YAY! First post! I guess it is almost March…
i dont got it
and i am sick with flu!
gapas cuold you stop starting this therds to erly?
The pink tights will evolve into… More pink tights.
Huh?
Yes. THE pink tights shall evolve into… not just pink, but blue, red, and orange tights.
P.S. I am now back after a lengthly absence. Hi, people (or whatever species you are)!
They will evolve into LIME GREEN TIGHTS! I would wear them. But eventually they’d probably turn into a pair of Ligons.
i just got mine. i signed up for that esp game. it’s really fun!!! you guys should totally do it!!!
espgame.org
I’m addicted to that game. It’s so cool. But I’ve only got 10,000 points .
Loved the epigenetics story. And the jeans. The pink tights gene will prevail, and soon, all jeans will have dissapeared to be replaced by pink tights *cue maniacal laughter* I don’t think they actually mentioned tigons in the story, did they?
The story on yiddish books was really good. I read it to my mom, who loved it. The train story was hilarious. Funny, even though both her parents spoke yiddish she only knows a few words. It’s one of those languages that is slowly dissapearing generation by generation.
The pink tights have evolved into my sister’s pink army pants, which are like pink jeans, but thinner, and like tights, but thicker and wider.
Ah! New information has come up!
THE PINK TIGHTS by I. M. Crazee
THE pink tights shall evolve into… *drumroll*
CARGO PANTS!
Okay, maybe not. Mind you, it’s still just a theory.
I have officially graduated from the Novice level at the Espgame! They think I’m “gifted”!
I completely forgot to mention it came yesterday. They should put the MuseBlog url in every issue like they do the caruspub one. I was going to save it for school, but now I can’t do that anymore and will reread it in school. And Muse is doing its psychic articles corresponding with classwork thing again. We’re doing earthquakes in earth science. And groundhog22 was there.
Espgame is addictive. I’m on a break from playing it now.
I haven’t got my muse yet, but I just looked at espgame, and how is it different from google image labeler?
We got ours yesterday! Squee!!!
Congrats to Skipper…nice PWT PWNS sign!!
(I think it was skipper)…
Yeah it was! I was so surprised when I turned the page and saw a photo of me there on the mail page! I kept on meaning to send that photo in with a letter, but I never got to it. Thanks for getting it into the mag, GAPAs! How did you do that? I’m going to write a letter now so I can brag about it. Heehee.
I haven’t read the whole magazine yet, because I only got it today. But I just have to say that the editors have yet again deomnstrated amazing physcic abilities- we’re just learning about genetics now in biology! I’m going to bring the article in to show my teacher.
I think that the pink tights will evolve into polka-dot leggings.
I really liked the genetics article and the Yiddish article. And it was cool to see skipper! and see groundhog22’s question!
In my opinion, the pink tights will definiately evolve into hot pink bunnies. Why hasn’t anyone else thought of that? Just by the way, no, I am not writing this at some random time of night as it may display me as! Honestly, this 8 hour time difference makes me do some strange things…
20. Hot pink bunnies…thats pretty brilliant!! Time changes…uhggg
No, no, guys, the pink tights will evolve into lime green leggings…sheesh….
I liked the article on genes…that is SO cool, how much our environment can affect how we look, think, and act…golly….
Hm. So if our environment affects our genes, could we purposely alter our children and grandchildren by, say, eating a certain way, or exposing ourselves to certain chemicals? Altering them for the better, i mean…
What if our great-great-great-great-great (etc.) grandchildren could be more intelligent, faster, stronger, or be better at things because we learned and stayed in shape as much as possible?
Sweet.
MY LETTER GOT IN THE MAGAZINE!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
*jumps for joy*
24- What’s your name, then?
My dad knows the guy who did the Yiddish Books thing. Seriously! Frank something, methinkz… But my dad knows him! This tim I’ll actually SEND IN my contest entry.
I think the pink tights will evolve into…A purty pink prom dress! Ehm, sorry. I’ve been looking at prom mags w/ my friend for the last two days.
25- I was the one who asked about the big ball that follows Urania around. Add that to the tally of MBers who got in, please!
you know the article about the genes the kid with the grandpa has my haircut.
Skipper-good job with the sign! i was so happy when i saw it i was wowing myself. awwwwweeeeesssssooooommmmmeeeee.
27- cool. i wish they published my stuff. i entered the contest about harry potter that was published in feb o7. but mine didn’t make it. they sent it back to me with a “muse award for deduction” did anyone else who entered any contests get something like that?
for hallowe’en i was Rem from Deathnote. i made it myself. i was too lazy to finnish it do i could send in a picture. it was fun tho. i was basically wraping and glueing sheets to these old clothes while they were on me but i wraped the top too tight and couldn’t get it off. so my mom cut it up the back and i velcroed it together. so proud of myself.
i thought the gene thing was realy cool. i ‘m a twin myself!
When I entered the imaginary beastie contest, they sent back a certificate that said “Honorary Muse of Creativity.”
sorry i didnt c the kid and grandpa. i entered the hp contest 2 and some kid w/my same name and age and state won but it wasnt me. it was weird. i was a shy guy from mario. it didnt work so well so half way through trick or treating i changed in to an old darth vader costume. my neighbors have 2 sets of identical twins! they have 8 year old boys and 3 year old girls
I LOVED the article on Yiddish books! I feel inspired. I want to learn Yiddish.
*unrolls list of things to do before I’m 30 and carefully adds “Learn Yiddish” at the bottom* *notices odd looks from Musers* What? I still have sixteen more years!
23-Dude…why would you want to change your children, grandchildren, etc.? That’s almost like baby sex selection, which is an absolutely horrid practice, I think.
I liked being able to learn some Yiddish from the article…that was sweet…I’m kind of obsessed with languages…tehe…
30- it’s in the article about genetics and whatnot.
31- that’s cool. that’s on my list of things to do in the next 20 years along with:learn mandarin, learn japanese, learn gaelic
33- I’m on one of mine: LEARN LATIN. Utterly useless, I know, but still.
13- It doesn’t take much to be gifted. Apparently, I’m “profoundly gifted”. Who knew?!?!?!?! (I didn’t.)
ligers and tigons and bears!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
the pink tights will evolve into………………………………………….. red jumpsuits!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
my mother loooved the article on yiddish books. I found the rest of the article old stuff. Yes, we know genetical modification can do wonders. How about a provocative editorial?
I did my Bio extra credit on the Lamarck bit, we learned about him earlier his year. I got that picture of the liger along with other pics of it a while ago.
i FINALLY got my march muse! w00t! anyways, the part about the hidden art in books was fr00dy. the contest looks hard, but the pic with the 2 dinos and the baloon was kul. i already knew about ligers and tigons, but i still learned a few things from t3e article. anyways, i’m gonna ask the MAPs about something. GAPAs, are u (or the Muse editors) going 2 put my letter in MuseMail? u might not know about that kind of thing, but i wuz just wondering.
We’re not involved in that part of the magazine, I’m afraid. Rosanne and I write our Q&A column, PB&J contributes a couple of articles a year, and Lady B. might be doing some illustrations eventually, but none of us has any say or knowledge about what goes into Muse Mail.

Awesome articles, but I like it better when there are shorter articles with more than 4 topics. (I would prefer 3 little articles to 1 big article.)

45 i agree
45- see, I’d actually take an in-depth, interesting article over three shorter ones that just skim the surface any day.
