MuseBlog’s irrepressible podcasters, Purple Panda and Taiwan Hippo Phan, have done it again. The February edition of MuseCast includes segments about Antarctica (sort of), a choral invocation of the Muses, wungs, and Antarctica again (sort of).
You can find it by browsing in the “kids” section of iTunes, or listen to it on the blog by clicking here.
gasp!
FIRST POST
FINALLY
its still loading….
…..
… .
oh it wasnt 1st post
very very and thrice very good thp and purple panda
Thanks!
It was really fun to make.
The Wung script is really funny! THP wrote it.
And don’t forget Violetfire! She’s in it too!
BUT I’M NOT WAAAAAAAAAAH!!! It’s okay tho. I’m in ep. 3.
I’ll be sure to give it a listen later.
Maybe I’ll be on episode four. xD
Fab. I enjoyed the whole thing but the Wung report takes the cake. How can we keep the common Wung common? Inquiring minds need to know!
i loved it!
iTunes automatically downloaded it. I didn’t know iTunes could do that. I’m sure it’s cool and I will listen to it soon but when I’m listening to things I can’t do other stuff very well, like MuseBlog.
What’s the description translate to? Babelfish doesn’t do Latin. It was funny. I liked it.
Ah… This wasn’t as great as the last one. The music and sound affects where fantastic though. *Sigh*
Sorry the wungs took basically the entire time. We had a lot more stuff on the musecast at first, but then we cut it down and put the extra stuff on #3, so they would be shorter. The music takes a long time to load on some people’s computer’s, so we wanted to keep it short.
We take ideas!
It was totally awesome!!!!
I actually think it was better than the last one
Robert, I sent you an email with a demo on it. Did it successfully maneuver it’s way through the vast dangers ov cyberspace?
Not yet. Did you send it to gapa at musefanpage.com? That’s a reliable address.
D’oh, I sent it to webmaster@musefanpage.com. Took a while to attach the song, too.
That one should work, too. We just don’t check it as often, because “webmaster” addresses attract a lot of spam. I’ll have a look later.
Well, I just sent it to the other one as well, so, whenever you’re ready…
Very funny. xD
Also, didn’t Muse have an article about that woman who went swimming in Antarctica really recently?
19- Yeah. First thing that came to me.
Wonderful, guys!!
I canNOT find it on iTunes and I am getting *mad*. I looked for it under Kids and Family, but as far as I can tell, it is not there.
Help.
20 ~ You have to search for MuseCasts for some reason.
19 – Yes, I forgot about that. In the back of my mind, I think I read something about Shakleton, but I’m not sure.
I would like to ask you all a favor. We want to put interesting pieces of information in future podcasts, but not as short as factoids, more like short articles. What kinds of things are you interested in? We could just do some Ivars Peterson-type stuff, and experiment, research, things like that, but if you have broad (or not-so-broad) topics that you would like some audiarticles about, we can do our best to find something about them.
It was great! I really like it!!
Are you hiring?
if so, i have no resume, so you’ll just have to trust your instinct!
24 – If you have something to say in MuseCast, just record it into your computer and send it to the GAPAs at gapa@musefanpage.com . We’d love to put it in an upcoming MuseCast.
oh! that’s cool! do you record on garage band or am i totally out of it?
Whoo! Partay! I’m loving the little song at the beginning. I’ve just started podcasting – literally, earlier today – and it’s loads of fun. Mine’s called ‘Phoebe’s Talk Show of Randomness.’ Teehee.
We recorded it on Garage Band in the Podcasting program part of it.
YAYAYAYAY! I loved the Wung report. Most informative.
Could you guys do a piece on Darwin? Seeing as it’s his birthday coming up? Actually, can I do a piece on Darwin and then send it in? I’m reading the Origin of Species for bio. Hmm. I hope I can figure out something to say… I’ll work on this….how long can it be?
There’s really no length limit. People have posted whole novels on the blog. A report on Darwin would be highly appropriate for his birthday.
Argh! It keeps sipping at this one spot, and won’t work……I’m going to try again.
IT STILL WON’T WOOORRRRRKKKK!!!!!!!
Oops…that first post was supposed to be *skipping*…not “sipping”.
Huzzah! Maybe I could do it on the evolution of Wungs, just to relate it to Muse…hmm…*plans* Yes. Tee-hee, this is going to be a fun weekend. I’ve been busy with a quazzi-social life so far this year, but I’m going to relish turning off my cell phone and just being a happy researching geek now. *sighs of contentedness*
Skipper, you can just do it on Darwin. It would be amazingly froody if you did it on the evolution of Wungs, but that’s not really about him. We wanted to do something about just random interesting things, not just Muse-related things.
iTunes doesn’t work for downloading things for me for some reason… i think I need an account. *clicks clicking here*
I CANT FIND IT ON ITUNES WAHHHHHHHHHHHHHH
by the way how do you get on a muse cast?
Sorry about the email, GAPAs – I really don’t want the people at Duquesne knowing what my email address is.
Kt the gr8 – If you have a microphone on your computer, just record something onto it and send it to the GAPAs, who will get it to us. We’d love to put it onto an upcoming MuseCast.
GAPAs, same here – I’m at Duquesne for music lessons and such and I don’t want my email address to be saved here.
kt the gr8 – on iTunes, it’s called “Musecasts.”
ok thanks a TON!!
yall are the coolie cooliest
i was on the wung cast as roberta. thats not my real voice, by the way. it was kind of a sub-british-adult voice.
*TARTE TATIN*
