We’re not sure what’s going on — some glitch with the servers at our host company. For whatever reason, MuseBlog has been only intermittently available today, and it’s not clear that we’re out of the woods yet. Sorry!
Patience, Please
This site is under reconstruction and will look strange for a while. We regret the inconvenience.
not again! I coudn’t get on earlier. i hate when this happens.
me god. i thought my internet died. kept getting t/o messages. bloody wordpress!!!!!!!
What’s going on? Why is he whole system faulty?
I realized that I’m completely addicted to MB. It was down for just a little while, and I was really sad and going back to MB every 5 seconds to see if it was working!
I noticed.
I had a little trouble today, but it seems fine now.
OK, who said bad things about the WordPress gremlins? They don’t like being insulted, you know, even if it’s amply justified. The big brown ones are OK, they’re thick skinned (literally and figuratively) and fairly docile, but the little green ones take deep umbrage if you comment adversely on their work record. One of the technicians at Cisco invented the term “green-out” for a suspected gremlin-induced server crash. He thought it was highly amusing until one of the little perishers heard him and called a union meeting. Well, a clan gathering, then. The resulting gremlin walkout shut down the entire internet for 47 milliseconds and caused total chaos. It might have been several hours if all the central servers hadn’t been running conflict resolution software for just such an eventuality. They went through six cycles of hard negotiation, then caved in to get the system up and running again. That’s why all gremlins nowadays are entitled to lengthy tea breaks, and why server companies have to employ so many of them. Not that they actually drink tea, but you really don’t want to know what they do instead.
I was freaking out. like Panda.”OMG! NOOO!”
This is like Wungs!
Gremlins? OK, now that’s just nuts. Give credit where credit’s due and don’t slight those hardworking Computer Wungs.
Just kidding.
MuseBlog! Ahhhhhhh!!!!!!! *sniffle* Where did you go?!?!?!?
*dramatically breaks down and sobs*
LOAD YOU STUPID PAGE, LOAD!!!!!!!!!!
Hmm. I was at cafépress for most of it, then the little wordpress error thing popped up, so I clicked refresh and got in right away. I was only at MuseryLoves for about 15 minutes, too. Hmm, maybe the gremlins like me.
13- Lucki….
do u think someone is hacking the system or just a rouge hpb?
I don’t know if they have the necessary technical skills. It’s possible.

Dracasting, quit it. You’re pissing me off and taking up precious moderating time. You know someone has to read your whole moronic post? Do the blog a favour and shut up if you don’t have anything good to say.
The above is a message from a disgruntled PoPoPo.
Our Web provider has apologized for the outage. Here’s an excerpt from their latest e-mail newsletter:
########################################################################
1. Power Outage APOLOGIES!
Downtime gets me down.
Hopefully, since you don’t run a web hosting company, it’s not so big a deal for you. Yeah, you can’t check your email from midnight-5am Pacific time one Sunday. Hopefully you aren’t normally on the Internet then. Hopefully, you’re normally flipping from rooftop to rooftop, throwing shuriken and eating pizza at that time.
Nevertheless, not everybody can be a ninja, a teenager, a mutant, or even a turtle, and some of you may have gotten a little down this last weekend when our planned power outage had a few unforeseen side-effects.
Which is why, we recommend you read this blog post about our new “SLA”!
