My moon-pie is made of a strange substance that glows orange in the dark…
On the civilized side of it (the only explored side), it has one Great Maria which looks like a hot-pink bunny. Its name is Maria of the Flours. It is renowned for its breath-taking flowers made of… FLOUR!! A prime ingredient in Gloastaia’s distinctive pies, these flowers are perennial, so you should stock up now!!
Who would like some and how many? One flour per pie.
Shadowkat, if you have ANY objections tell me and this will be deleted, erased, effaced, and technically non-existent.

PPP has been discovered to have valuble deposits of Apple Goop (element symbol Ao) beneath a narrow crust of earth on the Southern Continent. Phoenix has taken posession of the Southern Continent and mined into the crust. There is now a mining city, Apple Village, built entirely underground. As the workers hollow out more and more of the energy-generating Ao to supply the energy of PPP, the city gets bigger. After less than a year, it has a population of 3000 and continues to grow. Mining deeper, liquid geysers of Ao were struck. This seemingly infinite power supply is being harnessed, and a thriving tourist industry now comes to see the Apple Goop Springs, as they are now called. However, scientists are worried that this power supply is finite rather than infinite, and are now anelyzing the Ao and trying to produce a synthetic copy. For now, however, Apple Village thrives and PPP has a source of reliable, natural, environmentally safe power.

There has been a new animal discovered in Nyllix!! It is called an Iz, and looks suspiciously like the toy that shares it’s name. It is an amphibian, usually green with an orange stomach and on antenna with an orange tip. When they die, they decompose into a carcass which gummy worms are known to breed in.

Phoenix, can you take a moon instead? We only had twenty countries, and, to stick to the plan, that’s all I’d like for there to be. You can still do whatever you want to/on it.

As Shadowkat’s official(I think) spokesperson, lets wait for her say so before we go pwning any moons, Ok? Not to crush the fun, but since she has to verify all new countries(and possibly moons) you are not officially recognized yet. However, we always welcome newcomers to the PPP. BTW, Can apple goop possibly be used to flavor sour apple candy? Because while I have yet to find an apple flavored candy that actually tastes like apples, it’s my favorite flavor. Environmentally safe energy sources and food flavoring are always huge commodities on the PPP, especially since we have a very strong environmental preservation movement.

Nyllix has launched the first PPP satellite!! It’s called the Strawberry Sojourner, and it’s point is to map out the surface of the PPP, scout out our neighbors, and take samples of stardust to put in pies.

FOR AN OFFICIAL YSALLIAN ANNOUNCEMENT! (Despite all the umlauts and such in our name, we don’t mind taking them out for urgent announcements.)
After a long time of searching, we have found deep under the crust…. COOL LAVA!!!(or magma, if you want to get scientific) Finally, I can taste lava without killing myself. (It has been my dream ever since our science teacher showed us a comic saying,”Hmmmm…. I wonder what it tastes like” by a stream of lava)
Along with this, we have finely skilled craftsmen who create exquisite figurines of glass, porcelain, and Lystar, (a material particular to Ysallia) and have perfected them so that they will never break, even if they are the thinnest strand, but will also not hurt anyone. We also have craftsmen for gems such as octarine diamonds (that look octarine to EVERYONE–unless they are evil. (Can be used for convicting evil people on Earth if we want to send them there. Thanks Ebeth, now I love octarine!) clear diamonds (for those who want to be normal) yellow sapphires, peridots, and a large number of fine jewels. These craftsmen use the finest metals, finer than gold (These metals are Fli, Sykand, and Xyllia–and they glow golden, silver, and light–in that order. If you have never seen a metal glow light, you must see one sometime, it is magical.) to create beautiful jewelery and also amazing machines that look like masterpieces but do complicated work. My favorite would have to be their computers.
We also have several fine delicacies, which are:
FRUITS-
Asyla, a beautiful fruit that tastes indescribable.
Ulalii, which tastes like your favorite food, which could be one you have never tasted before.
Ccyl, which tastes of the air after it rains. With a splash of rainbow.
VEGETABLES-
SSalar, which tastes fresh and crisp, even if it is wilted.
KDyno, which tastes like your favorite vegetable. KDyno makes a wonderful appetizer, especially with cheese.
DESSERTS-
Day Crystals taste as we in Ysallia think the sun should taste, if we lived under the sun and not the moon. The moon we live under is Xyna, and NOBODY is allowed to visit that moon. It is very important. The moon brings us light (One person visited it once, and found out that it not only reflects light from our sun, but it glows, too, so that we are never in darkness.) and if anyone lived on it, it would disintegrate into nothing. (this was proved by the same person who went to Xyna, because you can still see a little black dot on the moon where he trekked in the time of the new moon.)
Fluff does not have a very magical name, but tastes like…. DELICIOUS SUGARY FLUFF!! And is DEEELICIOUS!
Kaly which is named after Kaly, the person who made it, is a delicious dessert made out of Fluff, little sugar tortilla things, and choklit. We are running out of choklit though, so we need someone willing to import choklit to us. Of the milk kind, please.
WE do have some other things, but those are the ones I shall name right now.
And to everyone else: There can only be up to five moons, or else it will get rather confusing. Three moons would be perfect. Of course, this is considering only IF you are allowed to keep your moons.

Although Apple Village is situated entirely underground, the ground cover on the surface is very rich and populated by myriads of exotic animals. Disturbing the wildlife is illegal, but skyways have been constructed (running on Apple Goop power, of course) to allow natives and visitors from PPP-Side to explore the natural environment without disturbing it.

I have construced a base used to mine flour out of the core of my moon, Flourilia. Issabella, you can have these moon rocks for that flour. When baked into pies, they become antigravity pies.

On Gloastaia, we have the following. I have to do my homework so I am only mentioning one thing.
Artists who use the pigments hidden in our mantle in the form of rock (There are caves and tunnels, stalactites and stalagmites under our ENTIRE moon, a labyrinth of glittering color. These are a major tourist attraction, if anyone would like to visit. Cost: a little bit of your country’s specialty. If you cannot afford it, that is OK. However, you will only see the violet, scarlet, chartreuse, and magenta grottos. That means you will miss the indigo, our best one. Anyone who comes gets a free floorplan of the ENTIRE subsystem.)
Zyka- I would like a massive order of your finest foods ASAP (as soon as possible). I am hosting a grand banquet on the 14th in honor of my birthday. Anyone who would like to come can. It will be happening in the indigo grotto’s natural balcony. From there there is a VERY secret passage leading to the sky, so we have starlight AND the indigo room to look at. There will be no music besides the chchchaas rubbing their wings together. (These are very small mammals that make a chchchchchch sound with their wings. A relative to crickets and cicadas.)

Our chefs are at work preparing already! (All the food will be put into a time-stopping device to keep it perfectly fresh and perfect until the moment it is ready to be eaten. This is especially helpful with hot foods.) Would you also like some of our Moonlight Rice? It is a rice grown by the light of the moon, and the light is said to give it a particular flavor, especially when cooked with our special herbs)
And the Xyllia figurines are being made. Would you like them in flower shapes (Lotus, of course, unless you prefer something else), figurines of yourself (In full splendor!), or ones of the stars, encased in Ldyna (A glass-like substance that is stronger than diamonds)? If you would like all of them, or even something entirely different, we will be very willing to create them, I will work on some myself.

I have discovered a new type of fruit in my garden, very strange, I have not ever seen anything like it. It is red and tannish, with cone shaped spikes and 2 inches in length and height. EVERYONE: Ok, since the party’s over at Gloastaia, I’m taking it to the Snow Caps, in the Cocoa Cavern on the side of Mount Syrupus, the biggest mountain on the Islands. Just party in general, no rules except for one: if you want to explore the caves, please take at least one Glow Pop, which will be available at the table by the Chocolate Syrup Stream. Feel free to take bites out of the walls, but use your own judgement as to where you want to take these bites. We don’t want a cave-in. Other than that, have fun, and be sure to visit the Snow Caps’ landmark, the Creamy Banana Falls. To get there, when you get to the cave, don’t go in, but take a left, head down the path about a hundred feet, and make a right. You can’t miss it.
Information on Glow Pops: Glow Pops are made from a substance found at the top of Mount Cocaoatu. This substance glows for 24 hours after it is harvested, but it is edible even after it stops glowing. Most who have tried it generally compare it’s taste to that of Lemon Meringue Pie, with a dash of Choclate Banana spice. It is considered a delicacy in the Snow Caps, and can only be harvested by trained professionals. When this substance is wrapped around a chocolate stick, it becomes a Glow Pop.

We have a city in Nyllix called Myrrola, and in Myrrola, there is a community of writers with the Silvertounge power. They take books about any supplies needed, and read them out of the book. Sadly, their powers are limited, and they can only read one item out every two weeks. Their houses are protected by intense robotic guard systems, so don’t try to steal them. They wouldn’t like it, as they get paid heavily in Nyllix-sapphires, which are refined seawater. Phoenix- we can read out some cinnamon for……. forty crates of algae-syrup.

this will not be an economical disadvantage, Phoenix, because only those who WANT to contribute will. The soil there is also extremely fertile (or so I’ve heard) so one seed will create many, many plants. Gloastaians can do any gardening or designing or anything else needed. That is only if no one else can do it on that particular day. Maybe we could have a fountain made of Xyllia with healing water flowing in it? (hopeful face please, GAPAs) Gloastaia will provide the water. It will recycle in the fountain so not much water is needed. It’s purpose is that if little children or animals (or grown-ups) fall and get a bad scrape on their knee or something like that they can heal themselves. Any illness cannot be cured by the fountain: they’ll have to trade with Gloastaia.
Shadowkat (105)- yes, the lake is warm. however, you had best wear a wetsuit because if you go down eight feet or deeper it starts to get colder. we provide diving equipment, if you’d like some. almost EVERYTHING seems to be alive down there, so it’s awesome to dive and experience. Don’t worry. nothing bites or threatens in any way in this particular lake.

While Shadowkat was dancing on the table, I happened to slip something under the table, and stuck it on the underside of the table.
You will find under the table:
An Octarine gem ring set in Xyllia-but with a twist, this one was created especially for the wearer, and will change its shape to your wishes, so if you want a simple ring, then you will be wearing a simple band with a small octarine gem, if you want a ring like a vine that has little octarine gem flowers, you will be wearing that. But you have to think this consciously while touching the ring, and address it, in your mind, as follows: “Please, little ring, look how I wish” and it will do exactly that.
Crafted by one of the less fine art crafters in our land–me, to be exact.
But that is not the only thing!
I also put in a special pouch of Moon-grass seeds, they were found on Xyna when one of our own kind traveled there. (His name was Brilli, and was one of the more scientific of us, very intelligent, though) It has never grown on Ysallia, and I think it might grow on your land–But remember to be careful in keeping it in one greenhouse or other secluded place, as I don’t know if it would be invasive or not. (Once a year, a few strands of Moon-grass float down from Xyna, silvery-green, and with light pink flowers on them, they glow with a moon-like sheen)
And also, there is a marble made of Ldyna that, when asked to, creates a stream of the finest, purest water, crystalline and fresh, (the words for this is, “Pure, bright, clear” and to stop it, are “clear, bright, pure”) and if you want some cool lava, then if you say, “From the Dragon’s Mouth” then it will glow bright red, warm up, and pour a small stream of cool lava, of course slightly warm, and by rubbing it clockwise in your hands, you can make it a bit warmer, and counterclockwise will make it cooler, (Warmer it is, the bigger the Ldyna marble gets) and is great for cold nights.
All this comes in a bag that resizes to whatever is put in it.
Sorry that my gift was so simple, (the Sykand necklace with the Trysla [our kind of pink jewel] gem pendant. But, I wanted to give you this gift, too, but not show it off in front of others.

131) Very possibly a good one would be one dedicated to Gloastatia, (Hope it is spelled right, I can’t really think right now, tired) , with a splash of Xyllia coming up from the dome-like (Upside down, of course) bowl of the fountain, which is Ldyna accented with sparkling stars of Xyllia, and at the top of the splash of Xyllia (which looks like a swirl of water going upwards and cascading down slightly) is a replica of Gloastatia, and from there, three Sykand shooting stars going downwards, seemingly hanging in midair, (Not attached to anything) and the water pouring down from their, with, at the bottom of one of the stars, also hanging weightlessly in the air (but unmovable) is a little teeny Urania holding an umbrella, with Feather and Emma (Or whatever her name is-forgot at the moment, I really AM dead tired) underneath, and Kokopelli on a giant pie with several other pies around him. A little version of the cover of the book. But 3-D.
All this will be floating in the air, and little children would love to play under it, and it wouldn’t break either. Or get dirty, for that matter. And the healing water would never run out, no matter how much anyone used. It would only stop if the creator of the fountain un-made it.

I pwn the Northwestern Crust and the chocolate swamp, where I live happily as a hermit with my Donut orchard, chocolate swamp, pie bakery, Avenger toad as my pallie, and some strawberry plants that are nicely situated next to the chocolate. I have also recently discovered a vein of Granola and a fresh yogurt spring, so when I’m lonely for earth, I can chomp on granola, yogurt and strawberries.

Nyllix has a Holomarket, where you go inside a building and check out one of 3 consoles- Food, Entertainment, and Other. Then you drop a coin into the console, and pull out a pair of VR goggles and gloves, which you put on and are immediatly in a large, silvery spacey mall, where you can see and interact with other (real) people wearing their own goggles. Since you have the gloves, you can pick up things and buy them. It took our leading team of VR experts a year to develop this system. Speaking of years, how long is a day on PPP? A year?

186- Yes, the slugs are very big. I made a room for them, but it might have to be resized. However, my museum is not in danger. In a slug’s eyes, everything is labeled “food” or “not food.” The Natural Museum of Pie (the museum’s official name, it is nicknamed The Pie) is labeled not food.

Ooh, punkins! I would like some, 110 to be exact. I shall give you some homegrown Swedish Fish, Rock-Candy from our mines, or Swamp Monster’s saliva (it’s marshmallow fluff). Pick one, and fast! We in Nyllix need those punkins to put our Spollyna candles in. They are made of bad Rock-Candy, which means Rock-Candy that has blemishes or fell in the mud. We then line the punkin-candles along the treasure-hunting beach.

Ok, time to detail halloween celebration in Ataraxia.
Giant celebration. Everyone must participate. If you are found to be home but aren’t handing out candy you could face up to 1 year in jail. (this rarely happens) Those who aren’t home must leave bowl of candy outside door. A free Punkin from the Ataraxian government is given to every citizen, and the palace and all public places are decorated lavishly. In addition, any person found egging or tp’ing houses shall be fined the cost of clean up and made to work on a squad that cleans up the mess made on halloween. Halloween trick-or-treat officially starts at 5:00 and ends at 11:00, with many special activities held at zoo’s and such, including a haunted mine tour in the GCM.

Astaii are the Gloastaian currency. The singular is asta, the plural astaii. I am not willing to pay more astaii because I have to rethink Gloastaia’s economic system. We have given out too much for free, and now are a poor moon. There is a law limiting almost everything, and no Gloastaian is even allowed to have ONE FLOUR because we have to reserve those for trading. We have also raised the tourist prices to The Natural Museum of Pie (nicknamed The Pie, you must remember), the Lake, the Library, and the Catacombs.
Prices:
The Natural Museum of Pie- Ages 0-1, free. Ages 2-4, two astaii. Ages 5-7, five astaii. Ages 8-11, seven astaii. Ages 12-18, eight astaii. Ages 19-40, fourteen astaii. Ages 40-60, sixteen astaii. Ages 60 and up, seventeen astaii.
The Lake- To swim the price is five astaii for 0-10 and ten astaii for 11 and up. To rent diving equipment (oxygen tank, goggles, flippers, etc.) twenty astaii. To buy a swimsuit, two astaii.
The Library- Rules: you must be close to silent when there. The books are very sensitive to sound. Remember what happened last time, Shadowkat? You must be five or older to enter. Admission prices: Ages 5-15, eight astaii. Ages 16 or older, ten astaii. To check out books you must have a library card, which will let you take out all the books you want. The library card is for all ages, and the price is five astaii. Just remember that the books are sound-sensitive. If you don’t have a quiet place to read you can just check them out and read them in the library. We have a sizeable reading room. The Catacombs- Take a ‘Tour of the UnderWorld’ for seven astaii, all ages. A ‘TrueBlue’ visit (named because it visits the most spectacular room discovered so far, The Indigo Cavern) encompasses the Tour of the UnderWorld plus more than eleven other caves, is for all ages and costs ten astaii.

Our museum is starting to renovate so that it can expand and hold more exhibits which will come later. Like the four new species recently discovered in Gloastaia…
we do have some Gloastaian coins on display, though. Well, what earthlings would call coins. They are actually small chunks of different colored crystal. The crystal is broken off from our catacombs. It is one of our natural resources. But since we are big on protecting nature, we do not drill in our catacombs. Only a small amount of rock crystal is used for each coin, and no one would ever guess that crystal has been taken from our grottos. The process of collecting the material is this way:
first find the cave the color that you want the coin to be (this is a difficult job if you have no map)
in this cave there must be stalactites and stalagmites (there are only two discovered caves without them, used as auditoriums)
the stala(c or g)mites are colored like the cave
these stala(c or g)mites produce a minerally and completely natural liquid, one drop per day
you gather up the drop
it is solidified and expanded by our moneymakers by a process too complicated to explain
The colors look beautious together, and we distinguish whether it is a quip, gloe, asta, or kros by the color. Here is a color code (see post 261 for more on Gloastaian money):
A quip- emerald green
A gloe- it glows like gloastaia. the light is multi-colored, like a soap bubble.
An asta- scarlet
A kros- indigo (the rarest color, very special. this is also the rarest coin. On Gloastaia there are only 1001 of these as of date. Of course, these are being made as we speak. these actually take two drops, therefore two days to make.)
all the forms of currency are on sale as souvenirs in any store in Gloastaia. however, only the grottos have genuine krose as souvenirs. The other have synthesized krose. you can tell by the core in the center of synthesized krose, which doesn’t exist in real krose.
the prices of the currency forms in souvenir shops are typically around three times the currency value.

If you become a citizen of Gloastaia, First and Biggest Moon, you are also elegible to run for Ambassador. Every six months we will reelect an Ambassador. An ambassador goes to other countries and negotiates. However, the ambassador is under my control and if s/he displeases me they can be kicked out of office. The first ambassador will be a trial run to see if Gloastaia wants an ambassador. Because of this the first ambassador’s ambassadorship will only be three months. To run you must write a little about why you think you’d be a good ambassador (optional: create a campaign advertisement/slogan) and post it on this thread. You have one week to write and post your campaign speeches/why you’d be a good ambassador (i.e. until November 16th). November 17-25th are voting days. By 3:30 on the 25th all votes MUST be cast. On the 26th the winner will be anounced.
Rules:
-You must be a Gloastaian citizen to run.
-You must be a Gloastaian citizen to vote.
-You can only vote once.
-You cannot vote for yourself.
-You do not have to vote if you are not running.
-If you are running you must vote (this rule is because if there are no Glostaian citizens not running then no one would have voted because candidates cannot vote for themselves and they would not want to give other candidates a vote)
-You cannot make a big fuss if you lose, you must pie the winner with a Congragulation Pie, and you can always run next time.
-An ambassador can be reelected once.
-If you copy someone else’s campaign speech/commercial you are automatically disqualified.
-You can resign after being ambassador for one month.
