Argh! I never get my Muse this far ahead! *sigh*
The HAWK
1-Neither do I. I get usually mine on the 10th of the month! So I’m expecting it to come in 2 weeks. *sigh*
Oh wait, these comments should belong on the roll call thread. Whoops!
WARNING: SPOILER!!!
The April 2007 issue of Muse has an article about oragami.
END OF SPOILER
4 – OMG!!! I don’t have my muse yet, but I like spoilers..well…I don’t know why. I just can’t wait long enough, so… But I LOVE ORIGAMI!!!! Especially modular origami, with 30+ pieces of paper per model!
5 – I got that info from the Muse Magazine’s Home Page. Look at it – it has a picture of the April 2007 Muse cover – if you can pry yourself off MuseBlog.
am i the only one with my muse yet?

Articles ’bout oragami, playing dead, near-future appliances, North Korea, and a sad Kokopelli and company. at least, i think so. poor Bo. WHY MUST COWS NOT HAVE FINGERS TO DO ORGAMI? *sob*
anyways, i might enter the contest cause paper folding is a huge pastime of mine. that dragon that Satoshi Kamiya folded is amazing. one unaltered square piece of paper?!?!?!?!? amazing!!!
lots of people felt sorry for the animals in the Vegetarianism article. tons o’ mail–3 pages.
last page-unbelievable frog.
the oragami singer and violinist were really cool. the playing dead was kind of weird. the near future appliances were awesome!!!! it was kind of ironic cuz we were talking about north korea in school today and then i came home and saw the article about it. dont worry i thought the kokopelli and company was sad too. i might enter the oragami contest but i know i wont win. the dragon was soooo cool. how could that be one piece of papaer??? i felt sorry for the animals but not sorry enough to write a letter like that. the mail section was hugeanormus but i like the mail part so that was good. the froggy coughing up a frog was cool.
The North Korea article rocked, and so did the origami one. The playing dead one was OK.
GAPAs- about those two Q+A’s in the April issue…. Was that a koinkydink that you got two “funny name” letters or did I miss something?
I liked the N. Korea article, and the articles on origami and appliances. Actually, the dragon, as amazing as it is, seemed to be too repetitive. Was it just me, or did he fold the head, the feet, and then a million of the body parts over and over again? I don’t think that it’s his best piece. Treemaker looks awesome, but hard to use for someone like me. Was the energy lamp supposed to show off how little energy your bulb uses?
What the heck…?
That was the APRIL issue?!
^^; I really do need to pay more attention. I got that a few days ago.
The playing dead one disturbed me… just because to be blutantly and pointlessly honest I hate and am -phobia-ic about dead things, even faking-it-dead-things.
^^; But the origami and April Fool’s Q & A and the rest was all great.
I enjoyed the N.K. bit but didn’t feel there was much information in it… wished to learn more about the situation in North Korea…
Oh yeah, Robert, Rosanne, what was with the names??
My favorite was definitely the origami, because I LOVE origami. I’m definitely entering the contest…I have a really good idea!
Let’s just say that they made us wonder about the origin and legitimacy of the questions. We began to suspect that somebody might be playing a LITTLE prank on us…
…I think that Robert and Rosanne have developed multiple personalities…
I got it!! Whee! And, although I am not good at origami, I decided to try and make Koko out of computer paper. One of my attempts almost resembled him, but there’s a part I can’t get out of the way so there’s quite a bit of him where there shouldn’t be anything. Meh. I did get something resembling a flute, though, even if the legs were a disaster.
im glad i dont live in north korea
17- Aren’t we all, especially after that article.
I’m terrible at origami, especially at following instructions. I usually understand the first two steps, which are usually something along the lines of “fold the paper in half… fold it in half the other way”.
my favorite article was the origami one
I tried the human origami on my dad. It was rather amusing. And then I showed him the origami article, and apparently he went to college with Robert Lang!
Hi Everyone! First time Blogger, Long Time Reader
What does pwns mean?
22-Welcome! *PIES!* I’m not totally completely sure, but it has something to do with pwt ruling everything or something. Guys?
Anyway, welcome again. I would suggest heading to the HG2MB, and the rules. Also, smillies generally need a space before them when they are at the start of a line. *pies again* Oh, and being pied is generally a good thing.
Sincerely,
The greatest smillie-maker of all time.
as far as i can tell, its a purposful misspelling of pwt owns
wasn’t pwns explained in muse at some point? it’s some sort of vriation on owns, I think, so it’s basically like saying something rules. It’s used all over the internet, not just for pwt. But PWT PWNS looks froody.
There’s actually an article on “pwns” on wikipedia.
I was actually a little dissappointed in the origami article, because I had already read the exact article in Discover, and Muse cut out some parts. Oh no, beloved Muse publishing something from a semi-mainstream source? The horror!
I really want to read that book on N. Korea now that the article was excerpted from. Is excerpt a verb? Oh well.
I don’t get how the heat-sensitive lamp or the glowing power cord help conserve energy.
Definitely my faovrite part of this issue was “Eye Reflections”. It was amazing!
Who is Mary F. on the blog? She said she was here, but didn’t mention her blogname…
26- There is?
22- Hello! *pies*
I showed my mommy the frog coughing up the froggy. She was . She started freaking out and saying, “Ew! Gross!”. That was hilarious.
I think that I am braver than my mommy.
I was on vacation for a week, and apparently the day before we left I got my Muse but my parents decided to “save it for the trip”. T_T
Cat’s Meow
I looked up Robin Hood Studies. It isn’t archery and stuff at all, but studying Robin Hood. How misleading.
26-There’s an article on 1337 and n00b too.
29-Awwww…
Cat’s Meow
Did the april issue announce something about Muse getting smaller and shorter in length, cause I never got it.
I GOT IT!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
Twas good. Oragomi article was coolio! The coolness of the cover: 9 out of 10. I would definently take it to school and read it. This issue of Muse has an awesome factor of cool-looking. How’d the dude ever fold that out of a square sheet of paper? And how big was the paper to start out with?
Only 2 people entered in the Muse Contest. Whoa factor. Why do people not enter in these contests anymore?
Where in the heck is everybody?
