Oh and #2-I would argue that Em didn’t actually cuss, due to the presence of stars. Although when that particular word comes up i tend to use “bleep” instead. But that’s mostly because when i would use that word, i’m too mad to bother pressing shift and finding the little #8 (I’m good at typing words, but i really suck at numbers).

i just thought of an idea for a new thread, but would be a very serious discussion, so ill understand if some ppl dont think its a good idea. i noticed quite a few ppl are having personal issues, + turn to others here for advice-but they end up trying to discuss their problems on the random thread or somewhere else amongst all this other junk. maybe there could be a support thread where ppl could ask for/lend advice. im in another blog that has one of these (its somewhat of a prayer list, actually) + its worked out very well.

Too true, emogrl. My teachers always assign us massive, internal-bleeding-causing homework assignments. Then after delivering a crushing blow such as that, they calmly survey the rows of crumpled and hopeless students and ask, in a genuinely caring and sensitive voice, “How do you feel about that?” We mumble curses. They then firm up their tone a little bit and ask, “Why?”
Class usually ends around then, fortunately, or else there would be some chairs thrown and whiteboards shattered.

Hmm, well just a place to discuss the various forms of HTML, you know, CSS and Java and all that. Web design stuff. But if no one else requests/agrees it’s a bit pointless, I guess.
The newspaper idea would only work if you never mentioned your town’s name, because it would be quite easy to track you if you did so.

and the newspaper idea is NOT going to reveal any info. make a new name for your town or something or just don’t even put your town name down!!! for ex. just put like West PA or something like that. you could even just put the name of the state. or you can just put the name of the country if you live somewhere other than the USA. please keep it to state names and country names if we do it please.

Newspapers! We should have a muse newspaper! (Although kricket, i vote for ur idea too) We can have what’s new on the blog, interview the editors, staff changes, y’know, stuff like that. It could be like a monthly thing that comes free with the mag, we could write it on here and then somebody could put it into a newspaper format and send it to the publishers! Pleasy please? That would be awesome…
The newspaper idea, in its essense, reveals info. its entire point is to reveal info. And so, for instance, if I wrote “Today Ronald Reagon visited my school” you could go and see which schools Ronald Reagon had visited, and there you go. And besides, why would you want a thread to do that in the first place? It’s called Google News.
A crazy-deeds thread is a super idea. I would like a History thread and/or a Science one at some point. We are geeks, ska-bops, and nerds here after all.

What’s botball?
botball is a robotics competition where the robots are built and programmed by students. it’s pretty sweet. we build the robots out of legos, and the computer system changes every year. i think they have a website, if you want to check it out. most of the teams are school teams, but it is a pretty expensive club because you have to buy the legos and the computers every year.
i would also suggest a monty python thread… hint… hint…

i agree that we need a new color scheme. maybe black and red ‘cuz those are my fav (im not goth) and because the person who wrote that letter to you guyz that saw colors when she heard words said those are the colors she sees when she hears “muse”. some may not agree.

I’ve got a Harry Potter fanfic. I wrote it after B5 came out, so it was before B6 existed, and is about Harry’s sixth year at Hogwarts. I haven’t finished it yet, and have no idea when I will, but I’d like to request a new thread, or somewhere else to post it at, ’cause only my sister’s read it and I’d like to hear other people comments. It’s super long so far. Like over ten chapters, and over a hundred pages. It’s not that great, but I’d like somewhere to put it. Thanks!

Hey, Robert, I was wrong about the length. It’s only 7 and a little chapters so far plus a prologue. But as soon as I have time I’ll post the prologue and Chapter 1. I would just post the prologue but it’s really short.
