We should do the oceans as well. I read recently that in 50 years, it’s preidicted that there won’t be fish left in the ocean. As in, none. Hmm, I’m as much for saving animals as the next person, but it is a little bit disgusting how much value people put on animals, when they should be working to solve poverty right in their own cities.
I am not saying that we should stop all work on protecting animals (in fact, I quite agree that endangered species need to be saved), but it was quite disturbing to see how many groups rushed down to New Orleans after the hurricane to look after the stray animals, while people still lived in their flooded houses with out clean water or power.

I live by the Rouge River, and it is FILTHY, but it would not be dirty if people would stop littering in it, and all over the ground for that matter. Next time that you are tempted to drop trash on the ground, DO NOT,and you are helping our enviroment and landscape.

Well, I would like to save the redpandas but I agree about the rainforest! We need to save that to not only save millions of animals, but our global warming problem. Ha! Kill 3 birds with one stone!
We could try making people use the slash and burn method when they farm in the rainforest! They could plant their crops and when the season is over they could burn the ground to bring the nutrients back into the soil. Does that sound good?
