My school did talk like a pirate day today. And some of the teachers had a grat time talking like pirates and a few even dressed up as pirates. Me matey Lucifer an’ his matey God had the wonderfulest time talking like pirates. The names are an old joke. i beg, don’t ask.
More tommorow, I was suppoesed to be in bed a looong time ago.

I said ahoy to a few ppl today…but that’s it. A lot of ppl in chorale were pretty into it, though – So our director let us do some of the voice warm-ups w/ a pirate accent! Um…Yarrrrr for choir!

Alot of people in my school already knew about it. One kid said that he found out about it on the internet. Did he mean HERE, or some other website? I don’t know.

dress codes are lame. never having gone to an american school, with a dress code, I can only assume that the reasons are either:
A) School administration has an inferiority complex and needs to give senseless orders (or they might just be morons- usually the case)
B) There actually are a lot of cretinous morons who would wear swastikas and stuff in the states so they actually NEED a dress code.

My social studies teacher is a pie-rate fanatic. For talk like a pirate day, she dressed up in a full red coat, tricorner hat, the works. She taught us to talk with Pirattitude, and made us do so for the remainder of class.

The day after, my English teacher dressed up like a pirate. My social studies teacher(a lot of teachers I know have breaks during my English class)came in and she(the English teacher)said that a different English teacher had heard that it had been National Pirate Day. Of course, I corrected her. My social studies teacher said that he had been scared by me wishing him a happy Talk Like A Pirate Day.:mrgreen:
