That was bordering on a PoPo, wasn’t it? Um…well, I’m just going my conclusion that I just posted on Part 3. Go back there if you want to see the rest of the discussion.
All right. That theory is officially disproved. You cannot use somebody else’s username to hack into their posts, unless you share an IP address. Thank goodness. (Although I have no clue what impact e-mail addresses have into it.) Of course, like on Mythbusters, we’re going to get so many complaints about this…

Um GAPAs did you get my post for the last thread? I am putting here in case I put it in too late…
My magazines:
Muse
Birdwatcher’s Digest
Living Bird
Audubon Magazine
The Auk
Can’t think of any others right now, besides local bird newsletters that would tell you where I live.

5-I posted my list on the last thread, but I want to post it again here. Between my brother and I we subscribe to:

(8) Aw phoo.
But seriously, whatever happened to my unmoderated post in March Medley, part 4? Is it still suspended in GAPA-moderating hyperspace? Gone forever? Or what?
0
0
3 – Wait a minute! Would it still work even if you had the correct e-mail address but you were on a different computer? All right, lets do some more experimenting. *rubs hands together suspiciously*
My next post will be under the name “davidude”, and the e-mail address (totally fake, obviously) will be “testing@yahoo.com”. Let’s see if it will work this time.

GAPAs, suspend this post in moderating hyperspace for a while, please.

7-What’s the current record?
8-What’s that mean? You’d delete the posts? (Sorry, I don’t understand)

Since I just posted my magazines on the other thread, and nobody will probably go there anymore, the magazines/newspapers I/my family subscribes to are:
Newsweek (me)
Muse (me and THF)
Lego (brother)
Ask (brother)
National Geographic (family)
Pittsburgh Magazine (mom)
Pittsburgh Post-Gazette (family)

(10),
Posting it would have squeezed it into the sequence of posts, messing up the numbers people used to refer to posts after it, so I zapped it.
(12 8 ),
Yes, we Administrators dislike blatant attempts to squander space.
0
0
IT WORKED! And, to prove it…I can tell you davidude’s hidden post said.
“GAPAs, suspend this post in moderating hyperspace for a while, please.”
That explains why all my preliminary tests were working! It wasn’t because of the IP address, it was because of the e-mail address!
0

Of course, this renders the point moot, because MuseBloggers aren’t giving out their e-mail addresses to any other bloggers anyways.

Funny, I can see Robert’s post, but mine is still in moderation before it! I wonder if anybody else can see the number difference! Funny… Well, what I’m posting about…14 (or whatever that # turns out to be) Yes, I feel the same way. People lately have been doing all sorts of weird things. Like imitating GAPAs, and testing whether or not you can see somebody else’s post before moderation. I’m not sure if the Spring air is getting to them or what. hmm…
The Worrying HAWK

i posted using a different email address for a while and nothing weird happened.
i dont know if that matters . . .?

12 – The record for most random threads in a month is at least 5 (October 2006).
Post 7 was sort of a joke.

19-That post WAS testing if you can see somebody else’s post before moderation. xD That was me using davidude’s username. But still, I only use their username with permission.
0

19 – Well the GAPAs will zap any more imitation posts, and the experimenting is over, revealing you need an e-mail address as well as the correct name to spy on people. So you have nothing to worry about.

Let me guess, RTH the swift, youluuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuv birds, right?

18- wait what have you been going about doing? discovering that you may see other’s post if you post using their email? weird.
and I don’t think the covers so bad. I like the colours in it.

Why would you get a million mags on birds?
(sorry about the double post)

Let’s see…will we make it to a March Medly 5?
So far, we have about 25 posts every two hours. There are 77 hours left in March. So that comes out to…
*does calculations*
862 more posts by the end of March.
*falls over*
0
0
26-Yup! Isn’t it awesome! xD
28-ARE YOU KIDDING? That’s not only a Part 5, but Parts 6 and 7 as well! I guess that’s assuming the GAPAs and MBers are on 24/7, though. We’ll be lucky if we get another one after this. Oh yeah, and also…it’s usually more than 25 every 2 hours, from what I’ve seen.
0

I doubt that wewill make it to a march medley 5. thets just try in april.

Well yea, it took 10 days to get from part 3 to part 4. Part 5 is in nearly complete doubt.

The cover is OK. I get the UK version, even though I live in the United States, and I really really want to know what that looks like now. I’m sure there is a news article somewhere but I’m too lazy to look.
0
0
Sorry for the double post, but I’m responding to posts that weren’t up when I was typing my other post.
31- We probably could. I just hope we don’t do it with pointles posts, because then it wouldn’t really mean anything.
32- playboy bunny? my parents would probably say the same thing. I haven’t showed them Musery Loves Company.
0
0
35-Yeah, and then there’s be no point. On the bright side, in 2 1/2 hours we got 36 or so posts. That works out to be…14.4 posts per hour. In other words: davidude’s estimate is about right.
0
0
(35, 32),
Have they looked at the Playboy bunny lately?
Small chance of confusion, I’d say.
0

I don’t see a big similarity. My parents didn’t say anything about it…we have a HPB sweatshirt.
0

(28) You aren’t taking into account the hours of about 11PM-6AM when people are asleep (in varying time zones also, so that stretches it) and the fact the most MBers are at school for a good five to seven hours. Unless we all sit here like creeps and POST POST POSTPOSTPSOTPSOTPSOTSPOTPSOTPSODFJSKGSPTG then it’s unlikely that will happen.
I hope everyone has seen the new Potter Puppet Pals, although I am personally a bigger fan of Neil’s animutations on EvilTrailmix than anything else.
0
0
Honestly, I don’t really see the big deal with viewing other peoples posts. I mean, unless yu were going around impersonating someone you wouldn’t be able to see it before moderation, and why would we do that? We’d be just as bad as whoever posted something not allowed.
0
0
OK, OK. I don’t usually like to complain but I am just going to assert my Impressive Veteran Musebloggerness (now that I’ve been here a full year I’ve declared myself veteran, anyway) to inform the posters hypermoocow and davidude that posts 2, 4 and 7 are classifiable as POINTLESS POSTS, something we try to cut down on. We love you for being here, but please restrain, yah? Thank you.
(37) Funnily enough, 2 people have told me they thought the bunny on my shirt was the playboy bunny when they first saw it (though they both admitted that it only took a second for them to realize it wasn’t)
Who here likes spelunking?

Hypermoocow, please change your name. There is another muser named moocow, and unless you are she, I would say this borders on confusion
0

I’ve never actually been spelunking, although I love the word.
I get Muse, my brother gets Kids Discover, and nobody gets Click. It was supposedly for my younger siblings, but none of them like it. I never liked it, when I used to read it. (a loooong time ago).

Yes, I do love birds. The different magazines all cover things different ways, so they don’t really repeat things. Bird Watcher’s Digest covers a lot of yard bird stuff and what you can do to attract them. Living Bird covers things around the Cornell center, and important bird stories. Audubon has stories about the environment in general, and how changes in it are affecting wildlife, including birds. Does that help?
I’m going to put the poll here again so people who didn’t see it on the last thread know what’s going on:
MY POLL:
What magazines OTHER than Muse do you/your family get?

Spelunking… I would love to go. Sort of a cross between going in caves and rock climbing, plus pitch black. That seriously sounds fun to me. My cousin has, though.
We Get:
Muse
Odyssey
A bunch of stuff my mom gets I don’t read
the newspaper
We used to get Cicada, but not anymore. I don’t really know why.
Actually, Odyssey is smilar to muse in a lot of ways. Nowhere near as ood, though. For instance, there wasthe Muse about mirror nuerons in December, and the december Odyssey had a short article on them too. That happens more than you would think.

I used to get Ask…my subscription started from the very first issue!

#32: Yeah, my friend was kind of drugged up on allergy medication and she looked at my “Resistence is Museless” shirt and totally misinterpreted it. She said it was the drugs acting, but I know her well enough to know that she was lying.
Eeenyway, I feel like ranting. So:
This is the first time I have ever been angry about homework amounts from my English class. First time. Ever.
Okay, so we had class yesterday, or two days before spring break begins. It went well enough, but that wasn’t the point.
The point is that my teacher is assigning a ridiculous amount of homework over break, more than we are usually assigned each week. This week’s assignments are as follows:
— explicate, analyse and memorise a selected silioquy from Much Ado About Nothing
— come up with a topic relating to Renaissance England, Shakespeare, etc. and create a ten-minute presentation on your topic and include an interactive element
— read Act IV and do questions
— finish any late/incomplete work (which I actually have a lot of, because I’ve had some…issues…lately that have been distracting me. And no, its not PMS)
— write two journals, each being at least one page in length
— work on eight-page long thesis paper
We had less homework than this over winter break, and then we had three weeks, so it was fine.
But this is not.
Granted, I technically have two weeks to do this. However, as I will be either planning, having a good time and/or jet-lagged for the entirety of break, I think that this is incredibly unfair. It actually is a lot more than we usually get, and its over break. A lot of people in my class are going to be traveling over break and thus unable to work on things. And the rest just want a break.
Fabulous, no?
Just so I’m not totally diverging from the topic, we get the National Wildlife Federation. And form time to time my mum rents Vanity Fair and . We also borrow The Economist from my grandpa. I used to buy from the newsstand once in a while, but I never really got into it. (We’re kind of…frugal.)
Ah, and I think I have a new Muse recruit. However, it might be a while till he subscribes, as he’s currently saving up for Stargate seasons.
And evidently my teachers still think there is something deeply wrong with me. I didn’t realise I had forgotten to stratch out one f-bomb in my assignment book..and “Reefer gives you a potty mouth!”
This is a ridiculously long post, but hey. It could be a heck of a lot longer.

49-I got the first issue of Ask too, because we were getting Click at the time, but we didn’t order a subscription for another couple of years.

YAY, people are responding! My Spring break has come and gone, but next week is partly Easter break!!!!!! YAYAYAYYAY!
Ok, I’m a little confused… Kiki, are you the same as Milady the Most Honourable Kiki the Wholesome of Deepest Throcking the same as ?kiki he great? the same as Kiki_the_great? I looked on the Who’s here page, but it only listed the last one I put, as well as names I have never seen anybody use since I got here. I know kt the gr8 isn’t you, but you certainly have a few names.
I think the record is: “criselephantine puddle = weirdalyankovic = countolaf =windfirewaterice = twilightswordsman = shadeslayer = Eragon Shadeslayer = Gaara of the Desert = Shino Aburame = Sasuke Uchiha = Naruto Uzamake = SoulForged = Lord of the Rings = Angel’s Holocaust = Majora’s Wrath (12/31/06) ” but maybe Arionhrod of Orkney. Hard to tell…

I have afew philosophies of mine:
1: Bad language is BAD! You shouldn’t be bad, so don’t say them.
2: Don’t get mad. Get glad.
3: If some one insults you, laugh. They’ll be confused, and they’ll feel like they’ve failed at something, and you’ll just help yourself because laughter is good for you.
4: If someone is annoying you and won’t stop then glare at them like a madman and say something like, “If you don’t stop, I will decapitate you, stick your head on a pole, and feed it to the ravens.” They’ll think you’re crazy and since it’s not a good idea to mess with crazy people, they’ll leave you alone.

Today has been pointless. I hate halfdays, because we never do anything.
History: We took a test and were supposed to be working on something about Andrew Jackson afterwards…but I didn’t and instead spent the whole time writing lyrics all over my papers, as usual. My teacher wasn’t even mad about my lax. The only reason why she complained was because she couldn’t read my handwriting (she looks forward to the crazy things I write in the margins).
TREC (a class that has little to no purpose in general): Checked Excell formulas from a recent project, did impromptu, passed notes.
Computer Literacy: Free time, which is what’s up now.
Study Hall: Enjoying the privileges the librarian grants us, like being able to eat, drink and be merry in the library. The four of us are having a party to kick off the holidays. I smuggled in chips and salsa, and my friend managed to bring a two-litre of ginger ale and some marshmallows. So at least that shall be fun!
So in about 36 hours I should be on a plane to England…scary.
77– I just glare. That’s usually pretty effective.

I get sooooo many mags… but I’ve been really cutting down the number over the last few years…
Muse (duh!)
Cicada
Cricket
American Girl
Ranger Rick (kid’s mag – my subscription’s almost through)
Scientific American (my dad’s)
Science News (my dad’s)
Am I the only one who gets American Girl? I won’t be surprised if the answer’s yes…
I don’t particularly care for Time of National Geographic… their articles just seem boring to me…
My way of getting news: THE RADIO (dum dum duuuuuummm)
Yes, I usually know the news before anyone else at skool because I listen to the radio in the car on my way to and from school
Any other radio fans?
Anyone heard of Garrison Keillor (sp?)?

There’s a local radio theatre…thing…open to anyone. You can audition to be in radio productions, and then you perform in front of a live audience, when its recorded and later put on the air. I have a few friends in it…pretty sweet.

Well at this rate, we need more than 110 posts a day to get to a 5th random thread. That’s more posts a day than there have been on this thread so far. *sighs* Let’s see if we can even make it halfway to 150 posts.

Otzi is currently wondering why all the attractive people in movies are the first ones killed. Like Cedric Diggory, for example. It’s an odd phenomenon; maybe those in charge have a deep seated grudge?

This is random, I know, but…I had a great 17th b-day. Other than the usual (piano lessons, etc.), we (me and my parents) went out to eat, and then we came home and I opened my presents. Presents are awesome!
I got a total of $290 dollars ($250 from my paternal grandpa, although usually I only get 100 from him on b-days, and 250 and Christmas, but I’m not complaining! $20 from my maternal grandma, and $20 from one of my aunts).
Then, from my sister who’s off at college, I got a Harry Potter t-shirt. It’s black and says “I solemnly swear that I am up to no good” on the front, and “Mischief Managed” on the back. From my parents I got the kid’s Gryffindor scarf and stocking hat that’s available online. It came in at the thriftstore where my mom works, since I already have a Gryffindor scarf (one of the wool ones, that’s several feet long), my parents wouldn’t’ve specially ordered that. Especially considering the scarf is two feet long. But I will definitely wear the hat!
Then, do you guys know how ‘La Poste’ (the postal service, in case that’s not obvious) in France made Harry Potter stamps? It was in the paper recently up here in AK. So, anyways, I’d made a comment about wanting them, and to my total surprise, mom got me ’em for my b-day yesterday. There’s four sheets, and all except one sheet is self-adhesive, the other sheet you have to lick. Anyways, there totallly awesome.
Then my sister called me and I broke the record for my longest phone conversation. I talked to her (according to my dad) for about an hour, and considering I don’t like talking on the phone, and I was doing most of the talking, that’s rather unusual. The previous record for me was a phone call that lasted about 30-45 minutes, and the other person was doing most of the talking, while I was mainly just saying yeah, uh-huh, yeah. That was last Friday, while I’d been in the middle of readin Draco Sinister online (just finished it today, it’s awesome) and I didn’t particularly want to talk, and was half attempting to continue reading while half listening to her, but that didn’t work, so I had to give up trying to read, ’til she finally stopped talking.
Anyway, whatever, I’m goign to try and find where the cover of HP 7 is shown, I’ve not seen it. and then I’m going to watch the new potterpuppetpals somebody mentioned.

All minerals are rocks, but not all rocks are minerals.
That is my new favorite cryptic saying. It’s from the pages in the earth science review book that we were all supposed to read Wednesday and then do questions. I’ve been writing random quotes that I know in their entirety in my graphing calculator right before I turn it off, and then when I have to use it, I turn it on and they cheer me up. I’ve used:
Life is the epitome of an enigma. (a friend who’ll probably dislike me using it here, although I love that quote)
I don’t want the world, I just want your half. (tmbg)
If the answer is right, who cares if the question is wrong? (play, my line)
All minerals are rocks, but not all rocks are minerals. (review book)
Everyone dies frustrated and sad, and that is beautiful. (tmbg)

We had 2 tornados yestereday. Funfunfun.
I just got back from a camp were we got to get Really Muddy while climbing up sheer rock faces.
Passovers coming up so my mom won’t buy any kind of grain and she is trying to use up all the grain in the house. Meals are getting really weird.

79 – I get American Girl, but my little sister reads it.
89 – Lord of the Rings. Wow, you’re the first person I’ve ever met who doesn’t know what that means. No, jk. You’re about the fifth.
92 – Yeah, pretty sweet. My freinds and I say that he invented snowboarding and that, since there wasn’t any snow around, he did it on stairs instead. I know, kinda lame, but still strange. And he can shoot arrows while sliding down the stairs on a sheild, which tis very fr00dy.

It’s very sunny where I live right now.
On Muse’s main page, when you hold the mouse over the April 2007 cover, it says, “March 2007 cover”. Just wanted to let the GAPAs know.

Who is Sailor Moon? And do you know what dork is slang for? (You really, really don’t want to know.)

101-No, I don’t know what it means…*looks it up*…oh, well, if you think of it that way, gosh!!! But, otherwise, it just means a silly person.

77- Hahahaha I am so using number 4…
88- I want to go to that camp.
99- no way. I used to love that character. Been a while since I thought about her, though.

Sorry to bring in a bit of randomness here…. I haven’t been on this blog in a long time, but I need some advice. About love, or maybe just life in general. I’m in high school, so of course I’ve met a lot of interesting people. I fell in love with a junior, the head of the Model UN team at my school. One of my friends is also friends with him and found out that this guy that I like is gay. That was about a week ago. I can’t seem to get over this. I don’t want to go back to school. I just want to dissappear. I need some help. Anybody have any advice?

My favorite threats: (I’m going to…)
wring your neck until I hear chimes
sautee your testicles with bearnaise sauce
feed you to the parakeet
put you in the separator
tear off your ears with my bare hands
stick copper wire under your nails and light the other end
and, of course, the immortal:
VULCAN MINDMELD!
THIS WEEK’S COMMENT:
In Spanish class:
Dan (Icky): You don’t shave your legs!
Me: *Nothing*
Dan: But you’re a girl!
Me: Thank you, Captain Obvious. Are you going to keep babbling, or can I work now?
0
0
107- Oh no… *hugs* I’ve never really been in that situation, so I don’t know. That’s a tough situation to be in though. *sends virtual choklit*

108: I will kill you till you die of it.
Shadowkat: Umm… In my opinion you could grow out of Sailor Moon at around 16, maybe get into something else, like… 300?? By Odin, that movie is awesome.
Other mags I subscribe to:
Nothing. Used to get Cicada, but cancelled. Every story was the same, either some historical story about equality or something else, or a teenage story about the crises adults seem to think we all go through. Incredibly boring.

107: head over to the relationships thread… But my advice would be, if he’s gay, then nothing’s gonna happen, if he’s nice, he won’t hold anything against you, and you should do your best to get over him and look for something new. I know this sounds like common, unhelpful adivce, but there really is nothing you can do, and I myself am struggling with getting over someone (though I seem to be managing).
0
0
111- You sound just like my friend Dan-“It will get better. You’ll find someone else.” Don’t want to sound mean, but that advice isn’t helping.
0
0
112: I know perfectly well it doesn’t help, as I’ve been getting the same advice from everyone for the past 2 months, but it’s the only thing you can do, and the only thing I can tell you.

This is really random, but…. THERE WAS A FRICKIN TORNADO YESTERDAY! It was SCARRRRRYYYYY
0
0
I hate tornados. Every so often one is sighted during school. They put a buzzer on, we all go stand in the hall way. The teachers look worried, the kids are bored. It never really seems real.
That would be wierd/scarry to have one touch down… Glad you’re ‘k!!

I hate myself. I left my camera at Limited Too. I hate myself. *headdesk* *headdesk*

I found this HUGE wild onion the other day and I named her Stan!
114-Yikes! In post 92 I asked if anybody was having tornados, and if they’re all right. I haven’t seen kt, so either her power’s out or… *sobs* she could be homeless! *goes into a deep sob and hopes Fridgy won’t make fun of him for saying that* *sob* *double sob* *weep*
OK, so March is almost over. Here that tornado alley folks? That means the windy month is almost gone. But I guess that means Summer is coming, with thunderstorms bringing worse tornados. Funny weird nature.
108-Dumb kid! Blea.

….why do girls have to shave their legs anyway… how is it fair that guys can go around with gorrilla legs and we are someohow supposed to be magically smooth and hairless… well not magically but you know… it’s not fair…
nevermind…

120- Musers are in danger?! Wah…
^^; Funny Nature… snowing on the last half of Spring Break after sunny 70-degree weather…

120- I thought it was Friday…
122- I know. I love winter, you don’t have to shave at all because you get to wear pants.
0
0
124- I love wearing pants and being miserably hot during the summer.
x.x If sexism ever comes up at my school I think I might make a paper on the shaving of legs.
0
0
125- It’s so bliddy anoying, you cut yourself up with razor blades, get out of the shower, realize you missed a rather large section, throw a fit and dont shave for the rest of the week. Well, that’s how it normally goes for me anyway.
0
0
126- That’s what happened to me until I decided that shaving was a waste of time and shorts are too expensive considering the amount of material used anyway. Now I wear shorts on vacation where if someone is bothered, I’m not around long enough for them to have the right to comment on it…
0

(112) But there’s really nothing else you can do. I’ve been in a situation where the person obviously didn’t like me, but I wasn’t smart and persisted in liking them. If you do that, you only hurt yourself. It’s hard to think you’ll ever get over that person because you don’t want to, right? But in the end, if you don’t, you’ll only be unhappy.

I’m actually really enjoying the slowing of thread-adding. When there are so many threads added in a short amount of time, I get really overwhelmed and have a hard time keeping up with everything. So it’s nice to have a slowing of thread addition.

132-But, of course, we need new random threads.

AHHHHHHHAAAA!!! I found it! I founditIfounditIfoundit! *sings*
*ahem* Sorry. I was just looking through the GaBoomBa, and I found the post I made there, proving to myself that I did once upon a time go there. Wheee! Message number 20. That was many years ago I wrote that, though, so if yousee it please excuse my n00bishness.

What’s the difference between “duh” and “dur”? If there is one.

134-What’s the GaBoomBa? Pre-MB?
135-There really isn’t one.

I would relish the thread-adding-slowing, except that there’s one thread that I’m personally interested in, which I requested. Ah, I hate being in situations that I would normally enjoy except for circumstances that make them impossible to enjoy.

136 – The GaBoomBa is Pre-MuseBlog. Here’s a link to it: https://musefanpage.com/NewFiles/GABOOMBA.html
You can see the message board by clicking on the “Fan Page Fan Mail” feature at the bottom of the page or clicking below. https://musefanpage.com/NewFiles/messages.html
Back then, people e-mailed their posts to Robert and he added them to the message board as they came. It kept the post count down a lot.

See everyone later, yes? Or tomorrow, yes?
@daviedude: I didn’t expect to get on it… but I saw the Evie person and that she/he was here in February and was just concerned that the GAPAs were screwing up… it’s nice, if unoriginalizing, to know that it was in fact an entirely different person.

I just spent 7 hours and almost finished making a dress from duct tape. I ran out of the right color but I’ll get more soon. A reason to go to the eighth grade semi-formal. I can wear it there and show off..
121- No, but I want to see the musical someday, and because I probably won’t for a while, I want to see the movie. Seasons of Love is the sixth best song ever. I checked iTunes for that number. Until I get The Else and fall in love with some of its songs and listen to them more than 25 or so times.
122- I know. I almost never expose my legs in school. It’s too much work to either get a razor to actually work or to explain.
146- It’s fr00dy, even though I always mess up the babelfish challenge and make it unwinnable. The GAPAs let me post the URL before once, on the computer games thread I think. Let’s see, will it be allowed now? http://www.bbc.co.uk/radio4/hitchhikers/game_andrew.shtml

I’m in the Pacific time zone, so it’s really 8:33 over here. I could be posting in April on MuseBlog, but it would still be March for me!
But on MuseBlog time, it’s only 86 minutes until April…

79 minutes…

And I could be posting in April but it would still be March on MB. In fact, if I stay on for 10 more minutes I will be.
Never mind, Robert, you beat me to it! (First post?)
first post???? plz plz plz first post gods plz!!!
(Although I have no clue what impact e-mail addresses have into it.) Of course, like on Mythbusters, we’re going to get so many complaints about this…
o dang
Um GAPAs did you get my post for the last thread? I am putting here in case I put it in too late…
My magazines:
Muse
Birdwatcher’s Digest
Living Bird
Audubon Magazine
The Auk
Can’t think of any others right now, besides local bird newsletters that would tell you where I live.
The HAWK

5-I posted my list on the last thread, but I want to post it again here. Between my brother and I we subscribe to:
-Muse (Me)
-Cricket (Me)
-Ask (Both)
-Spider (Both)
-LEGO magazine (Him)
-Neopets magazine (Me)
-American Girl (Me)
And I think that’s it. You like birds, don’t you?
W00T! A fourth random thread! Everybody chain post so we can get to #5 and prove the GAPAs wrong!
(7) Standing by, ready to zap.
EXTREMELY UPSET BY BORING COVER FOR THE DEATHLY HALLOWS.
“I’M HARRY AND I’M~~~~~REACHING FOR THE STARS~~~~~”
crap.
(8) Aw phoo.
But seriously, whatever happened to my unmoderated post in March Medley, part 4? Is it still suspended in GAPA-moderating hyperspace? Gone forever? Or what?
11-I was wondering that too. As you wish.
(This is Cat’s Meow, obviously.)
8-YAY! Yay for the GAPAs standing up against evil po-pos! YAY! :YAY: &YAY; &YAY; &YAY;
OK, I am finished!
davidude, I thought you hated po-poers too!?! hmmm…
The GAPA Praising HAWK

(10),
Posting it would have squeezed it into the sequence of posts, messing up the numbers people used to refer to posts after it, so I zapped it.
(12
8 ),
Yes, we Administrators dislike blatant attempts to squander space.
IT WORKED! And, to prove it…I can tell you davidude’s hidden post said.
“GAPAs, suspend this post in moderating hyperspace for a while, please.”
That explains why all my preliminary tests were working! It wasn’t because of the IP address, it was because of the e-mail address!

*falls over*
I doubt that wewill make it to a march medley 5. thets just try in april.
Well yea, it took 10 days to get from part 3 to part 4. Part 5 is in nearly complete doubt.
well, i suppose i should do my part, shouldn’t i?
my parents won’t get me a hpb shirt!
my mom still thinks it’s too close to the playboy bunny.
32. that stinks…i still havent decided which shirt i want and dont have money for more than one at the moment…decisions, decisions
The cover is OK. I get the UK version, even though I live in the United States, and I really really want to know what that looks like now. I’m sure there is a news article somewhere but I’m too lazy to look.
35-Yeah, and then there’s be no point. On the bright side, in 2 1/2 hours we got 36 or so posts. That works out to be…14.4 posts per hour. In other words: davidude’s estimate is about right.
(35, 32),
Have they looked at the Playboy bunny lately?
Small chance of confusion, I’d say.
I don’t see a big similarity. My parents didn’t say anything about it…we have a HPB sweatshirt.
Honestly, I don’t really see the big deal with viewing other peoples posts. I mean, unless yu were going around impersonating someone you wouldn’t be able to see it before moderation, and why would we do that? We’d be just as bad as whoever posted something not allowed.
MY POLL:
What magazines OTHER than Muse do you/your family get?The Swift HAWK

9- Me ish in agreement. Though ze orange is purdy. The British children’s cover reveals a lot more about the story.
Magazines I Get:
Muse
American Girl
Wired
Discover
National Geographic
Macworld
Levenger (tis a kewl catalog)
just took an exam on the constitution, either bombed it or passed with flying colors. i say this because it was too easy
i ♥ pink bunnies!
Yay! Another random thread. I would like to ONCE AGAIN ask the GAPAs for a thread on either Tornado alley (but I don’t think they like that one) OR school projects. (Homeschool projects too.)
39 – That is true…but the post prediction so highly overshoots 300 that there is room for long periods of lack of posting, so the chance of a fifth random thread is not zero!
Sorry for the triple post.
Right now we’re about 1/6 of the way there, so we just might make it.
*chaining…* how do you chain post, anyways? BTW…TODAY”S THE LAST DAY OF SCHOOL B4 SPRING BREAK!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! other stuff my parents get that I don’t read or pay much attention to
sometimes i find time and newsweek interesting but that is very rarely
64 – I love newsweek (I subscribe).
Oh! I forgot. We also subscribe to Consumer Reports.
Muse is the one and only for me.
I get:
the NY Times, though only on the weekends
Muse
National Geographic
Smithsonian
NYT mag (does it count?)
Some small, obscure teaching union magazines (my mom)
Le Faucon

Snow?
Its been very sunny and warm lately.
But we’re supposed to get snow on Sunday. Fun stuff.
68- I am one and the same with Kiki the Great and Kiki_the_great. ?Kiki the Great? is also me, but the ?’s stand for Mac-only icons that I used around my name for a while.
I just started Abarat. I LOVE it!!!
My spring break hasn’t even started yet!
oh yeah, and wired. wired ftw!!!
magazines:
Muse (mine)
The New Yorker (parent’s mostly I read some though too)
The New York Times magazine (though it comes with the paper…)
Scientific American (Mine, my dad maybe my brother and mother read it rarely)
Sports Illustrated (my brother’s)
I think that’s it…
(52) That’s awful. Just two of those seems like a lot to do, and over vacation for crying out loud, but all of them….Jeez. Best of luck to you. Don’t overwork yourself.
(57) I LIKEZ GACKT!!!!!!111!1!1
(68)………………….lul Uzumake.
37-Pretty much…
I have afew philosophies of mine:
52- *cringe* I feel sooooo sorry for you.
79– He’s pretty cool. And very funny!
(tmbg)
79- Garrison Keillor r00lz. And thanks for reminding me about tomorrow’s PHC, too.
83- Legolas wasn’t killed in LOTR.
Fellowmuser will start talking in third person now.
It is wet. Very wet. Its been raining for days.
We’ve got a tornado watch (I’m in tornado alley, so what else is new?) and a flash flood watch. Both at the same time that scares me.
What is LOTR? Why am I so clueless all the time?
79- I used to get American Girl. Now I don’t.
84- The cover was on Yahoo! news. The American one, not the UK one. I haven’t found the UK one anywhere. and congrats on having such a great birthday.
79- of course! I’m minnesotan, it’s sort of required ^_^ (just kidding, about the required, not the minnesotan or the knowning who Garrison Keillor is)
89-LOTR is Lord of the Rings.
77-I know where that get glad qoute comes from! (heehee)
82-Why does that matter? I tink we should stop worrying about that and start talking about real things. That’s probably the only possible way to break the record anyway.
87-Thank GOODNESS!!!!!! heheheh. He can slide down stairs on a SHIELD!!! Sorry, I just had to say that.

wahahaha!
maybe Majora’s Wrath should start talking in third person, too. yes, i think he will.
Oops.
The Skipper feels horribly unhappy.
*does not feel like jigging right now*
Guys, am I a total dork for liking Sailor Moon at age 16?
(98),
What’s the matter, TSN?
Who is Sailor Moon? And do you know what dork is slang for? (You really, really don’t want to know.)
101-No, I don’t know what it means…*looks it up*…oh, well, if you think of it that way, gosh!!! But, otherwise, it just means a silly person.
77- Hahahaha I am so using number 4…
88- I want to go to that camp.
99- no way. I used to love that character. Been a while since I thought about her, though.
^^ Yay for decapitation, poling, and feeding the poor malnutured ravens! Bigger yay for the glaring bit! (thanks 77- you and meh friend Caiti-chan could get so far together…)
103-Lol…thanks.
You make me feel better.
(101)…………..how can you not know.
And Shadowcat: No. No you aren’t.
111- You sound just like my friend Dan-“It will get better. You’ll find someone else.” Don’t want to sound mean, but that advice isn’t helping.
Zeeky booky doog! *BOOM!*
Hello?
Kamakazzi Watermellon! Bum-bada-bum-badum! *Splat!*
114-Yikes! In post 92 I asked if anybody was having tornados, and if they’re all right. I haven’t seen kt, so either her power’s out or… *sobs* she could be homeless! *goes into a deep sob and hopes Fridgy won’t make fun of him for saying that*
*sob* *double sob* *weep*
OK, so March is almost over. Here that tornado alley folks? That means the windy month is almost gone. But I guess that means Summer is coming, with thunderstorms bringing worse tornados.
Funnyweird nature.108-Dumb kid! Blea.
The Happy That It’s Saturday But Sad Because Musers Are In Danger HAWK

More randomness from me…..Is anybody here obsessed with the movie RENT like I am?
….why do girls have to shave their legs anyway… how is it fair that guys can go around with gorrilla legs and we are someohow supposed to be magically smooth and hairless… well not magically but you know… it’s not fair…
nevermind…
120- Musers are in danger?!
Wah…
^^; Funny Nature… snowing on the last half of Spring Break after sunny 70-degree weather…
120- I thought it was Friday…
122- I know. I love winter, you don’t have to shave at all because you get to wear pants.
124-
I love wearing pants and being miserably hot during the summer.
x.x If sexism ever comes up at my school I think I might make a paper on the shaving of legs.
125- It’s so bliddy anoying, you cut yourself up with razor blades, get out of the shower, realize you missed a rather large section, throw a fit and dont shave for the rest of the week. Well, that’s how it normally goes for me anyway.
126- That’s what happened to me until I decided that shaving was a waste of time and shorts are too expensive considering the amount of material used anyway.
Now I wear shorts on vacation where if someone is bothered, I’m not around long enough for them to have the right to comment on it…
(112) But there’s really nothing else you can do.
There’s been no new threads for the past 48 hours…but there will be at least 3 new ones in less than 10 hours. Hee hee I’m psychic!
129-Dur. The new random thread, discussion threads, and newcomer threads. Oh well. At least you figured that out before I did.
129
…awwwww…
135/6
…if you roll your r on dur you could argue it’s the Spanish form of duh…?
I don’t know. ^^;
Neeeeevermind, Sorry.
137- Which one did you request?
^^; Situations are funny like that.
136- Yup, before Museblog came up you emailed comments to the Administrator and they posted it for you.
136 – The GaBoomBa is Pre-MuseBlog. Here’s a link to it:
https://musefanpage.com/NewFiles/GABOOMBA.html
You can see the message board by clicking on the “Fan Page Fan Mail” feature at the bottom of the page or clicking below.
https://musefanpage.com/NewFiles/messages.html
Back then, people e-mailed their posts to Robert and he added them to the message board as they came. It kept the post count down a lot.
I didn’t see post 140 before I posted post 141.
Whoa! These posts are getting moderated within a matter of seconds!
@daviedude: I didn’t expect to get on it… but I saw the Evie person and that she/he was here in February and was just concerned that the GAPAs were screwing up… it’s nice, if unoriginalizing, to know that it was in fact an entirely different person.
I really like reading through the Gaboomba. I’ve read the entire thing several times. It’s really interesting!
Isn’t there an H2G2 online game type thing? What’s the url?
146- Yes, there is. Sorry, you’ll have to google it. It’s pretty good, but I always lose patience in the vogon hold and quit.
hello!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
FrigidSymphony-Fine, I’ll see 300!!! Gosh…if my parents let me, that is…we’ll see…either way, if not just for you, I’ll see it at some point, ok?

DESPRATE
attempt for a 5th random thread this month. Sorry.
In fact, if I stay on for 10 more minutes I will be.
approx. 69 minutes
53 minutes…
157 – Interesting.
45 minutes…

It’s already April for Dodecahedron
19 minutes…

13 minutes…

11 minutes…

9 minutes…

oh the suspense
