Happy Birthday, Doctor Sagan.
Thank you for the journeys.
He was the one who did the Cosmos videos, right? We started watching those once, but never got around to finishing them…
Yes.
Who?
Happy birthday, whoever-you-are.

*cringes* So…who was he?
I’m not really sure, but he popularized astronomy. I don’t know anything else about him, though, except that when he was 17 he came up with a (serious) theory that Jesus and Moses came to earth via flying saucers, which is… interesting.
Anyway, happy belated birthday, Carl Sagan!
Happy birthday, Carl Sagan! You changed the world…thank you.
KaiYves,
Have you heard of a writer named Lane Wallace? She’s a pilot and adventurer and has written books about NASA. I’ve just discovered her blog, “No Map. No Guide. No Limits.” She sounds both Muserly and Kai-like.
Not until you just mentioned her, no, I hadn’t.
Happy late birthday Carl Sagan!
No way. I remember when this thread came up last year. I had no idea who Carl Sagan was. Now, thanks to my progressive mind, I know he has something to do with space and science.
Happy birthday, whoever you were!
Whoever you were, (or are, assuming your theory about the flying saucers was correct) happy birthday! I have heard you referenced in xkcd, but have no clue who you are.
Good luck out there in space.
Let’s all go play the Symphony of Science videos in honor.
Great idea! I’ll do that, even though I’m late. I only just discovered SoS, but it’s awesome…
