whats with pink bunnies
Welcome!
Hot pink bunnies are the most dangerous, malevolent and terrifying force in the universe. And they’re our enemies.
*pies*
Welcome 10peace!

Um, everyone hates them…for some reason…ask someone else. WELCOME, THOUGH!

Hi everyone! I’m Emma, starr’s wonderful (
) older sister of 16 years. She has pretty much filled me in on everything, but I figured I’ll write something here first.
I’ve posted on MuseBlog before once, but I was away for awhile and busy with other things for most of the school year before this but had been meaning to get on here every once in awhile, since I’m a long time Muse fan. (Even before starr, yes!) Obviously I didn’t really have the time so that never really happened…but I’m here now, and I’ll be back at home with (More) computer access and (More) free time, so hopefully I’ll be able to spend some more time on MuseBlog.
And, Muse was one of the ways I became more fluent in English, so I owe a lot to it. I’ve lived in the U.S. since I was 6, and first got the subscription when I was 10, so that was a good 4 years since I’d been speaking English (As opposed to Chinese) but it still helped me a lot. Anyways…I guess that’s all I have to say! *readies self for pies*
Hi, Emma! Welcome (back) to Museblog! You can call me LBK, or The Dimunitive Feline One, whichever works. Here are the pies, as is customary:
16 pies for 16 years of Emma-ness!
Welcome!

Welcome!

So you are Starr’s sister! I’m her blog sibling
You can call me SWAT.
Hurm, this will be confusing. I’ll think of Emma the Duck whenever I see a post of yours. Welcome anyway, though.
Would it be easier if I used Em instead?
Believe it or not, we had a long-time blogger who called herself “Em.” We haven’t seen her in awhile, but she has been known to pop up now and then. Is there something you could add to the name before “Em” or “Emma”?
Amme? Meam?
*headdesk*
When I saw that in the Recent Comments bar I thought it said “Mean”. *headdesk*
I fail.
Hmm….*thinks* How about Em&Em? (Or would that be too confusing?) It’s another nickname of mine.
I’m so bad, I didn’t even welcome my own sister.
Well, here ya go:
And by the way, Em&Em is cute, if you want my opinion. (Not likely but possible.)
Welcome, Emma!

Welcome! Always good to see more high schoolers here. *pies* So you’d be a junior then?
Anyways, I’m speller, a 15-year-old sophomore and geek boarding school. I adore math and Buffy the Vampire Slayer. So that’s me.
Yep, junior. (Starr’s right here…she says that there are plenty of other high schoolers on the site. What’s the general age range anyway, though? I know I’m probably on the older end of the spectrum for Muse readers, no?)
I dunno… there are a few college people here.
You’re a bit on the older side. 13 seems to be the average age around here… Still, we have everything from 9 and 10-year-olds to college students (and the GAPAs of course).
I’m not sure how old are youngest is–10, maybe? But I’d say your probably about in the middle of the age range. Of course, since there’s more younger people than there are older, your probably still older than many of the ‘bloggers.
*shrug* I was your age when I joined the ‘blog many long years ago.
I’m one of those college students that Enc and speller mentioned, and one of the older (although not the oldest) ‘blogger at 20 years.
*our. Our youngest.
who’s the ten year old?
She posted a few times as Catkopelli.
well, I am 9, on the young side. (Save your emoticons)
I’m another high school sophomore. If you depict the age range of the blog as a scale, like so:
| | | | | | | | | |
You would probably be about at the dash mark third from the right. Older, but not oldest.
Welcome!

I’m a high school senior, and therefore also on the ‘older’ end. I’d say that I still feel young inside, but in actuality I feel ancient. Little old lady, coming through.
Hi, Emma!

Good to see another sibling pair… there’s me and Pseudo, Beetles and Ambystoma Maculatum ( or however it’s spelled ) and now you and starr. Cool.
And THF and Purple Panda, but I haven’t seen them around in a long time.
Taiwan Hippo Fan? They’re related??
Unless I’m terribly mistaken, yes.
Welcome!
I’m 14 and in ninth grade (I’m Australian) and I love maths (but not as much as speller). And I love Spock and the bunnies.
Be worried.
Hi, Emma/Em! Hope you get your name straitened out!

(For the record, I wasn’t around for either Emma the Duck or Em, so I don’t really mind either of your names.)
I’m Errata, you can call me Errata.
Welcome 10Peace and Emma!
Hey, 10Peace! Emma, too!
Ok. :idea:s are call hot-pink bunnies, or HPBs for short. They came into use during The Greate Cat and Dog Warres of the Moste Recent Yeares.
The idea (which, coincidentally is used to MAKE an HPB) was that, whenever someone was foolish enough to mention which one they thought was better, the GAPAs or magazine editors (are they the same? who knows?) would replace the offending phrase with a line of less offensive HPBs. Everyone hates the HPBs, and we generally avoid them as their bite morphs you into one of them. Thankfully, I have been working on a interesting little computerized defense system – linked to a very big syringe gun. When the HPB or any unrecognized contact appears on the scope…..BLAT! SMACK! The HPB is injected with a large dose of benzodiazepine, inducing a coma until the catatonic body is taken into our labs to be analyzed, where the are woken up with epinephrine and orange juice. It’s all humane, don’t worry.
Yeah, I like
.
2.4.1- It would, yes. Thanks. I’m a junior too, to give you another indicator of average age here.
I’m 40+. But still a nubby. Only posted a few times. But I like puns. And fireh rolls ‘er eyes at me. When I punnify….
WHAT. IS. A. NUBBY. ?!?!?
Someone who has not been here very long.
HI ALPACALIPS!!!! *pays PoPo fine*
I would like to send a photo to gapas…
It is a hpb w alpacalips. (yay Photoshop)
Your musing is awaiting approval.
MBer: do you ever feel like you have to approve too many comments?
GAPA: No, I try to do it in moderation.
***awaits groans and plumface on fireh***
Oh, Alpaca…

*groans*
Plum….face? Plumface?
I’m assuming you mean facepalm.
*headdesk*
Hi there AlpacaLips! You know, you’re really unlike most adults I know. I think that’s a good thing…
HI!!!!!!!! We’ve heard a lot about you!!!!!!!! Your bunny-paca is AWESOME!!!!!!! (You’ve probably noticed that I use a lot of exclamation points. Well, who wouldn’t? They’re FUN!!!!!!)

8 – I like your sense of humor. *sigh* So, fireh convinced you to dive off the deep end and join us here? Beware: Insane GAPAs and even more insane MBers. Really.
Oh,
YES!!dear. Yet another batch ofconvertshostagescorrupted peoplehappy MuseBloggers!Who, me?
Not at all.
Hello. I am new.
Welcome! *pies*

Hello!
Welcome JJCool!

Hellooo, JJCool.

Welcome, mon ami! I introduced you to MB, and I hope you will post here more!
There is a

Awesome!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!Oh dear. Where? And welcome!Hey, man! Are you new too, Beetles?
Not really. He came on… exactly one year ago. May 6th, 2009.
He’s AM’s younger brother, and I introduced both of them to MB.
Did he? Happy Blogoversary, Beetles!
Wow. Happy belated blogiversary, Beetles!
Um, no. He isn’t.
Of course I’m not new! And thanks for noticing my blogoversary, Enc!
OhemGeorge. Happy belated blogoversary, Beetles!
And, welcome JJCool.
Sorry – my memory has a tendency to lapse suddenly. ESPECIALLY with names.
Don’t worry, mine does that too. (Except I recently auctioned off my brain…)
At least you have two souls to make up for the lack of brain.
True, true.
I have no soul. I have logic.
Ditto.
Logic is good. *does the “I won with LOGIC, nanananana~” dance that annoys all my friends so much, especially when it’s true*
I accidentally depressed AM when I made him realize there was no free will, or there is a soul. Here’s the argument:
P1: That which is physical is governed by physical laws.
P2: In a set situation governed by physical laws, there can only be one outcome.
P3: The mind is physical.
P4: Free will means that there can be multiple outcomes with one starting set.
_______
C1: The mind is governed by physical laws.
_______
C2: In a set situation, a mind will do one thing.
_______
C3: There can only be one outcome.
_______
C4: This contradicts free will. There is no free will.
Because we know that P1,P2,and P4 are true*, then the only one you can dispute is P3, which is that the mind is physical. This required mind-body dichotomy, i.e. a soul.
*decides to stop scaring the phyties*
*Actually, with the discovery of radioactive decay, and half-lives, then there will not be just one outcome. However,
P2: In a situation governed by physical laws that do not include radioactive decay, there will be one outcome.
And:
P5: The mind contains not substances that are radioactive, and decay.
Logic is sexy, at least in the Star Trek universe.
Hi. I’ve been lurking here for a few weeks, and I haven’t posted at all, so I think I know pretty much everything I should.
I guess it just seemed to interesting to just lurk anymore.
So, hi!
Welcome!

Hello! Welcome!

I presume you’ve been here long enough not to be frightened by the pies?
And I love your screen name! Is it Russian?
Not Russian. Czech, maybe? Or Serbian?
Hi.
No, not frightened by the pies.
It’s Translucency! in Czech.
Ah, so “svit” means “light,” like the Russian “svyet.” I thought it might be something like that.
Except that you seem to have changed your name to Keiffer.
Oh, no that was me. (Keiffer.) You see, Průsvitnost! is my cousin, and she had to get off the computer. (We were talking by email.) And she told me to post that for her, I just forget to say it was from her. *headdesk* My brain is in spaz mode at the moment, and that was a total fail on my part. Wow. *headdesk again* That was a total fail.
Ah.
again, then.
Well, as I told you, I have a lot of things going on in the brain at the moment, and I totally spaced on that particular thing.
You’re brilliant. XD
Niiice, Keiff.
Sorry. I had to leave and take my brother and sister outside. (They were getting grouchy, whadda’ yah’ know?) And I guess Keiffer already explained things vaguely.
I did tell her to post that while we were chattin’ and say it was me, but I guess she forgot to say it.
Thanks for all the welcome pies, an’ other greetings of sorts!
Now I’m off to search around other threads.
Welcome!

Prusvitnost. Hm, I think I can learn that name.
Welcome! :arow:

Ohcake.
Welcome!

I have been half stalking Museblog because my un-biological sister, SWAT, told me so much about it.
Yesh, so hai!
Hello. since you’ve already stalked, I hope you won’t be creeped out even further.
‘Flying Cheesecake’, eh? Amazing.
You know, maybe I should stop figuring out ways to abbreviate neophyte’s names before they’ve posted twice. Bad Errata.
Hello! I love your name, it makes me want… cheesecake.
Yum, cheesecake… Welcome to the blog

Hiii!

I cannot stay on any longer, so I would like to say WELCOME!
to my friend who is commenting on this thread as we speak! YAY! I feel so happy. *tears* Anyways, WELOME!!!
15.1.1.2.1 –
Yes master. My master craves brains. Braaaaiiinnsssss….Igor will make master proud. Brains, master craves, brains, master gets. LOL it’s Spock! Logic is the frontier, live long and beam me up, space – the final and prosper. I love mixing up random quotes
Anyway…
Welcome, Průsvitnost!
Also, Kieffer, I really like your gravatar – TARDIS, a

That would be a Dalek on the left.
