now that i’ve gotten first post, for the first time, on my first requested thread, there are quite a few games i’d like to recommmend. first off, Max Dirt Bike and Electric Man 2 from addictinggames.com. Next, miniclip.com has quite a few games worth playing. for video games, if anyone has a gamecube then Twilight Princess and Super Smash Bros. Melee are both awesome. again, thankyouthankyouthankyou GAPAs!!!
I’m not really into the computer (except for museblog), and I don’t have ANY videogames. I will now stop writing to leave room for people who are more interested in the subject.
Okay, I’ve played the first three Harry Potter games, Simpsons’ Hit and Run, and Nancy Drew mystery games. They’re pretty good. Oh, and I’ve also played Halo II at my cousins’ house a few times.

Myst! Myst myst myst! Very fun comp. game. The 1st is the best. Riven (#2) is cool too. Exile (#3) is fun, but it’s just not the same. The beginning of Revelation (#4) is good but the end is kinda lame. End of Ages (#5) I haven’t finished. It’s no where near as good as the others. But it’s entertaining nonetheless.
Basically, in the Myst games you are a person stranded in an interactive worls and you have to walk around gathering clues, noticing patterns and peicing together puzzles to solve the game.
so, does anyone know how to download video games so you can play them on a computer? My brother used to do that, and like you need some sort of platform or something and then you download the games, but I can’t figure out how to make it work..
I spend lots of my free time playing Counter Strike Source with my pals, and getting mad at everyone playing WoW for clogging up the game store and the internet. Argh.

12- Ooh, myst. I have it on my Windows 98 that I haven’t turned on in the last six months at least and I think isn’t properly connected so it will work right now (always on my mom’s laptop under my account now), and I haven’t played much, but it’s cool. If kind of freaky.
The Sims and SimGolf I liked, but they’re on said Windows 98. RollerCoaster Tycoon 3 takes forever to load tutorials, so I never play it. I usually play Pinball and Minesweeper, if anything.

Morrowind, if your computer will run it. One of the most complex and addictive computer games ever, and a total work of art. The scenery is so stunning, you’ll want to stop every 5 minutes and take photos. And you can. I’ll tell you how, if you like. The sequel, Oblivion, is even better, but it requires serious hardware to run it. Warning – they are onbsession-inducing, and you will be complained at bitterly by your parents.

i’m not a big fan of runescape, mostly because it shows me just how pathetic my comp is, but partly because what do you do? you click on the chicken and then oh man you’re fighting and the chicken’s dead. or you’re dead. either way, it gets old pretty fast.

41-one thing for runescape though-it’s FREE XD (Ebeth=currently broke…) i probably would love WoW if i played it, but i’ll never pay for a comp game when you can get them free (admittedly crappier, but whatevs)

okay, my dad is REALLY strict about what video games i can play, and im saving most of my money to buy a console

if no one has noticed this, i should say that though addictinggames does have some cool games, you gotta go through a lotta junk to find them. arcadetown has pretty much all the good games that addicting does, and theres not very many pop-ups. but there selection is pretty limited. mofunzone is good if you like flash games, but there selection is very small.
you’ll notice that i’ve been talking almost competely about online games. right now thats pretty much all i do play. but i use to play a lotta offline games. SW battlegrounds is pretty good, but i wouldn’t buy the… ummmm… i seem to have forgotten what its called… i dunno, the extension pack? i dunno, but you get what i mean i hope. any way, the extension pack thingy is a give or take kinda thing.

I have a computer rant/question/issue that fits here best, I think.
Remember how I mentioned an old Win98 in my room? I think I mentioned it. Well, I was bored and mom kicked me off her(this) computer, so I cleaned off my desk(moved piles of junk on it to the floor and other junk-covered flat areas) and checked all the connections and plugged in the power strip and everything turned on except the computer. The monitor and USB-attached CD burner blinked at me. The USB mouse and keyboard and wireless internet adaptor did nothing. So, of course I went to museblog about it. There’s some fundamental part of this life escaping me. Is irony the right word?

55: Do not get a wii. There are no good games except Zelda, and even that gets boring. The playability is horrendous, it’s way too sensitive. Maybe Call Of Duty 3 has some good points, but overall much better off getting a PS3 or an xbox360. Really. Nintendo is bull.
Something for modest hardware? Try the Broken Sword series. They’re simple spy adventures, but they’re very well written, and hilarious in places. Or if your hardware’s even older, try the first two in the Monkey Island series. Guybrush Threepwood will have you in fits of uncontrollable giggling.
Wiis? Either we’re getting one for my bro’s birthday or for mine. Dunno.

That thing that changes the wall voltage to the correct voltage is broken. The computer as a result isn’t getting any power and thus won’t turn on. Does anyone know how I can at least salvage the hard drive and attach it to this computer? I need a computer, I need my computer. When I was ten, I started 7th grade in a new school on the opposite side of the country and everything I did, wore, said was wrong for a girl according to the locals. I wore socks instead of stockings, didn’t carry a purse, certainly didn’t wear make up (and I don’t now either, except for theater and Hallowe’en).
I liked boys, though, because they didn’t care about any of that stuff and because we could have fun competing, whether in class or playing football in the street. I was also one of the only two girls who rode bikes to school which was somehow considered a horrendous crime against nature, though I could never figure out why.
So, you may imagine, it’s been a very touchy subject for me, too. Still is, in some ways. It took me way too long before I finally got fed up with being told what a girl is supposed to be like. Now when I hear someone say “oh, women are like this or should be like that,” I’m thinking “not this woman.”
So I say, it’s your word. Own it. Most of all, don’t let someone else take it from you.

I built my own computer, so thre was a huge bunch of stability issues with it, but it was cool.

Koopa’s friend Goomba was having a birthday party when Koopa suddenly had an urge to use the Little Koopa’s room. While he did, the party was crashed by Mario and Co. Koopa returned only to find beaten-up or kidnapped goombas. If only Bowser had been there. Koopa only had one option: REVENGE!
It’s good! So far I have gotten through Bowser’s Castle (boss: Wario), Mushroom Forest (boss: Peach), and halfway through Sky Mountain.
Also, “Mario vs. Donkey Kong 2: March of the Minis” is good. Here’s what I’ve gotten done in it so far:
1. Completed the game.
2. Gotten 17 out of 18 gallery photos.
3. Gotten all mini-games and completed all of them.
4. Gotten all construction kits.
5. Need 10 silver stars for level B1.

On the subject of computer games, I play MacBrickout (except I have to restart my computer in OS9 to play, so I don’t play it much) and Pop-pop. And occasionally I play Solitaire on my mom’s iPod. Other than that, nadazipnone.
Now: About Solitaire. Who else is addicted? I mean, once you start it takes an effort of extreme willpower to stop, even though it’s totally the most tedious thing you have ever done in your young life.

I’ve never played Lego Star Wars II, but I have played the first game. It was fun. I’m going to look for #2 soon. It might be as much fun to compare the two games as play them. See what the differnces are, choose which game I like better in different respects. And we own a lot of games, such as:

It’s boring because all you do is sit there and click a little button in an attempt to kill a creature, and you don’t really control your own actions like you can in D&D. Has anyone here read Heir Apparent, by Vivian Vande Velde? It’s really good and it’s about a video game, therefore, it goes here.

*sniffs un-haughtily* I just learned an awful lot about video games, or so it seems. Probably I didn’t learn anything, but jeez, I feel like I did.
I just got the August issue of Nintendo Power (don’t ask), and they gave Harry Potter and TOOTP a 7 out of 10!! I don’t understand why they thought it was “okay on the good side” (that’s my definition of a 7). You have some great spells (so what if you only have 12 – that’s the most they’ve ever had!); you get to have duels with Slytherins; there are tons of things to do at Hogwarts; you can play wizard games like Wizard’s Chess, Gobstones, and Exploding Snap; and you can even take OWLS on the portable versions!
I just found the last trophy for Fancy Pants Adventure! Here is how you get it: go to level 3, go to the short, raised hill where two spiders cross paths. Walk up to the left edge of that hill until you fall into one of those hidden holes. Walk along the tunnel until you’re at the outline of a door. Open it, jump on the trampoline 3 times, and the trophy appears.
Also, I have something else to say about this game: remember where you encountered your first mouse w/ gun? Jump on the ledge to the left of him and run along it until you find a box. Jump inside to learn something good about the next game.

The closest thing to having these electronics is probably my radio. I think it is around ten years old, maybe more, the CD player is broken, so it just plays radio and tapes. But it’s great! I can turn it on any time and listen to the classical station, or change the channel, but no, I can’t put it in my pocket. I do not have any cell phone or stuff like that, I don’t have my own computer, I don’t have a normal phone in my room, and I don’t have a single video game. This is the only thing I do online, except a few bird sites and the local weather radar. My clock in my room is probably almost 25 years old and runs on batteries, but it has snoopy and woodstock on it so I like it.
Am I simple enough? I think I make an OK Quaker, not perfect. I have a desk in my room and mountains of papers with notes and little drawings or designs scribbled down! It FILLS the room!

Does anyone know how to do the Wrath sin in the game “Seven Deadly Sins”? That’s the only one I can’t do. Here are the others:
Sloth: Go to bed again right after you go to bed a first time.
Greed: Work your way through the ranks at work, then fire your colleauge.
Gluttony: Eat, say, 5 or 6 burgers in a row.
Lust: After marrying one of the girls, go for a drink with her. The key is to line up with the glass, then press it at the right time (adjusting if you need to).

189 – i advise you to look at the Wiki article on the Smash Bros. series. it has, if you scroll down, a list of all the playable characters in each of the games. all of the characters that you mentioned have not been announced yet for Brawl. that doesn’t mean they won’t be there. and, since when was Baby Bowser in any of the Smash games?

Opinion: l like 8-bit characters for the same reason Brian Clevinger does: lt takes more than just flashy graphics to make a game good. l just like the style of FF1 and FF2. And 3-d isn’t nescessarily better than 2-d.

Im mostly a PC gamer, but I play on the wii, too. I play civilization 4 (best series EVER), star wars-empire at war, some random wii games, and bloons tower defense 2.
I became addicted to The Sims 2 again. I’m not playing it now though, because I’ve decided only to if I need to.

Brawl is here! By the way, there are three characters that you still have to unlock once you finish the story in SSE:
1. Toon Link: Go to the jungle, go through the floating door just before the trees, and beat him, or beat Classic as Link and beat him.
2. Star Wolf: Go to the Ruins stage, skip the first door, enter the second at the bottom, and beat him, or beat Boss Mode as Fox and beat him.
3. Jigglypuff: Go to the lake, go through the door floating above the island in the middle, and beat it.
I came up with a great idea – set items to frequent and only beam swords, choose Link and Ganondorf, choose Norfair, and when the lava wave rises up, have both players swing. As they are about to connect, pause and take a snapshot – it’ll look like something straight outta Star Wars Episode III.

Never heard of it. What is it?
SPOILER WARNING GOLDEN SUN SPOILER WARNING. GOLDEN SUN SPOILER WARNING GOLDEN SUN SPOILER WARNING GOLDEN SUN There we are.
Golden sun is a turn-based RPG game for the GBA. It is based off of the four elements thing – it’s like Avatar: The Last Airbender. You are a young boy (his standard name is Issac) living in a town called Vale. One night, Mt. Aleph erupts. A huge boulder comes down, crushing your dad and your friend Jenna’s family – her brother Felix and her parents. When you attempt to head back into the plaza, two strange people ambush you. They beat you, and run off. Three years later, you, your friend Garet, Jenna, and an Alchemy (it’s what they call all of the 4 elements – any one element or technique alone is Psynergy) teacher named Kraden. You solve the puzzles and find the chamber where the elemental stars are. As you and Garet… bottom line is, first of all, it’s got an awesome story.
In addition, there’s a really cool battle system. Some weapons you find, if you simply attack with them, unleash a special effect that can be devastating. There are also these little creatures called Djinns – little elemental creatures that can do certain things in battle. Finally, there’s summons. When you have enough Djinn on standby, you can summon a god or goddess to do some serious damage.
IT ROCKS! If you don’t believe me, go try it for yourself.
Harry Potter! I have 6 – I’m not kidding – 6 HP computer games! And they all rock except the second one. Everything is timed! Who wants to play a timed game? But the OOTP one is the BEST! And the graphics are AMAZING! So whenever I watch the movie, I invariably yell “Ooh! I’ve been there!” or “Heyy…if you cast Wingardium Leviosa there, the tapestry lifts up and you see a hidden statue and get discovery points!”
Sims 2 is okay.
Cluefinders games are awesomeness!

Whoops… looks like everyone has. I’ve only gotten to the Stoneship Age in the 1st Myst, and am CREEPED OUT by the flower-into-skull hologram thingy. But RIven is the coolest, they just need to remake it like they did the first one.

You know what I don’t get about the end of Golden Sun 2? Why didn’t Felix, Issac, and Co. go back to Mt. Aleph, catch up with Alex, kick that sucker’s *beep*, THEN come back and light the lighthouse.

306 – Actually, I read about this in Nintendo Power – it’s gonna be Kingdom Hearts: 3??/2 Days, and it focuses on the Organization.
I just got a good idea.
1. Win the 1000 heartless fight with the kingdom key, no healing (magic or items), and no reaction commands (including the floating things).
2. Beat Sephiroth with the Kingdom Key. You have to use reaction commands just to survive. Healing depends on whether or not he uses his Sin Harvest move – the one that leaves you with 1 hp and 0 mp. If he does that, then by all means use an elixir or megaelixir.
3. Win the Hades Paradox Cup with the Kingdom Key. You have to use reaction commands to win, and you can heal. It’s 50 matches that carry health over to each other – there’s just no way to do it without healing.
If you can do all those in Kingdom Hearts II on proud mode, you have some serious skill.

I’m doing excellent on Pirate of the Carribean Online. If you need help leveling up, I suggest going to the fort at Port Royal. There are soldiers there for all range of levels.

Well, Ewan the police chief has cheered up, you can paraglide in the mountains now, and Tyler the tailor isn’t making any more clothes. MySims DS is actually kinda hard. And you know what? It feels when I’m playing the game that it’s the last few days to accomplish everything. It’s really weird.
322 – Yeah. It really stinks to have basic access. But I once got this one Mayhem battle. I got five points while everyone else got zero. There were only two of us, though.
‘kay, it took me a while to figure this out, but I finally got it. Here is the official Kingdom Hearts timeline:
Birth By Sleep is first. It tells of 3 key-bearers (for more info, go to the Kingdom Hearts wiki and check out Kingdom Hearts 2: Final Mix) during the Keyblade War, about 10 years before the original Kingdom Hearts.
Next up is the original, Chain of Memories, and Kingdom Hearts 2.
Finally, there’s Kingdom Hearts Coded. Jiminy finds a strange message in his journal, and when King Mickey decodes it on the Twilight Town comp (I think that’s the one he uses), Sora goes into this virtual world of sorts. It’s much more puzzle oriented than any of the others.
And Kingdom Hearts 358/2 Days fits in between the original and Kingdom Hearts 2. It starts when Sora turns into a heartless and Roxas, his nobody, is born. It follows Roxas and the Organization, until Roxas leaves.
By the way, here’s something else I found out. All of the organization members have a naming. Their name is given by making an anagram of their original name and adding an X. So for example, “Sora” becomes “Roxas” after you switch the letters around and add an X. “Ansem” becomes “Xemnas” in the same way. Cool.
And I know this is getting long, but one last thing: Xion is now, after an official Square Enix announcement, the fourteenth member of Organziation XIII.

I got my voodoo doll to level 5 in just an hour and a half today. It felt goooooooooooooooooooooooood. What’s great about the voodoo doll is that I can now take on level 16 enemies or so (if I have something to restore voodoo power) and barely take any damage.

The new islands that are coming out soon seem lame: Nabooti Island (Choose Your Own Adventure Island, but with a weird name) and Big Nate Island. The Big Nate comic strip is good, but an island based around it seems dumb.
