudden, I was grabbed from behind by a hand bigger than a toaster oven! The hand yanked me backwards into a large room, with a thin child standing there watching me with an amused look. Artemis Fowl. Then that means that Mr. Brick Wall here was Butler. But they were hypnotized, that much was obvious. They wore rubber clothes, which was something Artemis would do.
“Good work, Butler.” said Artemis. “Put him in the cage.”
The toaster oven hand carried me to a small cage with rubber bars. Good thinking, Artemis, but rubber is bendable. He wouldn’t usually forget something like that. Hmmm…
The hand dropped me in the cage. Artemis grabbed a walkie-talkie near his belt.
“Master Joe, we have the shocking thing.”
“Exellent. Bring him to the Mary Sue machine.”
“Very good. Fowl out.” It didn’t take Artemis Fowl to figure out what was happening. They were turning people into Mary Sues! And worse yet, heroes! I wondered who else was captured, and by who. The Harry Potter crowd, of course, Septimus Heap, Hercules…the list was endless. First though, I had to escape. I pulled on the bars. Nothing. Gaahh!! It had to be a layer of rubber surrounding a steel bar! I wasn’t getting out of here any time soon. I was being carried by Butler. He wasn’t gentle with me, but we were at the machine soon. No hope was left. I was strapped down to a table by Artemis. With all my nerve, I spat in his eye with a bit of voltage included just as he switched on the machine.Mary Sue Electro
I felt my inner perfection surfacing. The way, and plans, of Mr. Joe were perfect. Just like me.

I can’t use my transformation powers without enough mirrors.” “But wait,” interrupted Cerberus, “You have a tranporter. Why didn’t you escape with it in the first place?” “Long story. Hey, you just gave me the answer! Hold my hand, and I can transport us both into the woods where we met!” She reluctantly held out her hand. I seized it and pressed a button on my transporter. Back safely in the forest I let go of her hand and said, “OK, if you want, we can travel together and search for others like us. If not, I’ll bother you no more.”

I had snagged an enormous chocolate pie (surprise, surprise). Every time I tried to eat one, something happened an I could never finish. I hoped that I would finally get my well-deserved snack. But then some creepy spotted me and came over:“Give me the rest of that pie.”
“Give me a good reason why I should.”He struck a pose, with the smirk of someone very cute who knows it little to well. Creep. It would take a little more then weird eyes and gelled hair to make me give up my pie.
“Because I am here on important business and can’t be bothered by some silly little girl. Give me the pie !”
“You know, your eyes are creeping me out.” I remarked casually. The eyes are the windows to the soul, as my grade school teacher used to say, and some Mary Sueish people could be very touchy about them. The guy clearly thought he was the best thing since sliced bread.
“Ignorant little dweeb. Give me that pie, or you won’t be able to bush anymore.”
My face was red, but flushed in anger. I hate this reaction but can’t help it.
“Here’s your pie !” I shouted, throwing it in his face. What a waste. He was stunned, but reacted quickly. A big hand was thrust out and grabbed my arm. I screamed and broke free before he could tighten his grip. I turned and started to run, but ran into Zinc (Klutzgirl), who also fell down and knocked into the buffet table. With a deafening crash, the hotels best china spilled over the floor. Drinks cascaded down. A big hand grabbed my ankle. I screamed again as chaos broke out and Edward Cullen tried to drag me away.

BLAM! Suddenly, a stunning spell had blasted the chair I was sitting in apart. I flew backwards into the wall, Adeia flying off of my shoulder just in time to not become a bird pancake.
“Get up, filthy mudblood,” hissed a voice. Draco Malfoy stood above me, holding a wand at my throat.
“Okay, okay, no need to get violent,” I said, getting to my feet.
“Have you got the mudblood, Draco?” asked another voice, and I saw Harry potter walking up, his eyes a hypnotic green like Draco’s.
“Yes, I have,” said Draco.
“Wait…you two? Working together?” I could hardly believe my eyes. “One of these things does not belong.”
“Shut up,” said Harry, keeping a wand at my back. “Mr. Joe will be glad to see that we’ve captured an intellectual.”
“Pity Hermione couldn’t be here,” said Draco. “She’s such a great help, the dear.”
I nearly barfed.

As Edward dragged me away, I wished with all my might that I was back somewhere safe. The H&H sprang to mind, with the comforting smell of chocolate and potential food. But I’d forgotten about my powers, which always worked when I didn’t really want them to, and never when I was in a pickle. I’d stuck the remote in my pocket, and I must have pressed the button with my weight. Suddenly the chaotic hotel vanished.
Good: I was standing in the H&H. Edward wasn’t holding my ankle anymore, and RoseQuartz and SBF were next to me.
Bad: The whole Cullen clan was here, and I had the feeling they didn’t want to invite us to a clambake. Small but fierce was unconscious. The other people in the H&H were wearing clothes so old they couldn’t be retro. I mean, who wears floor-length pioneer dresses anymore !
I gulped. “Guys, um, I mean psychopathic vampires, could we settle this in a mutually beneficial, nonviolent way ?”

“Fine with me,” I said to Faldrea. Pity I couldn’t meet Mr. Joe, I would have been able to learn more about this strange world I was in. Whatever I was doing here, anyways.
The gloomy woods shaded me from the sunlight, which I was glad for. I leaned against a tree, but not before checking to see whether it was a trap.
Heracles. I growled as I thought of him, proud Mary Sue Heracles. Ultimately perfect and strong, might as well be immortal. Immortal… almost immortal. Hmmm.
Faint cries rushed through the wind, and I perked my ears up. Screams, shouts, deep voices of people who seemed to be bad… Oh no. Something bad has happened, somewhere not too far away. There could even be people in where we just came out of.
“We should go back, ” I muttered. Someone may be near, and I still wanted to get back at old Heracles from squeezing both old Cerbe and I.
I glanced up. The sun was still out, but I’ll have to deal with it. I’m going to have to deal with Heracles.
And Mr. Joe, perhaps.

Suddenly, a hand shot out from behind a tree and clapped over my mouth. “Not again.” I said in my mind. Then the girl muffling my voice came into view. She was just as Stuart Hill described her in Blade of Fire. White skin, black hair, and smelling of the wonderful scent of a freshly washed corpse. She pulled me away from the entrance to Mr. Joe’s lair, and as soon as she was convinced nobody could hear us, she uncovered my mouth. “Medea?” I said. “Yes.” She responded proudly. “How-” “How am I not a Mary Sue? Well, Mr. Joe put me in a cage, and I used my powers to escape while he turned someone called Electro into a Mary Sue.” “Wicked. So, shall we go to the screaming people? There may be people like me there, and I’m sure they could use a witch.” “What would be in it for me?” “Protection from being turned into a Mary Sue.” “You’ve got as deal.” She said as we made our way.

in March 3rd, 2009 @ 00:39I transformed and darted around the room, yowling and looking for a way to get everyone to safety. I spotted the enemy closest to my own size and pounced. It was a baby.
“Let go of her,” demanded a girl’s voice. I released the baby, who babbled something incomprehensible and bared her four sharp teeth, and turned to see two dark-haired teenagers with sad expressions. The younger one was a boy a few years older than me, and was wearing round glasses and holding a thick book called The Unabridged Guide To Being A Mary Sue. The older one was around fifteen, a girl with her hair tied up in a ribbon.
“You’re Catgirl,” said the boy. “I’ve researched you and your treacherous comrades in this book. We know all about your plan to stop perfection. We’ve been monitoring your league since VFD was bought by Mr. Joe, and it’s time for all of you to give up your villainous ways and become noble.”
Realizing that a conversation rather than a fight was en-sue-ing, I began to demorph. As I regained my human shape, the older girl spoke into a walkie-talkie that looked as if she had cobbled it together out of scrap metal. “We’ve captured a villain,” she said, as if worrying about the morality of this.
“Bring her,” said a cold voice. “We have two others already.” In the background I heard RoseQuartz’s
nervousanxious voice, although I couldn’t make out what it was saying.As the girl turned off the walkie-talkie, the baby bit the leg of my suit, acting like one of those ball/chain things prisoners wear. Unfortunately, I’d had my suit made of never-rip material, and couldn’t get away. As I struggled to make her let go, the boy said to the girl, “Are you sure this is a noble thing to do? It seems more wicked than noble.”
Suddenly I realized who they were, and what I’d always wanted to tell them. “People aren’t wicked or noble,” I said. “They’re like chef’s salads.”
Apparently I had touched a nerve. Violet grabbed me by the collar, and Klaus pulled out a bottle of knockout spray. Sunny was still biting my suit leg, refusing to let go. I was trapped.
“I didn’t realize this was a sad occasion,” I stammered. Maybe I could trick them with codes.
“That won’t work,” said Klaus, shaking up the bottle. “Using VFD codes – or, now, Mr. Joe’s codes, doesn’t make you a volunteer.” Then he sprayed the sweet-smelling white mist into my face.
“Cullen!” I heard the baby shriek as I spiraled into blackness.
((While I’m unconscious, the Baudelaires use the transporter-thing to take me to the H&H, where bookgirl_me, RoseQuartz, and small but fierce are facing the Cullens.))

in March 3rd, 2009 @ 07:53“Thanks,” I said to Delta, who helped me up. “That was close.”
“No problem,” she replied. “How do you think they got here?”
But before I could answer, I heard a telepathic cry from Kokonilly. “Psyche,help!”
I looked around the room full of scattering people for the source of the cry, and saw my sister being mentally choked by Anakin Skywalker. I ran over, but this was something I couldn’t stop with my fists, I had to fight it with my mind.
I concentrated very hard on commanding Anakin to release Nilly, and though his brain’s defenses were ridiculously strong, they were no match for my superhuman telepathy powers. He crumpled to the ground at the same time she did.
“Kokonilly!” I cried, running over. “Are you okay?”
“Mhmm,” she said, still looking a bit blue. There was a large bruise around her neck. I helped her to her feet. Delta came rushing over, looking worried.
“I don’t know where all these characters are coming from, but we’ve got to stop them, or at least return them to their correct spots!”
“Okay, then let’s get the others and-” I stopped short, looking around. Where was everyone else?
“Where’d they go?” asked Kokonilly.
“I…um…” We were at a loss. There was nobody in sight except the three unconscious book characters at our feet: Harry, Malfoy and Anakin. “I don’t know.”
“Well, we’ve got to go find them!” cried Delta. “Who knows what’s happening to them right now?”
“Wait,” I said. “I have an idea.” Quietly, I stole both wizards’ wands and stored one away in a pocket of my suit, Then, I shoved Harry awake.
“Get up,” I warned him, “or we’ll blast you to bits.” It was an empty threat, although I still had a wand in my hand, but Harry had no idea. He looked frantically in his pockets for his own wand, and when he couldn’t find it, he raised his hands in a gesture of surrender.
“All right,” he sighed. “What is it?”
“I want you to apparate to wherever it is that you’ve taken our friends,” I commanded.
“Why would you want-I mean, of course I will!” he said, mouth curling into a sneer.
“Psyche, what are you doing?” hissed Delta.
“Saving everyone else ,” I replied. I turned back to Harry. “Here’s the catch- when we get there, you will immediately let us go, and then you will apparate back to Hogwarts. Otherwise, I’ll stun your brains out. And don’t worry, I know how to use a wand.”
“I…fine,” he mumbled.
“What about them?” asked Kokonilly, pointing at Anakin and Draco, still unconscious on the floor. “We can’t just leave them here, they might hurt more people.”
“Tie them up, and shove them in that broom closet,” I said. “We’ll come back for them later. Besides, we’ll have to return to each of their home times in order to ensure the safety of all the other wizards, and to see who’s already been captured and Sue-ified so we know what we’re up against.”
“Good idea,” said Delta. She tied up the two Sues and stuffed them up in a closet behind the buffet. “Now let’s go.”
“All right,” I said. “I’m going to hang into the wand. Harry, you can put your hand on mine. Kokonilly, grab my hand, and Delta, grab hers. And hang on tight.”
“Ready?” asked Delta.
“One, two three.”
And then we were squeezed through time and space, tighter and faster, air disappearing around us. Suddenly, we were spat out at the entrance to the Hare and Hedgepig.((Whew, long post!))

“And Medea too. You have any idea how much trouble that would cause?”
“No, umm, yes…”
Mr. Joe screamed at Heracles, and I didn’t feel like hanging around to listen. There must be better things to do. I shifted into a crow and flew off silently.
I flew across the empty corridor, wondering what I might find.

“Ah!” I jumped back, startled. Normally, animals did not have the ability to speak. This must be a rare occasion.
“We followed you here, from the hotel,” said Medea.
“Okay,” said Kokonilly. “And you avoided Sue-ification?”
“Yes,” she replied.
“How do we know?” replied Delta.
“We would have glowing eyes, wouldn’t we?” said Faldrea.
“Oh, right…” Delta said.
“There is a strange aura hanging around the H+H…” I said, faltering. My head was swimming. There was an information overload.
“What’s wrong?” asked Kokonilly.
“There are too many Mary Sues around here…I can’t concentrate.” Everything was getting kind of blurry.
“Come on,” said Delta. “Let’s get inside.”

“Aren’t you brave- five against two !” I said, trying to sound brave.“Umm, Carrie, there are definitely more then five of them.” mentioned RoseQuartz in a small voice.
“I only counted the ones smarter than rats.” I tried to continue the banter. The Cullens just leered diabolically.
Now was the time for my brilliant plan, worthy of Odysseus:
“ RUN FOR YOUR LIVES !!! ” I screamed and charged towards the door exactly at the same time as Delta, Psyche and some other people. I wasn’t sure exactly who, since I was busy listening to the coconut-like sound as my head (and the rest of my body) ((I’m assuming that the door was locked, and Delta blasted it)) collided with the wall.Then everything hurt . Badly. Pieces of my body I’d previously not known existed hurt. My vision was clouded and it was hard to breathe. A table had been knocked over. From my point of view, I could just see SBF’s boots sticking out. The table was massive wood- she hadn’t been able to escape. She was- don’t think it ! Quick, think of something else. I can’t feel my legs… Something was laying on the floor next to me. A book-the diary. Blood was staining it red- my blood. Cake, I’m- no don’t even think it ! I can’t be- my last word was “rats”. “Use your powers !” I told myself. But I couldn’t. I just couldn’t. Cake, I’m-

I stared out the window at Headquarters. Suddenly everything hurt. Pain exploded inside my head. “Cake, Carrie’s done something stupid !” was my first thought. I sank to the floor as I cursed her. Suddenly someone (three guesses who and the first two don’t count. Bingo, you got it) undid time. I sailed through the air again, and this time I hit something soft. Someone, to be precise. Hera. She managed to catch me without falling over, then grabbed a small bottle with spray and sprayed it down my throat. I coughed, but so much had already gone down that my eyes closed instantly.Hera:
I gently laid Carrie down. The other MJ members were all unconscious, knocked out by the effects of time travel, but very much alive. The would wake up soon with no idea what happened, in the present and in s base that they’d so long been searching. Something caught my eye. A small book which Carrie had grabbed in her last moment. The diary. I pried it from Carries arm. It was bloody. Disgusted and scared I dropped it. The moment it left my hand it suddenly burst into flame. So that future no longer existed. wouldn’t be pleased, but MJL would have a fair chance in the battle. So be it. I traveled back to the past to lecture those Mary Sues about following orders.Carrie:
As expected, I didn’t wake up in the H&H. I didn’t know where I was, but I was pretty sure that when was the present. Around me, all the other MJL heroes lay strewn out. They were waking up too. “Where am I ?”-“When am I ?”-” Oh, Carrie must have done something weird with that remote.”
The remote. I reached into my pocket. It was smashed into little bits. No time/space travel in the near future, then.RoseQuartz came over: “Thanks, Carrie ! Thing really weren’t looking good back there.” I wanted to reply, but then changed my mind. I still hadn’t figured out why Hera had saved me- saved us all actually. She’d prevented Rosalie Blues future. I looked around for the diary to confirm my suspicion, but I couldn’t find it. To bad.
“Your name is Carrie Blue ?” one of the new heroes asked, openly staring.
“Yes. Why do you want to know ? And who are you, anyway ?”

The future was being changed, and everything I knew was wrong. And if I was wrong, my brain was wrong, and that made no sense. Nonsensical things caused pain, things that I could not yet see, but yet were there. Predestination was being twisted and turned, churning my mind…I couldn’t take it. My skull was going to burst.
I could hear voices. “What’s happened? “Where are we?” I wanted to speak. Something was very wrong. But I was unable to think and I didn’t know what. All I knew was pain that came from my brain.

Voices. I had no idea where I was, but I was a wolf. And my head, my neck— my whole body hurt. I had no idea what happened.
My mind screamed, I felt a deep sorrow well up inside. me. I didn’t know what happened, but it hurt. I hurt more than Heracles squeezing, the time I fell off the tree… it was time. Time was not real, but it hurt. Somehow, all the people around me were pushed through time.. I’ve had this feeling before. A sinking sensation arose as I realized that I was far from where I came from.
I had a nightmare, strange for such a person with deathly origins like me. In the nightmare, the UnderWorld was in chaos and old Cerbe was nowhere to be found.
It was my connection to the place I’ve always lived in. Something has happened, above ground and below ground. A person sat, fumbling witha strange piece of metal. Many people rubbed their eyes, or clutched their heads, as if their heads were about to explode.
Something had happened and I did not know what.

Suddenly, Mary Sues from books started showing up. You (sorry), SBF and I got taken to the H&H in the past, where we met Aliena & co. Delta & co came to, but Carrie walked into the door when Delta blasted it (Long story, en was fighting Harry & co) and almost died. Hera saved Carrie (and the rest of the world) by changing the past and the future, destroying the possibility in which Rosalie Blue existed and all the heros died. Now everyone is in the present in s base. Hera has left to resume command over the Mary Sues (since she’s the only evil RP character left). Carrie is lying and telling everyone that she did the change, since she doesn’t know why Hera saved her. Now everyone is trying to figure out what the cake happened/changed and Carrie is mourning the loss of her time-travel remote, since this RPG will have to stay in the present for now (otherwise it gets way to confusing). And everyone is welcoming Aliena, Cerberus and Adeia, our new recruits (Adeia sort of counts as new, since she was unconcious at first). Aggie is having trouble with her power and the changes- Adeia is trying to help.))

in March 6th, 2009 @ 18:19((I am back! And you’re all thrilled… Well, I’m back anyway. I think I’ll put an amusing scene involving Anacae thinking that Carrie is Hera in the guise of Carrie. I have another idea for a superhero floating around it my head, so I might make an evil person in a bit.))
Anacae flew, following the air currents. She had somehow turned into a hawk for this purpose, and she didn’t really know how. The stasis jaunt was still messing her powers up. She hadn’t even tried to manipulate inanimate objects, for fear of what would happen. But the cool air in her face, on her wings, calmed her. She felt as if everything would be alright, no matter how weird the MJL person was acting. But she had grown tired of flying, and looked around for a place to land. Choosing a conveniently open windowsill nearby, she landed on it, trying to time her transformation exactly with landing. It didn’t work so well, so she ended up falling a bit, and only just managing to grab onto the windowsill she’d planned to land gracefully on. Pulling herself up onto it, she looked around.
The people already in the room hadn’t noticed her yet. She could fly away now, or do something else. But she didn’t. She reached out, trying to delve into them to reach their names, but before she got there, she suddenly realized something. “You’re Superheros.” It came out as a snap, almost. They all looked around.
“Umm… Yes… We are…” They were probably a bit shocked, but she didn’t care much. She looked around at them, and suddenly her attention was drawn to one over in the corner. “Carrie. Carrie Blue. And how did you get here, the one place I decided to land? Let me guess, you teleported here. Or something else, I don’t care. You never answered my question, did you?”It was not unexpected when her reply was, “What question?” So Anacae was ready for her. “Well, let’s see. There were several. They were, I believe,” she counted them on her fingers, “Why I have to re-join Musers Justice League. What huge transformation took place so the Hero Book started giving out Hero phone numbers. Why on earth it was discontinued, and why you said it was distributed to the general public. Umm…” She thought through it, but she couldn’t remember any more questions. “And here’s another couple. How did you know I was going to be here, and why on earth did you think you could recruit me now.”
Carrie looked completely bewildered. “I don’t think I asked any of that-” She was cut off by Anacae.
“Going to play innocent, are you? Well, that might amuse me.”
Carrie looked completely bewildered by now. “What? I don’t think I’ve even met you before, let alone told you these things!”
Anacae’s brows furrowed, wondering… “I met Carrie Blue earlier, and she offered to let me join the MJ League, as she called it. I, a year or so ago, joined the Musers Justice League, and assumed that was what she was talking about. When I told her – you – about the fact I’d already joined, you merely told me I wasn’t in the records. Unless you have an identical twin, or know someone that can morph into you, or something, then it was you, and you’re just faking.”
Carrie still looked confused, but her face was beginning to clear. She turned to a different girl. “You said you met a Mary Sue using my name?” The girl nodded. “Well, that clears everything up. My twin sister, Hera, apparently told people that her name was Carrie twice. I am Carrie, and I, as I said, I have a twin sister Hera on the Mary Sue side. This clears everything up.”
“I suppose so.” She hesitated. “I don’t suppose you’ve heard of the Musers Justice League?”
“Yes, we have. We’re in it. And I don’t believe Hera wants you to join it. She’s a Mary Sue.”
“Okay, I’ve missed something. I will start over again and introduce myself. After that, if you agree, I propose that I tell you my past, briefly, and then you tell me your names, and powers, and what has happened since I left.” She paused. “My name is Anacae, as any of you that happen to be mind readers probably know. I accidentally found the Musers Justice League, and became a part of it. Later, I was sent on a mission to a mysterious hideout, and captured. I was put into stasis and kept there for I know not how long. Maybe a week ago, I was released from stasis, only to find an empty base. Earlier today, Hera tried to convince me to join the MJL, and I refused.” She ended, pausing for breath. “And you?” And then she sat back, to listen to the stories that they rushed forward with.

I burst out of the hotel, Nita Callahan and Kit Rodriguz ((w00t Young Wizards series!)) chasing after me. “S-stupid 80’s WIZARDS!” I screamed in frustration, dodging the killing spells they threw at me. I heard every long, articulated, entrancing syllable in the Speech, wondering why I wasn’t immediately dying a very very bloody death.
“Dairine!” I heard Nita yell in frustration. “Come help us!”
Dairine appeared, with her computerized Manuel in tow. She quickly spoke to the computer and typed a few words, and I was frozen in mid air. She had freezed me. I cussed inwardly. Stupid stupid STUPID!
I was transported, in my frozen state, to a HQ. I was put into a cage and unfrozen. Electro was there, looking smug. “DIRTY ROTTEN TRAITOR!” I screamed at him.
“Why do you say that?” he said, mockingly surprised.
“Why are you here??? Shouldn’t you be scared to the core?!”
“Why, I’m a Mary Sue now, thanks to Mr. Joe.”I sat back, stunned.
“All right, let’s go, move on,” said a clear voice. I peered at the person. Yuki Sohma, with Kyo-kun too. Tohru Honda followed behind.
“You’ve changed, ‘Prince Charming,'” I said coldly.
“SHUT UP! I hate that name!” he yelled, whirling around.
“Honda-san, push the right button this time.” Kyo instructed. Tohru nodded, and went to the control panel to my right.What was going to happen to me?
I heard the small sound of a button being pushed. I braced myself for the electric shock.
Nothing happened. At all.
“Tohru, you idiot!” Kyo-kun said angrily, and shoved her out of the way.
“Stupid cat!’ she screeched. “I pushed the right one! This one!” She pointed to a button I couldn’t see.
Kyo sputtered. “That’s.. that’s… the right one.”Apparently, I wasn’t able to turn into a mary Sue becasue I had no special things to enhance. What a blow.

My species is a race of shape-shifters, but we can only access our powers in an enviroment similar to the one we were raised in. Namely, 100% mirrors. Anyway, I transformed into a human and set off to explore this planet. When I got here I realised that my people’s gorvernment was totally overbearing, and I reset my communicator to make it impossible for anyone on Orp to contact me. Thus I became a renegade. Using my transporter I traveled the stars, never leaving his planet entirely. I found out I had the unique ability to see people’s souls, and I searched this planet looking for others with similar capabilities. Eventually I heard of a group of superheros called the Muser’s Justice League, and I search for possible members to see if I could join. In my search I learned of a way to surface perfection in heros to create evil beings called Mary Sues. I learned of a person who was mass-making Mary Sues called Mr. Joe. I suspect the league Hera was talking about was not the Muser’s Justice League, but the Mr. Joe League. The day after I learned about him was the day I found you. When I ran to where you took off from, I noticed a scent around Hera. It is my belief the contract she held had some kind of trust-inducing perfume, so that you would trust her automatically if you signed it. After you left the forest I followed you to, I met another hero by the name of Cerberus. We both got captured by Mr. Joe, but I got us out. Cerberus wanted to go back for some reason, I suspect revenge, and I found Medea. She’s a book character that escaped Sue-ification. Then we found some heros that took us here, and that’s about it.”

Someone put their hand on me. I got an image of destruction and blood, of someone being killed, of dying in agony. I was about to scream when the hand was taken away, and I saw….
“Renesmee Cullen?” I gasped. “But, but I thought you were good! I– Where did you get THAT image… I…” I was so confused! What was going on?
“She’s going to get out,” said someone else. “but it doesn’t look like she’s getting out of the machine.” The voice was coming from a petite black-haired girl with red eyes.
“Wait, what?” I stared at her. It was Alice Cullen, and Bella was there too, but why on earth did they all have red eyes? Something wasn’t at all right here.
Bella raised a gun and pointed it at me.
“Since you’re going to get out anyway, why don’t I just kill you now?” she said.TASHA:

“Zinc, back me up on this one. There are definitely more heroes ! Zinc ? Zinc ! Electro ! Tasha ! Invisible girl ! People who’s names I’ve forgotten but it would be really awesome if they were here now !”
“We need to find them !” said Faldrea, stricken.
“And stop them from being turned into Mary Sues !” added Cerberus.
“And stop poor innocent people from starving, starting with me!” I ad-libbed.
“ Carrie !” they all shouted, more or less together.
“Okay. Now I guess one person has to be the first to go into the creepy, dark and suspiciously clean hall. No wait- I already know the answer. My last words are: chocolate mud pie !”
I dramatically strode out, with the air of a determined warrior-princess look. I really looked brave and heroic- until I tripped and tumbled downstairs, sliding involuntarily all the way down with the air of a circus clown.
“It’s safe !” I shouted. “More or less.”

Anyway, when she got to the bottom, she held out a hand to Carrie to help her up. Looking around, she glanced back up the stairs, waiting for the others.

Out of the corner of my eye, I saw the door slowly open. Carrie! I frantically gestured to her, trying to tell her not to come in because of the bickering and bantering book people. She waved her hand at Electro, and I nodded sadly. Her face fell. She held her index finger up in the universal sign for waitaminute. The door silently closed.
I poked at the bars of the cage I was in. They were steel. Well, I can melt iron with my anger, let’s try again. I thought about all my hate of mr. Joe, HPBs, caramel, anything l despised. I tentatively opened one eyelid.
Nope. Didn’t work.
l sat back, thinking. how was I supposed to get out of here? I had oly the clothes on my back–
My pockets!
I slapped myself inwardly. I could take out the laser pen and get myself out of here, while the Mary Sues were argueing.
I pulled it out, looking behind me. Clear. I flicked off the cap and held the laser like I would a pen. I traced my middle name in the air, and a small red light appeared on the end of the pen. Good, it was working. I quickly and quietly fried a Zinc-sized hole through the bars, then slipped through. I was almost at the door when Dairine yelled, “She’s getting away!” I started, and sprinted through the door and down the hall, not caring where I went, just away from there.

“What did you do ?” shrieked Anacae.
“I thought that if I changed things so that the apes who lived here before it was transformed into the hero processing place never got their bananas peels cleaned up, the Mary Sues inside would trip and be grossed out and I could rescue Zinc. But I forgot that there would be some outside too. I was sorta mistaken about the quantity.” I looked down “And the quality.

Suddenly, the floor was covered in banana peels.“ CARRIE !” I shouted. Only she could do something so stupid. “Get her !” I commanded. The book MSs tried to run towards the door, but tripped. I changed a wooden walkway to lead to the door and started to run.

CLEANUP IN AISLE NINE!” she yelled into a walkie-talkie, and they all raced away.
“Wait, what?” I whispered from behind Tasha.
“Carrie messed stuff up at the MSification machine,” she responded. “Come on, let’s follow them!”
“But you can’t turn invisible.”
“No, but I have a pet unicorn.”
“What does THAT have to do with anything?” I was starting to panic.
“Just wait,” said Tasha, whispering something that sounded like “Ufroinga wmoer grrama.”
Suddenly, a unicorn appeared out of thin air.
“Nice one, sis,” I said, only half joking. “You’re a pretty good Mary Sue.”
“Uh, thanks?”
“So, WHAT DOES THE STUPID UNICORN HAVE TO DO WITH FOLLOWING THE CULLENS?”
“The stupid unicorn has a name, you know. It’s Rilla,” said Tasha. “And I’m not sure, I… Oh, really? Interesting. OK, Kathryn, get on. Rilla says she can run at light speed, not to mention her abilities as a magic conductor. We’ll both be invisible.”

“CARRIE!” shouted someone – Hera. Zinc, Carrie, and various heroes and Mary Sues were in the room, too. A wooden walkway appeared, leading to the door, and all of the heroes, including me, stampeded out of the room, closely followed by the Mary Sues.

Aggie and Kokonilly were staring at me. “D…d…door !” said Aggie, trying to catch her breath and spit out banana peels. I sort of rolled over and saw what she was talking about. A small , slim door painted exactly the color of the walls was hidden just around the bend. It was so well concealed that it had to be important. I wrenched it open. A janitors closet. Then I looked behind me. Hera and me old friends the Cullens leered at me. I jumped in and saved myself.

We were dropped into some sort of banana peel pit, when I saw a door. I pointed it out to Bookgirl and Kokonilly, but it turned out to be just a broom closet.
Suddenly, Hera and all of the Cullens were leering at us. Bookgirl jumped into the closet to protect herself, leaving Kokonilly and I outside.
“Thanks a BUNCH,” I yelled at the closet door.
“You’re welcome,” replied Bookgirl’s muffled voice.
Immediately, Edward Cullen sped past me in the blink of an eye and pried the door of the closet off the wall, revealing a far from mollified superhero surrounded by cleaning tools. He proceeded to fling the heavy metal door at Kokonilly and myself. We slipped quickly down onto the piles of peel just as the door was about to whack off our heads.
“All right, you hot-blooded hags, prepare to meet your doom!” Reneesme Cullen walked forward on thin legs and aimed a well placed kick at Kokonilly’s stomach with her black stiletto-heeled foot.
“Ouch!” she cried, clutching her stomach. “I though vampires were supposed to bite you, not agive you a steel toe to the spleen.
“All in good time,” Edward returned in a sickeningly inviting tone.

in March 9th, 2009 @ 09:19Anacae followed everyone out of the room. She was puzzled as to why they weren’t running, but as long as she wasn’t caught, she was good. Then, summoning up all her control of her powers, she picked up all the banana peals, and telekinetically threw them at the Mary Sues. After that, she would have liked to collapse on the floor, but she couldn’t, or she’d be caught. She turned around and trudged away with the rest of them. She considered turning into a sparrow, and sitting on someone’s shoulder, but she didn’t have the strength. The one bright spot was that the Mary Sues were now buried in banana peals. Serves them right.

We fled out of knee-deep banana peels, looking a rather mess. I growled at a bunch of people who were apparently following us… Heracles. I saw Heracles. He was slipping over the bananas peels and looking quite stupid.
But he was a Mary Sue. Wonderful, just wonderful. And he wasn’t buried by the banana peels.
I was still a wolf, a normal wolf. Normal indeed. People were running all over the place, in banana peels, slipping, running away. Chasing behind us were a group of strange people. Vampires, I heard someone say.
Someone was screaming: “RUN!” So I did. I bounded through the banana peels, fleeing from the vicious vampires, but not before managing to look back at Heracles to growl.
That’s when I happened to bump into one of those vampires.

I arched my back and hissed. He stepped back, startled. “That’s right.” I said, “I may be in human form, and my true form may be alien, but at heart I am a feline! I have always hated you and the book you came from. Now I will show you something I’ve always wanted to do!” I jumped up and slashed at him with my long nails. He tried to dive under the banana peels to escape, but it was futile. I cut through his chest with a dagger from planet Gilrea. I extracted his heart, shoving it in front of his eyes. Then out of my pocket I took a wooden spike. He looked at me. “You wouldn’t dare. Nobody would dare kill Edward Cullen!” I looked at him with a savage grin. Then slowly, deliberately, I staked him through the heart. My eyes glowing over the triumph, I stood up. Immedietly, all the remaining evil Mary Sues froze. “Thanks Medea!” I called.

Edward Cullen got stabbed by that upstart alien. There was no way that I was going to let that be.I reached for my power and changed the past. Around me, Mary Sues were fighting Heros. I ignored everyone and reached deeper. I didn’t want to have to do this twice. Finally, I returned to the changed present. Edward Cullen was fully alive and strangling Faldrea. That…dog thing… was fighting with its power. The change had obviously messed its powers up. Serves it right.
“Stop fighting !” I shouted, changing again to have a mike in my hand.
“There’s nothing you can do; the minute you harm one of us, I’ll undo it. Surrender now !”
I was completely ignored. Fools. Before they left this base, they would remember the name Hera Rowe in their nightmares. I went back to the mysterious place that was my power. I would rewrite history- because no-one, no-one could stop me.
Carrie:
I tried to stop Hera from undoing Faldreas victory. In vain. She was so much stronger ! I crumpled to the floor, drained. How could she, a human like me, be so strong ? Then I felt a deep fundamental change beginning. This was the end. If I couldn’t stop this change… But it was like a tidal wave, sweeping over and swamping me. I needed to stop her from doing the change.“She’s already doing it.” a little voice in my head said. “You can’t stop her from here.” Then I understood. To get her, I would need to go between space and time. I would need to leave my body to follow her. But what if I couldn’t get back ?
Someone threw a banana peel at Hera. Her concentration broke and I pounced on her change, undoing it before it happened. But someday I would have to follow her between. I shuddered, then concentrated on the present.
Now I had more pressing issues. Edward was strangling Faldrea. I ran to help her.

Howling, I charged towards where that vampire thing was strangling Faldrea. But something wasn’t right. Something was wrong with me.
Immediately, I became the three-headed Cerberus. With my three jaws, I picked up three mouthfuls of banana peels and flung them towards them.
They missed the vampire completely. Someone was in the way… Heracles. Heracles was groaning and complaining about the danger of banana peels. He probably doesn’t have a very complex brain. I’ll never join the Mary sues, I thought, even if it’s just because I hated Heracles. I charged towards him, surprising him.
Suddenly, I was on top of him, whacking him with my spiked tail. He dodged, and instead, I pelted on him three mouthfuls of banana peels. He coughed out a peel in his mouth, then focused on trying to get me out of his hair.
He threw me across the room, and I crashed into a wall. My head hurt really badly. But still, I had to get revenge. I stood up once more.
I was caught in a spell of dizziness, and I slumped back down. It wasn’t just the bump, it was also the sight of Heracles running towards me and Hera changing history. And the sight that we, a group of heroes, fighting against a stronger, bigger group of Mary Sues.

Arrgh! That Mary Sue must have messed with the time stream! Now that disgusting freak was strangling me! “Medea” I called with my mind, “If you can hear me, help!” My vision was blurring. I saw Medea turn out of the corner of my eye. Suddenly, the pain on my neck ceased. I looked at Edward. He was frozen. I ran away from him. “Medea,” I yelled, “Can you pull characters out of books?” “Yes!” “Good.” I said, pulling my copy of Blade Of Fire out of my pocket. “Let’s show them what a real undead army looks like!” Medea’s eyes rolled back in her head as she assumed her powerful magic. In a minute Her Vampiric Majesty and her minions filled the room. “Hello, fan Faldrea. Whose hearts shall we rip out today?” She asked. “Kill the Mary Sues and do what you wish with the bodies.” I replied. With a delighted cry the creatures set upon the Mary Sues, preparing to rip out throats and feast. One of the higher-ranked vampire set upon Hera herself.

in March 11th, 2009 @ 10:01Anacae sat in the corner, unnoticed. Pushing all those banana peals hadn’t done anything, except make the Mary Sues madder. And it had nearly completely drained her. She longed for the old days, when she could do much more before becoming drained. Now she couldn’t even help her new friends in the fight. Well, not unless she could get enough strength to transform into something helpful. Pulling herself into a standing position, she reached out to her power, pulling it at her, wrapping a change around her. She didn’t try to control what change, as that would simply take too much effort. She could feel the change reluctantly coming, reluctantly allowing her to be something else for a while. She concentrated fully on it, willing the change to happen. Finally, it came fully into effect, and she could feel the customary change, some parts growing, some getting larger. A tail sprouted, she could feel that. But what was she now? She could hear a ripple of surprise running through the room, that the person sitting in the corner could do this. Opening her eyes, she looked down to see what she was. It was no surprise that everyone in the room was looking at her. It was not every day that the person sitting beside you randomly morphed into a dragon.
But I can’t turn into imaginary creatures! Anacae thought. Well, she’d figure it out later. Turning to a Mary Sue, she breathed out.
She was rather surprised when instead of fire, a wave of energy came out, and the Mary Sue- Anacae was pretty sure she was a vampire- fell slowly to the ground, asleep. Suddenly Anacae realized something. That’s how I was freed from the stasis. she thought. I absorbed the energy, and now I can release it. And she turned to a new Mary Sue, sleeping him.

Then I spread my hands and called back a cage from the past when this had been a room for experiments on gorillas and orangoutangs. Then cage was plain metal, with no energy to absorb. I looked at the troops and spoke one word- useless. Whatever they did, I would undo it. I raised my arms again. Now I would have some fun.Carrie:
Suddenly the whole base shook, as if disturbed by a violent earthquake. Mary Sues and heros alike were knocked off their feet. I was catapulted towards Hera.“Stop it !” I shouted at her.
“I’m not doing this !” she shouted back as another quake struck. “The time/matter continuum is messed up because of to many changes.”
“But that’s your fault ! You used your powers to much !”
“But you waste them ! Letting it rain bananas- please. That’s just plain pathetic.”
I threw a banana peel at her, but missed. The base was pitching like a ship at sea.
“Surrender now and we can all get out of here !” shouted Hera
“No, you surrend, stupend, oh just give up !” I shouted back.

There I was, lying against the wall, my head hurting… watching in amazement as a girl, Anacae, morphed into a a dragon. My left head was whining, my center head was staring at the battle, my right head growling .I stood up slowly as Heracles approached.
“Die, Cerberus, ” he shouted, pausing because it didn’t sound right. “If you can die, ” he added.
I could die. I was not the Cerberus that was famous, merely a random girl adopted by Hades and named after him. Two of my heads growled, my center head glaring at him, ready to speak.
“I can, ” I said softly. It was the truth. I was a weakling against Heracles, a Mary sue with immortal strength. It was pointless to resist, out of the corner of my eye I saw the battle waging around us.
“Huh. ” He took out a club, decked with sharp thorns and amazingly heavy. It would hurt against a head… or three. “I thought that you were immortal… never mind. Let’s just imagine you are just a normal three-headed dog and get rid of you.”
“I’m not,” I muttered, “I am what is known as a hero, and I’m not going to let you get rid of me without a fight.” But it was pointless. He pounced on me with a roar, managing not to slip over the banana peels.
I defended myself fiercely with my fangs nd claws, teeth gnashing, tail swinging. He yelled and dodged, swinging his club, and perhaps it was a miracle that I actually was not hit. But it was as pointless as it seemed. Within seconds, he had me cornered.
I growled, standing my ground, but I knew there was no point now. I was going to die. “Last words?” asked Heracles, but the response were growls from each of my heads.
Then the club came down and all was a deep blackness.…
I woke up in a dark underground cavern I knew as the UnderWorld. All was so quiet, so deserted. It was unlike the place I’ve known. How did I get here?
Right. I remembered now. Heracles killed me, now I was back home. Maybe I had to thank him… no, I would never thank him. not him. big jerk. Not the guy I’ve been taught to hate by…
Old Cerberus. Where was he? And father? I rose to my feet. I was no a human, I felt fine. Except for the stinging head, of course. I walked out of the room I was in, and froze.
Outside the room I came from, there were so many people. Dead peoples… dead Mary sues. Gruesome vampires, skeletons, people… all Mary Sues. Such was their aura. A deep evil drifted around…
What had happened? Wrapping my dark cloak around myself, i stepped among them, unnoticed. I walked towards Cerberus’ stand at the door… he wasn’t there. The Mary sues were flooding out, returning to life. Oh no. It was all horrific, I knew exactly what had happened.
The Mary Sues had taken over the UnderWorld.

Hera vanished. Others may have been confused, but I knew where she was. Between. In that small window between space and time, nowhere but with the ability to be anywhere. I’d never completely gone there- for the simple reason that I didn’t know how to get back. I could be stuck there forever…“Follow me…” she dared me.
“Go !” shouted someone. “Stop her before she ruins the time/matter continuum !”
I wanted to explain, but I couldn’t breathe. Suddenly the whole world did a 360° and fell away. I dropped to my knees. Then I felt the cold floor. I was still here and now, but the banana peels had vanished. So had Hera. “What next ?” I wondered, not doubting for a second that she would be back.

In a cage… A cage, with metal bars. But she was still a dragon, and while she was a dragon, she could get out. Grabbing the bars with her teeth, she wrenched at them, trying to bend them. But they were stronger than they looked. I couldn’t breath fire, and the sleep power would do nothing against the bars. She was still too tired to transform into anything. She might be able to manipulate the bars, but she was again too tired. Also, the entire building was shaking and threatening to fall. Well, when there were other people there, she could ask them about it. “Help!” But they were all fighting, with little time to spare for a imprisoned fellow member. She realized that she had somehow morphed back to a human. Then somebody, who was standing over in the corner, came over and addressed her. “You need help?”
“Yes, I appear to be stuck in this cage. You know how I could get out?”
The girl appeared to start thinking. “Well… I might be able to. What are your powers?”
“I can manipulate objects, transform into non-imaginary animals- and a dragon- and detect people. But just now I’m really tired, so I can’t do much of anything.”
“Wonderful. If you could transform, we could get you out easily, but now, we have to think.” And she began to do just that.

I walked through the Mary- Sue- filled UnderWorld. Everything were not working out very well. The Mary Sues didn’t see me, but I could not see anyone I knew that could help me.
No point in walking around doing nothing, I thought. The Mary Sues were pouring out the door, returning to life. This was one bad part. I had to stop them… somehow. If only I knew how…
Quickly, I turned into the three-headed dog and positioned myself at the entrance.
I growled. The gate fell down, the Mary Sues turned to stare at me. They completely surrounded me, and if they were to attack, I had no chance to win.
It was not a great day for me. The Mary Sues piled on to me, and began knocking away at the gate. I wasn’t going to hold very long. Well, at least I tried…
Then darkness again. Is it possible to die in the UnderWorld? Huh, I would find out. Gasping for breath, I uttered a last breath.

In s base in the present, fighting the Mary Sues. Hera and Carrie caused several time/space disturbances. Kokonilly is unwell from the fighting/destruction, Errata is stuck in a cage. The evil Mary Sues are still here, but withdrawing after Hera left. Let’s regroup and have a council of war.))

Herakles way lying in the middle of the hall like a felled tree, out cold or dead.Now comes the bad news: Herakles hadn’t killed Cerberus for the simple reason that a big, black boar had gored him first. A very big, evil black boar with enormous horns that fancied a little Carrie as desert. It charged at me, grunting and lowering it’s horns. I screamed and ran the other way, fast.

I zipped up to the boar. “Hey hotshot, look over here!” I chucked a banana peel at him. Abruptly, it stopped and turned to look at me. It grinned.
I grinned right back and prepared to make some boar stew.

I pranced over to him, and saw that he was somehow frozen. Huh again. I pounced on him, giving him a black eye. IO decided not to kill him, for it wasn’t nice to kill a frozen man. I lept away to help fight off the boar thing.

I took a step in the direction of the monstrosity. But then, out of the corner of my eye, I saw her. The perfect hair. The spotless riding dress. I knew her. This was the spoiled one. The dragon beater. This was Hortense. As soon as I saw her, my hands formed into claws and a feral hiss started. Just because I wasn’t physically a cat, didn’t mean I wasn’t mentally one! The Mary Sue ran toward me. I let my sharp nails fly, drawing five shallow gashes across her face. By all acounts, that should have stopped her, but it didn’t.
“I see you learned some self-defense after being taken from your book.” I growled.
“Yes,” she said, “Including learning to do this.”
She grabbed my wrists and twisted so that I lay onm the ground.
“Uh, guys? I could use a little help here! If any of you can make this room mirrorlike do so now!”

Reaching deep, deep within herself, she tried to find a hint of energy. Deeper, deeper… She delved deeper within herself than she knew existed, and she found it. Energy. More energy than she could possibly have right now, but she didn’t question it. Reaching out, she found a form that would fit through the bars, and not be too difficult—A squirrel— she pulled it around herself, forcing it to come. And it obeyed. A squirrel came crawling out between the bars, and lay gasping on the floor, a moment later turning back into a person. But however many times she managed to transform just one more time, she would eventually have to stop. She needed rest, and badly. But she wasn’t likely to get it soon. Standing up, she walked over to where everyone else was talking, and started listening.

“But if you have the same powers…” Delta inquired.
“I just can’t. I can’t, okay.” I insisted. Would they kick me out now that they knew ? I was to tired to think it through. To tired to do anything but lean back against a table.
Hera:
“Who is it ?”“I think en is called Cerberus. But there’s something strange about en.”
“I should think so. Carrie brought Cerberus back from the dead. Not that en wouldn’t have found ens way out eventually, but still…”
“Carrie brought someone back from the dead ? How will we stop her from interfering with Mr Joe’s plans if she-”
I cut her off.
“Carrie poses no threat to us. You can sense your sister- and I too take advantage of mine. Did you really think one twin would be so much better than the other ? Of course not. I borrow some of her power- and some of her energy too, if I’m tired. She’s afraid to confront me, so she can’t get it back. Too bad for her. She’s probably tired and depressive from the drain- but none of her fancy friends can help her. If she wants her full power, she’ll have to come and get it. Come to me. I’ll be waiting.”
“You’re bad.” replied Kitty, sounding somewhere between awed and disgusted.

Some hero I am. I’m just that stupid, unlucky girl who fell onto power lines in a broken jet pack. The only thing I can do at this point is cast a force-field… That’s it!
I spread the field out, into something like a hand-glider to catch the wind. The strain eased.
“We’re going to make it!” I told my passenger.

We sat down to wait for the people who flew. A few minutes later I saw something out of the corner of my eye. I spun around, and there was a blur of motion and I was down. Aliisza stood on top of me, sword drawn.
“You’re a fast little Mary Sue.” I said, before calling out “Medea! Link our minds so I can tell you what to do. I have the knowhow to fight her, you have the ability!” Immedietly, I felt her mind brush mine.
I thought.
she replied. I gave her a stream of commands. Every time Aliisza struck, we retaliated. Every blow the alu-fiend gave was parried.
“That’s right, Aliisza. I read your books. You cannot beat us. What will your precious Vhok and Tauran think of you when they find out how easily you were beaten? And Kael? What of him? Don’t you think the divine champion will be a little ashamed that his mother was beaten by a pitiful shape-shifter and witch?”
Snarling in anger, she charged. It was just the moment we had waited for. I yelled in my mind. Immedietly Medea wove a spell, and Alissza fell into peacefull stasis. Just then, the heros arrived.
“We’ve got a Mary Sue!” I yelled. “Now we can make a de-Sue-ifier!”

The wolf-boy, who I now recognize as Jacob Black, glares at me with the expression of a hunter, baring his teeth like an angry dog. I notice he’s holding a time-and-space remote, and have a flash of inspiration. Crazy idea time.
I morph slowly, never breaking eye contact. Hunger flickers in his dark eyes. Suddenly, he sprouts claws and fangs – he’s morphing, too! But I have a head start, and while he’s shrinking and growing fur, I leap at his hand/paw thingy.
He makes a sound that’s half yell, half howl, and the remote clatters to the floor. My paws scrabble at it, and I manage to press the button in the nick of time.
I whirl dizzyingly through time and space, and before I know it, I’m somewhere else.
((I’m with all the other heroes, wherever they all are.))
KITTY:
I sense Rainbowstar’s fear and uncertainty as she morphs, knocks the remote out of Jake’s hand, and pounces on the button. Then she’s back with the other heroes. Escaping.
I flatten my ears back, signifying to Hera that I didn’t like what had just happened. “Escaped. How can she have just done that? Jake could eat a cat in three bites. And he was supposed to be carefully guarding the remote, now that the Musers know about it. We need to tighten security.”

When the world stopped swirling dizzily, I was dangling from the end of something huge, long, and flexible, my claws grasping between rough things like scales.
They were scales.
I was on a dragon’s tail! I don’t know about dragons, but I hate it when someone steps on my tail. Just as I thought this, a jet of flames blasted behind me.
It narrowly missed me as I scampered up the tail, like climbing a horizontal tree. A horizontal tree that was moving from side to side like a snake and occasionally flicking, hundreds of feet in the air. If I hadn’t had claws, there’s no way I could’ve hung on.
When I reached the dragon’s back, I noticed someone sitting there. Carrie! Or was it Hera?
Suddenly, the dragon angled down. I yowled and almost slipped off its back, my claws saving me once again. I hoped all this clawing wasn’t bothering it too much. The girl clutched en’s neck, looking terrified, and I decided she was Carrie. Mary Sues weren’t scared of anything.
KITTY
I followed Hera to the control room. I was sick of being the henchperson, but I couldn’t bring myself to actually dislike her. I just didn’t want to be obeying all the other Sues like a stupid dog.
Speaking of dogs, Hera blew the whistle. It was high and irritating – I guess cats could hear it too. A huge russet wolf bounded into the room and morphed into human form. “Your sister got away. And I was hungry.”
I didn’t flinch. I knew Jacob would never attack me. “We’re all going to eat back at Mr. Joe’s base,” said Hera. “Have you got the remote?”
Jacob pulled it out of his pocket and tossed it to her. She put it aside. “Good, we can get back when we want. Now for the tracking … “

“I don’t think that’ll work in here. The metal shielding lining the walls creates a Faraday cage effect.”

I tumbled off the dragon/Anacae, fell down and stayed that way.“Carrie ?” asked Rainbowstar, who had climbed up behind me on the dragon.
“I’m just going to lay here and enjoy the feeling of having solid ground under myself. Nice, solid, sheltered ground that doesn’t move.”
Then I heard Kokonilly say: “Let´s order pizza to celebrate !”.
I raced inside just in time to hear Delta V explain that it wouldn’t work.
“I can fix that.” I said brightly, changing events so that the pizza delivery boy came here and dumped the pizza…
“Ouch !” I shouted as a hawain pizza (large, extra pinapple) fell seemingly from nowhere and hit me on the head, followed by a peperoni pizza (medium, extra cheese), a sausage pizza (extra large), a four-cheese…
The last one (broccoli, extra large) fell onto my upraised hands. I lowered them and opened the box.
“Broccoli, my least favorite.” I announced.
Hera:
“Rainbowstar, you can sense your sister, right ? Find out when she is. Now let’s get some food. Pizza, anyone ?”

in March 30th, 2009 @ 14:08Anacae landed smoothly. She loved flying. Swinging her tail around to allow the cat that had appeared halfway through the flight off, she waited until everyone was off, and closed her eyes, pulling her human form around her. A moment later, her dragon form slowly dissolved, leaving her normal form. Looking around at the base, she furrowed her eyebrows, trying to remember. Not being able to remember this base, she assumed it must be newer. Well, it didn’t matter. Going over to the pizza boxes, she grabbed a slice of four-cheese, and began to eat with everyone else, sitting down on the floor, cross-legged. She hadn’t realized how hungry she was.

in March 30th, 2009 @ 17:16The dragon landed. I was grateful – flying had always been scary to me. Climbing, jumping, squeezing through small spaces, okay, but I hated depending on a machine or animal to keep me from falling to my death.
Carrie tumbled off. I started to demorph. “Carrie?” I asked concernedly, as soon as my shifting mouth could form the syllables.
“I’m just going to lay here and enjoy the feeling of having solid ground under myself. Nice, solid, sheltered ground that doesn’t move.â€
The dragon swung its tail around, and I half-jumped, half-fell off en’s back as I finished demorphing.
The dragon seemed to dissolve, and became a girl. Now that would be a useful morph. Flight, fire breath, and a size that would be useful in a fight. Better than a skinny little kitten bred more for cat shows than adventures.
Suddenly, pizza started falling from the sky. Oddly, this didn’t seem particularly strange compared to everything else that had happened. I’d just escaped from a fictional werewolf with a teleportation remote, and flown to safety on the dragon morph of another hero.
Anyway, I was hungry. I grabbed a slice of pepperoni pizza and began to eat.
KITTY
“My name isn’t Rainbowstar,” I snapped. “That’s my idiot sister. Anyway, she’s … ”She was eating. I could faintly taste …
“Pizza,” we said together.

Hm… If nobody wants to betray the MJ League, (I don’t know whether you, Aliena, want to just leave, or actually betray it) then I can use my character that’s been floating around in my head, although it wouldn’t be so stunning if somebody that had only just joined betrayed us. Hm… Maybe the people who are building a de-sueifizer could discover that a necessary component is something that there’s only one of, and it’s heavily guarded. Or… Maybe book characters that weren’t called start coming out of books, because of all the callings, and they’re mad, and start rampaging everywhere, and they’re really powerful, so we have two enemies, or… We could be forced to band up with the Mary Sues, to get rid of the book characters… I’m brainstorming, none of this is at all final. I don’t think a new character would help anything, or I’d add one. Although I might use the above character that’s been floating around on the evil side… Anyway, I’m done. Long post, for no roleplaying. I won’t make it longer and roleplay.

Urch. That gave me three mouthfuls of squishy tomato sauce and cheese. I’m not trying that again… not anytime soon. Urch.
I was completely miserable, so I tiptoed up to Carrie.
“Carrie?” I whimpered, “Can you make some kind of cake?”
“Cake?”
“Yes. Have you ever heard of Psyche? She made some delicious cake…”
((Clarification: Psyche as in the Psyche in Greek Mythology, who went into the UnderWorld in a task for Aphrodite. On the way she fed cake to Cerberus… yum.))

Suddenly I heard footsteps. It was two super heroes, walking along. Instantly, for everyone else had noticed, we dropped into stealth mode. We walked around the town, as if we were perfectly normal. I walked right next to the super heroes. Realizing they were going to the supermarket, I dashed in front of them, and took over as the store clerk. “How may I help you?” I asked, as nicely as I could before performing hypnosis on them.

((Cerberus, here´s a summary:
The heros are camping on a base in a mountain, eating. Carrie made it rain pizza, then ravioli. No everyone is trying to kick-start the plot:
-Hera, Kitty (Carrie and Rainbowstars evil sisters) are plotting in an base and bossing around Jacob Black. One of my ideas was that they could be in a base under the MJL base, resulting in general confusion.
-Carrie is going into town to try and eat a chocolate pie-every time she tries to, the Mary Sues attack/make it impossible for her to finish her meal. (I´m trying to make it into a sort of standing joke).
-Delta V (KaiYves) is working on a de-sueifier with some of the smarter/tech wiz heros at the mountain base.Carrie:
That clerk was weird… “CHOCOLATE PIE !” I said.
“Excuse me ?” he asked.
“CHOCOLATE PIE !”I insisted. The whole world had turned into a mandala, but knew what I wanted- chocolate pie. And I was going to get it. I walked into store, behind the “cakes for all occasions” counter, got out a chocolate pie and started to eat it.

My middle head sighed. The head on the right was already asleep, the left head looking around warily. Someday, when this punishment was over… i would return to old Cerbe and the UnderWorld and live as I once did.
Two of my heads fell asleep.

“Yeah, so?”
“Well, my major power, tranformation, only works in an enviroment completely composed of mirrors. If we can seperate the portable mirror room from the Sueifier, I can enter it to get my power back.” I put my head on the table and whispered “Get my power back. For the firfst time in 13 Earth years.”
“I think I can help you.” Said Medea.

I had a dream.I was home, in the Underworld. I started sniffing around to find Hades, Persephone, and old Cerbe. But nothing smelled familiar. It didn’t seem like the Underworld at all. It looked the same, but…
I spun around when I smelled something. There was a skeletal Mary Sue, mouth fixed in a wicked grin. It held a large spiked club, and it did not seem that the club was just his decoration.
I growled, and he swung the club on me. I leaped out of the way, but he just grunted and swung at me again. I lunged forward and my middle head’s sharp fangs crushed into the bone. He threw away his club in surprise and reached down to strangle me, but was snapped at by my left head.
Then I retreated, but saw in horror that the whole Underworld was filled with Mary Sues. There were even more Mary Sues than when I actually died. This was not good. I rushed towards the gate to see many Mary Sues rushing out to return to life.
They saw me, and surrounded me. They kept coming, I was no match for them. I fought, bu it was useless. At last I whined and collapsed into a heap.
Nightwing, whispered a voice.
then I woke up.

in April 28th, 2009 @ 07:30I flattened against the back wall. Another attack, with half our people gone. No. No. I hadn’t had time to rest, to sleep. I could hardly move. NO! I would be helpless, watching my friends. I was helpless! Not again! I’d been helpless before, watching my friends fight and die, at least partly for me. I needed food. More food. I needed rest. I needed… “SLEEP!”
The last word came out as a shout, and I was suddenly the only person awake in the room. I had moments to look around, before my friends woke up. They looked around at the bodies lying asleep. “What happened here?”
“I don’t know. I just shouted ‘sleep’ and everyone was asleep. Watch it though, they might wake up soon. I don’t know.((If you don’t like this, please have everyone wake up. I’ve decided Anacae is too powerful with her powers, so I think I’m going to morph them into something else. See, my idea is, she was put in some sort of electrically/magically induced coma while she was prisoner, and left there. She absorbed the power, which short-circuited her other powers, but gave her a bit of control over sleep. It’s growing, and her other powers may disappear, or certainly change. I’m also adding another hero, who may be on either side. Haven’t decided yet.))

in April 28th, 2009 @ 17:26I ducked into a closet and began to morph. My bones and organs ground and twisted as my body shifted shape, and short white fur sprouted all over me. My ears slid to the top of my head, and a tail shot out. I’d always hated how freakish I looked when I was morphing. Kitty could do it much better. She already had the ears and tail, and she would sort of gracefully shrink down and grow fur all at once. I wondered if she was here.
My fingers shrunk back into my white furry paws, and the morph was complete. I flexed my claws and sprang out the door, which I’d left open a crack.
Criss-crossing the hallway was a network of rope, tied in elaborate loops. I didn’t know much about knots, but I could tell it was a trap. However, plenty of the loops were big enough for my slender cat body to slip through. For once, I was glad to be an Oriental Shorthair.
This might take a while, I thought. I didn’t like things that took a long time, but I had to get out and help my friends. I leapt onto the closest knot.

In a flash, i was in the UnderWorld. My dream was indeed true. There were Mary Sues everywhere, swarming through the gates, into the world of the living. Which meant that a lot of dead Mary Sues are returning to life. Which meant huge trouble…
I snarled and dashed towards the wide open gate. That was Cerberus’ post… but he wasn’t here right now. With three growls I threatened all the Mary Sues and swung the gate shut with my spiked dragon tail.
They stared at me and crowded around me…
It was going to be hard, but I’ll have to hold them off a bit.

“I was just eating my pie when you and Eddie showed up and bothered me, stupid !” countered Carrie.
“I was trying to kill her like you told me to, and I can’t kill someone while they´re eating a pie. It’s… undignified. And I’m not called Eddie, soon-to-be dead imbecile !”
Carrie:
“You’re the stupid ones ! Now tie her up and bring her back to base. That’s and order, vampire !” commanded Hera.I did the only thing I could think of and lobbed the sorry remains of the pie into Hera’s face, then started running as fast as I could when I heard her shriek.

in April 29th, 2009 @ 20:16As I climbed and leapt along the network of rope, a small group of Sues rounded the corner. I yowled and dug my claws into a fat knot. There was no escape.
One of them must have realized I wasn’t an ordinary cat, because he dived for me, arms outstretched. He was promptly tangled in the rope. His friends tried to rescue him, but they were quickly wrapped in rope too.
From then, a steady stream of Sues came in and became trapped like flies in a web. I tried to ignore it as I climbed along. It was like climbing a tree with very thin, wobbly branches. Except, of course, for the good-looking teenager with fangs, who struggled at his bonds with his eyes fixed on me. It seemed he’d like nothing better than to suck the blood from a small, helpless animal.
When I was almost at the end, I noticed another cat. Judging by his scent, I didn’t think he was another animal morpher, but there was something weird about him. He was a skinny grey tabby tom of no particular breed. I wouldn’t have thought he was a Sue, except for his unearthly blue eyes. They seemed to stare into whatever soul another cat like me could have.
As I carefully balanced on several knotted strands of rope, I had an uneasy feeling I knew who this cat was.

The gate burst open again. I triple growled and tried to force it shut again, but they gained on me and all burst out.
I was getting trampled. Oh, look at me, I was a pathetic little three-headed dog under a stampede of Sue ghosts. The real Cerberus would never have been like this.
Strange. I’ve lived a long time with the sense that Cerberus was near, even a few days ago. But now, that sensation faded. I was alone.
Alone.
I was a grieving three-headed puppy, that’s more like it. I was not tough, or strong, or even brave. I whined and backed away from the gate sadly.
I was nothing but a sad puppy.
Two of my heads suddenly disappeared, and I whimpered, sagging. i let the Sues go out all they wanted, I could do nothing against them.

in May 1st, 2009 @ 17:12At the other end of the rope network, KaiYves seemed to be drawing on a sleeping Mary Sue. I had no time to watch, or to confront Jayfeather. I scampered to the last rope, which was stretched at an awkward angle, and leapt off. I landed on my paws, but seconds later something large and heavy slammed into me.
Suddenly I was lying on my back, pinned down by my attacker. He was a large tomcat, with a golden tabby pelt and amber eyes. Pinning me down with one paw, he flexed his sharp claws inches from my small pink nose. He smelled of the forest. I’d never liked forests – too muddy and dark, and the prey was scrawny and fast.
“You can let her up now, Lionblaze,” I heard another cat meow. The large golden tabby rolled off me, into a defensive crouch in case I was dumb enough to attack him. I sat up, and saw that the speaker was another female cat, with a sleek black pelt and green eyes. There was less aggression in her scent, and she gave off a distinct aura of being in charge. Hollyleaf.
Jayfeather padded up beside his sister – it seemed the ropes hadn’t trapped his skinny cat body. In his jaws was a stick with strange scratches. Setting it down at his paws, he meowed, “What should we do with her?” The Three were surrounding me. How could I get away?
“She isn’t a warrior,” Hollyleaf told her brothers. “She’s a threat to Greenstar’s plan.”
I purred in amusement. He’d told them his name was Greenstar?
“Kill her,” hissed Lionblaze.

in May 1st, 2009 @ 20:16CERBERUSCERAI didn’t do much against them when they rushed past me, or stepped on my tail. I was a whining little puppy, and i wasn’t much of Cerberus. I was Cera now… the frightened little girl who found her way to the Underworld when she died. I was back to who I was, and I didn’t like it.
Frightened by the crowds, I was pushed out of the Underworld along with all the Sues. I panted as soon as I reached the sunlight. Ouch. I hated sunlight, but it didn’t hurt me. when I was Cerberus, it would’ve.
i was Cera now. I would have to deal with that…
I made my way into the sunlit world.
Someday, I thought. Someday.

“Are you done scanning yet, Medea?” I yelled, frantically battling Mary Sues, using my dagger when possible, but more often resorting to martial arts. (I had learned Akido during my stay on Earth).
“Yes!”
“And?”
“All clear!”
“Finally!”
I fought my way through the Mary Sues untill I could jump right into the portable mirror room. Immediately, I transformed. When I stepped out, the being I had become was quite interesting to behold. I had a cream colored, egg shaped body. Thirteen tentacles, each with four short tentacles sprouting from the end, sprouted from underneath me, while four claw-tipped tentacles hung by my sides. In this new form, I sliced through Mary Sues like a knife through hot butter, shouting insults with the thought-speech granted with the form.

in May 1st, 2009 @ 23:38“We have to kill her,” growled Lionblaze, lashing his tail. Every hair on his golden pelt quivered on end, and every muscle was tensed. His claws dug into the carpet, ready to tear into my throat, my belly.
“Wait!” yowled Hollyleaf, extending a warning paw towards her brother. Lionblaze relaxed, but kept his amber eyes on me. Jayfeather was staring at the wall, lost in his own world.
Hollyleaf drew herself up to her full height, her tail straight in the air. “What are you doing here?”
My pelt prickled. “I’m just passing through. I’m a loner that the heroes sometimes feed, but I don’t support them.”
“She’s lying,” meowed Jayfeather. “Brightspirit doesn’t trust her. This cat supports the heroes, I’m sure of it.”

in May 2nd, 2009 @ 10:53((Okay, since some people are assuming the Sues are asleep and some aren’t, I think, I assume after we tied up around half of them, more or less as wished, the rest woke up and we’re still fighting them.
Aggie: Correct me if I’m wrong, and please note that I don’t remember where you last were, but we fought off an attack in Mr. Joe’s base, retreated to a secret base in the hills, where we took some time out to eat pizza and ravioli, and then, while some went in to town, others stayed back, and both groups are now being attacked by Sues. My character, did something which caused the Sues to fall asleep, and we tied some of them up. (see above) We’re still fighting, I think, although Rainbowstar is in Mr. Joe’s base confronting Warrior cats still, if I am correct.))I sat in my corner again, watching. Several Sues were tied up and still asleep, but some others had woken up. I could feel every drop of power within me gone, I knew not where. I was helpless, totally utterly. I always was, it seemed. What good was I, to the Heros, if I could never help? These dismal thoughts wound their way all around my head, filling me with hopelessness.

I was falling through space, but I was also falling through time. Where would I end up?
Suddenly, the blackness through which I was falling became a sky. Below me were… trees? They were kind of funny-looking.
I fell through the branches of one of them, landing with a thump on the ground.
“What was that?” asked a voice from one of the trees. A head with straight blond hair and oddly pointed ears stared down at me. I hoped to God I was invisible.
“I don’t see anything,” en–who looked and sounded male–responded to the unseen first voice.
Phew.
Another voice called out in a really strange language. It sounded like…
Oh, no. Elvish!
I knew where I was now, and I had a pretty good idea when…

Lionblaze pounces, claws outstretched. I leap away, but he springs at me again. Hollyleaf jumps onto my back, her sharp claws digging into my fur. As I struggle to free myself, Lionblaze does some weird technique with his paw that makes me stumble. “Brightspirit!” yowls Jayfeather, and I feel – but don’t see – the claws of a third attacker.
There are stinging cuts on my shoulders and flanks, and it’s obvious the warriors are going to rip me apart. “Back!” screeches Lionblaze. Hollyleaf and the unseen Brightspirit retreat, and I try to get to my paws, but I feel Lionblaze’s teeth in my scruff. With all his might, he flings me several feet. I lie there like a dead cat, drained of energy.
I hear human footsteps, and KaiYves runs toward me. The Three – and presumably Brightspirit, though I can’t see her – scatter. KaiYves manages to whack Lionblaze with a wrench.
I slowly get to my paws, my white pelt spattered with blood. Cats are hardier than you might think.

Suddenly I felt a rush of power come into me. I felt I could turn into a three- headed dog. I had all of Cera’s power now.
I could turn into a three-headed dog. I tried it out, then decided to become a spy.
Oh my. This was going to be fun.
CERA:
I explored the world. Everything seemed so new to me. I had spent too much time in the darkness.
The darkness. Ah, I was only a puppy now. I was either a puppy dog or a little girl. I would take a long time getting to where ever I was to go.
Ah, right. The headquarters. i forgot where that was, for I have entered the Underworld through the ground.
But did I want to go back? I was free now. Yawning, I lay on the grass to go back to sleep.

There was a bang and suddenly I found myself staring at something very green. Grass, leaves, light and people talking about intruders. What was that language ? Elfish. Oh great.“Oh, you’re sitting on my foot !” exclaimed someone. I looked around but couldn’t see anyone/-thing.
The other one:
A small puppy was laying in a clearing near some trees.“I wish I was you.” I told it, enviously. “You never have to cope with annoying people and no-one tries to kill you 24/7.”
Suddenly the little dog turned into a little girl. I gasped and stepped back quickly in case it turned into a rhinoceros.

I dashed out of the woods in Cerberus form when I saw Cera talking to who I assumed to be Carrie. No, the little pup was not going to ruin my plans.
“I’m back!” I said to Carrie(or who I assumed her to be). Cera gaped at me, and I stuck three tongues out at her.
“But I’m Cerberus!” she exclaimed. “Or at least, I used to be. Who are y—”
“Oh, ignore her.” I grinned three “nice” smiles at the confuzzled Carrie/Hera. “She’s just a confused little girl. Who are you going to believe, a silly little puppy girl or me?”

“Okay…” Carrie still looked as she trusted the little jerk. “Then if you’re Cerberus… who is she?”
“Oh, she’s Cera. I think.” I glanced at Cera, who was too afraid to say anything. Wonderful.
CERA:
I’ve lost. Again. Just when Carrie began to believe me instead.
“Yeah, umm… I guess I am Cera.” I’ll have to find a time to talk to her again. And fast. Because soon Typhaea was going to become a Mary Sue and there’ll be lots of trouble.
Carrie looked at me strangely.

Psyche was said to be as beautiful as Aphrodite herself, so Aphrodite sent Eros to shoot her with an arrow that she would fall in love with the first person she sees. Aphrodite would make sure that a really ugly person would be conviently there when she woke up. But when Eros came to her bedside, he accidentally scratched himself with the arrow. So he whisked her away on the west wind to a palace full of invisible servants to be his wife. At night, he would come, but she never saw his face. So one time her sisters came to visit. They told lies about her husband and made Psyche worried that her husband was a monster. So one night, she crept in to her husband’s room and showed a candle on his face. His eyes snapped upward, and the next thing Psyche knew, she was in a desolate briar patch where the castle once stood.l She came back to her castle and wept for her lost husband. Some say that Eros felt sorry for her and got her back, making her a goddess of when relatives tell lies to beloved, she whisks them away and tells them it’s not true.

I looked around at the tied up people. “What are we doing with these?”
I paused a moment. “Wait, stupid question. They’re tied up. The real question is, what are we doing?”
My question was met with blank stares. They evidently hadn’t thought about this before. A moment of silence ensued, before I spoke up again. “I vote we get to sleep. It’s getting late, and we’re all tired.” I paused a moment. “Should we leave the door open? On the one hand, if the others get back, they’ll want to come in. On the other hand, the Sues would be able to come in too. Though, I really don’t think that the Sues will attack us again too soon after the beating they took today. It’s probably safe to leave it open. What do you think?”

in May 9th, 2009 @ 19:20“The fingerprint reader will unlock the door if anybody else comes back, so I guess we can leave the door closed and go to sleep.” I said. If I slept under a sunlamp, my powers would be fully restored in a few hours.
Walking back, I briefly reflected on how lucky having a fingerprint, rather than DNA scanner had turned out to be. We’d never considered we’d be dealing with twins when we’d put it in, but, since even twins have different fingerprints, it was certainly useful.

Hollyleaf appeared to be dreaming of running, her legs twitching in the air. So much for holding the power of the stars in their paws.

And my body aged properly during my time on Earth, so I was now physically as well as actually 27 Zorpaen sun cycles plus 13 Earth years (I don’t know the conversions).

in May 10th, 2009 @ 01:04In the sleeping quarters, everyone crawled into warm beds. I decided to sleep in human form, as there weren’t any cat beds I could see.
The lights were turned off, except for a sun lamp that KaiYves was sleeping under. I didn’t mind – I could see pretty well in light or dark conditions. I curled up under the covers and fell asleep, exhausted from the day’s events.

Errata (Anacae)
in May 10th, 2009 @ 19:35I went to the room that was designated for sleep with everyone else. Finding a corner near the door, I settled down in it. Setting my watch to go off at midnight, I put my hand under my pillow, hoping it wouldn’t come out during the night. Everyone fell asleep, including me. At twelve o’clock, my alarm went off, and I woke up with minimal beeping. Hastily shutting it off, I stood up and looked around. If those around me knew what I was doing, they’d hate me. But they didn’t. I through a quick look around to make sure they were, and found some writing materials. I wrote, Don’t worry about me, looked at it, and crumpled it. After careful thought, I wrote another message. Don’t come looking for me. Sorry I can’t tell you more, but if you don’t know what I’m doing, you can’t be tortured into sharing it. I’ll be fine.
Ten minutes later I was flying along the same path I had flown along earlier. A sparrow, this time, as dragons were so noticeable. I found the Sue’s base easily, and then guards apprehended me. I could have gotten free, but I didn’t. I didn’t need to. Hera was woken to talk to me. All according to plan.
“Why are you here?”
I looked up at her. “I’ve reconsidered your offer. I’ve seen the Superheros in action twice, and never been impressed with what I’ve seen. I want to be a Mary Sue, to be perfect.”
Hera’s face lit up in a smile. A malicious smile, one that didn’t make me feel better about what I was doing. But it was too late to back out now. “Wonderful. Fortunately, we still have a Sueifizer. If you will follow me.” She stood up, and walked out one of the doors. I followed, banishing my misgivings once again. I would do this. No matter what would happen after.The Sueifizer machine’s operators looked sleepy, which rather disturbed me. “Could you make sure they’re awake?”
Hera looked at me. “Certainly.” She walked over to them, took something out of her pocket, and touched it to all of them. They immediately sat up, so I assumed it ran a current through them. But that didn’t matter now. All that mattered was the Machine. I was put inside it, and outside the operators began working. I could hear them, quickly, efficiently, perfectly. As perfect as I would soon be.An eternity later, a noise began. It was a low hum, almost musical. I suddenly remembered my friends. Carrie… Psyche… Rainbowstar… All of them. But I knew in moments, they’d be my enemies. The humming grew louder and louder. Then, something else happened. A flash of light. It cut across my vision, blinding me. Then, I began to see again. I could see better now, although my sight had always been good. I climbed out, smiling. I didn’t stumble once. Why should I? I was perfect now. My thoughts again fell on my friends. I jolted awake. Nightmare. Hey, that’s funny, I remember more about my planet now. What… Oh no. I stayed on Earth too long. I had to get out of there. Now. There was no way I was going to let Them find me. That was why I was planet-hopping. And now I would have to hop again. I morphed back to my human form, which always carried a piece of paper and a pencil. I wrote: Gone to visit a friend on planet Monstrescaniea. Took Medea with me. Sorry. I swear I’m not a betrayer.
I morphed into another form, lept out of the PMR, woke up Medea, and together we escaped with my transporter. I didn’t want to put my human friends in danger. And they would definately be in danger if They found them. I would be able to return soon, though. As soon as Their attention was turned elseware.

Secret Name: AstronightI lay on her back, gazing up at the stars. This wasn’t so unusual, but the fact that I was lying on her back in space was. Without a suit, which made it more unusual. But this was my power. This was what I did. I sighed, wishing that I could be as powerful back on Earth as I was here. Sure, I could transport unlimited distances, but I couldn’t do it on earth, since I’d never learned much control over it. In space, you didn’t need to control it. It didn’t matter if you came out a few thousand kilometers away from where you were aiming. On Earth, a few thousand kilometers made all the difference. I could do some things on earth, like breathe without oxygen, withstand any amount of pressure, heat and coldness, and of course fly, but other than that? Even attempting to control the Earth’s gravity could result in loss of the moon, which would be bad. Controlling the gravity of the sun could result in the Earth floating away, alone in space. And even if I managed to move another star to be the Earth’s sun, all sorts of things could go wrong. So, I was stuck with more or less just flying. On Earth, that is. Not that I had been there in ages. I had spent the last three years traveling the stars, finding inhabited planets. Now, I was about to transport to one I’d heard of on the last planet. Monstrescaniea.
((I’m thinking that Aliena finds me, possibly while still in space, and brings me back to Earth when she goes. That way, I’m smoothly transitioned in without randomly convincing Aster to go to the Superhero’s base. That alright?))

I stepped onto Monstrescaniea’s natural-polymer ground. I walked (or rather bounced) over to a pool of liquid quaronium to admire my morph and make sure I had done it correctly. I had turned into a specimen of the local dominant species.I was eggshell green with scaly skin, and 14 vine-like appendages. I had fins all over, strategically placed to increase bounce capability. I had what looked like gill slits, but were really the openings of organs made to breath an atmosphere of nearly 90% silicon sulfide. And, since I had purposely morphed incorrectly, I had a purple halo. Purple. I shuddered. I despised the color. But, the halo would alert Them that I was a Zorp in morph. It wouldn’t take long for Them to hear about the purple-haloed Monstresr. I would stay with a friend I had made on a previous visit. His name was Mortoyar. I had just sent a message via comunicator when a darjk shape came hurtling through the sky. She landed in front of me, apparently expecting the ground to be as solid as it looked. It wasn’t and she shot several meters in the air. As soon as she landed I wrapped a vinelike extention around her, ready to crush the life out of her if she proved a foe. I could tell by her soul that she wasn’t a Zorp, but They had allies all over several multiverses.
“Who are you?” I demanded. “Are you one of Them?”

in May 14th, 2009 @ 12:07I flew low, over the jungle, listening to the cries of the tropical birds. I soared out, above the beach, with white sugar-sand, coming down low to run my fingers in the clear water as I flew past. Then, I shot up into the sky, climbing higher and higher, until the driftwood logs on the beach looked like matchsticks.
I flipped upside-down, going into a gentle diagonal dive, shutting my eyes just to feel the tropical sun beat down on my face. I smiled.
“You can’t fly.” A horrible voice cackled. “You can’t fly, Delta V!” I forced my eyes open as I dropped from the sky like a stone.
The sky was suddenly gray and the water below looked dark, with white-capped waves below.
I was rushing towards the sea now, it was so close, any second now I would hit the surface-
“I can fly! I CAN!” I shouted, opening my eyes with a start. I was in the MJL alternate base, just as I had been before I’d fallen asleep.
“Just a nightmare.” I muttered to myself, still breathing hard. The only light came from the sunlamp over my bed. I looked around. Everything was almost exactly like it had been before… except that Aliena and Acanae were gone.
I stood up to inspect their beds and found two notes, which I brought back to the sunlamp to read.

“My name is Faldrea.” I said. If she gave any sign of recognising the name, it would be all over for her.

Anacae:
I strode through the halls, intimidating enough that nobody asked me what I was doing. I wasn’t happy, since my powers should be fine now, and I should have complete control over them. I had control, all right, but they were weaker then they should be. But that was beside the point. I strode into the room where Jacob Black was guarding a remote.
“I need that.”
He looked at me nervously. “I- I was told to guard it…”
I raised my eyebrows. “One of the superior officers is missing, and I am being sent on a mission to find her. You dare to doubt me?”
“Oh! Okay then.” He handed me the report promptly. I smiled, took it, and pressed the button, thinking of Hera.I appeared in a forest, that remarkably resembled Lothlorien. The first thing I noticed was not only was there one girl like the one I had imagined, there were two. Oh no. Now I’d either have to make them believe I was on their side, and convince Hera I’d betrayed them, or I’d have to reveal that I had switched loyalties, something I’d been planning on hiding. Fortunately, I was granted a bit of thinking time, since they were both occupied, Hera in yelling, and Carrie in (guess what?) being yelled at. I hastily stowed the remote in my pocket, and stepped out from behind the tree. “Where am I? What happened? What’s going on?” I couldn’t act before. Being a Mary Sue was really shaping up to be great.

How can you NOT know? I wondered. She’s gotta be hiding something.
Suddenly, several things happened at once.
Number one: Anacae stepped out from behind a tree, acting confused.
“Where am I? What happened? What’s going on?”
I thought she looked a little odd, but I couldn’t think any more about it because
Number two: Two arrows arched over my head. Warning shots from the elves in the trees. They’d definitely noticed us.
“What’s going on?” someone with an odd accent mumbled sleepily.
“Intruders! Keep down,” said another.
“Who are they?” said someone else.
“Dunno, but they’re having an argument,” another voice said.
“Odd accents,” someone commented.
“Ours sound odd to the elves.”
I was just beginning to realize that this was much worse than I had suspected, when
Number three: Tasha appeared out of mid-air, still riding the unicorn.
We were so dead.

I growled at Hera, puppy-drooling all over her. At least that was something a little puppy could do. I wished that I was still Cerberus The Three-Headed dog, but if wishes were horses…
Arrows. Surprised, I jumped off Hera. What were these? And who was shooting at us?
But they were arrows nevertheless. I jumped up and tried to catch one in my mouth. I was acting puppy, no doubt. I chomped into the arrow, barely managing to not get hurt.
It was fun, I had to admit. I savoured the taste of arrow in my mouth and licked my lips. Since when did I have fun? This was a first. I began acting puppy-ishly excited. Then another arrow barely missed me and I ducked.
I still had the arrow in my mouth, but I had no idea what was happening. Whatever it was, I was not being a big help.
About retrieving arrows… hmm, that can turn out useful.
TYPHAEA:
I did not know where Hera was, or who she was. I thought she’d be the Greek Goddess… apparently, she wasn’t.
A puff of black fume followed me as I flew over the mountains.

Elves had surrounded us, bows drawn, and they looked none to happy to have us trespassing on their land.“You need to stop them.” I said. “They’ve kidnapped me and now they’re going to kill me. Please help me.” I faked a near-crying face while I watched Anacae from the corner of my eyes. She looked like a Mary Sue, judging by her eyes and posture. If she helped me, it’d be two on 1 3/4 (Carrie and invisible girl both counted as 1/2, the puppy, the unicorn and the person on it were each a quarter).
Carrie:
“Hey, no fair ! Come out here where we can see you !” I shouted in the direction of the people firing arrows at us. “Don’t believe her, she’s a liar !”

Whoa, I thought. Now that I knew he wasn’t actually going to hurt us, I looked into his face. Hey, for a vagabond, he was pretty cute! A hottie, actually. Darn that stupid Arwen.
We–oh, dang it, she’s a Mary Sue, can’t think of the plans, she can hear me, blah, blah, blah, definitely not thinking about what we have to do, uh-huh, wish I could block her out…
Huh? I thought.
Gah, I hate having someone listen in to my thoughts… blah, blah, blah, not thinking of anything.
Well, now that we’re here… said Hera’s mind-voice. But what it would have said after that, I never found out, because at that moment, there was a sword at my throat.

There were people surrounding us. Oddly enough, I wasn’t frightened. Wait, why should I be? Perfect people don’t get scared. The only people who do are- Everyone. Everyone except for us. Was this right? But it was too late now. Right now, we were working together to escape. Then, people started sounding through my thoughts. We were somehow talking to each other. I quickly blocked off the thoughts that I didn’t want shared, and thought franticly, I have a space-time remote! Should I use it? I knew that those interested in how I got it could easily read the false thought I had fabricated, implying that I’d captured it as part of a secret mission. I hoped someone got my message, and answered. Some of them looked rather occupied.

“Be silent, prisoner.” he ordered. Several elves emerged from the forest and encircled us. One of them nocked an arrow at Carries head. Her eyes were wide, an expression I know from myself; she was very afraid. But at least she’d stopped talking rubbish.

Maybe the Mary Sues kidnapped a few armies from the book, say the Rohrim, and that changed the course of the book? The Heros would have to right things, as a few hundred (or thousand, I’m to lazy to check) warriors vanishing here and there would tend to upset the plot-line…))

“Iris?” asked pretty much everyone.
“It’s my real name,” I explained. “Iris Astra. Catgirl is just my codename.” I’d forgotten that Psyche could read minds. I’d been named for the bouquet of irises that my father had picked for my mother, when she was in the hospital at my birth. Before the surgery. Katrina – no, Kitty now, had been named simply because my parents thought it was a nice name. Where is she? I wondered.KITTY:
I sensed someone reading Iris’s mind, probably one of those heroes. A mind reader would be good to have on our side, I thought.
Those of us that hadn’t been captured were sleeping in our headquarters. There was Edward Cullen, his face sparkling in the soft moonlight, and a few of his siblings. The Baudelaires, and their adopted (genius) baby sister Beatrice. A few Warriors cats, curled up by the fire. In all, there were maybe twenty of us. Enough for an attack?

There was a scraping sound above me, and I looked up to see one of the ceiling tiles moving aside. A rope dropped down, brushing my white pelt, and I scrambled out of the way. A human girl climbed down it. She was tall and strong-looking, with blue eyes and blond hair in a ponytail. She carried a red bucket.

in June 4th, 2009 @ 19:37A shower of Vashda Nerada* sprinkled my fur as the ceiling panel scraped further aside. Three more people followed the girl down the rope: a thin boy with glasses and a perfectly bald head, a grumpy-looking toddler in a red raincoat, and a boy so ordinary-looking there was nothing about him worth describing.
As they climbed down, the blond girl with the bucket answered Kai’s question: “I’m Kate Wetherall. Call me the Great Kate Weather Machine.”
The ordinary-looking boy was eying me suspiciously. “That cat is looking at us oddly,” he whispered to the bald boy, so quietly I doubted the others could hear it.
“It’s an Oriental Shorthair,” replied the bald boy in equally quiet tones. “They were imported from Siam to Britain in the 1800s, and are related to the Siamese breed.”
The toddler girl, who looked about the tail-pulling age, said loudly, “It looks like a spy to me.”
*Not actual Vashda Nerada. It’s my word for little specks of dust.

Oh look, a leaf! How pretty! It has veins! I thought maniacally.
Hopefully she can’t read Second or Third thoughts, said my Third Thoughts as I climbed the next tree.
The inhabitants of this one were definitely not elves.

I materialized with a slight buzz.
Frodo took the Ring off.
Obviously you can’t see other invisible people, my Third Thoughts said smugly.
Oh, shut up, I thought at them.
Everyone was staring at me.
