In recent years, MuseBlog has celebrated April Fools’ Day by letting itself be commandeered by hot-pink bunnies, the Walt Disney Company, or grim schoolmasters.
Those hostile takeovers brought normal blog business to a halt, to the chagrin of many dedicated MBers. So this year we’re doing something different. We’re leaving all the threads open and dedicating the blog to a day of total silliness, of any type you choose. The April Random Thread is postponed for a day in favor of this Outrageous Tomfoolery thread.
We’ve also added a few tools to help you get into the spirit:
- A translation menu that can translate posts into dozens of other languages.
- An “upsidedown” command that can turn your text, ʍouʞ noʎ 'ʃʃǝʍ.
- Hints of Pig Latin here and there (we see more of it than you do).
These new superpowers will last for one day only. When the Administrators sign off for the night, everything will be back to what passes for normal around here.

I’m afraid this April Fool’s Day was rather boring for myself. The only real prank I made was when my friend and I snuck into our latin teacher’s classroom yesterday and stuck up “captured by the squirrels” posters on the walls and wrote random messages on her board. It wasn’t that funny, but we knew our teacher would get a kick out of it, and she did. (And no one has figured out that we did it yet either, despite our distinct handwriting on the board)
We also had a field trip today to an art museum, which was rather boring seeing as I was in a group with a bunch of morons who only wanted to come on the trip to get out of school…but still.

We had Fin Lit sixth period, and when we got to our classroom there was no teacher, just a message on the board saying what work we should do and Happy Easter Year 9 Line _ from the Easter bunny *insert weird-looking bunny picture here*. I wanted to “join” and RPG and I have a question. Do I just go ahead and start explaining my character and post or…?
Well, generally you should ask the people already on the RPG if it’s all right to introduce a new character. Then, if they say yes (which they most likely would do) you should write something about your character, such as his/her name, age, personality, background etc. and perhaps how he/she fits in to the story (e.g. relation to one of the existing characters, etc.). After that you can start posting, I guess.

I played a trick on my mom….sort of. I got my haircut for Locks of Love at school today, and even though I’ve know for a while, I haven’t told my mom. April fools day pranks: I wasn’t in school, so I was lacking victims. I wanted to make a fish with “don’t tell me” to stick on someone’s back but then gave up.
