For a few minutes I thought this said, “Happy birthday, Jim Crow!”. I was, needless to say, confused.
SECOND COMMENT!!!!!!
Who’s Jim Crow?
A symbolic figure representing racism in the United States.
Alice knows who John Crowley is.
Happy Birthday John Crowley! (I hope it doesn’t seem weird to you that some random muser who you probably don’t know just yelled “Happy Birthday!” to you.)
I missed it, darn! Happy belated birthday, John Crowley!
I should reread Little, Big in honor of this occasion that was yesterday.
OHHH! That is SO weird because I just had to do something about him, I didn’t even realize! *falls over backwards from weirdness*
Alice, what’s Little, Big and as it good?
6- Little, Big is an absolutely amazing book. It’s really hard to explain; it’s just got so many layers and sometimes I have to read sections like three or four times before I quite understand, but it’s a wonderful book. I might not recommend it until you’re a little older, though, it’s kind of grown-up. I tried to read it when I was thirteen and couldn’t even get more than a few chapters in.
I’ve read Little, Big! I read it last year, on Alice’s recommendation.
